1929年(nian)(nian),孫震將(jiang)軍創辦私立樹德(de)學校(xiao),提出(chu)“樹德(de)樹人(ren)”的辦學主(zhu)張(zhang)。二十世(shi)紀三十、四十年(nian)(nian)代,成為全國(guo)辦得最好(hao)的六所私立學校(xiao)之(zhi)一,時稱“北有南開,西有樹德(de)”(《大(da)公(gong)報》記載(zai))。
1952年(nian)(nian),改(gai)制(zhi)為(wei)(wei)公立學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),更(geng)名(ming)為(wei)(wei)成(cheng)都九中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)辦好的(de)(de)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)級(ji)重點(dian)(dian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)。1958年(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)歸國(guo)華(hua)僑子(zi)女集(ji)(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就讀學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、1959年(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)高(gao)(gao)(gao)級(ji)干(gan)部(bu)子(zi)女集(ji)(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就讀學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。1989年(nian)(nian),恢復樹德中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)名(ming)。2000年(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)國(guo)家級(ji)示(shi)范高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。2004年(nian)(nian),成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)引(yin)(yin)進(jin)國(guo)際高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)課(ke)程(VCE)的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2007年(nian)(nian)~2010年(nian)(nian),實施名(ming)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)擴建(jian),形成(cheng)“一(yi)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)三區”的(de)(de)辦學(xue)(xue)格局。2009年(nian)(nian),組建(jian)樹德中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)集(ji)(ji)團,引(yin)(yin)領(ling)幫扶(fu)13所成(cheng)員(yuan)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),促進(jin)教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)優(you)質(zhi)均衡。2010年(nian)(nian),被(bei)確(que)定為(wei)(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)部(bu)在四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)探(tan)索拔尖(jian)創新人(ren)才早(zao)期培養的(de)(de)試(shi)(shi)點(dian)(dian)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2011年(nian)(nian),成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)西部(bu)引(yin)(yin)進(jin)IB國(guo)際課(ke)程的(de)(de)公立高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。同年(nian)(nian),獲北京大(da)學(xue)(xue)“中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長實名(ming)制(zhi)推(tui)薦”、清華(hua)大(da)學(xue)(xue)“領(ling)軍計劃”學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2013年(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)四(si)(si)川(chuan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)首批一(yi)級(ji)示(shi)范性高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。2014年(nian)(nian),成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)全國(guo)首批中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)大(da)學(xue)(xue)先修課(ke)程(CAP)試(shi)(shi)點(dian)(dian)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。現(xian)為(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)學(xue)(xue)會高(gao)(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)專業委員(yuan)會常務理事學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。
