1929年,孫震將軍(jun)創辦(ban)私立樹(shu)德學校(xiao)(xiao),提(ti)出“樹(shu)德樹(shu)人”的辦(ban)學主張。二十世紀三十、四十年代,成(cheng)為全(quan)國(guo)辦(ban)得最好的六所私立學校(xiao)(xiao)之一,時稱“北有南(nan)開,西有樹(shu)德”(《大公(gong)報》記載(zai))。
1952年(nian)(nian)(nian),改制為(wei)(wei)公立(li)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),更名為(wei)(wei)成(cheng)(cheng)都九中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)辦(ban)好的(de)(de)(de)省(sheng)(sheng)級重點(dian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)歸國(guo)華僑(qiao)子女(nv)集(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就讀(du)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、1959年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)高(gao)(gao)(gao)級干部(bu)(bu)子女(nv)集(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就讀(du)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。1989年(nian)(nian)(nian),恢復樹德(de)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)名。2000年(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)國(guo)家級示范高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。2004年(nian)(nian)(nian),成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)(wei)引進國(guo)際高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)課程(cheng)(VCE)的(de)(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2007年(nian)(nian)(nian)~2010年(nian)(nian)(nian),實(shi)施名校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)擴建,形成(cheng)(cheng)“一校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)三區”的(de)(de)(de)辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)格(ge)局。2009年(nian)(nian)(nian),組建樹德(de)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)教(jiao)(jiao)育集(ji)團,引領(ling)幫扶(fu)13所成(cheng)(cheng)員學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),促(cu)進教(jiao)(jiao)育優質均衡。2010年(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)確定為(wei)(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)育部(bu)(bu)在四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)探索拔尖創新人才早(zao)期培養(yang)的(de)(de)(de)試點(dian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2011年(nian)(nian)(nian),成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)西部(bu)(bu)引進IB國(guo)際課程(cheng)的(de)(de)(de)公立(li)高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian),獲(huo)北京大學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)“中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長實(shi)名制推薦”、清華大學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)“領(ling)軍計劃”學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2013年(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)首批(pi)一級示范性高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian),成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)(wei)全國(guo)首批(pi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)大學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)先修(xiu)課程(cheng)(CAP)試點(dian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。現為(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)教(jiao)(jiao)育學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)會(hui)高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)專業委員會(hui)常務理事學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。
