南京中電熊貓照明公司成立以來，始終注重科技創新、品牌維護、專業檢測手段建設及技術隊伍培養，現有科技人員92人，占員工人數的 25%，其中：高級技術職稱人員15人；完成各類研發項目174項，其中LED科研項目138項；現有授權專利9項，實用新型專利34項，其中LED 25項；企業研發中心2010年被江蘇省科技廳授牌“江蘇省綠色照明系統設計工程技術研究中心”。2012年被江蘇省教育廳和科技廳聯合授牌“江蘇省企業研究生工作站”。
