太原市成(cheng)成(cheng)中學(xue)(xue)是山西省首批示(shi)范高中,始建(jian)于1924年。截至(zhi)2018年,學(xue)(xue)校校園占(zhan)地60余(yu)畝,建(jian)筑面(mian)積近3.5萬平方米。有70個教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)班,擁(yong)有專(zhuan)兼職教(jiao)師300人(ren),學(xue)(xue)生4000余(yu)人(ren)。
先(xian)(xian)進的(de)辦法理念、科(ke)學(xue)(xue)的(de)管理方法帶(dai)來的(de)是教(jiao)育(yu)教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)質量的(de)穩步提高和學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)工作的(de)全(quan)(quan)面發展。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)還先(xian)(xian)后被評為“全(quan)(quan)國德育(yu)先(xian)(xian)進學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“山西省(sheng)德育(yu)示(shi)范學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“山西省(sheng)文(wen)明單(dan)位”、“太原市文(wen)明單(dan)位標兵”;被國家(jia)教(jiao)委確定為“全(quan)(quan)國現代教(jiao)育(yu)實驗學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)男籃(lan)、女(nv)排(pai)不僅在(zai)省(sheng)市比賽(sai)中(zhong)(zhong)連年(nian)奪冠,而且(qie)在(zai)華北地區(qu)女(nv)子排(pai)球賽(sai)、全(quan)(quan)國中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)排(pai)球賽(sai)中(zhong)(zhong)披荊(jing)斬(zhan)棘,榮獲(huo)第三名和第六名的(de)驕人佳績。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)被國家(jia)體(ti)(ti)育(yu)總局、國家(jia)教(jiao)育(yu)部(bu)和國家(jia)體(ti)(ti)委命名為“全(quan)(quan)國群眾體(ti)(ti)育(yu)先(xian)(xian)進學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“國家(jia)級體(ti)(ti)育(yu)傳統項目學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“全(quan)(quan)國培養(yang)體(ti)(ti)育(yu)后備人才先(xian)(xian)進學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“山西省(sheng)特(te)色(se)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”等(deng)。

2019年9月(yue),獲得“全國教(jiao)育系統(tong)先進(jin)集體”稱號。
截至2018年(nian),學(xue)校有70個(ge)(ge)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)班,學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)4000余人。校園占地60余畝(mu),建筑面積(ji)近(jin)3.5萬平方(fang)(fang)米。擁有現(xian)代(dai)化的化學(xue)、物(wu)理實驗室(shi)(shi)(shi)各(ge)4個(ge)(ge),2個(ge)(ge)生(sheng)(sheng)物(wu)實驗室(shi)(shi)(shi),1個(ge)(ge)生(sheng)(sheng)物(wu)標本室(shi)(shi)(shi);新建了近(jin)百(bai)平方(fang)(fang)米的多媒體語音教(jiao)(jiao)室(shi)(shi)(shi),裝備(bei)了2個(ge)(ge)60座計算機網絡教(jiao)(jiao)室(shi)(shi)(shi)、教(jiao)(jiao)師多媒體制作室(shi)(shi)(shi)、電子閱覽室(shi)(shi)(shi);雙向閉(bi)路電視演播系統和千兆校園網;投資40余萬元興建了近(jin)300平方(fang)(fang)米的教(jiao)(jiao)工(gong)多功能活(huo)動室(shi)(shi)(shi)和校園快(kuai)餐廳、5100平方(fang)(fang)米的體育館及(ji)塑膠操場,它代(dai)表了太(tai)原(yuan)市(shi)中(zhong)小學(xue)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)設備(bei)的新潮流。
二(er)十年(nian)(nian)代末,學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)誕生(sheng)了成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)第一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)支部,三十年(nian)(nian)代初(chu),進步(bu)人(ren)(ren)士和(he)(he)(he)我黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)員武(wu)新宇(yu)(武(wu)漢三)、劉(liu)墉(yong)(yong)如(劉(liu)子堂)、張(zhang)衡(heng)宇(yu)等到這(zhe)所學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)任(ren)教。共產(chan)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)員和(he)(he)(he)進步(bu)教師(shi)領導生(sheng)進行斗爭逐(zhu)漸在(zai)這(zhe)個(ge)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)掌(zhang)權,使它(ta)成(cheng)(cheng)為三十年(nian)(nian)代我黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)在(zai)太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan)地(di)(di)區地(di)(di)下(xia)(xia)活動(dong)的(de)(de)(de)主(zhu)要(yao)陣地(di)(di)之(zhi)一(yi)(yi)(yi),成(cheng)(cheng)為閻錫(xi)山統治下(xia)(xia)由(you)(you)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國共產(chan)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)人(ren)(ren)掌(zhang)握領導權的(de)(de)(de)山西(xi)省學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao);一(yi)(yi)(yi)九三四(si)年(nian)(nian)一(yi)(yi)(yi)月,中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共山西(xi)省特(te)委秘(mi)書(shu)處(chu)被敵破壞,黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)員教師(shi)張(zhang)衡(heng)宇(yu)被捕,該(gai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)共產(chan)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)員和(he)(he)(he)太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)(yi)(yi)些(xie)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)員曾(ceng)緊急地(di)(di)分(fen)散轉移(yi)到各地(di)(di)去(qu),只留下(xia)(xia)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長劉(liu)墉(yong)(yong)如一(yi)(yi)(yi)人(ren)(ren)在(zai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)堅(jian)(jian)持。擔任(ren)成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)教務(wu)主(zhu)任(ren)的(de)(de)(de)杜心源(yuan)(杜春(chun)仁(ren))轉移(yi)到北(bei)平后(hou),得知張(zhang)衡(heng)宇(yu)在(zai)獄(yu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)堅(jian)(jian)貞不(bu)屈(qu),未吐露絲毫實情(qing),留在(zai)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)的(de)(de)(de)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長劉(liu)墉(yong)(yong)如安然無事,有(you)(you)(you)(you)些(xie)離開的(de)(de)(de)教師(shi)又回到學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)教課(ke)。杜心源(yuan)通(tong)過張(zhang)柏(bo)園(yuan)找到即將前去(qu)太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan)隱蔽的(de)(de)(de)林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng),向(xiang)林(lin)(lin)作(zuo)了匯報。林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)和(he)(he)(he)張(zhang)柏(bo)園(yuan)一(yi)(yi)(yi)起前往太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan)成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)以教員身份作(zuo)掩護,做(zuo)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)的(de)(de)(de)地(di)(di)下(xia)(xia)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)。林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)接替(ti)杜心源(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)國文課(ke),張(zhang)柏(bo)園(yuan)接替(ti)教務(wu)主(zhu)任(ren)。林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)來(lai)前已(yi)了解了山西(xi)的(de)(de)(de)政(zheng)治情(qing)況及成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)的(de)(de)(de)情(qing)況,雖然沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)同校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)組織發生(sheng)橫的(de)(de)(de)關(guan)系,但彼此(ci)互(hu)知政(zheng)治面(mian)目。林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)利用在(zai)這(zhe)里的(de)(de)(de)短暫時(shi)間,幫(bang)助劉(liu)墉(yong)(yong)如分(fen)析校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)情(qing)況,總結(jie)“治校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)經驗”。他認為成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)有(you)(you)(you)(you)一(yi)(yi)(yi)批(pi)很(hen)好(hao)的(de)(de)(de)革(ge)命(ming)師(shi)生(sheng),要(yao)在(zai)白(bai)色恐(kong)怖嚴(yan)重(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan),保住這(zhe)塊革(ge)命(ming)陣地(di)(di)。教員工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)和(he)(he)(he)學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)分(fen)開,教員要(yao)教好(hao)書(shu),把學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)辦(ban)成(cheng)(cheng)有(you)(you)(you)(you)聲譽的(de)(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),教職員不(bu)要(yao)在(zai)學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)發展組織。學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo),由(you)(you)外面(mian)來(lai)的(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)做(zuo)。一(yi)(yi)(yi)定(ding)要(yao)保住人(ren)(ren),把書(shu)教好(hao)。在(zai)必(bi)要(yao)時(shi),指(zhi)點(dian)一(yi)(yi)(yi)下(xia)(xia),學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)就起來(lai)了。林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)這(zhe)些(xie)正確意見,劉(liu)墉(yong)(yong)如、杜心源(yuan)、焦國鼐都很(hen)贊成(cheng)(cheng)。成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)組織領導下(xia)(xia)的(de)(de)(de)革(ge)命(ming)活動(dong)幾(ji)次出問題,已(yi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)這(zhe)方面(mian)的(de)(de)(de)教訓。但是山西(xi)黨(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)組織受當時(shi)“左”傾思想(xiang)影響,成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)“教聯”和(he)(he)(he)林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)的(de)(de)(de)正確意見,未被上級采納,致使學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)革(ge)命(ming)組織連遭破壞,革(ge)命(ming)師(shi)生(sheng)屢遭逮捕。一(yi)(yi)(yi)九三四(si)年(nian)(nian)四(si)月,杜心源(yuan)通(tong)過上層關(guan)系回到成(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)復職,林(lin)(lin)楓(feng)(feng)(feng)離開太(tai)(tai)(tai)原(yuan)。
抗日戰(zhan)爭初期,一(yi)(yi)度(du)成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)為中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共(gong)北(bei)方局、八(ba)路(lu)軍駐晉辦事處、中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共(gong)山(shan)西工委的(de)(de)(de)所在(zai)地,黨(dang)的(de)(de)(de)高級干(gan)部周恩來、朱德、劉(liu)少奇等同志都曾在(zai)這里居(ju)住、工作過,當時(shi)的(de)(de)(de)成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)實際(ji)上已成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)為中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國共(gong)產黨(dang)在(zai)華北(bei)抗日前線(xian)的(de)(de)(de)指揮部。“七七”事變(bian)后,廣大(da)師(shi)生(sheng)響應黨(dang)的(de)(de)(de)號召,舉校從戎(rong),共(gong)赴國難,組成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)六百人的(de)(de)(de)“師(shi)生(sheng)抗日游擊隊”,轉(zhuan)戰(zhan)晉西北(bei),血(xue)沃大(da)青(qing)山(shan),用鮮血(xue)和(he)生(sheng)命譜寫了(le)成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)歷史上光輝的(de)(de)(de)篇章(zhang),被譽為是全國“青(qing)年運動的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)(yi)面旗(qi)幟”。抗日戰(zhan)爭勝利后,學(xue)(xue)校一(yi)(yi)度(du)在(zai)文水復(fu)校,并增(zeng)設大(da)學(xue)(xue)部改名(ming)為“成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)學(xue)(xue)院”,為全國解放培養了(le)一(yi)(yi)大(da)批優秀干(gan)部。新中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)立后,成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)在(zai)太原復(fu)校,定名(ming)為山(shan)西省立成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)。
1953年(nian),學(xue)校與云山中(zhong)學(xue)合并(bing)更(geng)名為(wei)“太原第三中(zhong)學(xue)”。1992年(nian),為(wei)了繼(ji)承并(bing)發(fa)揚成(cheng)中(zhong)革命(ming)傳統,為(wei)了永遠紀(ji)念(nian)成(cheng)中(zhong)師(shi)生(sheng)抗日游擊隊(dui)的偉(wei)大壯舉,在原成(cheng)中(zhong)老校友的倡議下,學(xue)校再(zai)次恢(hui)復“成(cheng)成(cheng)中(zhong)學(xue)”校名。
1999年,根據市教委提出的(de)(de)以強帶(dai)弱、優勢互補原(yuan)則,學校又與原(yuan)17中(zhong)合并,形(xing)成(cheng)高、初中(zhong)分設,共同發展的(de)(de)聯合辦學模式,為(wei)成(cheng)中(zhong)向全國重點中(zhong)學邁(mai)進(jin)打下堅實的(de)(de)基礎。
