張道(dao)陵(ling)(34年2月22日—156年),字輔漢,原(yuan)名(ming)陵(ling),正一盟威(wei)道(dao)創始(shi)人(ren),東漢豐(feng)縣(今江蘇徐州豐(feng)縣)人(ren)。
太上老(lao)君“授以(yi)三天(tian)正法,命為(wei)天(tian)師(shi)(shi)”,后世尊稱為(wei)“老(lao)祖天(tian)師(shi)(shi)”、“正一真人(ren)”,"三天(tian)扶教(jiao)大(da)法師(shi)(shi)",高明上帝,張天(tian)師(shi)(shi)。著作《老(lao)子想爾注(zhu)》,弟子有(you)3000多(duo)人(ren),設立24治(zhi),奠基天(tian)師(shi)(shi)道(dao)(dao)。張道(dao)(dao)陵、葛玄、許遜、薩守(shou)堅(jian)合(he)稱四大(da)天(tian)師(shi)(shi)。
張(zhang)道陵創建(jian)天(tian)師道的(de)(de)背景:當時在巴蜀(shu)一帶,原有(you)巴人信(xin)奉(feng)原始巫教(jiao),大規模(mo)的(de)(de)淫祀而(er)害民。而(er)這些祀奉(feng)鬼(gui)妖(學(xue)名(ming)為:妖邪)的(de)(de)法教(jiao)巫師聚(ju)眾斂財(cai),無惡不作。
張天師(shi)攜王(wang)長、趙升二位(wei)弟子和黃帝(di)九鼎丹經,來到北邙(mang)山修(xiu)行,平定了那些禍(huo)害百(bai)姓的(de)巫妖之(zhi)教(jiao)。川渝一帶流傳的(de)張天師(shi)以太上老君劍印(yin)符(fu)箓大破鬼兵的(de)故事就是(shi)以此(ci)為原(yuan)型的(de)。
張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling),字輔漢(han)(han)(han),西漢(han)(han)(han)開國大(da)功臣張(zhang)良(liang)的第十(shi)(shi)世孫《漢(han)(han)(han)天師世家(jia)》記(ji)載(zai):良(liang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)疑、不(bu)疑生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)高、高生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)通(tong)、通(tong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)無(wu)(wu)(wu)妄(wang)、無(wu)(wu)(wu)妄(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)里(li)仁(ren)、里(li)仁(ren)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)皓、皓生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)綱、綱生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)大(da)順、大(da)順生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)。漢(han)(han)(han)光武建武十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)正月(yue)十(shi)(shi)五(wu)日(ri)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于豐縣阿房村,出生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)前,其(qi)母(mu)夢見(jian)魁星下(xia)降,感而(er)有(you)孕。出生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)時滿(man)室異香,整月(yue)不(bu)散,黃云罩頂,紫氣彌院(yuan)。自幼聰慧過人(ren)(ren),七歲(sui)便(bian)讀通(tong)《道(dao)(dao)(dao)德經(jing)》,天文地理、河洛讖緯之書(shu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)不(bu)通(tong)曉(xiao),為(wei)太學書(shu)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)時,博通(tong)《五(wu)經(jing)》,后來(lai)嘆息道(dao)(dao)(dao):“這(zhe)些書(shu)都(dou)無(wu)(wu)(wu)法解決(jue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死的問題啊!”于是棄(qi)儒改學長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)之道(dao)(dao)(dao)。張(zhang)祖(zu)二十(shi)(shi)五(wu)歲(sui),曾官(guan)拜(bai)江州令。而(er)他卻身在朝政,志慕清(qing)(qing)虛(xu),不(bu)久(jiu)就隱居到洛陽北(bei)邙山中,精思學道(dao)(dao)(dao),修煉三年(nian)(nian),有(you)白(bai)虎口銜玉符而(er)至其(qi)所。永元(公元89年(nian)(nian))初年(nian)(nian),漢(han)(han)(han)和(he)帝賜為(wei)太傅,又封為(wei)冀縣侯,三次下(xia)詔,張(zhang)祖(zu)都(dou)婉拒了(le),他對使者說:“人(ren)(ren)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)在世,不(bu)過百歲(sui),光陰荏苒,轉瞬(shun)便(bian)逝。父母(mu)隆恩,妻妾厚愛,也隨時而(er)消(xiao)失。君臣之恩,誰見(jian)長久(jiu)?請轉告圣上(shang),只要清(qing)(qing)靜寡欲,無(wu)(wu)(wu)為(wei)而(er)治(zhi),天下(xia)自然大(da)定,要我何用?我志在青(qing)山中!”為(wei)了(le)避開京都(dou)近郊的俗務嘈雜和(he)騷擾(rao),張(zhang)祖(zu)決(jue)心云游名山大(da)川、訪(fang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)求(qiu)仙去了(le)。
張(zhang)祖先(xian)是南(nan)游淮(huai)河,居(ju)桐柏太平山(shan),后(hou)與(yu)弟(di)子王(wang)長(chang)、趙升一起,渡江(jiang)(jiang)南(nan)下,在江(jiang)(jiang)西貴溪(xi)縣云錦山(shan)住了下來。此地山(shan)清(qing)水秀,景色(se)清(qing)幽,為古(gu)仙(xian)人棲(qi)息之所,張(zhang)祖就在山(shan)上結(jie)廬而(er)(er)居(ju),并筑(zhu)壇煉丹,三年(nian)而(er)(er)神丹成;龍虎出現(xian),故(gu)此山(shan)又(you)稱龍虎山(shan)。時年(nian)張(zhang)祖六十歲(sui),后(hou)又(you)移居(ju)四川鶴(he)鳴山(shan),感石(shi)鶴(he)長(chang)鳴。
漢順帝漢安(an)元年(公元142年)正月十(shi)五(wu)(wu)日,傳(chuan)說太(tai)上老君降臨蜀(shu)地,傳(chuan)授張(zhang)祖(zu)《太(tai)平(ping)洞極經》、《正一(yi)盟威二十(shi)四品法(fa)箓》、三五(wu)(wu)都功玉印、雌(ci)雄斬邪劍(jian)等(deng)經書、法(fa)器(qi),拜為(wei)天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi),囑咐天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)廣行正一(yi)盟威之道(dao),掃除妖魔,救護(hu)生民(min)。于(yu)是天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)于(yu)漢安(an)二年七月,登青(qing)城山,會八(ba)部鬼(gui)(gui)帥(shuai),大(da)戰眾(zhong)鬼(gui)(gui),制伏(fu)外道(dao)惡魔,誅絕邪偽。天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)道(dao)法(fa)通玄,諸魔所不能敵,各各降服,愿意(yi)皈(gui)依正道(dao),于(yu)是天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)敕命五(wu)(wu)方(fang)八(ba)部六(liu)天(tian)(tian)鬼(gui)(gui)神,在青(qing)城山黃帝壇下(xia)盟誓(shi),人處陽間(jian),鬼(gui)(gui)處幽冥,使六(liu)天(tian)(tian)鬼(gui)(gui)王囚禁于(yu)北陰(yin)酆都城,八(ba)部鬼(gui)(gui)帥(shuai)流放于(yu)西(xi)域邊地。從此妖魔降服,人民(min)安(an)樂,至今青(qing)城山仍(reng)留(liu)有天(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)與眾(zhong)鬼(gui)(gui)帥(shuai)戰斗(dou)的誓(shi)鬼(gui)(gui)臺、鬼(gui)(gui)界(jie)碑(bei)等(deng)古跡。
天師降妖伏魔,救(jiu)護(hu)眾生(sheng),蜀地的人(ren)民(min)都非(fei)常感(gan)動,都愿(yuan)意聽受天師教化。于(yu)是(shi)天師設立(li)二十四治,廣收(shou)門(men)徒,教化于(yu)民(min)。東漢(han)桓帝永壽元年九月九日,在四川赤城渠(qu)亭山中,玉帝派遣使者持玉冊,敕封天師為正一真人(ren),天師世壽一百二十三(san)歲,與蒼溪云(yun)臺山白日飛升。
張道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling),初名張陵(ling)(ling),后改今名。本是太(tai)學(xue)書生(sheng),性好學(xue),博(bo)五(wu)經,邃(sui)于(yu)黃(huang)老之道(dao)(dao)(dao),七歲即能(neng)通(tong)道(dao)(dao)(dao)德經及河洛圖(tu)諱(hui)之書,皆極其(qi)奧。長為(wei)博(bo)學(xue)之士。后棄官學(xue)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。創(chuang)立了正(zheng)一盟威道(dao)(dao)(dao),簡稱(cheng)正(zheng)一道(dao)(dao)(dao)。漢順帝(di)時永壽(shou)元年在(zai)鶴鳴山創(chuang)建正(zheng)一盟威道(dao)(dao)(dao),太(tai)上老君“授以三天(tian)(tian)(tian)正(zheng)法,命為(wei)天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)”,自稱(cheng)“三天(tian)(tian)(tian)法師(shi)正(zheng)一真(zhen)人(ren)”,并纂(zuan)道(dao)(dao)(dao)書24篇。漢桓帝(di)時在(zai)四(si)川蒼(cang)溪縣境的靈(ling)臺山(又名天(tian)(tian)(tian)柱山)飛升,傳說時年123歲,道(dao)(dao)(dao)教稱(cheng)為(wei)“祖天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)”。傳說第1代天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)張道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)跟太(tai)上老君學(xue)道(dao)(dao)(dao)得老君親(qin)授,得天(tian)(tian)(tian)獨厚,道(dao)(dao)(dao)法高強。
祖天(tian)師(shi)所創道(dao)派,稱正(zheng)一(yi)盟威道(dao),簡稱正(zheng)一(yi)道(dao)。但因奉其道(dao)者(zhe),須出五(wu)斗(dou)米,當時又有稱五(wu)斗(dou)米道(dao)(編者(zhe)按:實際上(shang)多用(yong)是(shi)(shi)蔑稱,但是(shi)(shi)初中課本稱之為五(wu)斗(dou)米道(dao)張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)陵除書符(fu)治病(bing)、驅邪(xie)禳(rang)災以外,在(zai)巴(ba)蜀地區(qu)建立(li)起二(er)十四(si)個宗教活動(dong)中心,即(ji)二(er)十四(si)治。道(dao)民(min)定期赴治學(xue)道(dao),祭禱(dao)。其孫(sun)子張(zhang)(zhang)魯在(zai)東漢(han)末,三(san)國時期,擁有一(yi)支軍隊,在(zai)漢(han)中建立(li)了(le)政(zheng)教合一(yi)的(de)(de)割據(ju)政(zheng)權(quan)(quan)。并利用(yong)政(zheng)權(quan)(quan)的(de)(de)力(li)量,推(tui)行正(zheng)一(yi)道(dao)的(de)(de)一(yi)些(xie)社會和宗派主張(zhang)(zhang),比(bi)如,對(dui)犯有罪過的(de)(de)人,不是(shi)(shi)用(yong)嚴刑(xing)懲罰,而是(shi)(shi)原諒三(san)次后再加以刑(xing)罰,那(nei)刑(xing)罰也比(bi)較(jiao)輕,一(yi)般是(shi)(shi)讓(rang)他去修路(lu)。同(tong)時在(zai)路(lu)上(shang)設義舍(she),里面放(fang)米肉,路(lu)人可以量腹而食。這些(xie)措施對(dui)于天(tian)下(xia)大亂形勢下(xia)的(de)(de)民(min)眾(zhong),營造了(le)比(bi)較(jiao)寬(kuan)松的(de)(de)生活環(huan)境,因此得到了(le)當地漢(han)族和少數民(min)族群(qun)眾(zhong)的(de)(de)擁護。后來,張(zhang)(zhang)魯投降(jiang)了(le)曹操,割據(ju)政(zheng)權(quan)(quan)也就不得再存在(zai)。曹操將天(tian)師(shi)道(dao)的(de)(de)力(li)量遷(qian)移到北方,但是(shi)(shi)讓(rang)正(zheng)一(yi)盟威道(dao)教卻(que)得到了(le)保留,并向內地傳播。
張(zhang)道陵先(xian)退隱北(bei)邙山修(xiu)道,后得黃帝九鼎丹經(jing),修(xiu)煉于(yu)(yu)(yu)繁陽山,丹成服之,得分(fen)形散影之妙,通神(shen)(shen)變化,坐在立亡,每泛池中,誦(song)經(jing)堂上(shang),隱幾對客,杖藜(li)行吟,一時并(bing)赴(fu),人皆莫測其(qi)靈異(yi)也。后于(yu)(yu)(yu)萬山石室中,得隱書秘文(wen)及制(zhi)命山岳(yue)眾(zhong)神(shen)(shen)之術,行之有驗。聞蜀(shu)民(min)樸素純厚,易(yi)于(yu)(yu)(yu)教化,且多(duo)名山,乃將(jiang)弟子(zi)入蜀(shu),于(yu)(yu)(yu)鶴鳴(ming)山隱居(ju)修(xiu)道。既(ji)遇(yu)老君,遂于(yu)(yu)(yu)隱居(ju)之所備藥物(wu),依法(fa)(fa)修(xiu)煉,三(san)年丹成,未敢服餌,謂弟子(zi)曰,神(shen)(shen)丹已成,然(ran)未有大功(gong)于(yu)(yu)(yu)世,須(xu)為(wei)國(guo)家除害(hai)興利,以(yi)濟(ji)民(min)庶,然(ran)后服丹即輕舉,臣事三(san)境,庶無愧焉(yan)。老君尋遣(qian)清(qing)和玉女,教以(yi)吐(tu)納清(qing)和之法(fa)(fa),修(xiu)行千日,能內見五臟,外集外神(shen)(shen)。六天(tian)妖魔(mo)(mo),盡被降(jiang)伏。先(xian)時蜀(shu)中魔(mo)(mo)鬼(gui)(gui)數萬,白(bai)晝(zhou)為(wei)市,擅行疫癘(li),生民(min)久(jiu)蒙(meng)(meng)其(qi)害(hai),自六天(tian)大魔(mo)(mo)被降(jiang)之后,張(zhang)道陵斥(chi)其(qi)鬼(gui)(gui)眾(zhong),散處(chu)西北(bei)不毛(mao)之地,與之為(wei)誓曰,人主于(yu)(yu)(yu)晝(zhou),鬼(gui)(gui)行于(yu)(yu)(yu)夜,陰陽分(fen)別,各有司存,違者(zhe)正一有法(fa)(fa),必(bi)加(jia)誅戳(chuo)。于(yu)(yu)(yu)是幽冥異(yi)域,人鬼(gui)(gui)殊途(tu),大利蜀(shu)民(min)。功(gong)成蒙(meng)(meng)太上(shang)冊封正一天(tian)師。
永壽二年(nian)九(jiu)月九(jiu)日(ri)至云臺(tai)治,以余丹,及印,劍,都功(gong)符箓(lu),授(shou)子衡(heng)曰:“吾(wu)遇太(tai)上親傳至道(dao),此文總領(ling)三五都功(gong),正(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)一(yi)樞要。世(shi)世(shi)一(yi)子紹吾(wu)之位,非吾(wu)宗親子孫不得傳。”《正(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)一(yi)經》云:“太(tai)上親授(shou)天師《太(tai)玄經》有(you)二百七(qi)十(shi)卷,推檢是漢安元年(nian)七(qi)月得是經。”是日(ri)同弟(di)子王長、趙(zhao)升(sheng)(sheng),于今四川省蒼溪縣境(jing)的云臺(tai)山(shan)上與夫人雍(yong)氏白日(ri)飛升(sheng)(sheng)。是為(wei)(wei)正(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)一(yi)道(dao)第一(yi)代(dai)張天師,而(er)為(wei)(wei)天師道(dao)正(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)(zheng)一(yi)教祖。
永平二年赴“直言極諫科”而中之,漢明帝時拜巴郡江州令(今重慶),不(bu)(bu)久退隱(yin)北邙(mang)山中(今河南洛陽附(fu)近),修持煉(lian)形合氣(qi),辟谷少(shao)寢長生之道。建(jian)初五(wu)年詔(zhao)舉賢良方正不(bu)(bu)起,復征為博士(shi),封冀縣侯,三詔(zhao)不(bu)(bu)就。后入(ru)吳,又愛蜀中溪嶺深秀(xiu),遂入(ru)蜀隱(yin)于鶴(he)鳴山,修神丹符咒(zhou)之術(shu)。
張道(dao)陵有弟(di)子王長、趙升隨其習黃老之道(dao),助(zhu)煉龍虎大丹(dan),丹(dan)成,服之返老還童(tong),且去(qu)游而參訪仙源。
一日,在北岳嵩山遇繡衣使(shi)者(zhe)告(gao)訴他說:“中峰石室(shi)內(nei),藏(zang)有(you)《三皇秘典》、《黃帝九(jiu)鼎丹書》,得而(er)修(xiu)之,可(ke)以升天!”于是張道陵齋戒而(er)入石室(shi),果然得到(dao)丹經道書,遂赴云錦山(即龍虎山),精思修(xiu)煉,而(er)得分形散影(ying)之術。
一日(ri)(ri)夜半(ban)似(si)醒似(si)夢之(zhi)間,忽見那太上老君下(xia)降,對張道陵說:“近來蜀中有六大魔王(wang),狂(kuang)暴(bao)生民,你前往治之(zhi)則功(gong)德無量,名錄丹臺(tai)矣!”乃(nai)授以(yi)“正(zheng)一盟威符箓(lu)”,三五斬邪雌雄劍、陽平治都功(gong)印、平頂(ding)冠、八卦(gua)衣、方裙、朱履(lv)等。以(yi)千(qian)日(ri)(ri)為期,約會于閬苑。
張道陵拜(bai)領老君所授(shou),日(ri)昧秘文,能集(ji)三萬六千(qian)神(shen)靈、千(qian)二百之官君,以供驅(qu)使。他隨即往青城山(shan),置琉璃高座,左供元始天尊,右供三十六部尊經(jing),立(li)十絕靈幡,鳴鐘(zhong)叩磬,布(bu)龍(long)虎神(shen)兵,施起法力。
魔(mo)王(wang)鬼帥同聲哀求,盡被折服(fu),表(biao)示再不敢虐民(min)。張道(dao)陵乃收八部(bu)鬼神,降伏六天魔(mo)王(wang),群(qun)妖乃滅表(biao)絕(jue)跡。他則遂與弟子(zi)王(wang)長、趙升往今四(si)川省蒼溪縣境的云臺卜居(ju)其地(di)繼續修煉。
既伏妖魔,老君乃(nai)(nai)命(ming)使者下降來告道:“子之功業合得九真上(shang)仙(xian)之位,但滅鬼過多,未免殺氣穢空,非大道好生之旨。子須再(zai)修三千(qian)六日,吾待(dai)子于上(shang)清八景(jing)宮中。”于是道陵乃(nai)(nai)偕弟子王長(chang)、趙(zhao)升復往今(jin)四(si)川省蒼溪縣境(jing)的云臺山,精修二十(shi)余年。
永壽(shou)元年(nian)正(zheng)(zheng)月,據說太上(shang)老(lao)君與眾真(zhen)復(fu)降,為(wei)(wei)張道陵說:“北斗(dou)延(yan)生真(zhen)經”及“三(san)(san)八謝(xie)罪(zui)法懺”。永壽(shou)二年(nian)春,會三(san)(san)界(jie)萬神于青城(cheng)山(shan)黃帝(di)壇下,盟(meng)五岳四(si)瀆,立二十四(si)治(zhi),福(fu)庭鬼(gui)獄。定三(san)(san)十會真(zhen)壇與六十通真(zhen)靖,七十二福(fu)地,命(ming)人處明陽(yang)、鬼(gui)處幽陰,各(ge)治(zhi)設祭酒(jiu)與男官(guan)(guan)、婦官(guan)(guan),以贊(zan)玄(xuan)化。其時,道教始有正(zheng)(zheng)規教團組織。 張道陵率弟(di)子復(fu)游(you)各(ge)地,斬妖(yao)巷(xiang)孽(nie)、奪鹽池,建功立德,造福(fu)蜀民。據稱(cheng),功成后蒙太上(shang)老(lao)君冊(ce)封為(wei)(wei)正(zheng)(zheng)一天(tian)師(shi)。
永壽(shou)二年九(jiu)(jiu)月九(jiu)(jiu)日至(zhi)四(si)川彰(zhang)明縣(今江油(you)市)境的(de)靈臺(tai)山(shan),見絕(jue)巖(yan)下(xia)桃熟,命王(wang)、趙(zhao)二弟子(zi)投身取(qu)之,遂亦下(xia)傳(chuan)其(qi)真道(dao)(dao)。后(hou)以余(yu)余(yu)丹(dan)及印、劍、都功(gong)符錄。授(shou)子(zi)衡曰:“吾(wu)遇(yu)太上(shang)親傳(chuan)至(zhi)道(dao)(dao),此文(wen)總領(ling)三萬(wan)都功(gong),正一(yi)樞(shu)要,世世一(yi)子(zi)紹吾(wu)之位,非(fei)吾(wu)宗親子(zi)孫不得傳(chuan)。”《正一(yi)經(jing)》云:“太上(shang)親授(shou)天師《太玄(xuan)經(jing)》有(you)二百七十卷,推檢是漢(han)安元年七月得是經(jing)。”是日,以丹(dan)分付弟子(zi)王(wang)長、趙(zhao)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),于今四(si)川省(sheng)蒼溪縣境的(de)云臺(tai)山(shan)峰與夫人雍氏乘(cheng)云上(shang)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),在人間123歲,女兒(er)文(wen)姬(ji)、文(wen)光、賢姬(ji)、芳芝皆(jie)得道(dao)(dao)上(shang)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。
張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵因(yin)在蜀漢之(zhi)境設二(er)十四治,為(wei)(wei)布化行道(dao)(dao)的機構,凡(fan)入道(dao)(dao)者交五米為(wei)(wei)信,歷史(shi)上南(nan)北朝(chao)經常以前(qian)對(dui)中央(yang)朝(chao)廷有反叛性質因(yin)素,以及漢末張(zhang)魯(lu)聚(ju)眾(zhong)自立(li),故(gu)有史(shi)家因(yin)而(er)稱其(qi)教(jiao)為(wei)(wei)“五斗(dou)米道(dao)(dao)”。因(yin)張(zhang)陵為(wei)(wei)五斗(dou)米教(jiao)第一代天師,故(gu)教(jiao)徒尊稱“祖天師”。人們又(you)稱其(qi)教(jiao)為(wei)(wei)“天師道(dao)(dao)”。張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵尊老(lao)子(zi)為(wei)(wei)教(jiao)祖,奉《老(lao)子(zi)五千文》為(wei)(wei)最高經典,并自編《老(lao)子(zi)想(xiang)(xiang)爾注》發揮(hui)老(lao)子(zi)的道(dao)(dao)家思想(xiang)(xiang)。以“道(dao)(dao)”為(wei)(wei)最高信仰,將“道(dao)(dao)”和(he)老(lao)子(zi)相提并論,宣稱即是“一”,“二(er)散為(wei)(wei)氣,聚(ju)形為(wei)(wei)太上老(lao)君”。
唐玄宗(zong)天寶(bao)七(qi)年(nian)(748年(nian)),因老(lao)子(zi)之(zhi)故(gu)冊贈(zeng)張道(dao)陵為“太師(shi)”。禧宗(zong)中(zhong)和四年(nian)(884年(nian)),封為“三(san)天扶教大法(fa)師(shi)”。宋徽宗(zong)大觀二年(nian)(1108年(nian)),冊贈(zeng)“正(zheng)一(yi)靖(jing)應真(zhen)君(jun)(jun)”,理宗(zong)加(jia)封“三(san)天扶教輔元大法(fa)師(shi),正(zheng)一(yi)靖(jing)應顯佑(you)(you)真(zhen)君(jun)(jun)”。元成宗(zong)加(jia)封“正(zheng)一(yi)沖(chong)玄神化靜(jing)應顯佑(you)(you)真(zhen)君(jun)(jun)”。明崇(chong)禎皇帝(di)加(jia)贈(zeng)“六合無(wu)窮高明上帝(di)”。正(zheng)一(yi)派稱(cheng)祖天師(shi)、泰玄上相、大圣降魔護道(dao)天尊。
因嗣(si)第四代天(tian)師(shi)張(zhang)盛(sheng)將天(tian)師(shi)法裔(yi)由陜西(xi)(xi)漢中(zhong)遷居江西(xi)(xi)省龍虎山中(zhong)。從張(zhang)盛(sheng)以(yi)后道陵祖師(shi)歷代子孫皆住在龍虎山中(zhong),一(yi)(yi)直到63代天(tian)師(shi)張(zhang)恩溥。1949年,張(zhang)恩溥隨(sui)蔣介石退往臺灣(wan),攜帶長子張(zhang)允(yun)賢和祖傳(chuan)“玉印”及“法劍(jian)”一(yi)(yi)口。現貴溪縣(xian)上清(qing)鎮天(tian)師(shi)府(fu)即其遺脈(mo)。
正(zheng)一(yi)道(dao)(dao)是(shi)張道(dao)(dao)陵創立并由其(qi)子孫世襲(xi)相傳,以老子為(wei)教主(zhu),為(wei)最(zui)高(gao)信仰,符箓齋醮為(wei)傳播方式,以追(zhui)求長(chang)生不死和成(cheng)仙為(wei)最(zui)高(gao)境界的一(yi)種宗教組織(zhi)。由于張道(dao)(dao)陵開始(shi)煉丹修道(dao)(dao)于龍虎(hu)山,于是(shi)龍虎(hu)山可(ke)稱為(wei)中國道(dao)(dao)教第一(yi)山。張道(dao)(dao)陵是(shi)正(zheng)一(yi)道(dao)(dao)創始(shi)人,他是(shi)祖天師,又稱第一(yi)代天師。
從東漢(han)張道(dao)(dao)陵正式創立正一教派至今,天(tian)師道(dao)(dao)在(zai)中國已經有近2000年的(de)(de)(de)歷史。正一道(dao)(dao)在(zai)自身傳承發展的(de)(de)(de)過程中,不斷(duan)汲取中華傳統(tong)(tong)文化(hua)的(de)(de)(de)精髓,是中華傳統(tong)(tong)文化(hua)的(de)(de)(de)主要思想支柱之一。
張道陵攜(xie)弟子王長游淮入鄱陽,登樂平雩子峰,溯信(xin)江(jiang)西(xi)貴溪云錦山(shan)煉“九天神丹”,“丹成而(er)龍(long)虎見,山(shan)因(yin)(yin)以名。”(即江(jiang)西(xi)鷹潭龍(long)虎山(shan),因(yin)(yin)“丹成而(er)龍(long)虎現”,故改甸為龍(long)虎山(shan))
張道陵在(zai)(zai)龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)(shan)用(yong)三(san)年時(shi)間煉(lian)成(cheng)九天神丹(dan)(dan)后,已六十余矣,吃了(le)神丹(dan)(dan)容貌益少,“返老還童”,像30歲左右的人。接(jie)著又在(zai)(zai)龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)(shan)東北邊的西(xi)仙源壁魯洞,得(de)神虎(hu)秘(mi)文,并建立天師草(cao)堂,廣傳弟(di)子,為(wei)人治病(bing),到(dao)他(ta)經嵩山(shan)(shan)二人巴(ba)蜀時(shi),已經90多歲了(le)。由(you)此可見,張道陵在(zai)(zai)龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)(shan)煉(lian)丹(dan)(dan)修道講課時(shi)間長達30余年,這(zhe)段不算短的日子,是他(ta)煉(lian)丹(dan)(dan)學道的主要時(shi)期(qi)。如(ru)今“煉(lian)丹(dan)(dan)池(chi)”、“濯鼎池(chi)”、“習升臺”、“天師草(cao)堂”等遺(yi)址仍在(zai)(zai),壁魯洞中的石(shi)灶石(shi)床(chuang)石(shi)幾俱(ju)存,多種(zhong)史籍均有記(ji)載(zai),多處(chu)遺(yi)址歷歷可考(kao)。正如(ru)葛(ge)洪(hong)在(zai)(zai)《神仙傳》中所述:“陵初入龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)(shan),合丹(dan)(dan)斗(dou)劑,雖(sui)未沖舉(ju),已成(cheng)地仙。”可見他(ta)那時(shi)的道學功(gong)底(di)已經相(xiang)當深(shen)厚了(le)。
張道(dao)陵第二次(ci)攜弟子王長嵩山(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)巴(ba)蜀已過九(jiu)十高齡。為什么耄(mao)耋之(zhi)年還要(yao)入(ru)蜀,一是“聞(wen)蜀人(ren)(ren)多純厚,易于激化,且多名山(shan)(shan)(shan)”,對創教(jiao)有(you)利(li);二是“聞(wen)巴(ba)蜀疹氣危害人(ren)(ren)體(ti),百姓為病(bing)疫災厄所困”,他(ta)(ta)要(yao)繼續用符、丹為人(ren)(ren)治病(bing),佐國(guo)佑民。入(ru)川后(hou),他(ta)(ta)先居陽平山(shan)(shan)(shan),后(hou)住(zhu)鶴鳴山(shan)(shan)(shan),還到了西(xi)城(cheng)(cheng)山(shan)(shan)(shan)、葛潰山(shan)(shan)(shan)、秦中山(shan)(shan)(shan)、昌利(li)山(shan)(shan)(shan)、涌泉山(shan)(shan)(shan)、真(zhen)都山(shan)(shan)(shan)、北平山(shan)(shan)(shan)、青(qing)城(cheng)(cheng)山(shan)(shan)(shan),精思煉志,著作(zuo)道(dao)書(shu)24篇,足(zu)跡遍及巴(ba)蜀、陜(shan)西(xi)等地。他(ta)(ta)收徒(tu)設教(jiao),建立道(dao)教(jiao)基(ji)層組(zu)織,凡(fan)入(ru)道(dao)者須出信米(mi)五斗(dou)(漢時一斗(dou)等于當代二升,五斗(dou)即等于2014年一斗(dou)),“付天倉”以備(bei)饑荒和(he)作(zuo)“義舍”之(zhi)用。
順帝漢(han)(han)安(an)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)年(公元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)142年,時張陵109歲),五月(yue)(yue)一日(ri),“太(tai)上親降”,授以(yi)三天正法(fa),命陵為(wei)“天師”,又授正一科術要(yao)道(dao)法(fa)文。其年七(qi)月(yue)(yue)七(qi)日(ri),又授(陵)《正一盟威妙經(jing)(jing)》,重(zhong)為(wei)“三天法(fa)師正一真人”。“漢(han)(han)安(an)二(er)(er)年(公元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)143年),太(tai)上以(yi)漢(han)(han)安(an)二(er)(er)年正月(yue)(yue)七(qi)日(ri)申時二(er)(er)十四治,付天師張陵奉行(xing)布化(hua)。”按《正一經(jing)(jing)》云:“太(tai)上親授天師《太(tai)玄經(jing)(jing)》有二(er)(er)百(bai)七(qi)十卷(juan),推檢是(shi)漢(han)(han)安(an)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)年七(qi)月(yue)(yue)得是(shi)經(jing)(jing)。”自此(ci)功成道(dao)著分領(ling)二(er)(er)十四治,第子戶至數萬,道(dao)教遂(sui)大行(xing)于巴蜀一帶(dai)。東漢(han)(han)恒帝永壽二(er)(er)年(公元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)156年),張陵123歲,是(shi)年九(jiu)月(yue)(yue)九(jiu)日(ri),將諸秘錄、斬(zhan)邪二(er)(er)劍、玉(yu)冊、玉(yu)印授長子衡(heng),乃與(yu)夫人雍氏登(deng)云臺峰(feng),白(bai)日(ri)升(sheng)化(hua)。
自“祖天(tian)師(shi)正一(yi)道(dao)(dao)”創立(li)(li)以(yi)(yi)來,歷為(wei)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)所尊(zun),認為(wei)它是正一(yi)盟威(wei)之道(dao)(dao),是伐誅邪偽、整(zheng)理鬼氣、統(tong)承三天(tian)、佐國佑民、新出(chu)(chu)治世的真道(dao)(dao),即(ji)真一(yi)無二的正道(dao)(dao)。時人尊(zun)張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)為(wei)人天(tian)之師(shi),又稱(cheng)天(tian)師(shi)道(dao)(dao)。宋元(yuan)以(yi)(yi)來,三山符錄(lu)統(tong)歸龍虎山,遂(sui)統(tong)稱(cheng)為(wei)正一(yi)道(dao)(dao),以(yi)(yi)區別金元(yuan)之際在北方興起(qi)的全真道(dao)(dao)。 關于(yu)(yu)張(zhang)陵(ling)創立(li)(li)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)的過程,《道(dao)(dao)藏》多處記(ji)載,葛洪(hong)在其所著(zhu)《神仙傳》中說: “......聞蜀(shu)人多純厚(hou),易可(ke)(ke)教(jiao)化(hua),且(qie)多名山。乃(nai)與弟子(zi)入蜀(shu),住鶴鳴(ming)山,著(zhu)作(zuo)道(dao)(dao)書二十四篇,乃(nai)精思煉志。忽有(you)天(tian)人下(xia)降,千乘馬騎(qi),金車羽蓋(gai),驂龍駕虎,不可(ke)(ke)勝數。或自稱(cheng)柱下(xia)史,或稱(cheng)東(dong)海小童,乃(nai)授陵(ling)以(yi)(yi)新出(chu)(chu)正一(yi)盟威(wei)之道(dao)(dao)。陵(ling)受之,能治病,于(yu)(yu)是百姓翕然,奉(feng)事(shi)之以(yi)(yi)為(wei)師(shi)。弟子(zi)戶至數萬,即(ji)立(li)(li)祭(ji)酒,分領其戶,有(you)如長官......”。
傳(chuan)說東漢順帝年間某夜(ye),太(tai)上(shang)老君降臨在(zai)(zai)他(ta)住(zhu)的(de)地方,授給(gei)他(ta)雌雄劍(jian)和(he)許多符箓,要他(ta)誅滅橫行四川的(de)六(liu)大(da)(da)魔(mo)(mo)王(wang)、八(ba)大(da)(da)鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)帥。張(zhang)(zhang)道陵精(jing)修千日,煉成(cheng)了(le)種種降魔(mo)(mo)的(de)法術。不(bu)久八(ba)部鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)帥各領鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)兵(bing)共億(yi)萬(wan)數為害(hai)(hai)人(ren)間,他(ta)們帶來(lai)各種瘟疫疾病、殘害(hai)(hai)眾(zhong)生。張(zhang)(zhang)道陵于是在(zai)(zai)青城(cheng)山上(shang)設(she)下道壇,鳴鐘扣(kou)罄,呼風喚(huan)雨指揮(hui)神兵(bing)和(he)這些(xie)惡鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)大(da)(da)戰。張(zhang)(zhang)道陵站立在(zai)(zai)琉璃座(zuo)上(shang),任(ren)何刀箭一(yi)接近他(ta)就立刻變(bian)成(cheng)了(le)蓮花。鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)眾(zhong)又放火來(lai)燒(shao),真(zhen)人(ren)用(yong)手一(yi)指,火焰又燒(shao)了(le)回(hui)去。鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)帥一(yi)怒又招(zhao)來(lai)千軍萬(wan)馬重重包圍(wei),不(bu)料真(zhen)人(ren)用(yong)丹筆一(yi)畫(hua),所有鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)兵(bing)和(he)八(ba)大(da)(da)鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)士都紛(fen)紛(fen)叩(kou)(kou)頭(tou)(tou)求(qiu)饒(rao)。但(dan)是他(ta)們口(kou)服心不(bu)服,回(hui)去后(hou)又請來(lai)六(liu)大(da)(da)魔(mo)(mo)王(wang),率領鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)兵(bing)百萬(wan)圍(wei)攻青城(cheng)山。張(zhang)(zhang)道陵神閑氣(qi)定,不(bu)為所動,他(ta)只(zhi)用(yong)丹筆輕輕一(yi)畫(hua),所有的(de)鬼(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)都死光了(le),只(zhi)剩下六(liu)大(da)(da)魔(mo)(mo)王(wang)倒在(zai)(zai)地上(shang)爬不(bu)起來(lai),只(zhi)好叩(kou)(kou)頭(tou)(tou)求(qiu)饒(rao)。張(zhang)(zhang)道陵再(zai)(zai)用(yong)大(da)(da)筆一(yi)揮(hui),一(yi)座(zuo)山分成(cheng)兩半把六(liu)個魔(mo)(mo)王(wang)困在(zai)(zai)里面,動彈不(bu)得。于是魔(mo)(mo)王(wang)只(zhi)得答應永世不(bu)再(zai)(zai)為害(hai)(hai)人(ren)間。
東漢桓帝(di)永壽元年九月九日(ri),在四川云臺山(今(jin)蒼溪縣云峰鎮境(jing)內)中,玉皇大帝(di)派遣使者持(chi)玉冊(ce),封張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)為正一真人(ren),他(ta)在逝世(shi)前授給長子(zi)衡斬邪(xie)二劍(jian),叫他(ta)要驅邪(xie)誅妖,佐國安民(min),世(shi)世(shi)由(you)一個子(zi)嗣來繼承(cheng)他(ta)教主(zhu)的地(di)位。囑咐完畢,張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)就和弟(di)子(zi)王長、趙(zhao)升三人(ren)一起升天(tian)而去,而他(ta)所創立的天(tian)師(shi)道(dao)(dao)一直在民(min)間(jian)傳(chuan)到今(jin)天(tian)。
靈(ling)臺(tai)山(shan),位(wei)于四(si)(si)川彰明(ming)縣(xian)(今(jin)江油(you)市)境(jing)內。東漢時期(qi),張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵在川西、川北和漢中地區設道(dao)(dao)場或教會(hui),共二(er)(er)十(shi)四(si)(si)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(后來與二(er)(er)十(shi)八(ba)(ba)(ba)宿合并增加到二(er)(er)十(shi)八(ba)(ba)(ba)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi))。漢安二(er)(er)年天(tian)師(shi)張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵設立(li)的(de)二(er)(er)十(shi)四(si)(si)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),分上品(pin)八(ba)(ba)(ba)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、中品(pin)八(ba)(ba)(ba)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、下(xia)品(pin)八(ba)(ba)(ba)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。云(yun)(yun)臺(tai)山(shan)是下(xia)品(pin)八(ba)(ba)(ba)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)的(de)第一治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(《云(yun)(yun)笈(ji)七(qi)(qi)簽(qian)》卷廿八(ba)(ba)(ba)《廿四(si)(si)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)》)。《道(dao)(dao)藏》中的(de)《珠(zhu)囊》引《二(er)(er)十(shi)四(si)(si)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)圖(tu)》、《七(qi)(qi)簽(qian)·蜀中廣記(ji)(ji)》引《二(er)(er)十(shi)四(si)(si)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)圖(tu)》、《洞天(tian)福地岳(yue)瀆名山(shan)記(ji)(ji)》、《天(tian)師(shi)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)儀(yi)》以及清(qing)人(ren)彭定求的(de)《道(dao)(dao)藏精(jing)要》中,均(jun)說靈(ling)山(shan)治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)巴西彰明(ming)縣(xian)。《太平寰(huan)宇記(ji)(ji)》卷八(ba)(ba)(ba)十(shi)三(san)記(ji)(ji)載(zai),“彰明(ming)縣(xian)……靈(ling)臺(tai)山(shan)在縣(xian)北,一名天(tian)柱山(shan),高(gao)四(si)(si)百丈(zhang),漢張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵昇(sheng)仙之所。又《郡國志(zhi)》云(yun)(yun):‘靈(ling)臺(tai)山(shan)天(tian)柱巖下(xia)有一桃樹,高(gao)五丈(zhang),外皮似松,道(dao)(dao)陵與王長、趙昇(sheng)試法於(wu)此。’四(si)(si)百馀年,桃迄今(jin)未朽(xiu),小碑記(ji)(ji)之。”
辭州令北邙(mang)修道(dao)(dao)張(zhang)(zhang)陵,道(dao)(dao)教稱張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵,字輔漢(han),沛國豐邑(yi)(今江蘇(su)豐縣)人。生(sheng)于東漢(han)光武帝十(shi)年(公(gong)元34年)正(zheng)月十(shi)五日晚上。他的祖先為“漢(han)初三杰”之(zhi)一的留(liu)侯張(zhang)(zhang)良。張(zhang)(zhang)良輔佐劉邦打天下,建立了兩漢(han)王朝,被(bei)封為“留(liu)侯”。而張(zhang)(zhang)良功成身退,飄然(ran)而去,隨赤松子(zi)學辟谷,導引(yin)輕身之(zhi)術。
張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)父(fu)親叫(jiao)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)大(da)順(shun),也好(hao)神(shen)(shen)仙(xian)之(zhi)(zhi)術(shu)(shu)(shu),自稱(cheng)“桐柏真人”,所(suo)(suo)以,生(sheng)下兒子,即取名(ming)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“陵(ling)(ling)(ling)”,希望(wang)將來(lai)能追隨先(xian)祖(zu),遠離(li)塵世(shi)(shi),登陵(ling)(ling)(ling)成(cheng)(cheng)仙(xian)。張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)自幼聰(cong)慧,七歲(sui)時,開(kai)始學習儒家“五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing)”,以后(hou),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)斷學習到(dao)(dao)(dao)社(she)會(hui)(hui)上(shang)流傳的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)天(tian)(tian)(tian)文、地(di)理一(yi)類的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)書(shu)。他(ta)(ta)刻(ke)苦學習,立志(zhi)(zhi)做官,并想(xiang)(xiang)輔(fu)佐漢(han)室,榮(rong)宗耀祖(zu)。志(zhi)(zhi)向和(he)(he)毅力(li)鼓舞著他(ta)(ta),最(zui)后(hou),他(ta)(ta)進(jin)入了(le)(le)(le)(le)全(quan)國(guo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高(gao)等學府——洛(luo)(luo)陽(yang)(yang)太學,在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)這(zhe)里他(ta)(ta)博通(tong)五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing),成(cheng)(cheng)了(le)(le)(le)(le)一(yi)名(ming)飽學之(zhi)(zhi)士。張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)太學畢業(ye)后(hou),他(ta)(ta)想(xiang)(xiang)跟他(ta)(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)老(lao)(lao)師(shi)一(yi)樣來(lai)授(shou)(shou)徒講(jiang)經(jing)(jing),一(yi)舉成(cheng)(cheng)名(ming)。他(ta)(ta)先(xian)后(hou)到(dao)(dao)(dao)南方(fang)(fang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)目(mu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)南的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)神(shen)(shen)仙(xian)觀(guan)和(he)(he)西北的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)通(tong)仙(xian)觀(guan),設立講(jiang)堂,教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)授(shou)(shou)五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing)。數年(nian)(nian)(nian)間,學生(sheng)有(you)千人之(zhi)(zhi)多,鄉人稱(cheng)他(ta)(ta)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“大(da)儒”,名(ming)傳一(yi)方(fang)(fang)。漢(han)明帝(di)(di)永(yong)平二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公(gong)元59年(nian)(nian)(nian)),張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)二十五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)歲(sui),被郡(jun)守以“賢良”推(tui)薦到(dao)(dao)(dao)朝廷(ting),后(hou)來(lai),到(dao)(dao)(dao)洛(luo)(luo)陽(yang)(yang)經(jing)(jing)過考(kao)核,一(yi)舉中(zhong)(zhong)了(le)(le)(le)(le)“賢良方(fang)(fang)正極言直(zhi)(zhi)諫科”,被朝廷(ting)授(shou)(shou)予巴郡(jun)江(jiang)州(zhou)(今重慶市)令。在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)江(jiang)州(zhou)令任上(shang),他(ta)(ta)看透了(le)(le)(le)(le)地(di)方(fang)(fang)強權(quan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)橫(heng)行(xing),為(wei)(wei)(wei)官的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)貪贓枉法,老(lao)(lao)百(bai)(bai)姓食不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)果腹怨聲載道(dao)(dao)(dao)。他(ta)(ta)又(you)想(xiang)(xiang)到(dao)(dao)(dao)自己為(wei)(wei)(wei)一(yi)介(jie)書(shu)生(sheng)、小小縣令,怎么(me)也改變不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)了(le)(le)(le)(le)這(zhe)樣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)世(shi)(shi)道(dao)(dao)(dao),倒(dao)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)如(ru)效法先(xian)祖(zu)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)良,出離(li)塵世(shi)(shi),善保自身,以圖(tu)延年(nian)(nian)(nian)益壽罷(ba)了(le)(le)(le)(le)于(yu)是,張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)約在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)明帝(di)(di)末年(nian)(nian)(nian),謝絕了(le)(le)(le)(le)朝廷(ting)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)一(yi)再挽(wan)留,辭去(qu)江(jiang)州(zhou)令職,便北上(shang)洛(luo)(luo)陽(yang)(yang),隱居(ju)北邙山(shan)(shan)(shan)中(zhong)(zhong),潛心(xin)修習黃(huang)老(lao)(lao)長(chang)生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。他(ta)(ta)研讀了(le)(le)(le)(le)《道(dao)(dao)(dao)德(de)經(jing)(jing)》、《河圖(tu)》、《洛(luo)(luo)書(shu)》以及(ji)讖緯(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)學。三(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)后(hou),得(de)《黃(huang)帝(di)(di)九(jiu)鼎丹(dan)法》,相傳神(shen)(shen)獸白虎(hu)(hu)銜符而至其所(suo)(suo),其道(dao)(dao)(dao)術(shu)(shu)(shu)日益完(wan)善。 漢(han)光武帝(di)(di)由讖緯(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)說登上(shang)皇帝(di)(di)寶座,晚年(nian)(nian)(nian),深(shen)信(xin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)疑,遂“宣布圖(tu)讖于(yu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)下”。漢(han)明帝(di)(di)繼(ji)位(wei)后(hou),秉承皇帝(di)(di)遺旨,宣揚(yang)圖(tu)讖,又(you)派(pai)人西天(tian)(tian)(tian)求(qiu)(qiu)法,引佛教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)于(yu)中(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)。漢(han)章(zhang)帝(di)(di)建初五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公(gong)元80年(nian)(nian)(nian)),在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)京(jing)城舉行(xing)了(le)(le)(le)(le)白虎(hu)(hu)觀(guan)會(hui)(hui)議,章(zhang)帝(di)(di)主(zhu)(zhu)持(chi)以圖(tu)讖證(zheng)五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing),也就(jiu)是以神(shen)(shen)學來(lai)講(jiang)五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing),聽(ting)說北邙山(shan)(shan)(shan)有(you)個張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling),便征召他(ta)(ta)為(wei)(wei)(wei)經(jing)(jing)學博士,張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)無心(xin)輔(fu)佐漢(han)室,便避而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見。和(he)(he)帝(di)(di)永(yong)元四年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公(gong)元92年(nian)(nian)(nian)),朝廷(ting)又(you)下詔(zhao)(zhao)征張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)為(wei)(wei)(wei)太傅,封兾縣侯,但張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)卻(que)視祿為(wei)(wei)(wei)糞土,所(suo)(suo)以三(san)(san)(san)詔(zhao)(zhao)而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)就(jiu)。張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)對來(lai)使(shi)說:“人生(sheng)在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)世(shi)(shi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)過百(bai)(bai)歲(sui),光陰荏苒,轉瞬便逝。父(fu)母隆恩,妻不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)厚愛,也隨時而消(xiao)失。君臣之(zhi)(zhi)恩,誰(shui)見長(chang)久?請轉告(gao)圣上(shang),只要清靜寡欲(yu),無為(wei)(wei)(wei)而治,天(tian)(tian)(tian)下自然大(da)定(ding),我(wo)有(you)何用?我(wo)志(zhi)(zhi)在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)青山(shan)(shan)(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)!”為(wei)(wei)(wei)了(le)(le)(le)(le)避開(kai)京(jing)都近郊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)俗務嘈雜和(he)(he)騷(sao)擾(rao),張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)決心(xin)離(li)開(kai)云游名(ming)山(shan)(shan)(shan)大(da)川(chuan)、訪求(qiu)(qiu)仙(xian)術(shu)(shu)(shu)去(qu)了(le)(le)(le)(le)。鶴鳴山(shan)(shan)(shan)創(chuang)派(pai)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)先(xian)是南游淮河,居(ju)桐柏太平山(shan)(shan)(shan),后(hou)與弟子王(wang)長(chang)一(yi)起,渡江(jiang)南下,在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)江(jiang)西貴溪縣云錦山(shan)(shan)(shan)住了(le)(le)(le)(le)下來(lai)。這(zhe)里山(shan)(shan)(shan)清水秀,景色清幽,傳說為(wei)(wei)(wei)古仙(xian)人棲息之(zhi)(zhi)所(suo)(suo),張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)就(jiu)在(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)(zai)山(shan)(shan)(shan)上(shang)結廬而居(ju),并筑壇煉(lian)丹(dan),經(jing)(jing)過三(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)而九(jiu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)神(shen)(shen)丹(dan)煉(lian)成(cheng)(cheng);而龍(long)(long)虎(hu)(hu)出現,所(suo)(suo)以,此山(shan)(shan)(shan)又(you)稱(cheng)龍(long)(long)虎(hu)(hu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)。六十多歲(sui)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling),服下神(shen)(shen)丹(dan),身體健(jian)如(ru)青壯(zhuang)年(nian)(nian)(nian),后(hou)又(you)得(de)秘書(shu)以及(ji)驅鬼(gui)之(zhi)(zhi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)。為(wei)(wei)(wei)了(le)(le)(le)(le)廣(guang)傳道(dao)(dao)(dao)術(shu)(shu)(shu),他(ta)(ta)離(li)開(kai)龍(long)(long)虎(hu)(hu)山(shan)(shan)(shan),又(you)到(dao)(dao)(dao)蜀郡(jun)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)鶴鳴山(shan)(shan)(shan)去(qu)了(le)(le)(le)(le)東漢(han)順(shun)帝(di)(di)漢(han)安元年(nian)(nian)(nian)(公(gong)元142年(nian)(nian)(nian)),張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)為(wei)(wei)(wei)了(le)(le)(le)(le)嚴(yan)密(mi)組織紀律,加(jia)強對教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)眾的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)信(xin)仰宣傳。規(gui)定(ding)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)眾要信(xin)仰元始天(tian)(tian)(tian)尊和(he)(he)太上(shang)老(lao)(lao)君,除每年(nian)(nian)(nian)五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)月(yue)(yue)、臘月(yue)(yue)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)吉日祭(ji)祀祖(zu)先(xian),二月(yue)(yue)八日祭(ji)灶(zao)神(shen)(shen)外,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)準(zhun)祭(ji)其它的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)神(shen)(shen),更不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)準(zhun)胡亂行(xing)祭(ji)。另外,規(gui)定(ding)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)民內(nei)要慈孝,外要敬讓,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)準(zhun)興訟好(hao)斗,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)準(zhun)欺詐世(shi)(shi)人。張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)(dao)陵(ling)(ling)(ling)規(gui)定(ding):天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)全(quan)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)區最(zui)高(gao)領(ling)導(dao);初入道(dao)(dao)(dao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)道(dao)(dao)(dao)民;能為(wei)(wei)(wei)道(dao)(dao)(dao)徒和(he)(he)病人作祈禱儀(yi)式的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)道(dao)(dao)(dao)士;信(xin)仰確立并能講(jiang)授(shou)(shou)《道(dao)(dao)(dao)德(de)經(jing)(jing)》的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)祭(ji)酒(jiu)。祭(ji)酒(jiu)負責(ze)主(zhu)(zhu)持(chi)一(yi)治教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)區的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)各項教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)務工作,直(zhi)(zhi)屬天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)領(ling)導(dao),對天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)負責(ze)。每年(nian)(nian)(nian)三(san)(san)(san)會(hui)(hui)日(上(shang)會(hui)(hui):正月(yue)(yue)初七;中(zhong)(zhong)會(hui)(hui):七月(yue)(yue)七日;下會(hui)(hui):十月(yue)(yue)十五(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)日。三(san)(san)(san)會(hui)(hui)又(you)叫(jiao)三(san)(san)(san)元),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)民齊集治所(suo)(suo),聽(ting)侯祭(ji)酒(jiu)訓導(dao)檢查,聆聽(ting)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)區科律。由于(yu)傳道(dao)(dao)(dao)紀律嚴(yan)密(mi),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)風正派(pai),所(suo)(suo)以很快(kuai)得(de)到(dao)(dao)(dao)普(pu)及(ji)。
據傳,張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵有(you)弟(di)(di)子三千人,真正得(de)(de)其傳的只(zhi)有(you)三人:一(yi)為(wei)王(wang)長(chang)(chang),一(yi)為(wei)趙(zhao)升(sheng),一(yi)為(wei)其子張(zhang)(zhang)衡。王(wang)長(chang)(chang)長(chang)(chang)期跟(gen)隨師(shi)(shi)傅,擅長(chang)(chang)天(tian)文之(zhi)(zhi)學,精通黃老之(zhi)(zhi)術,深得(de)(de)張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵賞識。而(er)趙(zhao)升(sheng)能(neng)得(de)(de)師(shi)(shi)傅道(dao)(dao)法,卻(que)有(you)一(yi)段來(lai)歷:張(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)師(shi)(shi)在鶴(he)鳴山煉(lian)丹已成(cheng),并服了半劑丹藥,成(cheng)為(wei)“地仙”之(zhi)(zhi)后,他(ta)看(kan)到身邊弟(di)(di)子,多為(wei)俗態(tai)未除,不(bu)(bu)足以(yi)附托宣教(jiao)任務,將九(jiu)鼎大要(yao),留(liu)得(de)(de)奇人。后來(lai),有(you)一(yi)年上令之(zhi)(zhi)日(ri),從東方來(lai)了一(yi)位冰胎玉質、道(dao)(dao)貌安(an)然(ran)(ran)的青年,名(ming)叫趙(zhao)升(sheng),天(tian)師(shi)(shi)一(yi)眼看(kan)出定是奇人,欲收為(wei)弟(di)(di)子。為(wei)了考查(cha)趙(zhao)升(sheng)的道(dao)(dao)心程度(du),張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵曾七度(du)驗試(shi),結果(guo),發現他(ta)拒絕財(cai)色(se),忍辱負重(zhong),憐憫天(tian)下(xia)窮人,恪守正一(yi)道(dao)(dao)規,稱得(de)(de)上滿意。七試(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)后的一(yi)天(tian),張(zhang)(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵帶領眾(zhong)弟(di)(di)子,登上云臺(tai)峰絕崖(ya)(ya)(ya),崖(ya)(ya)(ya)下(xia)一(yi)棵桃樹,紅色(se)果(guo)實(shi)累(lei)累(lei)。大家見(jian)(jian)了,莫不(bu)(bu)心動(dong),但要(yao)想(xiang)獲取,卻(que)又退縮三分,天(tian)師(shi)(shi)見(jian)(jian)此(ci)情(qing)狀,二(er)話(hua)沒(mei)說,欲縱躍崖(ya)(ya)(ya)下(xia)采摘大桃,眾(zhong)弟(di)(di)子一(yi)擁而(er)上,攔住師(shi)(shi)傅,只(zhi)有(you)王(wang)長(chang)(chang)、趙(zhao)升(sheng)二(er)弟(di)(di)子,木然(ran)(ran)不(bu)(bu)動(dong),黙然(ran)(ran)不(bu)(bu)語。誰(shui)知(zhi)眾(zhong)弟(di)(di)子未阻攔住,張(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)師(shi)(shi)分開(kai)眾(zhong)人,朝(chao)桃樹方向一(yi)躍而(er)下(xia),眾(zhong)弟(di)(di)子齊(qi)站崖(ya)(ya)(ya)邊,俯(fu)身下(xia)瞰,卻(que)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)師(shi)(shi)傅蹤影(ying),一(yi)時驚駭悲啼,面面相覷(qu),無奈之(zhi)(zhi)下(xia),失望而(er)歸(gui)。
張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道陵天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)派第(di)一(yi)代(dai)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),其繼承(cheng)者為(wei)(wei)第(di)二代(dai)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)衡(非科學家(jia)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)衡)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道陵,在道教中被尊為(wei)(wei)祖(zu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),由(you)(you)于(yu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)第(di)一(yi)代(dai),所以又稱(cheng)(cheng)祖(zu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)職(zhi)位(wei)的(de)繼承(cheng)采用世襲(xi)嗣(si)教制度,祖(zu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)化去后,由(you)(you)兒子(zi)(zi)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)衡接任,史稱(cheng)(cheng)嗣(si)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。衡化去后,又由(you)(you)子(zi)(zi)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)魯接任,是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)系天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。到了第(di)四(si)代(dai)孫(sun)(sun)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)盛時,回歸遷居(ju)江(jiang)西鷹潭龍虎(hu)山,子(zi)(zi)孫(sun)(sun)世傳其業,一(yi)般稱(cheng)(cheng)第(di)幾代(dai)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。統稱(cheng)(cheng)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。民國初期,已傳至六(liu)十(shi)三(san)代(dai)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)恩薄。到六(liu)十(shi)三(san)代(dai)以后由(you)(you)于(yu)歷史原因無法(fa)認(ren)證下一(yi)代(dai)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),使得張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)職(zhi)位(wei)停傳。當(dang)初六(liu)十(shi)三(san)代(dai)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)恩薄天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)追隨蔣介石(shi)離(li)開大(da)陸(解放時被北京定為(wei)(wei)牛鬼蛇神(shen)和(he)大(da)地(di)主(zhu)),逃亡(wang)臺灣。本來要傳給長子(zi)(zi),但長子(zi)(zi)青(qing)年(nian)夭亡(wang)。張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)家(jia)一(yi)族有沒有選舉(ju)出新的(de)人選,于(yu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)至今天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)職(zhi)位(wei)懸空未定。大(da)陸內(nei)地(di)道教方面則表示不(bu)承(cheng)認(ren)任何六(liu)十(shi)四(si)代(dai)或(huo)六(liu)十(shi)五代(dai)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。臺灣自稱(cheng)(cheng)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)正統,基(ji)本只(zhi)在張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)源(yuan)先(xian)(xian)(當(dang)初在臺繼承(cheng)六(liu)十(shi)四(si)代(dai),為(wei)(wei)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)恩薄老天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)的(de)侄子(zi)(zi)。已故(gu))、張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)道禎(繼承(cheng)了張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)源(yuan)先(xian)(xian)的(de)職(zhi)位(wei)。但不(bu)承(cheng)認(ren)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)源(yuan)先(xian)(xian)為(wei)(wei)六(liu)十(shi)四(si)代(dai)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),認(ren)為(wei)(wei)只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)其代(dai)理(li))、張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)美(mei)良(liang)(六(liu)十(shi)三(san)代(dai)的(de)幺子(zi)(zi)。聲稱(cheng)(cheng)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)源(yuan)先(xian)(xian)當(dang)初造假(jia),按遺囑(zhu)自己才是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)真正人選),后面還有一(yi)群是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)不(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)氏一(yi)族天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)后裔都不(bu)確定的(de)跑出來說自己是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)張(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。各方各執一(yi)詞,真假(jia)莫辨(bian)。
自明清(qing)以來(lai)天師一脈竟(jing)是(shi)自傳,無帝王詔書認(ren)定,時至今日更無法傳承天師之位,從(cong)六十三代之后(hou)的延續情況來(lai)看,歷代天師血脈駁雜不輕可見(jian)一斑(ban)。
第(di)一(yi)、二、三、四代天(tian)師得太上老君(jun)道法親(qin)授全部成(cheng)仙。

據張源先說(shuo),“第1代(dai)(dai)(dai)天師(shi)張道陵是跟太上老君學道,得天獨厚,道法(fa)高強。歷代(dai)(dai)(dai)天師(shi)所(suo)學,當然(ran)比不上第1代(dai)(dai)(dai)天師(shi)。"而且很重(zhong)要的(de)原因(yin)就是到了宋代(dai)(dai)(dai)道家養生功法(fa)改革,宋朝之(zhi)前道教所(suo)修(xiu)功法(fa)多是從(cong)黃老列莊等道家諸子(zi)書中(zhong)所(suo)體(ti)悟(wu)與發展,按教法(fa)編書說(shuo)這(zhe)是太上法(fa)脈嫡傳。
張氏天師(shi)現在著名后裔:
張(zhang)(zhang)繼禹:“嗣漢天師”張(zhang)(zhang)道陵第六(liu)十五代后裔,中國道教(jiao)協會(hui)第八屆副(fu)會(hui)長,第十一屆全國人(ren)大(da)常(chang)委會(hui)委員。全國青聯副(fu)主(zhu)(zhu)席。西山萬壽(shou)宮(gong)主(zhu)(zhu)持(chi)。其祖父(fu)(fu)張(zhang)(zhang)祥之,為六(liu)十三代“天師”張(zhang)(zhang)恩溥之胞弟(排行老大(da)),父(fu)(fu)張(zhang)(zhang)寶訓,業(ye)縫(feng)紉。

(1)老(lao)祖天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)寶(bao)誥(gao)(gao):祖天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi),為(wei)一(yi)(yi)代天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)張(zhang)(zhang)道陵,又名張(zhang)(zhang)陵,字輔漢。東漢沛國豐邑人,漢留(liu)候張(zhang)(zhang)子房之八(ba)世孫。生(sheng)于(yu)東漢光(guang)武(wu)帝建武(wu)十年(nian)(公元34年(nian)),祖天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)降(jiang)生(sheng)前,其母夢(meng)魁星下降(jiang),感而(er)受(shou)孕。少聰穎,七歲通(tong)讀《道德經》及河洛之書。后辭官修(xiu)道。時巴(ba)蜀一(yi)(yi)帶,原(yuan)有(you)巴(ba)人信奉(feng)原(yuan)始巫(wu)教(jiao),大規模的淫祀害民。祀奉(feng)鬼(gui)妖之法教(jiao)巫(wu)師(shi)聚(ju)眾斂財,無惡不(bu)作。張(zhang)(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)攜王長(chang)、趙升等(deng)弟(di)子平定(ding)妖邪,斬殺巫(wu)師(shi),后創立正一(yi)(yi)盟威(wei)之道,為(wei)道教(jiao)開山落(luo)地之教(jiao)主。此寶(bao)誥(gao)(gao)為(wei)正一(yi)(yi)派老(lao)祖天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)寶(bao)誥(gao)(gao),區別于(yu)全(quan)真派。
(2)泰玄上相(xiang),扶教(jiao)三天(tian)(tian):泰玄,指深奧玄妙的(de)道理。上相(xiang),對宰相(xiang)的(de)尊(zun)稱。扶教(jiao),扶佐(zuo)道教(jiao)。三天(tian)(tian),指三清天(tian)(tian),謂清微天(tian)(tian)、禹馀天(tian)(tian)、大赤天(tian)(tian)。
(3)鶴鳴(ming)山(shan)上(shang)得真(zhen)傳(chuan),龍(long)虎(hu)玄壇(tan)留妙決:太上(shang)老君(jun)于(yu)(yu)鶴鳴(ming)山(shan)下降,授予張道(dao)陵天師(shi)之位。漢順帝永壽(shou)元年(nian)祖(zu)(zu)天師(shi)在鶴鳴(ming)山(shan)創建正一盟威(wei)道(dao)。祖(zu)(zu)天師(shi)曾(ceng)于(yu)(yu)云(yun)錦山(shan)筑壇(tan)煉丹,三(san)年(nian)而丹成龍(long)虎(hu)現,故云(yun)錦山(shan)又稱龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)。玄壇(tan),護法之意。
(4)三洞法(fa)箓(lu),諸品靈文:三洞,《洞真》、《洞玄》、《洞神》。法(fa)箓(lu),召(zhao)將施(shi)法(fa)之牒文。
(5)一(yi)千二(er)百之官軍,匡扶正(zheng)教:指祖天師(shi)拜領太(tai)上老君(jun)所授(shou)經文(wen)后,日解秘(mi)文(wen),可召集(ji)三萬六千之神靈、一(yi)千二(er)百之官君(jun),以供驅(qu)使。
(6)二十(shi)四品(pin)秘箓(lu),普度后人:即太(tai)上(shang)老(lao)君所授之《正一盟威(wei)二十(shi)四品(pin)法箓(lu)》。

(8)居都省而常(chang)侍上(shang)帝(di),掌(zhang)三界(jie)而度下民:都省,天(tian)界(jie)官位。三界(jie),天(tian)界(jie)、地界(jie)、人界(jie)。詞句喻意祖天(tian)師之職能。
(9)雌雄(xiong)二劍,誅斬妖精。致雨作晴,轟雷掣(che)電:雌雄(xiong)二劍,太上(shang)老君所授。詞句描(miao)繪祖(zu)天師之(zhi)(zhi)法力之(zhi)(zhi)高。
(10)如是(shi)立壇而布化,助國(guo)興邦以安民:此句喻(yu)意指祖天(tian)師立道教(jiao)教(jiao)化世人之盛德。
(11)功成行滿,白日飛升。祖(zu)師(shi)三天(tian)扶教:漢安元(yuan)年(公(gong)元(yuan)156年),同弟子王長、趙升,于(yu)云臺山與(yu)夫人(ren)雍氏共白日飛升。唐禧宗中(zhong)和四年(公(gong)元(yuan)884年),封祖(zu)天(tian)師(shi)為“三天(tian)扶教大法師(shi)”。
(12)輔(fu)玄(xuan)體(ti)道,大法天師。祖一洞玄(xuan),顯佑真君(jun):扶(fu)教,輔(fu)佐道教。玄(xuan),即道。體(ti)道,修道之過(guo)程也。南宋理宗(zong)加(jia)封“三天扶(fu)教輔(fu)元大法師,正一靖應顯佑真君(jun)”。
(13)六合無(wu)窮,高明(ming)上(shang)帝(di),大圣(sheng)降魔護(hu)道(dao)(dao)(dao)天尊(zun)。明(ming)崇(chong)禎皇帝(di)加(jia)贈祖天師為“六合無(wu)窮高明(ming)上(shang)帝(di)”。道(dao)(dao)(dao)教(jiao)界稱(cheng)“大圣(sheng)降魔護(hu)道(dao)(dao)(dao)天尊(zun)”。六合,上(shang)下和東(dong)西南北,泛指(zhi)天地宇宙。降魔,降除妖魔。護(hu)道(dao)(dao)(dao),護(hu)衛道(dao)(dao)(dao)教(jiao),天尊(zun)。對得道(dao)(dao)(dao)神仙之(zhi)尊(zun)稱(cheng)。
祖天師寶誥⑴
至心皈命禮。
本來南土,上溯蜀都(dou)⑵。先獲黃帝(di)九(jiu)鼎之丹(dan)書⑶,后(hou)侍老君兩(liang)度于玉局⑷。千軸(zhou)得修(xiu)真(zhen)之要,一時成吐納之功⑸。法(fa)箓全成,受盟威品(pin)而結璘訣⑹。正邪兩(liang)辨,奪福庭治而化咸泉⑺。德就(jiu)大(da)(da)丹(dan),道(dao)齊七政⑻。大(da)(da)悲大(da)(da)愿(yuan),大(da)(da)圣(sheng)大(da)(da)慈⑼。三(san)天(tian)扶教,輔玄體道(dao)⑽。大(da)(da)法(fa)天(tian)師,雷(lei)霆都(dou)省⑾。泰玄上相,都(dou)天(tian)大(da)(da)法(fa)主⑿。正一沖玄神化靜應顯(xian)佑真(zhen)君⒀。六合無(wu)窮高明大(da)(da)帝(di),降魔護道(dao)天(tian)尊⒁。

⑴祖天師(shi)寶(bao)誥(gao):祖天師(shi),即(ji)第一代天師(shi)張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵。東漢(han)沛國(guo)豐邑(今(jin)(jin)江蘇豐縣)人,漢(han)留(liu)候子房八世孫(sun)。建(jian)武十(shi)年(nian)正月十(shi)五(wu)夜,生于吳(wu)之天目山(shan)。少通(tong)老子之學(xue),曾官至巴郡江州令(ling)(今(jin)(jin)重慶(qing)),后棄官歸隱,立志修(xiu)道(dao)(dao),與(yu)弟子王長(chang)從(cong)淮入(ru)江西鄱陽,溯流至云(yun)錦山(shan)(今(jin)(jin)龍(long)虎山(shan)),煉(lian)九天神丹,三年(nian)丹成而龍(long)虎見(jian),山(shan)因(yin)以名(ming)。聞蜀中民風醇厚,易可教化,入(ru)蜀居鶴(he)鳴山(shan)修(xiu)道(dao)(dao)。漢(han)安(an)元年(nian)(142年(nian))感太上(shang)授以正一盟(meng)威之道(dao)(dao)或云(yun)三天正法(fa)正一科(ke)術(shu)要道(dao)(dao)法(fa)文,創立了(le)道(dao)(dao)教。道(dao)(dao)門尊為祖天師(shi)。寶(bao)誥(gao),誥(gao)即(ji)誥(gao)詞,一種文體。多用于褒揚。
⑵本(ben)來(lai)南(nan)(nan)土(tu),上溯(su)(su)蜀都:南(nan)(nan)土(tu),南(nan)(nan)方土(tu)地。祖天師張道陵為(wei)東漢沛國(guo)(guo)(guo)豐(feng)(feng)邑(今(jin)(jin)江蘇豐(feng)(feng)縣)人(ren),生于吳之天目山。故稱之為(wei)“本(ben)來(lai)南(nan)(nan)土(tu)”。蜀都,古蜀國(guo)(guo)(guo)地,戰國(guo)(guo)(guo)秦置。治(zhi)成都(今(jin)(jin)屬四川(chuan))。西(xi)漢轄境相(xiang)當今(jin)(jin)四川(chuan)松潘以(yi)南(nan)(nan),南(nan)(nan)川(chuan)、彭(peng)縣、洪雅以(yi)西(xi),峨邊(bian)、石棉以(yi)北,邛(qiong)崍山、大渡河以(yi)東等地。今(jin)(jin)泛指四川(chuan)。祖天師曾隱(yin)居四川(chuan)鶴鳴山修(xiu)道并創(chuang)立(li)道教(jiao),故言道教(jiao)之根(gen)源上溯(su)(su)蜀都。
⑶先獲黃帝(di)(di)九(jiu)(jiu)鼎(ding)之丹(dan)(dan)(dan)書(shu):東(dong)漢和帝(di)(di)永二年(nian)(90年(nian)),祖(zu)天師張道(dao)陵攜弟子(zi)王長從淮入(ru)江西鄱陽(yang),登東(dong)平雩于峰(feng)。溯信江入(ru)貴溪(xi)云(yun)錦(jin)山。在(zai)山煉(lian)“九(jiu)(jiu)天神丹(dan)(dan)(dan)”,丹(dan)(dan)(dan)成而龍(long)虎現。一天,張道(dao)陵謂王長曰(yue):五(wu)岳多仙于,三蜀足(zu)名山,吾將能偕游乎(hu)?遂與北入(ru)嵩山,崖嶺石(shi)居(ju)數年(nian),精思感徹,有繡(xiu)衣使者告曰(yue):中峰(feng)石(shi)室藏有《上三皇內文》和《黃帝(di)(di)九(jiu)(jiu)鼎(ding)太清(qing)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)經》,得而修之者可升天也,真人感其言,乃齋戒七(qi)日,人其室,果得丹(dan)(dan)(dan)書(shu)。此即為《黃帝(di)(di)九(jiu)(jiu)鼎(ding)之丹(dan)(dan)(dan)書(shu)》。
⑷后侍老(lao)君(jun)(jun)兩度于(yu)玉(yu)局(ju)(ju):侍,侍立。指站在尊長的旁邊。老(lao)君(jun)(jun),太(tai)上老(lao)君(jun)(jun)。兩度,兩次。玉(yu)局(ju)(ju),即玉(yu)局(ju)(ju)治。為(wei)(wei)二十(shi)四治中(zhong)“下品人治”之(zhi)第(di)七治。在成都南(nan)門左。局(ju)(ju)是古代(dai)的“矮(ai)腳(jiao)(jiao)幾”(后人又稱“局(ju)(ju)腳(jiao)(jiao)玉(yu)床(chuang)”)古人席(xi)地(di)(di)而(er)(er)坐,置(zhi)幾于(yu)前,作(zuo)講(jiang)經(jing)(jing)等(deng)用(yong)。《彭乘記(ji)》稱:“后漢(han)永壽元年,李老(lao)君(jun)(jun)與張(zhang)道(dao)陵至(zhi)此,有局(ju)(ju)腳(jiao)(jiao)玉(yu)床(chuang)自地(di)(di)而(er)(er)出,老(lao)君(jun)(jun)升座。為(wei)(wei)張(zhang)道(dao)陵說《南(nan)斗經(jing)(jing)》北斗經(jing)(jing)》,既去而(er)(er)座隱地(di)(di)中(zhong),因成洞穴,故以玉(yu)局(ju)(ju)名(ming)之(zhi)。”此句言太(tai)上老(lao)君(jun)(jun)兩次降壇(tan)為(wei)(wei)張(zhang)道(dao)陵講(jiang)經(jing)(jing)說法(fa)事。
⑸千(qian)軸得(de)修(xiu)真之要,一時成吐(tu)納之功:千(qian)軸,指上文太上老(lao)君所(suo)降賜之經書。修(xiu)真,即(ji)修(xiu)道。吐(tu)納,即(ji)吐(tu)故(gu)納新。為道門修(xiu)煉養生法。即(ji)把胸中濁(zhuo)氣(qi)從口中呼出,再由(you)鼻漫(man)漫(man)吸進(jin)新鮮(xian)空氣(qi)。認為吐(tu)納可吸取生氣(qi),吐(tu)出死氣(qi)。達到長(chang)生不死。此(ci)指祖天(tian)師(shi)獲《黃帝(di)九鼎之丹書》和太上老(lao)君降賜之經書后,由(you)此(ci)而悟(wu)得(de)修(xiu)真之要,并煉成了吐(tu)納之功法。
⑹法(fa)(fa)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)全成,受盟(meng)威(wei)品而結璘訣(jue):法(fa)(fa),指道(dao)法(fa)(fa)。宋白(bai)玉蟾《道(dao)法(fa)(fa)九(jiu)要》稱(cheng):“夫法(fa)(fa)者(zhe)(zhe),洞(dong)曉陰陽(yang)造化,明達鬼神(shen)機關,呼風召雷,祈晴請雨(yu),行(xing)符(fu)(fu)咒(zhou)水,治病(bing)驅邪(xie),積行(xing)累功,與道(dao)合(he)真。”箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu),又稱(cheng)法(fa)(fa)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu),寶箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)。是一(yi)(yi)種(zhong)道(dao)教(jiao)符(fu)(fu)書,作為入道(dao)憑信與行(xing)法(fa)(fa)依據(ju)。道(dao)經稱(cheng),得其(qi)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)者(zhe)(zhe),方能(neng)召喚箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)上神(shen)吏兵(bing)將護衛身形,或役(yi)之(zhi)施(shi)行(xing)道(dao)法(fa)(fa)。同時,它(ta)對受箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)者(zhe)(zhe)也是一(yi)(yi)種(zhong)約束,故稱(cheng)“箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)者(zhe)(zhe),戒(jie)性情,止(zhi)塞愆非。制斷惡根,發生道(dao)業(ye)。從(cong)凡入圣,自始及(ji)終,先從(cong)戒(jie)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu),然后登真。”盟(meng)威(wei)品,即(ji)正(zheng)一(yi)(yi)盟(meng)威(wei)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu),此(ci)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)由老(lao)君降授,祖天(tian)師(shi)(shi)張道(dao)陵而傳世。《赤松(song)子章歷》稱(cheng):“謹(jin)按(an)太真科及(ji)赤松(song)子歷,漢代人鬼交雜,精邪(xie)遍(bian)行(xing),太上垂慈。下降鶴鳴山,授張天(tian)師(shi)(shi)正(zheng)一(yi)(yi)盟(meng)威(wei)符(fu)(fu)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)一(yi)(yi)百二(er)(er)十階,及(ji)千二(er)(er)百官儀,二(er)(er)百大章,法(fa)(fa)文秘要,救(jiu)治人物。天(tian)師(shi)(shi)遂建二(er)(er)十四治,敷行(xing)正(zheng)一(yi)(yi)章符(fu)(fu),領(ling)戶化民(min),廣行(xing)陰德。”璘訣(jue),指盟(meng)威(wei)箓(lu)(lu)(lu)(lu)中秘訣(jue)。
⑺正(zheng)邪兩辨,奪(duo)福(fu)(fu)庭治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)而化(hua)咸(xian)泉:正(zheng)邪兩辨,言太上(shang)老君授祖天(tian)師(shi)正(zheng)一盟(meng)威之道(dao),禁(jin)戒律科。檢示萬民逆順、禍福(fu)(fu)功過,令知好(hao)惡(e)之事(shi),奪(duo),同“得”。福(fu)(fu)庭治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),福(fu)(fu)庭即教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)廷。指陽(yang)(yang)(yang)平治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。祖天(tian)師(shi)立(li)二十四治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中,以陽(yang)(yang)(yang)平治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)為中央教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)區。其“陽(yang)(yang)(yang)平治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)都功印(yin)”是太上(shang)老君所授天(tian)師(shi)道(dao)最高(gao)法印(yin)。陽(yang)(yang)(yang)平治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)的(de)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)令各治(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)皆應遵守。咸(xian)泉,咸(xian)即感(gan),感(gan)為感(gan)應。泉為泉水(shui)。喻指祖天(tian)師(shi)立(li)道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)化(hua)世人的(de)盛德。
⑻德就大(da)丹(dan)(dan),道(dao)齊(qi)(qi)七(qi)(qi)政:德就大(da)丹(dan)(dan),指祖天師(shi)煉丹(dan)(dan)功德圓滿時龍(long)虎(hu)(hu)見之事。漢永元初年(nian),祖天師(shi)攜弟子王(wang)長至云(yun)錦山(今(jin)龍(long)虎(hu)(hu)山),修(xiu)煉九(jiu)天神丹(dan)(dan),一年(nian)有(you)(you)紅光(guang)照室;二年(nian)有(you)(you)五云(yun)覆鼎(ding),夜(ye)不假燭,仿佛有(you)(you)青龍(long)白(bai)虎(hu)(hu)各一常繞丹(dan)(dan)鼎(ding);三年(nian)丹(dan)(dan)成龍(long)虎(hu)(hu)見,山因以名。道(dao)齊(qi)(qi)七(qi)(qi)政,七(qi)(qi)政指日(ri)、月和金、木、水、火、土五星,即七(qi)(qi)曜。此言祖天師(shi)的道(dao)法與日(ri)月五星并駕齊(qi)(qi)驅。可見其道(dao)法之高。
⑼大(da)悲大(da)愿,大(da)圣(sheng)大(da)慈:大(da)悲,指悲憫世人。大(da)愿,濟度眾生(sheng)的(de)宏愿。大(da)圣(sheng),智慧(hui)超凡、通真(zhen)達靈(ling)。大(da)慈,慈祥呵護眾生(sheng)。此贊祖天師之盛德(de)。
⑽三(san)天(tian)扶教,輔玄體道(dao):三(san)天(tian),謂清微(wei)天(tian)、禹(yu)馀天(tian)、大赤天(tian)。此引指三(san)清尊神。扶教,扶助道(dao)教。玄,即道(dao)。體道(dao),即得道(dao)。
⑾大法天(tian)(tian)師,雷霆(ting)都省:大法天(tian)(tian)師,為祖天(tian)(tian)師尊號。雷霆(ting),天(tian)(tian)之(zhi)號令(ling)。都省,仙界官位。此指(zhi)祖天(tian)(tian)師代天(tian)(tian)行發號令(ling)。可見其權位之(zhi)高。
⑿泰(tai)玄上相,都天大法(fa)主:此為祖天師(shi)張道陵仙界尊號。
⒀正一沖(chong)玄神(shen)化靜應(ying)顯佑真君:此為元成(cheng)宗對祖(zu)天師(shi)的封號(hao)。
⒁六合(he)無(wu)窮高(gao)明大帝(di),降(jiang)(jiang)魔護道天(tian)尊(zun):六合(he)無(wu)窮高(gao)明大帝(di),為明崇禎皇(huang)帝(di)加封祖(zu)天(tian)師之(zhi)號。降(jiang)(jiang)魔,即降(jiang)(jiang)除妖(yao)魔。護道,護衛道教,天(tian)尊(zun)。對得(de)道神仙的尊(zun)稱。此對祖(zu)天(tian)師張(zhang)道陵盛德的頌贊。
豐(feng)縣張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)傳說分布(bu)(bu)(bu)區(qu)域豐(feng)縣、蘇魯(lu)豫皖(wan)接壤地(di)(di)區(qu)、龍虎山(shan)(shan)(shan)、云臺山(shan)(shan)(shan)、青城山(shan)(shan)(shan)等(deng)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)名山(shan)(shan)(shan)及(ji)日本、法(fa)(fa)國、美(mei)國、加拿大(da)、澳大(da)利亞(ya)、馬來西亞(ya)、新加坡。張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)原(yuan)名張(zhang)陵(ling),字輔(fu)漢(han)(han)。生于(yu)豐(feng)縣阿(a)房村(今江(jiang)蘇徐(xu)州(zhou)豐(feng)縣),是(shi)(shi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)斗(dou)(dou)米道(dao)(dao)的(de)(de)創始人,被尊為(wei)(wei)第(di)一代天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)。通達五(wu)(wu)(wu)經(jing)(jing),曾(ceng)入(ru)太學(xue),舉“賢(xian)良方正(zheng)直言(yan)(yan)極諫科”,任巴(ba)郡江(jiang)州(zhou)(今重慶) 令。后(hou)(hou)棄官隱居北(bei)邙山(shan)(shan)(shan)(今洛陽北(bei))。漢(han)(han)章帝、漢(han)(han)和(he)帝征召皆不就。與弟(di)子(zi)王長杖策入(ru)淮,經(jing)(jing) 鄱陽(今波陽),溯流至云錦(jin)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(今貴溪龍虎山(shan)(shan)(shan))煉(lian)丹,修長生之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao),三年(nian)(nian)(nian)丹成。聞(wen)巴(ba)蜀診(zhen)氣為(wei)(wei)害(hai),遂與弟(di)子(zi)赴四(si)川鶴鳴(ming)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(一作鴿鳴(ming)山(shan)(shan)(shan),今四(si)川大(da)邑縣境(jing))傳道(dao)(dao)。張(zhang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)永和(he)六年(nian)(nian)(nian)(141年(nian)(nian)(nian))造作道(dao)(dao)書二十四(si)篇,自稱(cheng)“太清玄(xuan)元”,奉其(qi)道(dao)(dao)者,須納五(wu)(wu)(wu)斗(dou)(dou)米,時稱(cheng)“五(wu)(wu)(wu)斗(dou)(dou)米道(dao)(dao)”。漢(han)(han)安(an)帝元年(nian)(nian)(nian)(142年(nian)(nian)(nian))張(zhang)陵(ling)托言(yan)(yan)太上(shang)老(lao)君(jun)親降,授(shou)“三天(tian)(tian)(tian)正(zheng)法(fa)(fa)”,命為(wei)(wei)“天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)”。同年(nian)(nian)(nian)又授(shou)“正(zheng)一科術(shu)要道(dao)(dao)法(fa)(fa)文(wen)”,“正(zheng)一盟威妙(miao)經(jing)(jing)”,重為(wei)(wei)“三天(tian)(tian)(tian)法(fa)(fa)師(shi)正(zheng)一真(zhen)人”。又托言(yan)(yan)太上(shang)老(lao)君(jun)于(yu)漢(han)(han)安(an)帝二年(nian)(nian)(nian)下二十四(si)治(布(bu)(bu)(bu)化(hua)行(xing)道(dao)(dao)的(de)(de)地(di)(di)區(qu)機構):上(shang)八(ba)治,中八(ba)治,下八(ba)治,囑天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)張(zhang)道(dao)(dao)陵(ling)奉行(xing)布(bu)(bu)(bu)化(hua)。按《正(zheng)一經(jing)(jing)》云:“太上(shang)親授(shou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi)《太玄(xuan)經(jing)(jing)》有二百七十卷,推檢是(shi)(shi)漢(han)(han)安(an)元年(nian)(nian)(nian)七月得是(shi)(shi)經(jing)(jing)。”張(zhang)陵(ling)以(yi)(yi)符水(shui)、咒法(fa)(fa)為(wei)(wei)人治病。并(bing)授(shou)民(min)取鹽之(zhi)(zhi)法(fa)(fa),后(hou)(hou)人稱(cheng)“陵(ling)井”(用咸井水(shui)熬鹽)。百姓得其(qi)益,奉之(zhi)(zhi)為(wei)(wei)天(tian)(tian)(tian)師(shi),弟(di)子(zi)戶達數(shu)萬。進而設立(li)祭(ji)酒,分領其(qi)戶,有如宰守;并(bing)立(li)條制,使諸弟(di)子(zi)隨(sui)事輪流出米絹器物樵薪等(deng);不施(shi)刑罰(fa),以(yi)(yi)善道(dao)(dao)治人。使有疾病者書記生身以(yi)(yi)來所犯之(zhi)(zhi)罪,手書投水(shui)中,與神明共盟,不得復犯罪,以(yi)(yi)生死(si)為(wei)(wei)約。張(zhang)陵(ling)奉《老(lao)子(zi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)千(qian)
文》、《太平(ping)洞極經(jing)》為(wei)主要經(jing)典,并著《老(lao)子(zi)想爾注》,宣揚(yang)人君按“道意”治(zhi)國(guo),則太平(ping);循“道意”治(zhi)民。民即壽考龍(long)虎(hu)山(shan)以(yi)其道家祖(zu)庭、丹霞地貌(mao)、春(chun)秋戰國(guo)大型(xing)崖(ya)墓(mu)群珠壁聯合為(wei)特色,在全國(guo)國(guo)家級風(feng)景名勝區中(zhong)獨樹一幟。東漢中(zhong)葉,道教創始人張(zhang)道陵曾(ceng)在此煉丹。張(zhang)天師至今(jin)承襲六十三代,歷經(jing)一千九(jiu)百多年(nian)。張(zhang)道陵和(he)弟子(zi)王(wang)長(chang)一起修(xiu)煉龍(long)虎(hu)大丹,一年(nian)有紅光(guang)照室,兩年(nian)有青龍(long)白虎(hu)來保護丹鼎,三年(nian)丹成,他更就成了真(zhen)人。
