簡介
妙果寺(si)位(wei)于(yu)浙江省(sheng)溫州市(shi)松臺山南麓。系(xi)東甌(ou)著名古剎(cha),始(shi)創于(yu)唐神龍年間(705年),為一(yi)代宗師(shi)宿覺大(da)(da)師(shi)所建。盛于(yu)宋,高僧(seng)繼忠大(da)(da)師(shi)曾卓錫方丈,大(da)(da)振宗風,一(yi)度成(cheng)為東南沿海朝(chao)圣之名剎(cha)。
妙果寺(si)于清順治十四年曾毀于一(yi)場大(da)火,雖于康熙十四年重(zhong)修,但(dan)規模已非昔日可(ke)比。后開拓公路(lu)時(shi)妙果寺(si)被拆除(chu),其間文(wen)物、大(da)師舍利、宋(song)鎏(liu)金銅佛及(ji)大(da)師生平小(xiao)石碑現藏華東文(wen)物館。妙果寺(si)作(zuo)為浙(zhe)江省政府批準重(zhong)點(dian)對外開放寺(si)院(yuan)。
建筑
1983年修復重(zhong)(zhong)建,重(zhong)(zhong)建前后長達十余(yu)年之(zhi)久,現在天王(wang)殿、大雄(xiong)寶殿、觀音閣及兩樓房,雕梁畫棟,金(jin)碧(bi)輝(hui)煌;飛檐斗(dou)拱,氣勢雄(xiong)渾,全國政協副主(zhu)席趙樸(pu)初親(qin)書(shu)“大雄(xiong)寶殿”,書(shu)壇巨匠沙孟海(hai)額書(shu)“妙果(guo)寺”,96年佛學大師南懷瑾行生書(shu)“宿覺(jue)名山”匾,端莊矯健,金(jin)光閃閃,書(shu)壇諸子紛(fen)紛(fen)撰(zhuan)書(shu)匾額楹聯為妙果(guo)寺增輝(hui)添彩(cai)。
大殿(dian)正柱(zhu)有原住持雪生(sheng)老和尚生(sheng)前(qian)撰聯:“凈(jing)光塔院(yuan),普覺(jue)鐘聲,追思唐代宗風永嘉獨(du)著(zhu);甌浦云峰,霞潭月色,想(xiang)見宋僧(seng)道積妙(miao)果同懷(huai)。”后殿(dian)有現住持達崇法師聯:“七寶(bao)莊(zhuang)嚴,一角小山藏世界(jie);三乘庇蔭,十方大地涌潮(chao)音。”
住持
妙果(guo)寺(si)(si)現任(ren)住持(chi)達(da)照法師,(達(da)照法師,俗姓林,筆名(ming)天臺(tai)子,1972年出(chu)生于(yu)浙(zhe)江(jiang)省文成(cheng)(cheng)縣,1989年于(yu)七甲寺(si)(si)依了識長(chang)(chang)老出(chu)家,屬于(yu)嫡傳天臺(tai)教(jiao)(jiao)觀(guan)第46代。現任(ren)普陀山佛(fo)學(xue)院(yuan)研(yan)究(jiu)生導師、蘇州戒幢佛(fo)學(xue)研(yan)究(jiu)所研(yan)究(jiu)員、湖(hu)南省常(chang)德市禪學(xue)會(hui)名(ming)譽會(hui)長(chang)(chang)、溫(wen)州市佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)協(xie)(xie)會(hui)副會(hui)長(chang)(chang)、溫(wen)州佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)永嘉禪學(xue)會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)(chang)、溫(wen)州市妙果(guo)寺(si)(si)住持(chi)、第七屆文成(cheng)(cheng)縣政協(xie)(xie)常(chang)委、文成(cheng)(cheng)縣佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)協(xie)(xie)會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)(chang)、文成(cheng)(cheng)縣七甲寺(si)(si)住持(chi)、安福寺(si)(si)修(xiu)建(jian)委員會(hui)主(zhu)任(ren)。)
豬頭鐘
相傳(chuan)宋(song)神宗(zong)元豐(feng)年(nian)間(jian)(1078-1085),在繼(ji)忠(zhong)大師(shi)主(zhu)持妙果寺時(shi),有(you)一客僧(seng)來(lai)寺掛單修身,其貌若(ruo)愚,然出語必合宗(zong)乘。日(ri)(ri)(ri)間(jian)入市(shi)丐(gai)化,布施所(suo)得,悉(xi)(xi)購豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭歸寺酣酌,繼(ji)忠(zhong)大師(shi)觀之(zhi)若(ruo)無其事,任(ren)其息(xi)跡(ji)去留。一日(ri)(ri)(ri)負鋤至寺旁山麓掘一土(tu)井,將所(suo)剩(sheng)豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭骨悉(xi)(xi)藏(zang)井內(nei)(nei)(nei),壓一大石,并以(yi)(yi)土(tu)泥涂封,對人說(shuo):“吾歷年(nian)所(suo)募鑄一鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),今七七日(ri)(ri)(ri)后于此成就”。此后就不(bu)見(jian)客僧(seng)蹤跡(ji)。時(shi)逾(yu)月余,寺僧(seng)掘土(tu)果見(jian)一鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),猛熱熾然,高約(yue)三尺,非銅非鐵,酷似青(qing)石,音響鏗明,頂上二(er)豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)首拼(pin)作(zuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕,迥(jiong)異尋常捕牢(lao)獅龍之(zhi)慣例。故(gu)人皆以(yi)(yi)“豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”名(ming)之(zhi)。傳(chuan)說(shuo)因其鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)未到49日(ri)(ri)(ri),火未退完(wan),敲(qiao)擊(ji)時(shi)城內(nei)(nei)(nei)外常有(you)火災出現。民(min)國八年(nian)(1919),國威不(bu)振,本地任(ren)某請來(lai)上海技師(shi)將鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕截(jie)斷,竊去國外。自此,神鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就不(bu)復(fu)懸掛,于是建“古鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭”藏(zang)之(zhi)。因該(gai)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕活像兩個豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭,故(gu)人稱“豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。也有(you)人說(shuo)該(gai)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原名(ming)“濟(ji)陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,人們諧稱“豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。我們對這傳(chuan)說(shuo)無須認(ren)真去尋根究(jiu)底(di),"假作(zuo)真時(shi)真亦假,無為有(you)處有(you)還無",長留在人們的(de)想像中豈(qi)不(bu)更好。1987年(nian)重建鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭,亭聯:“稽于史實,松臺山上仙(xian)人井;留得民(min)謠,妙果寺中豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。”亭內(nei)(nei)(nei)的(de)無紐“濟(ji)陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,為宋(song)時(shi)物(wu)(wu),高1.3米(mi),直徑(jing)為0.8米(mi)。豬(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)頭鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)現已由市(shi)文物(wu)(wu)館追還。
