泰(tai)(tai)山(shan)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)于(yu)每年3月(yue)31日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)至(zhi)5月(yue)7日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)舉辦。東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大帝(di)(di)的(de)(de)(de)(de)誕辰是3月(yue)28日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri),自宋朝起(qi),每年此時(shi)立(li)泰(tai)(tai)山(shan)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui),以(yi)(yi)祭東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大帝(di)(di)地點在(zai)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)即岱廟(miao)(miao)除祭祈活(huo)(huo)動外(wai),后(hou)世(shi)逐漸增(zeng)加了(le)(le)商貿(mao)(mao)、娛樂活(huo)(huo)動等內容,服(fu)務于(yu)來(lai)自四面八方的(de)(de)(de)(de)朝拜者。《水滸傳》中燕青打(da)擂就(jiu)是在(zai)泰(tai)(tai)山(shan)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)上。另外(wai)元君生日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)為4月(yue)28日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri),與東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大帝(di)(di)生日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)僅僅晚(wan)一個月(yue),而且后(hou)世(shi)碧霞(xia)元君的(de)(de)(de)(de)影響超過(guo)了(le)(le)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大帝(di)(di),因此東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)拖長了(le)(le)時(shi)間(jian),增(zeng)加了(le)(le)祭祀碧霞(xia)元君的(de)(de)(de)(de)內容。文革期(qi)間(jian)一度取消了(le)(le)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)現在(zai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)會(hui)(hui)期(qi)在(zai)5月(yue)6日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)至(zhi)12日(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri)(ri),一般在(zai)岱宗(zong)坊(fang)西(xi)側(ce)的(de)(de)(de)(de)廣場(chang)舉行。廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)內容除正(zheng)常的(de)(de)(de)(de)宗(zong)教活(huo)(huo)動以(yi)(yi)外(wai),主要(yao)是經貿(mao)(mao)活(huo)(huo)動、旅(lv)(lv)游(you)(you)觀(guan)光(guang)和(he)文化娛樂近(jin)年來(lai),八方人士紛至(zhi)沓來(lai),國外(wai)客(ke)商及游(you)(you)客(ke)也不(bu)斷(duan)增(zeng)加。東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(miao)(miao)突出民俗宗(zong)教文化,全方位地挖掘和(he)展示泰(tai)(tai)山(shan)千年歷史積淀。從獨具魅力的(de)(de)(de)(de)民間(jian)曲(qu)藝到(dao)驚心動魄的(de)(de)(de)(de)游(you)(you)藝競技,從多姿多彩的(de)(de)(de)(de)民間(jian)工藝到(dao)新穎時(shi)尚的(de)(de)(de)(de)旅(lv)(lv)游(you)(you)商品,從祈福納(na)祥的(de)(de)(de)(de)拜山(shan)儀式到(dao)古代帝(di)(di)王(wang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)封禪大典,游(you)(you)客(ke)置身(shen)其(qi)中,宛如進入了(le)(le)民俗文化的(de)(de)(de)(de)大觀(guan)園(yuan)。整個廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)將持續(xu)一個多月(yue)時(shi)間(jian)。

孔(kong)夫子編定(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)《詩經》中(zhong)有(you)(you)(you)“太山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)巖巖,魯邦(bang)所(suo)瞻”的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)詩句,漢(han)武(wu)帝(di)(di)劉徹曾面對(dui)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)發(fa)出“ 高(gao)矣(yi),極(ji)矣(yi),大(da)(da)矣(yi),特(te)矣(yi),赫矣(yi),駭矣(yi),惑矣(yi)”,的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)感嘆(tan)。道家之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)對(dui)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)情(qing)有(you)(you)(you)所(suo)鐘。道與(yu)仙(xian)(xian)有(you)(you)(you)緣,仙(xian)(xian)與(yu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)有(you)(you)(you)關。《說(shuo)(shuo)文》云(yun):“仚(即(ji)仙(xian)(xian)),人(ren)(ren)在山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)上貌(mao),從(cong)(cong)人(ren)(ren)從(cong)(cong)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。”《釋名(ming)》曰(yue)(yue):“老而不死(si)曰(yue)(yue)仙(xian)(xian)。仙(xian)(xian),遷(qian)也,遷(qian)入(ru)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)也,故制(zhi)字人(ren)(ren)傍山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)也。”要(yao)想得(de)道成(cheng)仙(xian)(xian),就(jiu)必(bi)須入(ru)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)修煉(lian)。戰國(guo)時(shi)期(qi),方(fang)土(tu)黃(huang)伯陽隱居于(yu)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)之(zhi)(zhi)鹿町巖洞修煉(lian),后(hou)(hou)人(ren)(ren)稱為(wei)(wei)“黃(huang)伯陽洞”。秦始(shi)(shi)皇(huang)(huang)東封(feng)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)時(shi),曾條算訪(fang)仙(xian)(xian)人(ren)(ren)羨門高(gao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)蹤跡;又傳說(shuo)(shuo)秦始(shi)(shi)皇(huang)(huang)求見修煉(lian)于(yu)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)東南仙(xian)(xian)人(ren)(ren)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)安期(qi)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),“與(yu)語三日(ri)(ri)(ri)而去 ”。漢(han)武(wu)帝(di)(di)對(dui)李少(shao)君(jun)提出的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)“修煉(lian)、封(feng)禪、長(chang)生(sheng)”三者(zhe)融為(wei)(wei)一(yi)體的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建議(yi)極(ji)感興趣,一(yi)生(sheng)七(qi)(qi)次(ci)到泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。道教(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)符箓有(you)(you)(you)“五(wu)岳(yue)(yue)真(zhen)(zhen)形之(zhi)(zhi)圖(tu)”而東岳(yue)(yue)真(zhen)(zhen)形列其(qi)首,東方(fang)塑的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)《五(wu)岳(yue)(yue)真(zhen)(zhen)圖(tu)序》說(shuo)(shuo):“東岳(yue)(yue)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)君(jun)領群(qun)仙(xian)(xian)五(wu)千九百人(ren)(ren),……泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)君(jun)青服青袍,戴(dai)蒼碧七(qi)(qi)稱之(zhi)(zhi)冠,佩(pei)通(tong)陽太平之(zhi)(zhi)印(yin),乘青龍從(cong)(cong)群(qun)官來迎子”。魏晉時(shi)期(qi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)曹植,多次(ci)登臨(lin)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),留下了(le)(le)(le)不少(shao)求仙(xian)(xian)問道的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)詩篇(pian) :“ 仙(xian)(xian)人(ren)(ren)攬六著,對(dui)博(bo)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)隅(yu)”;“驅(qu)風游(you)(you)五(wu)海,東過王(wang)母廬;俯(fu)視(shi)五(wu)岳(yue)(yue)間(jian),人(ren)(ren)生(sheng)如寄居”《仙(xian)(xian)人(ren)(ren)篇(pian)》。“晨游(you)(you)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),云(yun)霧窈(yao)窕”; 泰(tai)山(shan)神東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)的身世眾(zhong)說紛紜,但(dan)泰(tai)山(shan)神東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)倍受信仰是崇拜則是事實。有(you)謂東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)君(jun)“至神農朝(chao),賜天(tian)(tian)符都官號(hao)(hao)名府君(jun),至漢(han)明(ming)(ming)帝(di)(di)封泰(tai)山(shan)元(yuan)帥”(《三(san)教源(yuan)流大(da)全》),這說明(ming)(ming)至少(shao)到漢(han)代(dai)(dai),東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)就(jiu)有(you)封號(hao)(hao)了(le)。唐末時期,是東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)最為(wei)(wei)顯赫的時期,有(you)唐一代(dai)(dai),先(xian)后有(you)封號(hao)(hao)“天(tian)(tian)中王”、“天(tian)(tian)齊(qi)君(jun)”、“天(tian)(tian)齊(qi)王”、宋真宗朝(chao),先(xian)加號(hao)(hao)為(wei)(wei)“仁(ren)圣天(tian)(tian)齊(qi)王”,后加封為(wei)(wei)“天(tian)(tian)齊(qi)仁(ren)圣帝(di)(di)”。東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)不僅(jin)是神界之(zhi)神, 而(er)且還成了(le)人間帝(di)(di)王,有(you)夫人曰淑明(ming)(ming),有(you)子(zi)曰三(san)郎、四郎、七(qi)郎。宋真宗封禪泰(tai)山(shan)時,定(ding)東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di)的生日(ri)為(wei)(wei)三(san)月二十(shi)八日(ri)(如《水滸傳》第七(qi)十(shi)三(san)回講“三(san)月二十(shi)八日(ri),天(tian)(tian)齊(qi)圣帝(di)(di)降(jiang)誕之(zhi)辰”), 并決定(ding)年年慶(qing)賀,因而(er)也就(jiu)使(shi)泰(tai)山(shan)廟(miao)會形成了(le)定(ding)制,廟(miao)會的地點也由唐代(dai)(dai)時的岱岳(yue)觀一帶改名為(wei)(wei)東岳(yue)廟(miao)(主(zhu)祀東岳(yue)大(da)帝(di)(di))了(le)。
東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟或謂泰(tai)山(shan)廟,即岱廟是也。岱廟創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)于何時(shi),有人以岱廟內《大(da)宋天貺殿(dian)碑(bei)銘》中有“秦(qin)既作疇”、“漢(han)亦起宮(gong)”,為(wei)據(ju)推斷創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)于秦(qin)漢(han)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)際;也有人則認為(wei)稍晚一些。拋開“創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)”問(wen)題不(bu)論,唐宋時(shi)期已具有相當規模則是有據(ju)可查(cha)的(de)(de)(de)。《大(da)宋宣和重(zhong)修泰(tai)岱廟碑(bei)》記載:“ 增至(zhi)宮(gong)宇(yu)”,“ 繚墻(qiang)外圍”,罡罳分翼,巋然如御都紫(zi)極,望之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者知之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)神(shen)靈(ling)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)宅。凡殿(dian) 、寢 、堂、閣、門(men)(men)、亭、庫(ku)、 館、樓(lou)、觀、 廊(lang)、廡,合(he)八百一十盈”。以宋代為(wei)背(bei)景的(de)(de)(de)《水(shui)滸傳》對岱廟也有著精彩的(de)(de)(de)描寫:“廟居岱岳(yue),山(shan)鎮乾坤,為(wei)山(shan)岳(yue)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)至(zhi)尊(zun),乃(nai)萬神(shen)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)領袖。山(shan)頭伏檻,直望見弱水(shui)蓬萊;絕頂攀松(song),盡都是密(mi)云薄霧(wu)。樓(lou)臺森聳,疑是金烏(wu)展翅飛來;殿(dian)角棱層(ceng), 定覺玉(yu)兔(tu)騰身走到。雕梁畫棟,碧瓦朱(zhu)檐。鳳扉亮(liang)而映(ying)黃(huang)紗,龜背(bei)繡簾垂錦帶(dai)(dai)。遙(yao)觀圣像,九旒冕舜目堯眉(mei)(mei);眉(mei)(mei),近睹神(shen)顏,兗龍袍湯肩禹背(bei)。九天司命,芙蓉冠掩(yan)映(ying)絳綃(xiao)認,炳錄赫(he)黃(huang)袍偏稱藍(lan)田帶(dai)(dai)。左侍(shi)下(xia)玉(yu)簪珠(zhu)履,右侍(shi)下(xia)紫(zi)綬金章。闔殿(dian)威嚴,護駕三(san)千甲將 ;兩廊(lang)勇猛,勤王十萬鐵衣兵(bing)。五岳(yue)樓(lou)相接東(dong)(dong)宮(gong),仁安(an)殿(dian)緊(jin)連(lian)北闕(que)。蒿(hao)里(li)山(shan)下(xia),判官(guan)分七十二司;白騾(luo)廟中,土神(shen)按二十四氣。管火池,鐵面(mian)太(tai)尉月月通靈(ling);掌(zhang)生死,五道將軍年年顯圣。御香(xiang)不(bu)斷,天神(shen)飛馬報丹(dan)書;祭祀依時(shi),老幼望月祈獲(huo)福。嘉寧(ning)殿(dian),祥云杳靄; 正陽(yang)門(men)(men),瑞(rui)氣盤旋。萬民朝拜碧霞君(jun), 四方(fang)歸依仁圣帝。”以慶賀東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大(da)帝誕辰為(wei)主(zhu)要(yao)內容的(de)(de)(de)泰(tai)山(shan)廟會(hui),選址(zhi)在(zai)主(zhu)祀東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)大(da)帝的(de)(de)(de)東(dong)(dong)岳(yue)廟(岱廟)一帶(dai)(dai)是再(zai)妥當不(bu)過的(de)(de)(de)了。
