舊(jiu)州中(zhong)學有著輝煌(huang)的(de)辦(ban)學成就,共有2萬多初(chu)高中(zhong)生從這(zhe)里畢(bi)業,其(qi)中(zhong)有近3千人考(kao)人各級各類大中(zhong)專院校。五十多年來風雨無悔,碩果累(lei)(lei)累(lei)(lei),今天的(de)舊(jiu)州中(zhong)學,凸顯出自己(ji)的(de)辦(ban)學特色,辦(ban)學質量有了進一步(bu)提(ti)高,2011年高考(kao)共錄取本科50余(yu)人,中(zhong)考(kao)上示范性(xing)高中(zhong)42人。
根據西秀區“十(shi)二五”教育發展(zhan)規劃,舊(jiu)州中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)將逐步剝離初中(zhong),辦成(cheng)(cheng)一(yi)所農村綜(zong)合性高級中(zhong)學(xue)(xue),學(xue)(xue)校將以(yi)此為(wei)(wei)契機,以(yi)嚴謹的(de)管(guan)理(li)制度為(wei)(wei)保(bao)證,以(yi)提高教育教學(xue)(xue)質量(liang)為(wei)(wei)核心,以(yi)培養德才兼(jian)備的(de)高素質人才為(wei)(wei)目的(de),內抓管(guan)理(li),外塑形象,切實推(tui)進(jin)新課程改革,以(yi)質量(liang)求生存,以(yi)創新求發展(zhan),力(li)爭把她辦成(cheng)(cheng)一(yi)所新型的(de),社會(hui)信任的(de)農村品(pin)牌中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)。
舊州(zhou)中學(xue)建(jian)(jian)(jian)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)以來(lai),校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)舍、校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)已(yi)發生(sheng)巨大變化。建(jian)(jian)(jian)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)初期,全(quan)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)僅有簡易(yi)平房10余(yu)間,以后政府不斷撥(bo)款增建(jian)(jian)(jian)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)舍。其中1974年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)興建(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)大樓(lou),共有12個(ge)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi)和圖(tu)書(shu)室(shi)(shi)、儀(yi)器(qi)室(shi)(shi)。70年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)后期,師生(sheng)堅持勤工(gong)儉學(xue),開辟(pi)的(de)涼水井茶場,總面積130畝,年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)產茶葉3000斤(jin),并逐年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)在(zai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)內種植樹木(mu),美化校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)。1984年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)后,學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)每(mei)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)又(you)籌措部分(fen)資金,修建(jian)(jian)(jian)圍(wei)墻1000余(yu)米。1992年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)上級撥(bo)款興建(jian)(jian)(jian)教(jiao)學(xue)樓(lou)一棟(dong)共十六(liu)個(ge)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi), 2003年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)以來(lai)由(you)于黨政及(ji)各(ge)界(jie)的(de)支持,學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)建(jian)(jian)(jian)設獲得了(le)(le)較(jiao)快的(de)發展,舊州(zhou)中學(xue)得了(le)(le)“義教(jiao)工(gong)程”項目(mu),新建(jian)(jian)(jian)教(jiao)學(xue)樓(lou)、實驗樓(lou)、辦公(gong)樓(lou)。2004年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)購置微機(ji)(ji)40臺(tai);2005年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)上級部門又(you)為(wei)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)配(pei)給微機(ji)(ji)40臺(tai),2011年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)置換微機(ji)(ji)40臺(tai),并安裝了(le)(le)多媒體(ti)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi);同時為(wei)加(jia)強電化教(jiao)學(xue),還在(zai)每(mei)個(ge)班裝備了(le)(le)一臺(tai)34英(ying)寸的(de)電視機(ji)(ji)和DVD影碟機(ji)(ji)。2005年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)在(zai)市(shi)區體(ti)育(yu)局(ju)、教(jiao)育(yu)局(ju)的(de)關心下,由(you)國際奧委會——戴(dai)克(ke)公(gong)司投資26萬元為(wei)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)援建(jian)(jian)(jian)了(le)(le)體(ti)育(yu)運動場地(di)。2006-2008年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)“義教(jiao)工(gong)程”項目(mu)共為(wei)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)添置圖(tu)書(shu)29560冊(ce),同時按完中2類標準為(wei)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)配(pei)齊了(le)(le)理(li)化生(sheng)儀(yi)器(qi)設備等(deng)。2008年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)舊州(zhou)中學(xue)得到農村寄宿制(zhi)工(gong)程項目(mu),修建(jian)(jian)(jian)了(le)(le)一棟(dong)學(xue)生(sheng)公(gong)寓樓(lou)及(ji)學(xue)生(sheng)食堂。2009年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)得到邵逸(yi)夫先(xian)生(sheng)及(ji)西秀區人民政府支持為(wei)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)修建(jian)(jian)(jian)了(le)(le)逸(yi)夫綜合樓(lou)。硬(ying)件設施(shi)已(yi)臻完善。學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)現占地(di)50余(yu)畝的(de)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan),綠化面積超過百分(fen)之三十,走(zou)進校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan),猶如置身于園(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)林(lin)之內,幽雅的(de)環境,濃(nong)厚(hou)的(de)學(xue)習氛圍(wei),已(yi)成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)青(qing)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)學(xue)子成(cheng)(cheng)才(cai)的(de)搖籃。
1956年(nian)(nian),安順專署在舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)設(she)立初中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)戴帽班(ban)(ban)1班(ban)(ban)。縣文教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)局(ju)派金(jin)躍榮(rong)和(he)孫(sun)世(shi)芳為(wei)專任(ren)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)。1957年(nian)(nian)秋季,根據上級指示,這個班(ban)(ban)與舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)分開(kai)(kai),搬遷至舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)城北門建校,正(zheng)式成立舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),校長田興凡(fan),招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)2班(ban)(ban),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)100余(yu)人(ren)。到(dao)1965年(nian)(nian),全(quan)校發展(zhan)到(dao)8個教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)班(ban)(ban),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)400余(yu)人(ren),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)30人(ren)。1966年(nian)(nian)文化大革命(ming),舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)改名紅衛中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。1968年(nian)(nian)復(fu)課鬧革命(ming)后,校革委主任(ren)周榮(rong)升組織師(shi)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)迅(xun)速扭轉混亂(luan)局(ju)面,恢(hui)復(fu)正(zheng)常教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)秩序。1970年(nian)(nian)增設(she)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)制兩年(nian)(nian),逐年(nian)(nian)招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)2個班(ban)(ban),全(quan)校學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)增至900人(ren),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)職工(gong)(gong)50余(yu)人(ren)。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共十一(yi)屆(jie)三(san)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)全(quan)會以后,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校恢(hui)復(fu)舊(jiu)州(zhou)(zhou)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)原名。1979年(nian)(nian),安順縣教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育局(ju)指定該校為(wei)重點中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(另一(yi)所(suo)(suo)為(wei)寧谷中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue))。1982年(nian)(nian),安順行署指定該校為(wei)“兼顧(gu)辦好(hao)(hao)”的13所(suo)(suo)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)之一(yi),同時改高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)制為(wei)三(san)年(nian)(nian)。到(dao)1988年(nian)(nian),全(quan)校共有20個教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)班(ban)(ban),其中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)初中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)13班(ban)(ban)、高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)7班(ban)(ban),在校生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)1300余(yu)人(ren),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)職工(gong)(gong)64人(ren)。1989—1994年(nian)(nian)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)開(kai)(kai)始下(xia)滑(hua);1995—1997年(nian)(nian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校工(gong)(gong)作步入正(zheng)軌,但好(hao)(hao)景不(bu)長,很快(kuai)又(you)(you)陷入被動局(ju)面;1997年(nian)(nian)下(xia)半年(nian)(nian)到(dao)2002年(nian)(nian)底(di)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校勉強維持正(zheng)常工(gong)(gong)作;2003年(nian)(nian)初,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校進行全(quan)面整改,又(you)(you)恢(hui)復(fu)了(le)勃勃生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)機。
