建筑結構
該寺座北(bei)(bei)面南,兩進院(yuan),創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)于北(bei)(bei)宋(song)開寶四(si)年(nian)(971),歷代屢有修葺。現存建(jian)筑(zhu)有山門、中(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、鐘鼓(gu)樓及東西配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、兩廡等。中(zhong)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)宋(song)代早期建(jian)筑(zhu),后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)明(ming)代建(jian)筑(zhu),其(qi)余(yu)建(jian)筑(zhu)為(wei)清代遺物。中(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),居院(yuan)內(nei)(nei)中(zhong)央(yang),雄健古(gu)樸,穩重壯觀。據寺內(nei)(nei)現存宋(song)淳化二(er)年(nian)(991)碑文記載,創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)于宋(song)《營造(zao)(zao)法式(shi)》頒行之前(qian)的(de)(de)(de)北(bei)(bei)宋(song)開寶年(nian)間(jian)(jian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)身(shen)面闊(kuo)三(san)間(jian)(jian),進深六椽(chuan),單檐(yan)九脊頂(ding)(ding),筒板布瓦蓋頂(ding)(ding),上施琉璃吻獸。該殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在許多地方沿(yan)襲唐制(zhi),柱(zhu)頭無普柏(bo)杭。斗拱(gong)七鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo)(zuo),雙(shuang)抄雙(shuang)下(xia)昂,昂為(wei)批竹(zhu)式(shi),昂尾壓(ya)在四(si)椽(chuan)袱下(xia)皮(pi)。補間(jian)(jian)斗拱(gong)五(wu)鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo)(zuo),雙(shuang)抄偷心造(zao)(zao),下(xia)部無櫨(lu)斗和直(zhi)斗與唐代建(jian)筑(zhu)五(wu)臺山佛(fo)(fo)光寺東大殿(dian)(dian)(dian)一致。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)(nei)梁(liang)架徹上露(lu)明(ming)造(zao)(zao),使(shi)用(yong)(yong)的(de)(de)(de)一對(dui)“斷(duan)梁(liang)”,結構奇(qi)特(te),是(shi)民間(jian)(jian)匠(jiang)師獨特(te)的(de)(de)(de)創(chuang)(chuang)造(zao)(zao),這在建(jian)筑(zhu)史上具有較高的(de)(de)(de)實踐意義。斷(duan)梁(liang)是(shi)利用(yong)(yong)兩根直(zhi)徑、長(chang)短相等的(de)(de)(de)短梁(liang)對(dui)接(jie)成,“斷(duan)梁(liang)”正中(zhong)縫下(xia),用(yong)(yong)順(shun)袱來承托,兩端架于前(qian)后檐(yan)柱(zhu)斗拱(gong)后尾上,并將(jiang)尾蓋重力平(ping)衡到前(qian)后檐(yan)柱(zhu)之上,這一建(jian)筑(zhu)特(te)點是(shi)古(gu)代匠(jiang)師因材設計:小村大用(yong)(yong)的(de)(de)(de)獨特(te)創(chuang)(chuang)舉(ju)。三(san)間(jian)(jian)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)宇(yu),七鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo)(zuo)斗拱(gong),出(chu)檐(yan)之深遠,又超過(guo)了五(wu)代時(shi)期的(de)(de)(de)建(jian)筑(zhu)平(ping)遙鎮國(guo)寺萬佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),其(qi)建(jian)筑(zhu)風格(ge)當屬古(gu)制(zhi)。崇明(ming)寺中(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在建(jian)筑(zhu)風格(ge)上沿(yan)襲唐風,并且結構獨特(te),可謂我(wo)國(guo)古(gu)代建(jian)筑(zhu)中(zhong)一枝獨放(fang)的(de)(de)(de)奇(qi)花(hua),具有很高的(de)(de)(de)建(jian)筑(zhu)藝術價值。

道光《修武縣志·金石志》記(ji)載有(you)兩通關于崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)石的(de)(de)古碑(bei),一通為(wei)至正十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1350年(nian)(nian)(nian))元代禮部郎(lang)中張(zhang)琬(wan)(wan)撰的(de)(de)《五里源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)》(以下簡稱(cheng)張(zhang)琬(wan)(wan)碑(bei)),一通為(wei)嘉靖十(shi)(shi)三年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1534年(nian)(nian)(nian))明(ming)(ming)代禮部侍郎(lang)何(he)瑭撰的(de)(de)《重修五里源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)》(以下簡稱(cheng)何(he)瑭碑(bei)),張(zhang)琬(wan)(wan)碑(bei)云“茲寺(si)(si)(si)(si),大(da)(da)禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)稠公之所(suo)創”,何(he)瑭碑(bei)云“屯西(xi)南有(you)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si),蓋禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)稠公之所(suo)建(jian)也”,兩碑(bei)都認為(wei)此寺(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)創建(jian)者為(wei)稠禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)。稠禪(chan)師(shi)(shi),稠禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)(510~585),名慧,北(bei)朝(chao)魏齊(qi)間鄴(今(jin)河北(bei)臨漳縣西(xi))人。他是我國歷史上最早有(you)文獻(xian)記(ji)載的(de)(de)佛(fo)門著(zhu)名武僧和(he)少林(lin)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)二祖。北(bei)齊(qi)天(tian)(tian)(tian)寶(bao)七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(557年(nian)(nian)(nian)),稠禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)奉(feng)文宣帝旨意,在太行山一帶沿山建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)二十(shi)(shi)多(duo)(duo)所(suo),在天(tian)(tian)(tian)門山腰(yao)首建(jian)大(da)(da)護國仁(ren)王(wang)寺(si)(si)(si)(si),即今(jin)天(tian)(tian)(tian)的(de)(de)百(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖寺(si)(si)(si)(si)。又據(ju)張(zhang)琬(wan)(wan)碑(bei),其(qi)篆(zhuan)額有(you)“百(bai)巖崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei),大(da)(da)護國仁(ren)王(wang)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)下院”,則知五里源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)百(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖寺(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)下院,其(qi)建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)代也當在北(bei)齊(qi)天(tian)(tian)(tian)寶(bao)年(nian)(nian)(nian)間。據(ju)此推算,崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)已(yi)有(you)1450多(duo)(duo)年(nian)(nian)(nian)的(de)(de)歷史。
崇(chong)明寺建成(cheng)后,因(yin)其(qi)位于縣城和百(bai)(bai)(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)正中,且(qie)是縣城去百(bai)(bai)(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)的(de)必經(jing)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)處(chu),因(yin)此無論(lun)善男信女還是文(wen)人騷客,慕名前(qian)往百(bai)(bai)(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)的(de),無不(bu)先(xian)到崇(chong)明寺或先(xian)禮佛(fo),或作小憩,又(you)因(yin)這里風(feng)景(jing)絕佳,由此崇(chong)明寺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)名大(da)噪,遂成(cheng)一處(chu)名剎兼名勝(sheng)。張琬碑稱其(qi)“負太(tai)行(xing)而揖嵩少,東連(lian)乎蘇門、百(bai)(bai)(bai)泉(quan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)幽勝(sheng),西接乎濟水(shui)(shui)、盤谷之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)清雅(ya),風(feng)氣淳淑,民(min)物繁伙(huo),加以水(shui)(shui)竹之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)明秀,村落(luo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)旁午,稻塍蔬圃,雞犬相聞,故(gu)高人勝(sheng)士聯鏕并(bing)駕(jia),游詠不(bu)乏,盛境振名于懷衛(wei)”,贊其(qi)為“實中土之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)杰區,空門之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)福地”,而何瑭碑則記其(qi)“北(bei)負太(tai)行(xing),東連(lian)百(bai)(bai)(bai)泉(quan),西去海(hai)蟾宮(gong)里許,宮(gong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)前(qian)有泉(quan)涌出,下流(liu)寺側,蓋寧城之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)勝(sheng)地也”。
崇明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)代有(you)(you)(you)修(xiu)(xiu)葺(qi),有(you)(you)(you)明(ming)(ming)確(que)記(ji)(ji)載的有(you)(you)(you):至正年(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian),住持僧(seng)(seng)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)、因(yin)全重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)。因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)俗姓霍氏,河(he)內(nei)人(ren),出家(jia)于(yu)河(he)內(nei)天圣院;因(yin)全,俗姓師氏,清(qing)華人(ren),為因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)師弟,因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)圓寂后(hou)繼任本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)住持。此(ci)(ci)次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)時的翰林文字(zi)同知兼國(guo)史院編(bian)修(xiu)(xiu)官(guan)(guan)奉議大夫禮部郎中(zhong)(zhong)張琬(wan)為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji)。明(ming)(ming)代成化年(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian),僧(seng)(seng)官(guan)(guan)祥俊及(ji)其弟子妙(miao)淳、妙(miao)慶重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)時的河(he)南按察使楊徽為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji);嘉靖(jing)二(er)年(nian)(1523年(nian)),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)地耆老杭鑒及(ji)其子杭彪(biao)州捐銀一百兩(liang)及(ji)當(dang)(dang)(dang)地信士(shi)共同資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)助,本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)住持廣堅、清(qing)應等主持重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),歷時兩(liang)年(nian)半,于(yu)嘉靖(jing)四年(nian)十(shi)(shi)月完工,重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)建雷音(yin)殿五(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)、伽藍殿三間(jian)(jian)(jian)、東(dong)西(xi)方丈六間(jian)(jian)(jian)。此(ci)(ci)次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)時的禮部右侍郎何(he)瑭(tang)為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji)。另(ling)據道(dao)(dao)光(guang)《修(xiu)(xiu)武縣志·寺(si)(si)(si)觀(guan)附》記(ji)(ji)載,百家(jia)巖寺(si)(si)(si)曾一度(du)傾(qing)廢,其僧(seng)(seng)眾皆居于(yu)五(wu)里源之(zhi)崇明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si),由(you)此(ci)(ci)可(ke)見當(dang)(dang)(dang)時崇明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)規模(mo)之(zhi)盛。但(dan)至道(dao)(dao)光(guang)年(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian),雖(sui)然該寺(si)(si)(si)頗具“花木(mu)竹柏之(zhi)勝”,但(dan)已(yi)墻垣頹敗,寺(si)(si)(si)僧(seng)(seng)寥落無(wu)存。其后(hou)有(you)(you)(you)無(wu)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),不得而知。2001年(nian),五(wu)里源村有(you)(you)(you)心之(zhi)士(shi)根據當(dang)(dang)(dang)地老年(nian)人(ren)的回(hui)憶,繪(hui)制了民(min)國(guo)時期的崇明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)示意圖,閱圖可(ke)知,當(dang)(dang)(dang)年(nian)的崇明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)有(you)(you)(you)山門一間(jian)(jian)(jian),東(dong)西(xi)廊廡各五(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)(zhong)佛殿三間(jian)(jian)(jian),大佛殿五(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)(zhong)佛殿東(dong)南有(you)(you)(you)鐘樓一座,大佛殿東(dong)側有(you)(you)(you)觀(guan)音(yin)殿一間(jian)(jian)(jian),觀(guan)音(yin)殿還有(you)(you)(you)地下室(shi),另(ling)有(you)(you)(you)東(dong)西(xi)配(pei)殿各五(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian),最后(hou)為僧(seng)(seng)房(fang)十(shi)(shi)一間(jian)(jian)(jian)。當(dang)(dang)(dang)地百姓傳說(shuo),廟中(zhong)(zhong)大殿梁(liang)上雖(sui)然長年(nian)無(wu)人(ren)打掃,卻從無(wu)積塵,也無(wu)本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)一奇。
據(ju)現在(zai)主持募修的(de)(de)五(wu)里源(yuan)信(xin)(xin)徒(tu)郝小具(ju)說,此寺(si)在(zai)日(ri)偽時期被徹底拆除,用(yong)于修建(jian)本村(cun)炮(pao)樓和碉(diao)堡。上世紀六(liu)十年代(dai)(dai)初,國家加強基層(ceng)醫療衛(wei)生機(ji)構建(jian)設,五(wu)里源(yuan)公社在(zai)原(yuan)崇(chong)明寺(si)的(de)(de)廢(fei)址上興建(jian)了(le)公社衛(wei)生院(yuan)(yuan),原(yuan)來寺(si)院(yuan)(yuan)的(de)(de)碑刻(ke)也(ye)散落(luo)各處。十一屆(jie)三(san)中全會后(hou),宗(zong)教(jiao)政策得到落(luo)實,當地善男信(xin)(xin)女開始籌劃重建(jian)崇(chong)明寺(si)。九十年代(dai)(dai)后(hou)期,信(xin)(xin)眾(zhong)集資購買了(le)鄉(xiang)衛(wei)生院(yuan)(yuan)后(hou)院(yuan)(yuan)作為安神(shen)之所,原(yuan)碑刻(ke)文物也(ye)逐漸被找回,其中就有著名的(de)(de)唐代(dai)(dai)佛頂尊(zun)勝陀羅尼經幢和北宋(song)魯遷之詩碣。
