汕頭市外馬路第三小學(xue)(xue)位于汕頭市外馬路129號,歷史(shi)悠(you)久,現址建筑史(shi)上曾(ceng)辦過同文學(xue)(xue)堂、省立嶺(ling)東商校(xiao)。

學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)原址是“同文(wen)學(xue)(xue)堂(tang)”,是由我國(guo)(guo)近(jin)代史(shi)上杰出的(de)(de)愛(ai)國(guo)(guo)志士、卓越的(de)(de)教育家、詩(shi)人丘逢甲于1901年(nian)創辦(ban)的(de)(de)。1926年(nian)2月(yue),東江各(ge)屬(shu)行政(zheng)委員周(zhou)恩來在這里召開(kai)東江各(ge)屬(shu)行政(zheng)會議(yi)。1985年(nian)廣東省(sheng)(sheng)人民政(zheng)府(fu)把(ba)校(xiao)(xiao)址定(ding)為(wei)重點文(wen)物保(bao)護單位(wei)。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)先后易名(ming)為(wei)省(sheng)(sheng)立嶺東商校(xiao)(xiao)、外(wai)馬路第二小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)、東方(fang)紅(hong)大道第三(san)小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue),1979年(nian)定(ding)名(ming)為(wei)外(wai)馬路第三(san)小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)。1985年(nian)元月(yue),中(zhong)共(gong)汕(shan)頭市(shi)委、市(shi)政(zheng)府(fu)把(ba)校(xiao)(xiao)址定(ding)為(wei)“汕(shan)頭市(shi)愛(ai)國(guo)(guo)主義教育基地(di)”, 1960年(nian)被定(ding)為(wei)市(shi)重點小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue),1994年(nian)12月(yue)被評(ping)為(wei)“廣東省(sheng)(sheng)一級學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)”。
