竹溪寺塬名小西天寺,建于明永歷年間,為最早創建的寺院。因臨竹溪而改名為竹溪寺,,庇鄰體育公園與忠烈祠。竹溪寺歷經多次整修,現貌為中西合璧,與塬貌大不相同;屋頂采宮殿式,大門則為西式的落地窗,造型特殊,寺貌宏偉不凡。正殿是大雄寶殿,供奉釋迦牟尼佛;后殿為觀音殿,左右羅列十八羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像。

基本介紹

佛教寺(si)院竹溪寺(si)曾為(wei)清代臺灣佛教三(san)大(da)名(ming)剎之一。清初至民國初年(nian),該寺(si)為(wei)臺灣佛教徒崇仰的中心,有重(zhong)要影響(xiang)。竹溪寺(si)前臨溪流(liu),沿畔幽(you)篁成蔭。三(san)川門(men)、拜殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、主(zhu)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)與后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)均為(wei)三(san)層樓,屋頂采(cai)歇山(shan)重(zhong)詹的宮殿(dian)(dian)(dian)布局,飾有斗(dou)栱、彩繪、雀(que)替(ti)、重(zhong)詹等華麗雕琢,兩(liang)側還有鐘鼓樓及(ji)禪房,內部采(cai)西式結(jie)構,大(da)門(men)則為(wei)落地窗,外(wai)觀(guan)呈中西合璧(bi),白墻綠瓦佇立(li)于溪谷低地,形勢(shi)壯闊(kuo)雄(xiong)(xiong)偉,僅存山(shan)門(men)為(wei)昔日舊構,燕脊重(zhong)詹,紅磚黑瓦、鏤空(kong)雕花,上書“竹溪古(gu)寺(si)”,顯得格外(wai)古(gu)樸。正(zheng)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)是大(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),供奉釋迦牟(mou)尼佛;后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)觀(guan)音殿(dian)(dian)(dian),左右羅列(lie)十八羅漢(han),旁祀媽祖、關帝神像;兩(liang)尊白象雄(xiong)(xiong)踞拜殿(dian)(dian)(dian)前左右兩(liang)側,益增(zeng)禪林氣息。竹溪寺(si)歷史悠(you)久,寺(si)內題(ti)詩、聯句和匾額相(xiang)當多,大(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內所(suo)懸“了然世界”,名(ming)列(lie)府城(cheng)三(san)大(da)名(ming)匾,頗富禪意。

臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)省古(gu)老的(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院。位于(yu)臺(tai)(tai)南市區。創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代眾說(shuo)紛(fen)紜,一(yi)(yi)說(shuo)建(jian)(jian)于(yu)明(ming)·永歷(li)(li)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1661),或說(shuo)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末、十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初;一(yi)(yi)說(shuo)清(qing)·康(kang)(kang)熙(xi)二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1683所(suo)(suo)(suo)建(jian)(jian),或說(shuo)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)。初名小(xiao)西(xi)(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),以寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁綠竹(zhu)(zhu)茂密,林中溪(xi)(xi)(xi)流(liu)激湍,故又名竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)。后(hou)遭風雨侵蝕,堂宇陳腐不(bu)堪(kan),經清(qing)·乾隆(long)、嘉慶、光緒(xu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間的(de)(de)三(san)(san)度維(wei)修(xiu),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)貌煥然一(yi)(yi)新;復經民初以來歷(li)(li)代住持的(de)(de)增建(jian)(jian),遂具今日規模。本寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)與開元、法(fa)華(hua)二(er)(er)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)末至(zhi)民初,全(quan)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)佛教的(de)(de)大(da)(da)本營。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)原名小(xiao)西(xi)(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),因臨竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)而改名為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),位在巿(fu)區南側,建(jian)(jian)于(yu)明(ming)永歷(li)(li)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷(li)(li)經多次(ci)整修(xiu),現貌為(wei)(wei)中西(xi)(xi)合(he)璧,與原貌大(da)(da)不(bu)相同;屋頂采宮(gong)殿(dian)式(shi),大(da)(da)門為(wei)(wei)西(xi)(xi)式(shi)落地窗,造型特別。正殿(dian)大(da)(da)雄寶殿(dian),供奉釋迦(jia)牟尼佛;后(hou)殿(dian)為(wei)(wei)觀音,羅列(lie)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)羅漢,旁祀(si)媽祖、關帝神(shen)像(xiang)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷(li)(li)史悠(you)久。值得前往觀覽。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)潺潺流(liu)過,上(shang)有吊(diao)橋連對岸(an),溪(xi)(xi)(xi)畔(pan)繁花茂盛,竹(zhu)(zhu)林蒼翠,頗(po)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)幽(you)。臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)較早的(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院。永歷(li)(li)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)七(qi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)即清(qing)·康(kang)(kang)熙(xi)二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi) 二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1683)鄭(zheng)成功裔(yi)孫(sun)鄭(zheng)克塽(shuang)降清(qing),經設一(yi)(yi)府(fu)(fu)三(san)(san)縣,府(fu)(fu)名臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)府(fu)(fu),縣為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)、鳳(feng)山(shan)及(ji)諸羅等三(san)(san)縣。康(kang)(kang)熙(xi)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)府(fu)(fu)第(di)二(er)(er)任知(zhi)府(fu)(fu)吳國(guo)柱倡議于(yu)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁建(jian)(jian)書院,士庶輦石(shi)輸材,諭禁不(bu)能止,稱為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)書院,經塑肖像(xiang)祀(si)焉。此據清(qing)領(ling)(ling)后(hou)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),即康(kang)(kang)熙(xi)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)較早纂修(xiu)《臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)府(fu)(fu)志》有所(suo)(suo)(suo)記(ji)載。該志對清(qing)領(ling)(ling)后(hou)創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)(jian)之各寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代均有記(ji)述(shu),竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)則未記(ji),似非在清(qing)領(ling)(ling)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內新建(jian)(jian),因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代已久,修(xiu)志時已無法(fa)查(cha)考,或未便(bian)明(ming)記(ji)所(suo)(suo)(suo)致,其創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代即可證實(shi)系建(jian)(jian)自明(ming)鄭(zheng)時期。又據三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)第(di)二(er)(er)任臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)府(fu)(fu)同知(zhi)齊體物(wu)所(suo)(suo)(suo)詠竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)詩,有梵宮(gong)偏得占(zhan)(zhan)名山(shan),屼作蠻(man)州第(di)一(yi)(yi)觀之句,其含義為(wei)(wei)此寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)占(zhan)(zhan)得名山(shan)且(qie)為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)島(dao)之第(di)一(yi)(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院。

建筑設計

全(quan)臺(tai)灣看起來(lai),要(yao)以(yi)竹溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)較最大(da)(da),寺(si)(si)(si)內(nei)(nei)主(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)為(wei)(wei)觀(guan)音菩(pu)薩,寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)布局大(da)(da)多是(shi)正面中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路為(wei)(wei)山門(men),山門(men)內(nei)(nei)左右分別為(wei)(wei)鐘樓(lou)(lou)、鼓樓(lou)(lou),正面是(shi)天(tian)王殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)(nei)有(you)四大(da)(da)金(jin)剛(gang)塑(su)像(xiang),后(hou)(hou)面依次為(wei)(wei)大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)和藏(zang)經樓(lou)(lou),僧房、齋堂(tang)則分列正中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路左右兩(liang)(liang)(liang)側。大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)是(shi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)重(zhong)要(yao)、龐大(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu),大(da)(da)雄(xiong)即為(wei)(wei)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)祖(zu)(zu)釋(shi)加(jia)牟尼。隋唐以(yi)前(qian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si),一(yi)(yi)(yi)般(ban)在寺(si)(si)(si)前(qian)或宅院(yuan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心造塔,隋唐以(yi)后(hou)(hou),佛(fo)(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)普遍代替了佛(fo)(fo)(fo)塔,寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)內(nei)(nei)大(da)(da)都(dou)(dou)另辟塔院(yuan)。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)不(bu)論(lun)規(gui)模(mo)地點,其(qi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)布局是(shi)有(you)一(yi)(yi)(yi)定規(gui)律的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de):平面方(fang)形,以(yi)山門(men)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)——天(tian)王殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)——大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)——本寺(si)(si)(si)主(zhu)供菩(pu)薩殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)——法堂(tang)——藏(zang)經樓(lou)(lou)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)條南北縱深(shen)軸(zhou)線來(lai)組織空間(jian),對稱穩重(zhong)且(qie)整飭(chi)嚴(yan)謹。沿(yan)著(zhu)(zhu)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)條中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)軸(zhou)線,前(qian)后(hou)(hou)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)起承轉合(he),宛若一(yi)(yi)(yi)曲(qu)前(qian)呼后(hou)(hou)應、氣韻(yun)生動(dong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)樂章。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)之美(mei)就響應在群山、松柏(bo)、流水、殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)落(luo)與亭(ting)廊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)相互(hu)呼應之間(jian),含蓄溫蘊(yun),展示(shi)出組合(he)變(bian)幻所(suo)(suo)賦予的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)和諧、寧(ning)靜及(ji)韻(yun)味。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)古人在建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)格局上有(you)很深(shen)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)陰陽宇宙觀(guan)和崇尚(shang)對稱、秩序(xu)、穩定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)審美(mei)心理。因此中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)融合(he)了中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)特(te)有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)祭祀祖(zu)(zu)宗(zong)(zong)、天(tian)地的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)功(gong)能。此外(wai)(wai),園(yuan)林式(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)格局的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)在中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)也較普遍。這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)種藝(yi)術(shu)格局使中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)既有(you)典雅(ya)莊(zhuang)重(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)(miao)堂(tang)氣氛,又極(ji)富自(zi)然情趣(qu),且(qie)意境深(shen)遠。寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)全(quan)國(guo)(guo)(guo)各(ge)地比比皆是(shi),不(bu)論(lun)是(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)規(gui)模(mo),還是(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)藝(yi)術(shu)都(dou)(dou)是(shi)被中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外(wai)(wai)旅游者所(suo)(suo)稱絕(jue)(jue)(jue)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。天(tian)王殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)側是(shi)四大(da)(da)天(tian)王彩塑(su)像(xiang),高各(ge)八米(mi),個(ge)(ge)(ge)個(ge)(ge)(ge)身披(pi)重(zhong)甲。其(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)(ge)(ge)形態(tai)威武,兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)(ge)(ge)神(shen)(shen)色和善(shan),俗稱四大(da)(da)金(jin)剛(gang)。看這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)座門(men)樓(lou)(lou),它高達20米(mi),寬4.5米(mi),全(quan)系青、白崗石(shi)砌疊而成的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)三層穹形頂(ding)(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尖(jian)拱門(men),分外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、內(nei)(nei)三層,在外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)層的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)上部都(dou)(dou)有(you)青石(shi)作(zuo)(zuo)圓形穹頂(ding)(ding),有(you)著(zhu)(zhu)和我國(guo)(guo)(guo)古建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)“藻井”相類似的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)石(shi)構圖案,頂(ding)(ding)蓋采用中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)傳統的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)蓮花圖案,門(men)樓(lou)(lou)正額橫嵌阿拉伯(bo)文浮雕石(shi)刻,寫(xie)道:“真主(zhu)秉公(gong)作(zuo)(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕(jue)(jue)(jue)無(wu)應受崇拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de);眾天(tian)神(shen)(shen)和一(yi)(yi)(yi)般(ban)學(xue)者,也這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)樣(yang)作(zuo)(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕(jue)(jue)(jue)無(wu)應受崇拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),他是(shi)萬能的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)至(zhi)睿(rui)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)喜(xi)悅的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗(zong)(zong)教,石(shi)刻,上面記載著(zhu)(zhu)竹溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)創建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)年代重(zhong)修時間(jian)以(yi)及(ji)較早的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)名稱,門(men)樓(lou)(lou)頂(ding)(ding)層是(shi)望月(yue)臺(tai),決定起齋日(ri)期的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)地方(fang),臺(tai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)周圍三面建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)回字形的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)垛(duo)子,像(xiang)城堞一(yi)(yi)(yi)樣(yang),別有(you)風致,平臺(tai)上原來(lai)還有(you)望月(yue)樓(lou)(lou)和尖(jian)塔,清朝初(chu)年倒坍了。

竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)依山(shan)傍(bang)水(shui),松柏長青(qing),花草(cao)遍地,山(shan)後水(shui)庫截河十(shi)(shi)幾里(li),碧波粼粼,涵照萬象(xiang)。進了(le)山(shan)門(men),拾級而升,各(ge)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)門(men)前的(de)(de)(de)(de)漢(han)白(bai)玉石(shi)獅(shi)威猛無(wu)比(bi),正殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)(nei)供(gong)奉(feng)威儀莊(zhuang)(zhuang)嚴的(de)(de)(de)(de)貼金諸佛(fo)菩薩尊(zun)者(zhe)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),端莊(zhuang)(zhuang)肅穆。偏殿(dian)(dian)(dian)供(gong)藥(yao)(yao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)佛(fo)、地藏(zang)菩請看這(zhe)里(li)是(shi)寺(si)內(nei)(nei)的(de)(de)(de)(de)宣禮塔(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)塔(ta)址,當年(nian),宣禮塔(ta)塔(ta)形如柱,高(gao)聳奇(qi)偉,殿(dian)(dian)(dian)正中(zhong),佛(fo)祖釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)踞蓮花座之上,妙相莊(zhuang)(zhuang)嚴,頷(han)首(shou)俯視,令人敬畏。這(zhe)是(shi)中(zhong)國(guo)較高(gao)大(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)木雕(diao)(diao)坐式(shi)佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)之一。釋(shi)(shi)祖像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)后壁為(wei)(wei)《五十(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)參》彩繪群塑(su),共有姿態(tai)各(ge)異的(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)小佛(fo)教塑(su)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)一百(bai)五十(shi)(shi)尊(zun),表現(xian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)是(shi)佛(fo)經(jing)中(zhong)財(cai)童(tong)子歷(li)經(jing)磨難參拜(bai)五十(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)位《善知識》名(ming)師(shi),終于得證(zheng)佛(fo)果(guo) 的(de)(de)(de)(de)故(gu)事。這(zhe)座內(nei)(nei)容豐富形象(xiang)生動的(de)(de)(de)(de)壁塑(su)的(de)(de)(de)(de)主像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)足(zu)踏鰲背(bei),手(shou)執凈瓶的(de)(de)(de)(de)觀世音菩薩,她意態(tai)瀟灑,祥和地接受著善財(cai)童(tong)子的(de)(de)(de)(de)參拜(bai)。釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼造(zao)(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)靈隱(yin)寺(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)原釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),這(zhe)座佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)在重(zhong)(zhong)修寺(si)宇時,由浙江(jiang)美(mei)術學院(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)雕(diao)(diao)塑(su)家和民間藝人們采用(yong)唐代禪宗佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)為(wei)(wei)藍(lan)本(ben)共同精心設計的(de)(de)(de)(de)。佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)十(shi)(shi)九點六米,比(bi)原先的(de)(de)(de)(de)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)造(zao)(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)一倍多,用(yong)近(jin)百(bai)塊香樟木雕(diao)(diao)成(cheng)(cheng)。佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)造(zao)(zao)型端莊(zhuang)(zhuang)凝重(zhong)(zhong),低眉細目,氣(qi)韶生動,極度具風采。藥(yao)(yao)師(shi)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)重(zhong)(zhong)建(jian)(jian),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)中(zhong)供(gong)奉(feng)藥(yao)(yao)師(shi)佛(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)及(ji)日天(tian)、月天(tian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)左,有重(zhong)(zhong)建(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)羅漢(han)堂(tang),陳(chen)列五百(bai)羅漢(han)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)線刻石(shi)。寺(si)院(yuan)內(nei)(nei)還有配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)四座立于院(yuan)落兩側(ce),布(bu)局嚴謹,排(pai)列有序,形成(cheng)(cheng)一組完整的(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)院(yuan)建(jian)(jian)筑群。第(di)三(san)(san)進院(yuan)為(wei)(wei)藏(zang)經(jing)樓,該樓當時收藏(zang)明、清(qing)版本(ben)經(jing)卷720余部,以及(ji)大(da)(da)量珍貴文物。竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)自(zi)建(jian)(jian)成(cheng)(cheng)、開光以來,寺(si)內(nei)(nei)香火不斷,每逢農歷(li)四月初八廟(miao)會之日,寺(si)內(nei)(nei)大(da)(da)開道場,寺(si)外搭臺唱戲,焚香進供(gong)者(zhe)絡繹不絕,前來逛(guang)廟(miao)者(zhe)人山(shan)人海,三(san)(san)天(tian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)會,熱鬧非常。每逢農歷(li),還舉行(xing)盂蘭盆(pen)會儀式(shi),備百(bai)味飲食(shi),供(gong)養十(shi)(shi)方僧眾,放焰口,廟(miao)里(li)廟(miao)外,非常隆重(zhong)(zhong)。

建設沿革

寺(si)(si)(si)內(nei)歷(li)史永歷(li)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)1651沈光文(wen)遇(yu)(yu)颶風(feng)漂流至臺灣(wan),初播中國文(wen)化(hua)。十(shi)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)延王鄭成(cheng)功(gong)率軍渡臺驅逐紅(hong)毛為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)復(fu)明基地,經(jing)置(zhi)東(dong)都,設(she)承(cheng)天府并天興(xing)、萬年(nian)(nian)(nian)兩縣治(zhi)理(li)。十(shi)八(ba)(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)嗣王鄭經(jing) 放棄金、廈(sha)回(hui)臺,改(gai)東(dong)都為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)東(dong)寧,升天興(xing)、萬年(nian)(nian)(nian)二(er)(er)縣為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)二(er)(er)州(zhou)(zhou),裁承(cheng)天府。是時(shi)(shi)經(jing)州(zhou)(zhou)守倡(chang)建(jian)(jian)梵宮于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)南郊(jiao)南溪(xi)之(zhi)旁,顏(yan)曰(yue)小西天。此(ci)(ci)時(shi)(shi)有沈光文(wen)所詠(yong)詩題︰州(zhou)(zhou)守新(xin)構僧舍于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)南溪(xi),人(ren)(ren)(ren)多(duo)往游,余未及也。可以證(zheng)明。沈氏(shi)窗蝴(hu)詩不(bu)(bu)久因(yin)寓(yu)諷(feng)鄭經(jing)之(zhi)賦被才,幾罹不(bu)(bu)測,經(jing)變服入山為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)僧,故小西天寺(si)(si)(si)系在(zai)二(er)(er)縣升州(zhou)(zhou)之(zhi)后,沈氏(shi)逃禪之(zhi)前,亦即(ji)在(zai)十(shi)八(ba)(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)末,或(huo)十(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)初所建(jian)(jian),乃臺島較早興(xing)建(jian)(jian)之(zhi)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。嗣因(yin)南溪(xi)沿畔(pan)綠竹(zhu)成(cheng)蔭,風(feng)景宜人(ren)(ren)(ren),另名(ming)竹(zhu)溪(xi),因(yin)是寺(si)(si)(si)名(ming)亦隨之(zhi)稱為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)。臺灣(wan)史學(xue)家(jia)盧嘉(jia)興(xing)考(kao)證(zheng),竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)臺灣(wan)第(di)一(yi)座寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。據其(qi)考(kao)正(zheng)結果(guo),臺灣(wan)建(jian)(jian)于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)明朝(chao)時(shi)(shi)期的(de)三(san)座佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)中,較早的(de)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si),次為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)彌陀寺(si)(si)(si),再次為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)龍(long)湖巖。竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)因(yin)年(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)久遠(yuan),于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)乾隆五十(shi)四年(nian)(nian)(nian)1789經(jing)里人(ren)(ren)(ren)蔡和(he)生倡(chang)修,嘉(jia)慶元年(nian)(nian)(nian)1796黃鐘岳(yue)等再募捐重修,嘉(jia)慶二(er)(er)十(shi)三(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)董事劉延貴(gui)復(fu)修,光緒十(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)1886候通判(pan)鮑復(fu)康再重修一(yi)次。日(ri)據時(shi)(shi)代(dai)上官玄、林神等人(ren)(ren)(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)宇破損,殿(dian)閣荒(huang)無,決心(xin)聘(pin)一(yi)住(zhu)持整頓(dun)。日(ri)據時(shi)(shi)代(dai)上官玄、林神等人(ren)(ren)(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)宇破損,殿(dian)閣荒(huang)蕪,決心(xin)聘(pin)一(yi)住(zhu)持整頓(dun)。竹(zhu)溪(xi)民間(jian)相(xiang)傳,人(ren)(ren)(ren)死(si)后魂魄要先到(dao)寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)報到(dao),接受初審(shen),根據其(qi)生前善惡功(gong)過,決定上天堂或(huo)下(xia)地獄,因(yin)此(ci)(ci)對寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)里的(de)祖(zu)師爺(ye)甚為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)敬(jing)畏;由于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)祖(zu)師爺(ye)對于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)轄(xia)區百姓行(xing)止(zhi)瞭若指掌(zhang),遇(yu)(yu)有親人(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)蹤不(bu)(bu)明,每(mei)(mei)每(mei)(mei)到(dao)此(ci)(ci)求(qiu)簽(qian)問卜。每(mei)(mei)年(nian)(nian)(nian)農歷(li)3月3日(ri)祖(zu)師爺(ye)誕(dan)辰,祖(zu)師爺(ye)按(an)例于(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)誕(dan)辰前夜行(xing)轄(xia)境(jing),探訪(fang)民情(qing)。竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)每(mei)(mei)年(nian)(nian)(nian)度熱鬧的(de)就是廟(miao)(miao)(miao)會。

每(mei)當(dang)到(dao)了(le)竹溪(xi)寺(si)(si)院,感(gan)受到(dao)一(yi)份超(chao)塵的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清凈(jing)與(yu)安(an)(an)(an)祥,生(sheng)起了(le)一(yi)份莊嚴與(yu)寧(ning)靜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心,令人(ren)(ren)自然而(er)(er)(er)然的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)想(xiang)進入(ru)大(da)(da)殿,禮(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)三拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai),表(biao)(biao)達(da)對(dui)諸佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩薩的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)禮(li)敬、感(gan)恩(en),而(er)(er)(er)從(cong)柔軟、徐緩而(er)(er)(er)安(an)(an)(an)詳的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)彎腰(yao)(yao)禮(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)動(dong)作里,感(gan)受到(dao)禮(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)者的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)安(an)(an)(an)定(ding)(ding)與(yu)謙(qian)卑。不(bu)解佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren),認為(wei)(wei)拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)迷信(xin)、崇拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)偶像。事實上,佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)是(shi)透過拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)作,禮(li)敬佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩薩,表(biao)(biao)達(da)對(dui)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、法、僧三寶(bao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尊敬與(yu)感(gan)恩(en);同(tong)時(shi)(shi),拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也可同(tong)時(shi)(shi)懺悔自己所(suo)造的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡業。所(suo)以(yi),拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)是(shi)每(mei)一(yi)位佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)徒首先要(yao)學習的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教(jiao)儀式(shi)。拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)作,是(shi)心誠(cheng)意敬的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)將雙(shuang)手(shou)合掌,低頭(tou)彎腰(yao)(yao),五(wu)體投地-兩(liang)肘兩(liang)膝以(yi)及額頭(tou)著地,完成頭(tou)面接(jie)觸(chu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)足的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)較高敬禮(li),故又(you)稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)頂禮(li)。彎腰(yao)(yao)低頭(tou)表(biao)(biao)示謙(qian)虛,承認自己的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)福(fu)(fu)德(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)不(bu)足,而(er)(er)(er)當(dang)五(wu)體投地,接(jie)觸(chu)到(dao)大(da)(da)地時(shi)(shi),則(ze)(ze)令人(ren)(ren)感(gan)動(dong)于大(da)(da)地孕育眾(zhong)生(sheng),負載眾(zhong)生(sheng),涵容一(yi)切的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精神,所(suo)以(yi),能懷(huai)著感(gan)恩(en)心,以(yi)飲(yin)水思源的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心,感(gan)謝(xie)大(da)(da)地,感(gan)謝(xie)一(yi)切眾(zhong)生(sheng)。而(er)(er)(er)從(cong)拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動(dong)作,讓人(ren)(ren)連想(xiang)到(dao),當(dang)人(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)內(nei)心充(chong)滿了(le)禮(li)敬、感(gan)恩(en)與(yu)懺悔時(shi)(shi),也有如(ru)稻穗一(yi)樣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),因成熟而(er)(er)(er)下垂(chui);而(er)(er)(er)拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)意義(yi),也就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)如(ru)此了(le)。信(xin)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)越來越多(duo),每(mei)年春節及農歷初一(yi)、十(shi)五(wu)等(deng)日期,廣大(da)(da)民眾(zhong)有到(dao)竹溪(xi)燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)禮(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、祈福(fu)(fu)求安(an)(an)(an)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)習慣。旅游途中(zhong)參觀名寺(si)(si)大(da)(da)剎,燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也是(shi)很(hen)正常的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),但是(shi),很(hen)多(duo)人(ren)(ren)并不(bu)知道(dao)如(ru)何燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),為(wei)(wei)使十(shi)方善信(xin)種植福(fu)(fu)田、廣獲法益、正善正行,以(yi)滿所(suo)愿,以(yi)祈共沾法益。寺(si)(si)廟建(jian)筑都有許多(duo)道(dao)門(men),從(cong)哪一(yi)道(dao)門(men)進入(ru)都有講(jiang)究(jiu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。據(ju)說只(zhi)有開了(le)光的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)(si)廟才(cai)有資格(ge)修十(shi)三道(dao)門(men)。正中(zhong)間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)三道(dao)門(men),才(cai)是(shi)供人(ren)(ren)出入(ru)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。普通(tong)游客,進門(men)只(zhi)能走右(you)邊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)那道(dao)門(men),中(zhong)間那道(dao)門(men)叫(jiao)空門(men),只(zhi)有出家人(ren)(ren)才(cai)可以(yi)出入(ru)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。進門(men)時(shi)(shi),男客先邁左腳(jiao),女客先邁右(you)腳(jiao),而(er)(er)(er)且這(zhe)步子,需邁得越大(da)(da)越好(hao)。同(tong)時(shi)(shi)進廟內(nei)殿宇時(shi)(shi)應遵循左門(men)進右(you)門(men)出的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)原則(ze)(ze)。注意:一(yi)定(ding)(ding)不(bu)能踩踏(ta)在(zai)門(men)檻(jian)(jian)(據(ju)說門(men)檻(jian)(jian)代表(biao)(biao)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)祖的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)肩(jian)膀(bang),當(dang)然不(bu)能踩踏(ta))之上。而(er)(er)(er)登(deng)臨(lin)第(di)1和(he)第(di)6個(ge)臺階(jie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)行禮(li)意味著一(yi)心一(yi)意和(he)六六大(da)(da)順的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)含義(yi)。禮(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)前,先要(yao)凈(jing)(洗)手(shou)。香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)不(bu)能叫(jiao)買(mai)而(er)(er)(er)應該叫(jiao)請。普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)敬香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)要(yao)用左手(shou)持(據(ju)說右(you)手(shou)不(bu)凈(jing),普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)殺生(sheng)大(da)(da)多(duo)用右(you)手(shou),三炷為(wei)(wei)自己祈福(fu)(fu),六炷為(wei)(wei)兩(liang)輩人(ren)(ren)祈福(fu)(fu),九炷為(wei)(wei)三代人(ren)(ren)祈福(fu)(fu)。而(er)(er)(er)十(shi)三是(shi)一(yi)個(ge)極致,十(shi)三炷香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)功(gong)德(de)圓滿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)。先燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)再叩頭(tou)。
