竹溪寺塬名小西天寺,建于明永歷年間,為最早創建的寺院。因臨竹溪而改名為竹溪寺,,庇鄰體育公園與忠烈祠。竹溪寺歷經多次整修,現貌為中西合璧,與塬貌大不相同;屋頂采宮殿式,大門則為西式的落地窗,造型特殊,寺貌宏偉不凡。正殿是大雄寶殿,供奉釋迦牟尼佛;后殿為觀音殿,左右羅列十八羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像。

基本介紹

佛(fo)教寺(si)院竹溪(xi)寺(si)曾為清代臺(tai)灣(wan)佛(fo)教三(san)大名(ming)剎之一。清初至民國初年(nian),該寺(si)為臺(tai)灣(wan)佛(fo)教徒崇仰的(de)中心(xin),有重要影響。竹溪(xi)寺(si)前臨溪(xi)流,沿畔幽篁成蔭。三(san)川門、拜殿(dian)(dian)、主殿(dian)(dian)與(yu)后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)均(jun)為三(san)層(ceng)樓,屋頂采歇山(shan)重詹的(de)宮殿(dian)(dian)布局(ju),飾有斗(dou)栱(gong)、彩繪、雀替、重詹等華麗雕(diao)琢,兩(liang)側還有鐘鼓樓及禪(chan)房,內部采西式結構(gou),大門則(ze)為落地(di)窗,外(wai)觀呈中西合(he)璧,白墻綠(lv)瓦佇立于溪(xi)谷低地(di),形勢(shi)壯(zhuang)闊雄(xiong)(xiong)偉(wei),僅存山(shan)門為昔日(ri)舊構(gou),燕脊(ji)重詹,紅磚黑(hei)瓦、鏤空(kong)雕(diao)花,上書“竹溪(xi)古寺(si)”,顯得格外(wai)古樸。正殿(dian)(dian)是大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian),供奉釋迦牟尼佛(fo);后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)為觀音殿(dian)(dian),左(zuo)右羅(luo)(luo)列(lie)十八(ba)羅(luo)(luo)漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像;兩(liang)尊(zun)白象雄(xiong)(xiong)踞拜殿(dian)(dian)前左(zuo)右兩(liang)側,益增禪(chan)林氣息。竹溪(xi)寺(si)歷史悠(you)久,寺(si)內題詩(shi)、聯句和匾額相當多,大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian)內所懸“了然世界”,名(ming)列(lie)府城三(san)大名(ming)匾,頗富禪(chan)意。

臺(tai)灣省古老的寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。位于臺(tai)南市區。創建(jian)(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代眾說(shuo)(shuo)紛紜,一(yi)(yi)(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)建(jian)(jian)于明·永(yong)歷(li)十(shi)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1661),或(huo)(huo)說(shuo)(shuo)十(shi)八年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末、十(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初;一(yi)(yi)(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)清(qing)·康熙二(er)十(shi)二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1683所建(jian)(jian),或(huo)(huo)說(shuo)(shuo)三(san)(san)十(shi)二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)。初名(ming)(ming)小(xiao)西(xi)天(tian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),以(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁(pang)綠(lv)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)茂密(mi),林中溪(xi)(xi)(xi)流激湍,故又(you)名(ming)(ming)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)。后遭風雨(yu)侵蝕,堂宇陳腐不堪(kan),經清(qing)·乾隆、嘉慶、光緒年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)的三(san)(san)度維修(xiu),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)貌(mao)煥然一(yi)(yi)(yi)新;復經民初以(yi)來歷(li)代住持的增建(jian)(jian),遂具今日規模。本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)與(yu)開元、法華二(er)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)清(qing)末至民初,全(quan)臺(tai)灣佛教的大(da)本(ben)營。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)原名(ming)(ming)小(xiao)西(xi)天(tian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),因臨(lin)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)而改名(ming)(ming)為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),位在(zai)巿區南側,建(jian)(jian)于明永(yong)歷(li)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷(li)經多次整修(xiu),現(xian)貌(mao)為(wei)中西(xi)合璧,與(yu)原貌(mao)大(da)不相同(tong);屋頂(ding)采宮殿(dian)式(shi),大(da)門為(wei)西(xi)式(shi)落(luo)地窗,造型特別(bie)。正殿(dian)大(da)雄寶殿(dian),供奉(feng)釋迦牟尼(ni)佛;后殿(dian)為(wei)觀音,羅列十(shi)八羅漢,旁(pang)祀媽(ma)祖、關帝神像。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)歷(li)史悠久。值得前往觀覽。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)潺(chan)潺(chan)流過,上有吊橋連對岸,溪(xi)(xi)(xi)畔繁花茂盛,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)林蒼翠,頗為(wei)清(qing)幽。臺(tai)灣較(jiao)早的寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。永(yong)歷(li)三(san)(san)十(shi)七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)即清(qing)·康熙二(er)十(shi) 二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1683)鄭(zheng)(zheng)成功(gong)裔孫(sun)鄭(zheng)(zheng)克塽降清(qing),經設一(yi)(yi)(yi)府三(san)(san)縣(xian)(xian),府名(ming)(ming)臺(tai)灣府,縣(xian)(xian)為(wei)臺(tai)灣、鳳(feng)山(shan)及諸羅等(deng)三(san)(san)縣(xian)(xian)。康熙三(san)(san)十(shi)二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)臺(tai)灣府第(di)(di)二(er)任知府吳國柱倡議于寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)旁(pang)建(jian)(jian)書院(yuan),士(shi)庶輦(nian)石(shi)輸(shu)材,諭禁不能止(zhi),稱為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)書院(yuan),經塑肖像祀焉。此據清(qing)領后十(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),即康熙三(san)(san)十(shi)三(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)較(jiao)早纂(zuan)修(xiu)《臺(tai)灣府志》有所記載(zai)。該志對清(qing)領后創建(jian)(jian)之各寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代均有記述,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)則(ze)未記,似非在(zai)清(qing)領十(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內新建(jian)(jian),因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代已(yi)久,修(xiu)志時已(yi)無法查考,或(huo)(huo)未便明記所致,其(qi)創建(jian)(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代即可證實系建(jian)(jian)自明鄭(zheng)(zheng)時期。又(you)據三(san)(san)十(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)第(di)(di)二(er)任臺(tai)灣府同(tong)知齊體物所詠竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)詩,有梵(fan)宮偏得占名(ming)(ming)山(shan),屼(wu)作蠻州第(di)(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)觀之句,其(qi)含義為(wei)此寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)占得名(ming)(ming)山(shan)且(qie)為(wei)臺(tai)島之第(di)(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。

建筑設計

全(quan)臺灣看起來(lai),要以竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)殿(dian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)較最大(da),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)內(nei)(nei)主(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)為(wei)(wei)(wei)觀(guan)音菩(pu)薩,寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟的(de)(de)(de)(de)布局大(da)多是(shi)(shi)正(zheng)面(mian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路為(wei)(wei)(wei)山(shan)門,山(shan)門內(nei)(nei)左右分別(bie)(bie)為(wei)(wei)(wei)鐘(zhong)樓(lou)、鼓樓(lou),正(zheng)面(mian)是(shi)(shi)天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian),殿(dian)內(nei)(nei)有(you)四大(da)金剛塑像(xiang),后(hou)(hou)面(mian)依次(ci)為(wei)(wei)(wei)大(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)和藏(zang)經樓(lou),僧(seng)房、齋堂(tang)則(ze)分列正(zheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路左右兩(liang)(liang)側(ce)。大(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)是(shi)(shi)佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)重(zhong)要、龐大(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu),大(da)雄即為(wei)(wei)(wei)佛(fo)祖釋加牟尼。隋唐以前的(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),一(yi)般在(zai)(zai)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)前或宅院中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心造塔(ta)(ta),隋唐以后(hou)(hou),佛(fo)殿(dian)普遍代(dai)替了(le)佛(fo)塔(ta)(ta),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟內(nei)(nei)大(da)都另辟塔(ta)(ta)院。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)不論(lun)(lun)規(gui)模(mo)地點,其建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)布局是(shi)(shi)有(you)一(yi)定規(gui)律的(de)(de)(de)(de):平面(mian)方(fang)形(xing),以山(shan)門殿(dian)——天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian)——大(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)——本寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)主(zhu)(zhu)供菩(pu)薩殿(dian)——法堂(tang)——藏(zang)經樓(lou)這(zhe)(zhe)條(tiao)南北(bei)縱深(shen)軸(zhou)線來(lai)組(zu)織空間(jian),對稱穩重(zhong)且(qie)整飭(chi)嚴謹。沿著這(zhe)(zhe)條(tiao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)軸(zhou)線,前后(hou)(hou)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)起承轉合(he),宛(wan)若(ruo)一(yi)曲前呼后(hou)(hou)應、氣(qi)韻生動的(de)(de)(de)(de)樂(le)章。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟的(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)之美就響(xiang)應在(zai)(zai)群山(shan)、松柏、流水、殿(dian)落與亭廊的(de)(de)(de)(de)相互呼應之間(jian),含(han)蓄溫蘊,展示出組(zu)合(he)變(bian)幻(huan)所(suo)賦予的(de)(de)(de)(de)和諧(xie)、寧靜及(ji)韻味。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)古人(ren)在(zai)(zai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)格(ge)局上(shang)(shang)有(you)很深(shen)的(de)(de)(de)(de)陰陽宇(yu)宙(zhou)觀(guan)和崇(chong)(chong)(chong)尚對稱、秩序、穩定的(de)(de)(de)(de)審(shen)美心理。因此中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)融合(he)了(le)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)特有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)祭祀祖宗、天(tian)(tian)(tian)地的(de)(de)(de)(de)功能(neng)。此外(wai),園(yuan)林(lin)式建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)格(ge)局的(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)在(zai)(zai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)也(ye)較普遍。這(zhe)(zhe)兩(liang)(liang)種藝術(shu)格(ge)局使中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院既有(you)典雅莊(zhuang)重(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)廟堂(tang)氣(qi)氛,又極富自然情趣(qu),且(qie)意境深(shen)遠。寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)全(quan)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)各地比比皆是(shi)(shi),不論(lun)(lun)是(shi)(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)規(gui)模(mo),還是(shi)(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)藝術(shu)都是(shi)(shi)被中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外(wai)旅(lv)游者所(suo)稱絕的(de)(de)(de)(de)。天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian)兩(liang)(liang)側(ce)是(shi)(shi)四大(da)天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)彩塑像(xiang),高(gao)各八(ba)米,個(ge)個(ge)身披重(zhong)甲。其中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)個(ge)形(xing)態(tai)威武(wu),兩(liang)(liang)個(ge)神色和善,俗稱四大(da)金剛。看這(zhe)(zhe)座(zuo)門樓(lou),它高(gao)達20米,寬4.5米,全(quan)系青、白崗石(shi)(shi)(shi)砌疊(die)而成的(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)一(yi)個(ge)三(san)層(ceng)穹形(xing)頂的(de)(de)(de)(de)尖拱門,分外(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、內(nei)(nei)三(san)層(ceng),在(zai)(zai)外(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)層(ceng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)上(shang)(shang)部都有(you)青石(shi)(shi)(shi)作(zuo)圓形(xing)穹頂,有(you)著和我(wo)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)古建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)“藻(zao)井”相類(lei)似的(de)(de)(de)(de)石(shi)(shi)(shi)構圖(tu)案(an),頂蓋采用中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)(guo)傳統的(de)(de)(de)(de)蓮花(hua)圖(tu)案(an),門樓(lou)正(zheng)額橫嵌阿拉伯文浮雕石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻,寫道:“真主(zhu)(zhu)秉公作(zuo)證,除他外(wai),絕無應受(shou)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)拜(bai)的(de)(de)(de)(de);眾天(tian)(tian)(tian)神和一(yi)般學者,也(ye)這(zhe)(zhe)樣(yang)作(zuo)證,除他外(wai),絕無應受(shou)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)拜(bai)的(de)(de)(de)(de),他是(shi)(shi)萬能(neng)的(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)至睿的(de)(de)(de)(de)所(suo)喜悅的(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教,石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻,上(shang)(shang)面(mian)記(ji)載著竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)創建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)年代(dai)重(zhong)修時間(jian)以及(ji)較早的(de)(de)(de)(de)名稱,門樓(lou)頂層(ceng)是(shi)(shi)望(wang)月(yue)臺,決定起齋日期的(de)(de)(de)(de)地方(fang),臺的(de)(de)(de)(de)周(zhou)圍三(san)面(mian)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)回字形(xing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)垛子(zi),像(xiang)城堞(die)一(yi)樣(yang),別(bie)(bie)有(you)風致(zhi),平臺上(shang)(shang)原來(lai)還有(you)望(wang)月(yue)樓(lou)和尖塔(ta)(ta),清朝初年倒坍了(le)。

竹(zhu)溪寺(si)依山(shan)傍水,松柏(bo)長青(qing),花草遍地,山(shan)後水庫截(jie)河十(shi)(shi)(shi)幾里,碧(bi)波粼粼,涵照萬象。進了山(shan)門,拾級而升(sheng),各(ge)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)門前的(de)(de)漢(han)白玉石(shi)獅(shi)威猛無比,正殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)供奉(feng)(feng)威儀莊嚴(yan)(yan)的(de)(de)貼(tie)金諸佛(fo)(fo)菩薩(sa)尊者像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),端莊肅穆。偏殿(dian)(dian)(dian)供藥(yao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)佛(fo)(fo)、地藏菩請看這(zhe)里是(shi)寺(si)內(nei)的(de)(de)宣(xuan)禮塔(ta)的(de)(de)塔(ta)址(zhi),當(dang)(dang)年,宣(xuan)禮塔(ta)塔(ta)形(xing)如(ru)柱,高聳奇偉,殿(dian)(dian)(dian)正中(zhong),佛(fo)(fo)祖釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高踞蓮花座(zuo)之(zhi)上(shang),妙相(xiang)莊嚴(yan)(yan),頷首俯(fu)視(shi),令人敬(jing)畏。這(zhe)是(shi)中(zhong)國較高大(da)的(de)(de)木雕坐式(shi)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)之(zhi)一。釋(shi)(shi)祖像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)后壁為(wei)《五十(shi)(shi)(shi)三(san)參》彩繪群(qun)塑(su),共(gong)有(you)姿(zi)態(tai)(tai)各(ge)異的(de)(de)大(da)小(xiao)佛(fo)(fo)教塑(su)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)一百(bai)五十(shi)(shi)(shi)尊,表現的(de)(de)是(shi)佛(fo)(fo)經(jing)(jing)中(zhong)財童(tong)子(zi)歷(li)經(jing)(jing)磨難參拜五十(shi)(shi)(shi)三(san)位《善知識》名師,終于(yu)得證佛(fo)(fo)果 的(de)(de)故事。這(zhe)座(zuo)內(nei)容豐(feng)富(fu)形(xing)象生動的(de)(de)壁塑(su)的(de)(de)主像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)足踏鰲背,手執凈瓶的(de)(de)觀(guan)世音菩薩(sa),她意態(tai)(tai)瀟灑,祥和地接受著善財童(tong)子(zi)的(de)(de)參拜。釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)靈(ling)隱寺(si)的(de)(de)原釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),這(zhe)座(zuo)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)在重修寺(si)宇時(shi)(shi),由浙江(jiang)美術學院(yuan)的(de)(de)雕塑(su)家和民間(jian)藝人們采(cai)用(yong)唐代禪宗佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)為(wei)藍本(ben)共(gong)同精心設(she)計的(de)(de)。佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高十(shi)(shi)(shi)九點六(liu)米,比原先的(de)(de)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高一倍多(duo),用(yong)近百(bai)塊香樟木雕成。佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)造(zao)型端莊凝(ning)重,低眉細目,氣(qi)韶生動,極度(du)具風采(cai)。藥(yao)師殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)重建(jian)(jian),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)中(zhong)供奉(feng)(feng)藥(yao)師佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)及日天(tian)、月天(tian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)左,有(you)重建(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)羅漢(han)堂,陳列五百(bai)羅漢(han)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)線刻石(shi)。寺(si)院(yuan)內(nei)還有(you)配(pei)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)四(si)座(zuo)立于(yu)院(yuan)落兩側,布局嚴(yan)(yan)謹,排(pai)列有(you)序,形(xing)成一組完整的(de)(de)寺(si)院(yuan)建(jian)(jian)筑群(qun)。第三(san)進院(yuan)為(wei)藏經(jing)(jing)樓,該樓當(dang)(dang)時(shi)(shi)收(shou)藏明、清版(ban)本(ben)經(jing)(jing)卷720余部(bu),以(yi)(yi)及大(da)量珍貴文物(wu)。竹(zhu)溪寺(si)自建(jian)(jian)成、開光以(yi)(yi)來,寺(si)內(nei)香火不斷,每逢(feng)農歷(li)四(si)月初八廟會之(zhi)日,寺(si)內(nei)大(da)開道場,寺(si)外(wai)搭臺(tai)唱戲(xi),焚香進供者絡繹不絕(jue),前來逛(guang)廟者人山(shan)人海,三(san)天(tian)的(de)(de)廟會,熱鬧非(fei)常。每逢(feng)農歷(li),還舉行盂蘭盆會儀式(shi),備百(bai)味飲食(shi),供養十(shi)(shi)(shi)方僧眾(zhong),放(fang)焰口,廟里廟外(wai),非(fei)常隆(long)重。

建設沿革

寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)內歷(li)史永歷(li)五(wu)年(nian)(nian)1651沈(shen)光(guang)文(wen)遇颶風(feng)漂流至臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣,初(chu)播(bo)中國文(wen)化(hua)。十(shi)(shi)五(wu)年(nian)(nian)延(yan)王鄭成(cheng)功率軍渡臺(tai)(tai)(tai)驅逐紅(hong)毛為(wei)復明(ming)(ming)基地,經(jing)(jing)(jing)置東(dong)都,設承(cheng)天(tian)府(fu)并天(tian)興、萬年(nian)(nian)兩縣(xian)治理。十(shi)(shi)八(ba)年(nian)(nian)嗣(si)王鄭經(jing)(jing)(jing) 放(fang)棄金、廈回(hui)臺(tai)(tai)(tai),改東(dong)都為(wei)東(dong)寧,升天(tian)興、萬年(nian)(nian)二(er)縣(xian)為(wei)二(er)州(zhou),裁承(cheng)天(tian)府(fu)。是時(shi)(shi)經(jing)(jing)(jing)州(zhou)守(shou)倡建(jian)梵宮于(yu)(yu)(yu)南郊南溪之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)旁,顏(yan)曰(yue)小(xiao)西(xi)天(tian)。此(ci)時(shi)(shi)有沈(shen)光(guang)文(wen)所(suo)詠詩題︰州(zhou)守(shou)新(xin)構僧(seng)舍(she)于(yu)(yu)(yu)南溪,人(ren)(ren)多往游,余(yu)未(wei)及(ji)也。可以證(zheng)明(ming)(ming)。沈(shen)氏窗蝴詩不(bu)久(jiu)(jiu)因寓(yu)諷鄭經(jing)(jing)(jing)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)賦被才,幾(ji)罹不(bu)測(ce),經(jing)(jing)(jing)變服入山為(wei)僧(seng),故小(xiao)西(xi)天(tian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)系在(zai)二(er)縣(xian)升州(zhou)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后,沈(shen)氏逃禪之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)前,亦即在(zai)十(shi)(shi)八(ba)年(nian)(nian)末(mo),或(huo)(huo)十(shi)(shi)九年(nian)(nian)初(chu)所(suo)建(jian),乃(nai)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)島較(jiao)早興建(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院。嗣(si)因南溪沿畔綠(lv)竹(zhu)(zhu)成(cheng)蔭,風(feng)景宜人(ren)(ren),另名(ming)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪,因是寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)名(ming)亦隨之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)稱為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)。臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣史學家盧嘉(jia)興考(kao)(kao)證(zheng),竹(zhu)(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣第一座(zuo)(zuo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)院。據(ju)(ju)(ju)(ju)其考(kao)(kao)正結果,臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣建(jian)于(yu)(yu)(yu)明(ming)(ming)朝時(shi)(shi)期的(de)(de)三座(zuo)(zuo)佛寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)中,較(jiao)早的(de)(de)為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),次(ci)(ci)為(wei)彌(mi)陀寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),再(zai)次(ci)(ci)為(wei)龍湖巖(yan)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)因年(nian)(nian)代久(jiu)(jiu)遠(yuan),于(yu)(yu)(yu)乾隆(long)五(wu)十(shi)(shi)四年(nian)(nian)1789經(jing)(jing)(jing)里(li)人(ren)(ren)蔡和生倡修(xiu),嘉(jia)慶元年(nian)(nian)1796黃鐘岳等(deng)再(zai)募捐(juan)重修(xiu),嘉(jia)慶二(er)十(shi)(shi)三年(nian)(nian)董(dong)事劉延(yan)貴復修(xiu),光(guang)緒十(shi)(shi)二(er)年(nian)(nian)1886候通判鮑(bao)復康再(zai)重修(xiu)一次(ci)(ci)。日(ri)據(ju)(ju)(ju)(ju)時(shi)(shi)代上官玄、林神等(deng)人(ren)(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)宇破損,殿閣(ge)荒無,決(jue)(jue)心(xin)(xin)聘一住持整(zheng)頓(dun)。日(ri)據(ju)(ju)(ju)(ju)時(shi)(shi)代上官玄、林神等(deng)人(ren)(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)宇破損,殿閣(ge)荒蕪,決(jue)(jue)心(xin)(xin)聘一住持整(zheng)頓(dun)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪民(min)間相傳(chuan),人(ren)(ren)死后魂魄要先到寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)報(bao)到,接受初(chu)審,根據(ju)(ju)(ju)(ju)其生前善惡功過,決(jue)(jue)定上天(tian)堂或(huo)(huo)下地獄,因此(ci)對(dui)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)里(li)的(de)(de)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)(ye)甚(shen)為(wei)敬畏;由(you)于(yu)(yu)(yu)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)(ye)對(dui)于(yu)(yu)(yu)轄區百姓行止(zhi)瞭若指掌(zhang),遇有親人(ren)(ren)行蹤不(bu)明(ming)(ming),每(mei)(mei)(mei)每(mei)(mei)(mei)到此(ci)求簽問卜。每(mei)(mei)(mei)年(nian)(nian)農(nong)歷(li)3月3日(ri)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)(ye)誕辰,祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)(ye)按例于(yu)(yu)(yu)誕辰前夜行轄境,探訪民(min)情。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)成(cheng)為(wei)每(mei)(mei)(mei)年(nian)(nian)度熱鬧的(de)(de)就(jiu)是廟(miao)會。

每當到(dao)(dao)了竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)院,感(gan)受到(dao)(dao)一(yi)(yi)(yi)份超塵的(de)(de)(de)清凈與(yu)(yu)安(an)祥,生起了一(yi)(yi)(yi)份莊嚴與(yu)(yu)寧靜的(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),令人(ren)(ren)(ren)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)而(er)(er)(er)然(ran)(ran)的(de)(de)(de)想進(jin)(jin)入大(da)(da)(da)殿,禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)三拜(bai)(bai),表達對諸佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩薩的(de)(de)(de)禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感(gan)恩(en),而(er)(er)(er)從柔軟、徐緩而(er)(er)(er)安(an)詳的(de)(de)(de)彎(wan)腰禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)動作(zuo)里,感(gan)受到(dao)(dao)禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)者的(de)(de)(de)安(an)定(ding)與(yu)(yu)謙(qian)卑。不(bu)解(jie)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren),認為(wei)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)迷(mi)信(xin)、崇拜(bai)(bai)偶像(xiang)。事實上(shang),佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)透過拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)菩薩,表達對佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、法(fa)(fa)、僧三寶的(de)(de)(de)尊敬(jing)(jing)(jing)與(yu)(yu)感(gan)恩(en);同(tong)時(shi)(shi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也(ye)可(ke)同(tong)時(shi)(shi)懺(chan)悔自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)己(ji)所(suo)造的(de)(de)(de)惡業。所(suo)以(yi)(yi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)每一(yi)(yi)(yi)位佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)教(jiao)徒首先(xian)要學習的(de)(de)(de)宗(zong)教(jiao)儀式。拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)誠意敬(jing)(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)(de)將雙手合掌,低頭(tou)彎(wan)腰,五(wu)(wu)體投(tou)地(di)-兩(liang)肘兩(liang)膝(xi)以(yi)(yi)及(ji)(ji)額頭(tou)著地(di),完成頭(tou)面接(jie)觸(chu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)足的(de)(de)(de)較高敬(jing)(jing)(jing)禮(li)(li)(li)(li),故又稱(cheng)為(wei)頂禮(li)(li)(li)(li)。彎(wan)腰低頭(tou)表示謙(qian)虛,承認自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)己(ji)的(de)(de)(de)福德智(zhi)慧不(bu)足,而(er)(er)(er)當五(wu)(wu)體投(tou)地(di),接(jie)觸(chu)到(dao)(dao)大(da)(da)(da)地(di)時(shi)(shi),則(ze)令人(ren)(ren)(ren)感(gan)動于大(da)(da)(da)地(di)孕(yun)育眾(zhong)生,負載眾(zhong)生,涵容一(yi)(yi)(yi)切的(de)(de)(de)精(jing)神,所(suo)以(yi)(yi),能(neng)懷著感(gan)恩(en)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),以(yi)(yi)飲水思(si)源的(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),感(gan)謝大(da)(da)(da)地(di),感(gan)謝一(yi)(yi)(yi)切眾(zhong)生。而(er)(er)(er)從拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),讓人(ren)(ren)(ren)連想到(dao)(dao),當人(ren)(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)內心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)充滿(man)了禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感(gan)恩(en)與(yu)(yu)懺(chan)悔時(shi)(shi),也(ye)有(you)(you)如(ru)稻穗一(yi)(yi)(yi)樣的(de)(de)(de),因成熟而(er)(er)(er)下垂(chui);而(er)(er)(er)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)意義(yi),也(ye)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)如(ru)此(ci)了。信(xin)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)越來越多,每年春節及(ji)(ji)農歷初一(yi)(yi)(yi)、十(shi)五(wu)(wu)等日期,廣大(da)(da)(da)民眾(zhong)有(you)(you)到(dao)(dao)竹(zhu)溪(xi)燒(shao)香(xiang)禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)、祈(qi)(qi)福求(qiu)安(an)的(de)(de)(de)習慣。旅游(you)途中(zhong)(zhong)參觀名寺(si)大(da)(da)(da)剎,燒(shao)香(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)很(hen)正常的(de)(de)(de),但是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),很(hen)多人(ren)(ren)(ren)并(bing)不(bu)知道(dao)(dao)如(ru)何燒(shao)香(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),為(wei)使(shi)十(shi)方善(shan)信(xin)種植福田(tian)、廣獲法(fa)(fa)益、正善(shan)正行,以(yi)(yi)滿(man)所(suo)愿,以(yi)(yi)祈(qi)(qi)共沾(zhan)法(fa)(fa)益。寺(si)廟(miao)(miao)建筑都(dou)有(you)(you)許(xu)多道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),從哪一(yi)(yi)(yi)道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)進(jin)(jin)入都(dou)有(you)(you)講究的(de)(de)(de)。據說(shuo)只(zhi)有(you)(you)開(kai)了光的(de)(de)(de)寺(si)廟(miao)(miao)才(cai)(cai)有(you)(you)資格修十(shi)三道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)。正中(zhong)(zhong)間的(de)(de)(de)三道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),才(cai)(cai)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)供人(ren)(ren)(ren)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)。普通(tong)游(you)客,進(jin)(jin)門(men)(men)(men)只(zhi)能(neng)走右邊的(de)(de)(de)那道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),中(zhong)(zhong)間那道(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)叫(jiao)空(kong)門(men)(men)(men),只(zhi)有(you)(you)出(chu)家人(ren)(ren)(ren)才(cai)(cai)可(ke)以(yi)(yi)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)。進(jin)(jin)門(men)(men)(men)時(shi)(shi),男客先(xian)邁左腳(jiao),女客先(xian)邁右腳(jiao),而(er)(er)(er)且這步子,需邁得越大(da)(da)(da)越好。同(tong)時(shi)(shi)進(jin)(jin)廟(miao)(miao)內殿宇時(shi)(shi)應(ying)遵循左門(men)(men)(men)進(jin)(jin)右門(men)(men)(men)出(chu)的(de)(de)(de)原則(ze)。注意:一(yi)(yi)(yi)定(ding)不(bu)能(neng)踩(cai)踏在門(men)(men)(men)檻(據說(shuo)門(men)(men)(men)檻代表佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)祖的(de)(de)(de)肩膀,當然(ran)(ran)不(bu)能(neng)踩(cai)踏)之上(shang)。而(er)(er)(er)登臨(lin)第(di)1和第(di)6個臺階的(de)(de)(de)行禮(li)(li)(li)(li)意味著一(yi)(yi)(yi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)一(yi)(yi)(yi)意和六(liu)六(liu)大(da)(da)(da)順的(de)(de)(de)含(han)義(yi)。禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)前,先(xian)要凈(洗)手。香(xiang)不(bu)能(neng)叫(jiao)買而(er)(er)(er)應(ying)該叫(jiao)請。普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)(ren)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)香(xiang)要用左手持(chi)(據說(shuo)右手不(bu)凈,普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)(ren)殺生大(da)(da)(da)多用右手,三炷(zhu)為(wei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)己(ji)祈(qi)(qi)福,六(liu)炷(zhu)為(wei)兩(liang)輩人(ren)(ren)(ren)祈(qi)(qi)福,九炷(zhu)為(wei)三代人(ren)(ren)(ren)祈(qi)(qi)福。而(er)(er)(er)十(shi)三是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)個極致(zhi),十(shi)三炷(zhu)香(xiang)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)功德圓滿(man)的(de)(de)(de)高香(xiang)。先(xian)燒(shao)香(xiang)再叩頭(tou)。
