東營市利津縣第二中學始建于1952年10月,是黃河三角洲地區建校較早的中學之一,始名為山東省墾利中學(1951年(nian)(nian)陳家莊(zhuang)是中(zhong)共墾(ken)利(li)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)委、縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)政(zheng)府駐(zhu)地)。1956年(nian)(nian)5月(yue)(yue)(yue)墾(ken)利(li)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)建制撤銷,原轄區劃屬(shu)利(li)津縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)暫定(ding)名“陳莊(zhuang)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”。1956年(nian)(nian)7月(yue)(yue)(yue)20日,定(ding)名為(wei)“山東省利(li)津縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)第二中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”。1958年(nian)(nian)11月(yue)(yue)(yue)沾(化)利(li)(津)合并(bing)為(wei)沾化縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)遂更(geng)名為(wei)“沾化縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)第三(san)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”。1961年(nian)(nian)9月(yue)(yue)(yue),沾利(li)分縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)恢復“利(li)津縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)第二中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”校(xiao)名。1969年(nian)(nian)4月(yue)(yue)(yue)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)下(xia)放陳莊(zhuang)人民公(gong)社(she)(she)管理,校(xiao)名改為(wei)“陳莊(zhuang)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”。1969年(nian)(nian)12月(yue)(yue)(yue)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)復名“利(li)津縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)第二中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”。1976年(nian)(nian)9月(yue)(yue)(yue),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)再度(du)下(xia)放到公(gong)社(she)(she)管理。1978年(nian)(nian)8月(yue)(yue)(yue)再次復名“利(li)津縣(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)第二中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)”并(bing)沿用至今。
學校現有(you)58個高(gao)中教學班,3200余名在校生。專任教師256人,研究生學歷12人,本科244人。其中,特級(ji)(ji)教師1人,高(gao)級(ji)(ji)教師61人,一(yi)級(ji)(ji)教師84人,二級(ji)(ji)教師110人。
六十(shi)年滄桑(sang)砥(di)礪,六十(shi)年春華秋(qiu)實,學(xue)(xue)校秉承(cheng)“讓每一個(ge)學(xue)(xue)生都成功”的(de)辦學(xue)(xue)理(li)念,鑄(zhu)成“立(li)德樹人、自強不息”的(de)校訓,“團結(jie)、勤(qin)奮、求實、創新”的(de)校風,“嚴(yan)謹治學(xue)(xue)、精誠育人”的(de)教風和“篤實勤(qin)勉(mian)、敏行日(ri)新”的(de)學(xue)(xue)風,為社會培養(yang)了三萬多(duo)名優秀人才(cai),培養(yang)出了建(jian)國(guo)以來(lai)利津縣較(jiao)早的(de)北(bei)京(jing)大學(xue)(xue)生、東營市(shi)(shi)建(jian)市(shi)(shi)以來(lai)的(de)清華大學(xue)(xue)生。
學校地處黃(huang)河勝利(li)大橋(qiao)北(bei)端(duan)的(de)省級中心鎮(zhen)——陳(chen)莊鎮(zhen),坐(zuo)落于陳(chen)莊鎮(zhen)濱(bin)港(gang)路5號(hao)。學校分南北(bei)兩(liang)院,占(zhan)地150畝,總建(jian)筑面(mian)積達(da)7萬平(ping)方(fang)米。教室(shi)和(he)功能室(shi)都(dou)配(pei)備(bei)(bei)了多(duo)媒體,實(shi)驗室(shi)均按國家標準設計配(pei)備(bei)(bei),通用技術實(shi)驗室(shi)被教育部教學儀器(qi)研究所授予“高(gao)中通用技術標準實(shi)驗室(shi)”,音樂(le)室(shi)、美(mei)術室(shi)、舞蹈室(shi)、歷(li)史室(shi)、地理(li)室(shi)、圖(tu)書館、閱覽室(shi)等全(quan)部高(gao)標準配(pei)備(bei)(bei)到(dao)位。
