五(wu)(wu)味子(zi)(zi),俗稱(cheng)山花椒、秤砣子(zi)(zi)、藥五(wu)(wu)味子(zi)(zi)、面藤、五(wu)(wu)梅子(zi)(zi)等,古醫書稱(cheng)它荎蕏(chu)、玄及、會及。為木蘭科(ke)植(zhi)物(wu)五(wu)(wu)味子(zi)(zi)(拉丁名為FructusSchisandraeChinensis)的果實。多年(nian)生落葉藤(teng)本(ben)。植株可供(gong)觀賞,果實習稱“北五(wu)味子”,供(gong)藥用。中國東北、華北等地都有野生或(huo)栽培。
蘇聯、朝鮮(xian)、日本也有出產。唐等《新修本草》載(zai)“五味(wei)皮(pi)肉甘酸,核中(zhong)(zhong)辛苦,都有(you)咸味(wei)”,故有(you)五味(wei)子之名。五味(wei)子屬植物(wu)在中(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)約(yue)有(you)20種。產于中(zhong)(zhong)國中(zhong)(zhong)部的華中(zhong)(zhong)五(wu)味子果實亦入藥,稱“南五(wu)味子”。
