與土壤(rang)環境(jing)關系:長白山五味子喜濕潤、肥沃(wo)、腐(fu)質層深厚、微酸性的暗(an)棕色森林土壤(rang)或砂(sha)質土壤(rang),通氣透水(shui)性好,養分供應充足。
據考(kao)證,長白(bai)山五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)開發利用已有(you)(you)百余年歷(li)史。《長白(bai)山匯(hui)征錄》(宣統(tong)元年)卷六(liu)藥品篇詳(xiang)細記述(shu)五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)的(de)(de)性味(wei)、功(gong)效、采收時(shi)間及加工方法,并(bing)記載了(le)當時(shi)“行(xing)銷(xiao)(xiao)內地(di),每歲所得(de)價值次于人(ren)參”的(de)(de)暢(chang)銷(xiao)(xiao)景象。《臨江縣(xian)(xian)志》(1902~1934)記載,“五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi):其形如(ru)珠(zhu),其色最紅(hong),善備五(wu)(wu)味(wei),故(gu)有(you)(you)五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)之稱,能止痰(tan)補腎,亦(yi)為(wei)出口藥材之大(da)宗。”當時(shi)全市有(you)(you)十家山貨莊(zhuang)經營長白(bai)山五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)。《撫松縣(xian)(xian)人(ren)參志》記載,撫松縣(xian)(xian)制(zhi)(zhi)藥廠和(he)原撫松國營第二參場1985年研制(zhi)(zhi)五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)沖劑、五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)濃縮汁、五(wu)(wu)味(wei)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)香檳原漿等精深加工制(zhi)(zhi)品,早在30多年前就已經行(xing)銷(xiao)(xiao)各(ge)地(di)。

感官特征
長白(bai)山(shan)五味子呈球(qiu)狀顆粒(li),直(zhi)徑5~8mm,表面紫紅(hong)(hong)色(se)或(huo)暗紅(hong)(hong)色(se),皺縮,顯油性。果(guo)肉(rou)柔(rou)軟(ruan),肉(rou)厚。內(nei)含種(zhong)(zhong)子2粒(li)。種(zhong)(zhong)子腎形,長4~5mm,寬3~4mm,表面棕黃色(se),有光(guang)澤,種(zhong)(zhong)皮脆硬(ying),種(zhong)(zhong)仁黃白(bai)色(se),富油性。果(guo)肉(rou)氣(qi)微(wei),味酸甘(gan);種(zhong)(zhong)子破碎后有清(qing)香氣(qi),味辛、微(wei)苦。
