富順(shun)文廟坐北朝南,背靠神龜(gui)山,面向(xiang)沱江,不(bu)僅符合古(gu)代風(feng)水學(xue)的(de)原則,還具有皇宮氣派。跟全國絕大多數(shu)文廟建(jian)在平(ping)地(di)上不(bu)同,富順(shun)文廟從敬一亭到數(shu)仞宮墻,依次沿山坡修下(xia)去,面闊46米,縱深160余米,占地(di)10余畝。
富順文廟中保存年(nian)(nian)代早的建筑物要數敬一亭中那座孔(kong)子陰刻像石碑。據《富順縣志》記載(zai),該像系唐代畫家吳道子所(suo)繪,南(nan)宋紹興十五(wu)年(nian)(nian)(公元1145年(nian)(nian))翻(fan)刻而成。
富順文(wen)廟的(de)格局跟全國絕大多數文(wen)廟一樣,仿山東曲(qu)阜孔廟的(de)樣板而建,即通過“數仞(ren)宮(gong)墻”左右(you)的(de)“禮門”、“義路(lu)”或兩旁的(de)“圣(sheng)域”、“賢關”進入(ru)。首先(xian)映入(ru)眼(yan)簾(lian)的(de)是(shi)(shi)“泮池”,跨(kua)過橫臥泮池上的(de)“狀(zhuang)元橋”,是(shi)(shi)一座石(shi)坊建筑(zhu)(zhu)“欞(ling)星(xing)門”,經(jing)過欞(ling)星(xing)門進入(ru)建筑(zhu)(zhu)群(qun)的(de)第(di)一個(ge)院(yuan)落,正(zheng)面(mian)(mian)是(shi)(shi)“大成(cheng)門”;從大成(cheng)門再往里走,便(bian)是(shi)(shi)建筑(zhu)(zhu)群(qun)的(de)第(di)二個(ge)院(yuan)落,正(zheng)面(mian)(mian)是(shi)(shi)整個(ge)建筑(zhu)(zhu)群(qun)的(de)主殿“大成(cheng)殿”,大成(cheng)殿前有(you)一個(ge)舉辦祭孔活動的(de)月臺;繞過大成(cheng)殿,進入(ru)第(di)三個(ge)院(yuan)落,正(zheng)面(mian)(mian)是(shi)(shi)“崇圣(sheng)祠(ci)”,再往里走就是(shi)(shi)后一座建筑(zhu)(zhu)“敬一亭”了。
整個建(jian)筑群都凝聚著博大(da)精深的(de)儒家學(xue)說,如泮池、狀(zhuang)元橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)以及欞(ling)星(xing)門(men)(men)。泮池就是(shi)學(xue)校的(de)意思(si),意味著進(jin)入孔(kong)子(zi)之(zhi)門(men)(men)也(ye)就進(jin)入了讀(du)書(shu)求(qiu)官之(zhi)門(men)(men),如果有幸蟾宮折桂,就可以從狀(zhuang)元橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)上(shang)通過(guo)。欞(ling)星(xing)為(wei)天(tian)上(shang)文(wen)星(xing),意思(si)是(shi)孔(kong)子(zi)是(shi)天(tian)上(shang)文(wen)星(xing)下(xia)凡,經過(guo)欞(ling)星(xing)門(men)(men)方才算(suan)正式進(jin)入了孔(kong)子(zi)門(men)(men)下(xia)。富(fu)順文(wen)廟的(de)狀(zhuang)元橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)為(wei)九(jiu)龍鏤空石(shi)拱(gong)橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao),這跟許多文(wen)廟的(de)狀(zhuang)元橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)為(wei)平板橋(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)相比,更具(ju)特色;欞(ling)星(xing)門(men)(men)由12根沖(chong)天(tian)石(shi)柱聯排(pai)構成,高(gao)的(de)石(shi)柱達12.8米,超過(guo)曲阜孔(kong)廟欞(ling)星(xing)門(men)(men)10.34米的(de)高(gao)度。大(da)成殿門(men)(men)前的(de)九(jiu)龍丹陛,為(wei)三層鏤空九(jiu)龍石(shi)雕(diao),可為(wei)富(fu)順文(wen)廟石(shi)刻(ke)代表。
富(fu)順(shun)文廟(miao)(miao)自北周武(wu)帝天和二年建(jian)縣(xian)(xian)至(zhi)北宋初年(567-960)的近400年間,由于(yu)地處邊陲,僚(liao)漢雜(za)居,鹽業雖盛而(er)文風(feng)未開。宋仁宗景祐三年(1036),朝廷選派太常博士(shi)(shi)名學(xue)者(zhe)周延(yan)俊(jun)來富(fu)順(shun)任知監(jian),努力興教(jiao)化,辦學(xue)校(xiao),培育士(shi)(shi)子(zi)。在(zai)他任職的第六(liu)年,即慶(qing)歷(li)(li)二年(1042),富(fu)順(shun)縣(xian)(xian)終于(yu)出了第一個進(jin)士(shi)(shi)-李冕(mian),全縣(xian)(xian)士(shi)(shi)民無(wu)不歡(huan)欣慶(qing)幸。在(zai)周延(yan)俊(jun)的倡導下,人們集資于(yu)慶(qing)歷(li)(li)四年(1044),在(zai)縣(xian)(xian)城中(zhong)心的南門(men),建(jian)成一座文廟(miao)(miao),主供孔子(zi),時稱"文宣(xuan)網廟(miao)(miao)"。并在(zai)廟(miao)(miao)內(nei)立石(shi)質"雁(yan)塔碑",以刻全縣(xian)(xian)歷(li)(li)次中(zhong)試者(zhe)的名字。此(ci)后,歷(li)(li)任富(fu)順(shun)知監(jian),均熱心教(jiao)育事業,親任儒學(xue)教(jiao)授,常在(zai)從政之余,來廟(miao)(miao)內(nei)為生員講課(ke),于(yu)是文風(feng)大開。宋代在(zai)雁(yan)塔刻名的進(jin)士(shi)(shi)即有(you)67人之多。
元(yuan)代文廟(miao)改稱"先圣廟(miao)"。至大四年(1311),富順知州任顯忠,建立戟門,安置禮(li)器,補修大成殿,為兩廡(wu)里柵欄。英宗(zong)時(shi)期,縣佐王納速(su)建御書碑亭。
明(ming)太祖(zu)朱(zhu)元璋平定江山,詔天下立學育士(shi),改先圣廟(miao)為"先師(shi)廟(miao)"。明(ming)朝(chao)洪武六年(nian)(1373)年(nian),知縣鐘鉉重整(zheng)廟(miao)壇(tan),興建(jian)學校(xiao),砌(qi)石泮池。以后又(you)經(jing)8次(ci)修補和小增(zeng)建(jian)。明(ming)成祖(zu)永樂(le)年(nian)間始(shi)稱"文廟(miao)"。此后,文風日(ri)盛,教育事業(ye)發達,入學中舉者逐年(nian)增(zeng)多(duo)。有明(ming)一代,赴京(jing)會試,中進士(shi)者達139人(ren),占四川省進士(shi)總數的(de)(de)十三分之一,因而獲得"才子(zi)甲西蜀",富(fu)順才子(zi)內江官"的(de)(de)美(mei)譽。
明末清(qing)初(chu),蜀中(zhong)大(da)亂25年,文廟(miao)(miao)失修,殘破(po)不(bu)堪。康(kang)熙(xi)二(er)十一年(1682)年,平定三(san)藩(fan)后的第一任富(fu)(fu)順(shun)(shun)知(zhi)(zhi)縣(xian)錢紹隆(long),重新整修文廟(miao)(miao),修大(da)成殿明倫(lun)堂(tang),恢復祭祀和學校(xiao)。乾隆(long)二(er)十九(jiu)年(1764),知(zhi)(zhi)縣(xian)熊葵向(xiang)集資修建(jian)文廟(miao)(miao)外墻,重建(jian)兩廡,并砌日月壇。至道光(guang)中(zhong)期,文廟(miao)(miao)雖經多(duo)次修葺(qi),終屬小(xiao)修小(xiao)補,其破(po)敗之狀與以出(chu)才子名聞(wen)全川的富(fu)(fu)順(shun)(shun)縣(xian)頗不(bu)相稱。清(qing)代立(li)朝到道光(guang)中(zhong)期,富(fu)(fu)順(shun)(shun)僅出(chu)了11名進士,民間認為文章風水移(yi)動是因對孔圣(sheng)不(bu)敬之故。
道(dao)光十(shi)六(liu)(liu)年(nian)(1836),富順(shun)(shun)(shun)(shun)知縣鄧仁坤決定重建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)文(wen)廟(miao)(miao),并與當(dang)時(shi)富順(shun)(shun)(shun)(shun)縣第一大(da)財主(zhu)(zhu)、貢生肖永(yong)升(sheng)商議。肖永(yong)升(sheng)當(dang)即表(biao)示:為了保住富順(shun)(shun)(shun)(shun)“文(wen)章(zhang)風水”,愿盡儒生之(zhi)責,獨肩重建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)之(zhi)任。于是(shi)雇(gu)工請匠,立即拆(chai)除文(wen)廟(miao)(miao),特派專人前(qian)(qian)往山東曲阜縣,通(tong)(tong)過任澤區令的富順(shun)(shun)(shun)(shun)進士張(zhang)震,取回建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)的規制(zhi)圖紙(zhi)。又(you)從(cong)雷波、馬邊運回巨(ju)木(mu),從(cong)江西景(jing)德鎮定制(zhi)琉璃瓦,共費資三(san)(san)萬六(liu)(liu)千,歷(li)時(shi)四(si)年(nian),于道(dao)光二十(shi)年(nian)(1840)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)成(cheng)。自崇圣(sheng)祠(ci)(ci)、大(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)、月臺、兩廡、戟門(men)(men)(men)(men)、更衣(yi)祭(ji)器所、下(xia)至欞星門(men)(men)(men)(men)、名宦鄉賢祠(ci)(ci)、禮(li)門(men)(men)(men)(men)、義路、泮(pan)池(chi)(chi)、橋欄、宮(gong)墻、外賢關、圣(sheng)域門(men)(men)(men)(men)皆高(gao)廣堅致,逾舊(jiu)數倍。共占地10余畝,建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)占地3000多平方米(mi)(mi)。廟(miao)(miao)正(zheng)面為一帶紅墻,上(shang)塑“數仞宮(gong)墻”4個大(da)字。左右(you)(you)(you)(you)有(you)(you)2門(men)(men)(men)(men),曰(yue)“圣(sheng)域”、“賢關”,非祭(ji)祀(si)不(bu)(bu)開。進門(men)(men)(men)(men)為泮(pan)池(chi)(chi),池(chi)(chi)上(shang)架橋三(san)(san)座;中(zhong)為九龍(long)橋,不(bu)(bu)通(tong)(tong)行,左右(you)(you)(you)(you)便橋,為祭(ji)祀(si)過道(dao)。池(chi)(chi)左右(you)(you)(you)(you)有(you)(you)2門(men)(men)(men)(men),曰(yue)“禮(li)門(men)(men)(men)(men)”、“義路”,為平日(ri)出(chu)入之(zhi)門(men)(men)(men)(men),分(fen)別立有(you)(you)“文(wen)官(guan)(guan)下(xia)轎(jiao)”、“武官(guan)(guan)下(xia)馬”石(shi)(shi)(shi)碑(bei)。池(chi)(chi)后(hou)為石(shi)(shi)(shi)坊“欞星門(men)(men)(men)(men)”,有(you)(you)3孔通(tong)(tong)入,坊寬22.4米(mi)(mi),高(gao)12.65米(mi)(mi)。再拾級為“明倫(lun)堂”-即戟門(men)(men)(men)(men),左右(you)(you)(you)(you)為“更衣(yi)祭(ji)器所”,戟門(men)(men)(men)(men)后(hou)有(you)(you)廣場(chang),場(chang)后(hou)有(you)(you)“日(ri)月壇”,中(zhong)為九龍(long)鏤空浮雕,左右(you)(you)(you)(you)有(you)(you)石(shi)(shi)(shi)梯登臺。臺后(hou)為文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)主(zhu)(zhu)體建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)“大(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)”,殿(dian)高(gao)35米(mi)(mi),為明清時(shi)期(qi)典型斗拱結構,畫(hua)棟飛(fei)檐,精巧華美,脊龍(long)昂首,躍然欲飛(fei),琉璃金(jin)(jin)碧,映(ying)日(ri)生輝,壯麗凝重,古(gu)(gu)色古(gu)(gu)香(xiang)。殿(dian)后(hou)有(you)(you)一院落為“泮(pan)宮(gong)”(“泮(pan)宮(gong)丹桂是(shi)富順(shun)(shun)(shun)(shun)八(ba)景(jing)之(zhi)一)。再往后(hou),是(shi)”崇圣(sheng)殿(dian)“,左右(you)(you)(you)(you)有(you)(you)”龍(long)池(chi)(chi)“、”風穴“,清泉常滿(man),大(da)旱不(bu)(bu)涸(he)。壁間在乾(qian)隆(long)時(shi)鐫有(you)(you)石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻(ke)”龍(long)池(chi)(chi)“、”鳳穴“,筆力(li)遒勁(jing),近代罕見。崇圣(sheng)殿(dian)隆(long)起(qi)的坎上(shang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)是(shi)孔子(zi)之(zhi)”寢宮(gong)“。寢宮(gong)較(jiao)小,只有(you)(you)三(san)(san)楹中(zhong)供(gong)木(mu)刻(ke)”空子(zi)神(shen)位“(宋代以(yi)前(qian)(qian)為石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻(ke)),情地金(jin)(jin)書孔子(zi)像,系(xi)唐吳道(dao)子(zi)所畫(hua),從(cong)曲阜拓回。左右(you)(you)(you)(you)廊(lang)廡,先后(hou)曾(ceng)作生員學舍、縣教(jiao)諭(yu)署(shu)及名宦鄉賢祠(ci)(ci)。
光緒二十二年(1896),縣人張世芳將先世所捐學田2處,改(gai)捐作維修文廟之業(ye)田。光緒33年(1907),詔生孔(kong)子大祀。于是改(gai)崇圣寺及宮(gong)墻為黃(huang)(huang)瓦(wa)(wa)(原只有大成殿、大成門準用黃(huang)(huang)瓦(wa)(wa)。
抗日(ri)戰爭時期中,日(ri)本飛(fei)機炸毀大成殿(dian)一角及西廊廡,后(hou)(hou)雖經修復,但(dan)技藝低下(xia),終不復原。解放后(hou)(hou),曾(ceng)于1958年前(qian)后(hou)(hou),對文(wen)(wen)廟粉飾一。1980年7月(yue),富順(shun)文(wen)(wen)廟列為(wei)四川省(sheng)文(wen)(wen)物(wu)保護單(dan)位后(hou)(hou),省(sheng)府又(you)撥專款(kuan),予(yu)以修葺、粉飾,現在基(ji)本保持原貌,并增添服務設施(shi),長年開放,供(gong)人民游覽(lan)憑(ping)吊,2001年又(you)被(bei)列為(wei)國家(jia)重(zhong)點文(wen)(wen)物(wu)保護單(dan)位。
富(fu)順(shun)文(wen)(wen)廟(miao)有(you)(you)“五(wu)絕(jue)”。一(yi)是(shi)欞(ling)星門由3組石(shi)(shi)坊(fang)組成(cheng),中(zhong)間一(yi)組石(shi)(shi)柱(zhu)(zhu)高達12.65米(mi),為各(ge)地文(wen)(wen)廟(miao)所罕見。二是(shi)大(da)(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)面積(ji)532平方米(mi),共用大(da)(da)圓柱(zhu)(zhu)50根,殿(dian)高30米(mi),整個梁(liang)枋(fang)、檐(yan)板都(dou)是(shi)精(jing)雕的(de)(de)(de)(de)龍(long)(long)鳳麟獅、蟲魚花(hua)鳥。三(san)是(shi)孔子石(shi)(shi)刻(ke)像(xiang)奇(qi)。此像(xiang)不(bu)著冕旒,線條簡潔明朗,衣(yi)著飄逸(yi)自然、形(xing)象逼真,是(shi)稀世(shi)珍品。四(si)是(shi)龍(long)(long)的(de)(de)(de)(de)世(shi)界(jie)。文(wen)(wen)廟(miao)內(nei)有(you)(you)大(da)(da)大(da)(da)小小各(ge)具(ju)形(xing)態(tai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)雕龍(long)(long)300多條,有(you)(you)浮騰在20余米(mi)高空的(de)(de)(de)(de)巨龍(long)(long),有(you)(you)蜿蜒于泮池“狀元橋”上(shang)(shang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)九龍(long)(long),大(da)(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)屋(wu)(wu)脊上(shang)(shang)有(you)(you)飛龍(long)(long)。五(wu)是(shi)崇圣祠上(shang)(shang)裸(luo)體男(nan)陶人之“謎(mi)”。在1986年翻修富(fu)順(shun)文(wen)(wen)廟(miao)崇圣祠屋(wu)(wu)面時(shi),發(fa)現正脊梁(liang)三(san)重琉(liu)璃亭塔式寶鼎中(zhong)有(you)(you)一(yi)尊(zun)古(gu)銅色裸(luo)體男(nan)陶像(xiang),其身(shen)高25厘米(mi),肩寬10厘米(mi),右手(shou)向上(shang)(shang)舉(ju)過頭頂,左手(shou)自然垂下,五(wu)官(guan)清晰,下身(shen)男(nan)性特征(zheng)明顯,制作細膩,造型生動,給在封(feng)建(jian)意(yi)識(shi)濃厚的(de)(de)(de)(de)北宋時(shi)代(dai)興建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)富(fu)順(shun)文(wen)(wen)廟(miao)披上(shang)(shang)了神(shen)秘色彩。這個被列為“巴蜀之謎(mi)”的(de)(de)(de)(de)發(fa)現,引起學(xue)術(shu)界(jie)和新聞(wen)媒體的(de)(de)(de)(de)極大(da)(da)關注和震驚,新華社、中(zhong)央電視(shi)(shi)(shi)臺(tai)、《四(si)川日報(bao)》、《華西都(dou)市報(bao)》、四(si)川電視(shi)(shi)(shi)臺(tai)和各(ge)省市電視(shi)(shi)(shi)臺(tai)、各(ge)大(da)(da)晚報(bao)以(yi)及(ji)海外媒體、互(hu)聯網等紛(fen)紛(fen)加以(yi)報(bao)道。不(bu)少專家學(xue)者對此十分感興趣(qu),有(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)人迷惑不(bu)解(jie)(jie),有(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)進行探索研究,紛(fen)紛(fen)發(fa)表文(wen)(wen)章,欲解(jie)(jie)這個謎(mi)團。
