度尾(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)位于仙(xian)(xian)游西部的(de)(de)仙(xian)(xian)永(yong)、度鳳(feng)公路交通樞紐地帶(dai)的(de)(de)石牌兜,與泉州市(shi)的(de)(de)永(yong)春縣接壤,背靠礪(li)山(shan),面臨蘭溪,環境優美,景色怡人,是(shi)一所(suo)歷(li)史較(jiao)為悠久的(de)(de)老校。學(xue)校前身是(shi)由(you)余震先生(度峰村人)創辦(ban)的(de)(de)私立(li)礪(li)山(shan)初級中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),而學(xue)校歷(li)史可追溯于民國十年(1921年),始名縣立(li)第十小學(xue),此(ci)后幾經沿(yan)革,多(duo)次易名(鐵青(qing)小學(xue)、縣立(li)萬善(shan)小學(xue)、縣立(li)第三(san)區(qu)中(zhong)(zhong)心小學(xue)、度東小學(xue)、仙(xian)(xian)游簡(jian)師、私立(li)礪(li)山(shan)初級中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)),1949年由(you)人民政府接管,1954年更(geng)名為“仙(xian)(xian)游第五中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)”。1969年經人民政府批準升格為完全中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),更(geng)名為“仙(xian)(xian)游度尾(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)”,沿(yan)用至今(jin)。
