百老匯的成立(li),源自創辦(ban)人– 李波先生將(jiang)新科技(ji)(ji)普及化的熱誠。于50年(nian)代,攝(she)影屬當時一種非常昂貴的玩意(yi),而作(zuo)為(wei)攝(she)影師的李波先生便于1949年(nian)在(zai)旺(wang)角彌敦道開設店(dian)鋪(pu),提供售賣菲林(lin)、出租(zu)相機及相片沖矖服務,其(qi)后在(zai)旺(wang)角山東街創辦(ban)了百老匯,讓大眾有機會體驗(yan)科技(ji)(ji)所帶(dai)來的生活趣(qu)味(wei)。
及(ji)(ji)(ji)至70年代(dai),攝影(ying)及(ji)(ji)(ji)影(ying)音器(qi)(qi)材(cai)日(ri)漸(jian)(jian)普及(ji)(ji)(ji),百(bai)老(lao)匯的服務漸(jian)(jian)趨(qu)多(duo)元化(hua),逐(zhu)漸(jian)(jian)轉型為(wei)(wei)(wei)售(shou)賣(mai)相機、菲林及(ji)(ji)(ji)影(ying)音產(chan)品(pin)的專門(men)店(dian),并于1975年正式注冊成(cheng)立「百(bai)老(lao)匯攝影(ying)器(qi)(qi)材(cai)有(you)限公司」。自此(ci)起,百(bai)老(lao)匯認為(wei)(wei)(wei)科技(ji)發(fa)展日(ri)新月異,電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)及(ji)(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)產(chan)品(pin)勢必(bi)(bi)成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)大家生(sheng)活(huo)上的必(bi)(bi)需(xu)品(pin),因此(ci)便積(ji)極拓展其業務范(fan)疇,由攝影(ying)器(qi)(qi)材(cai)專門(men)店(dian)發(fa)展至多(duo)元化(hua)的數碼電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)及(ji)(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)零(ling)(ling)售(shou)業務。隨著時代(dai)變遷,層出不(bu)窮的電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)及(ji)(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)產(chan)品(pin)不(bu)斷(duan)影(ying)響著我們的生(sheng)活(huo)模式,顧(gu)客的需(xu)求亦不(bu)斷(duan)轉變,而百(bai)老(lao)匯亦同(tong)步演變,已(yi)經成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)香(xiang)港的一站式電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)及(ji)(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)零(ling)(ling)售(shou)連(lian)鎖店(dian),至今擁有(you)約30間(jian)門(men)市,聘用(yong)1千多(duo)名員工。百(bai)老(lao)匯時刻本(ben)著「勇(yong)敢嘗試,不(bu)斷(duan)創(chuang)新」的精神,積(ji)極引入各式嶄新的數碼電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)及(ji)(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)產(chan)品(pin),配合(he)不(bu)斷(duan)提(ti)(ti)升(sheng)的專業零(ling)(ling)售(shou)服務和(he)時尚購物體驗(yan),特設「購物保障(zhang),十天更(geng)換」及(ji)(ji)(ji)「電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)腦(nao)化(hua)留(liu)貨服務」,讓顧(gu)客時刻與科技(ji)潮流(liu)緊(jin)密連(lian)系,體驗(yan)科技(ji)如何提(ti)(ti)升(sheng)我們的生(sheng)活(huo)享受,令生(sheng)活(huo)更(geng)添樂趣。
