楞嚴經卷二
【原文】爾時。阿難及諸大(da)眾。聞(wen)佛示誨。身心(xin)泰然。念(nian)無始來。失卻本心(xin)。妄(wang)認緣塵。分(fen)別影事(shi)。今(jin)日開悟。如失乳兒。忽遇(yu)慈母(mu)。合掌(zhang)禮佛。愿聞(wen)如來。顯出身心(xin)。真妄(wang)虛實。現前生滅。與不(bu)生滅。二發明性。
【譯文】那時候,阿難和大眾們(men)聽聞(wen)了(le)佛的教誨(hui),一時身(shen)心(xin)安穩泰然,意織(zhi)到自(zi)己從久遠以來,就已(yi)失(shi)卻了(le)本真(zhen)的心(xin)性,從而以幻影為真(zhen)實(shi)(shi),去攀緣在世間器物世界(jie)上(shang)面,今日聽了(le)如(ru)來教誨(hui),開啟了(le)智慧,就如(ru)迷失(shi)了(le)的嬰兒(er)又回到了(le)慈(ci)母的懷抱(bao),他(ta)們(men)一起(qi)合掌(zhang)頂禮,祈愿如(ru)來為眾人顯示(shi)身(shen)心(xin)的真(zhen)實(shi)(shi)與虛妄,現示(shi)身(shen)心(xin)的生(sheng)生(sheng)滅滅,和不生(sheng)不滅的二種真(zhen)實(shi)(shi)性相。
【原文】時。波斯匿王(wang)。起立白(bai)佛。我昔未承諸佛誨敕(chi)。見迦旃延。毗羅胝子。咸言。此(ci)身死后斷滅。名為涅槃。我雖值佛。今(jin)猶狐疑。云何發揮(hui)。證知此(ci)心。不生滅地(di)。令此(ci)大眾(zhong)。諸有漏(lou)者。咸皆(jie)愿聞。
【譯文】當時(shi),波斯匿(ni)王站起來(lai)對如(ru)(ru)來(lai)說:從前,我還(huan)沒有(you)領受到如(ru)(ru)來(lai)教誨時(shi),我去見迦旃延和(he)苦修者(zhe)毗羅胝子,他們都說,人死后一切斷滅(mie)就叫做(zuo)涅槃。雖然我尊(zun)奉佛法,但(dan)是我現在仍然有(you)疑惑,怎樣才能發物本心(xin),從而(er)證(zheng)知這個(ge)心(xin)不(bu)生(sheng)不(bu)滅(mie)呢?法會中沒有(you)證(zheng)到無漏圣(sheng)位的(de)大眾(zhong)都愿(yuan)意聆聽(ting)如(ru)(ru)來(lai)的(de)教誨。
【原文】佛告大(da)王。汝(ru)身現存。今復問汝(ru)。汝(ru)此(ci)肉身。為(wei)同(tong)金(jin)剛常住(zhu)不朽。為(wei)復變壞(huai)。
世尊。我(wo)(wo)今(jin)此身。終從變(bian)滅(mie)。佛言。大王(wang)。汝未曾(ceng)(ceng)滅(mie)。云(yun)何知滅(mie)。世尊。我(wo)(wo)此無常變(bian)壞之身。雖未曾(ceng)(ceng)滅(mie)。我(wo)(wo)觀現前。念(nian)念(nian)遷謝。新新不住。如火成(cheng)灰。漸漸銷殞。殞亡不息。決(jue)知此身。當從滅(mie)盡。
佛(fo)言(yan)。如(ru)是。大王。汝(ru)今(jin)生齡(ling)。已從衰老。顏貌何如(ru)童子(zi)之(zhi)時。世尊(zun)。我(wo)昔孩孺。膚(fu)腠潤(run)澤(ze)。年至長成。血氣充滿。而今(jin)頹(tui)齡(ling)。迫于(yu)衰耄。形色枯悴。精神昏昧。發白面皺。逮將不久(jiu)。如(ru)何見比充盛(sheng)之(zhi)時。
佛言。大王。汝之形容。應不頓朽。王言。世尊。變化密移。我誠不覺。寒(han)暑遷流(liu)。漸至于此(ci)。何以故。我年(nian)二(er)十(shi)(shi)。雖號年(nian)少。顏貌(mao)已老初十(shi)(shi)年(nian)時。三十(shi)(shi)之年(nian)又衰(shuai)二(er)十(shi)(shi)。于今六十(shi)(shi)又過于二(er)。觀五十(shi)(shi)時。宛然強壯。世尊。我見密移。雖此(ci)殂落(luo)。其間流(liu)易。且限十(shi)(shi)年(nian)。若復令我微細思惟(wei)。其變寧惟(wei)一(yi)紀(ji)二(er)紀(ji)。實為(wei)年(nian)變。豈惟(wei)年(nian)變。亦兼月化。何直月化。兼又日遷。沉(chen)思諦觀。剎那(nei)剎那(nei)。念念之間。不得(de)停(ting)住(zhu)。故知我身。終從變滅。
【譯文】如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)對波(bo)斯(si)(si)匿(ni)(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo):你(ni)這(zhe)(zhe)身(shen)(shen)軀(qu)如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)今猶存,那(nei)么,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)問你(ni),你(ni)這(zhe)(zhe)肉質身(shen)(shen)是(shi)像金(jin)剛石那(nei)樣(yang)(yang)常存不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)壞呢(ni)?還(huan)是(shi)會衰變(bian)毀(hui)(hui)壞呢(ni)?波(bo)斯(si)(si)匿(ni)(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo):世(shi)尊,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)這(zhe)(zhe)身(shen)(shen)軀(qu)終究會損(sun)毀(hui)(hui)滅(mie)(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)(jue)的(de)(de)(de)呀!如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)說(shuo):大(da)王(wang)(wang)啊,你(ni)還(huan)沒有(you)滅(mie)(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)(jue),為(wei)(wei)(wei)什么就(jiu)(jiu)知道你(ni)會滅(mie)(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)(jue)呢(ni)?波(bo)斯(si)(si)匱王(wang)(wang)說(shuo):世(shi)尊,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)這(zhe)(zhe)變(bian)易(yi)(yi)衰壞的(de)(de)(de)身(shen)(shen)軀(qu),雖(sui)然現(xian)在(zai)還(huan)沒有(you)毀(hui)(hui)滅(mie)(mie)(mie),但是(shi)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)看到(dao)面前一切(qie),都如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)心念(nian)一般此起彼(bi)伏,變(bian)化不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)停(ting)息,它們(men)像燃燒著的(de)(de)(de)火(huo)焰(yan),逐(zhu)漸成為(wei)(wei)(wei)灰燼,隨即也就(jiu)(jiu)熄滅(mie)(mie)(mie)了(le)(le)(le)、毀(hui)(hui)壞了(le)(le)(le),從而使我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)知道這(zhe)(zhe)肉身(shen)(shen)一定會滅(mie)(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)(jue)的(de)(de)(de)。如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)說(shuo):是(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)樣(yang)(yang),大(da)王(wang)(wang)。如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)今你(ni)已經(jing)到(dao)了(le)(le)(le)衰老年(nian)(nian)齡了(le)(le)(le),顏(yan)容(rong)(rong)哪襄(xiang)還(huan)能像兒童(tong)那(nei)樣(yang)(yang)潤滑呢(ni)?波(bo)斯(si)(si)匿(ni)(ni)王(wang)(wang)回答:世(shi)尊,當(dang)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)還(huan)是(shi)孩(hai)童(tong)時(shi)(shi),肌膚有(you)多(duo)么潤澤光(guang)華,成年(nian)(nian)之后,血氣(qi)有(you)多(duo)么充盈,如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)今年(nian)(nian)老血衰,形容(rong)(rong)枯梏(gu),精神昏沉(chen),皺皮白(bai)發,恐怕已是(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)久于(yu)人(ren)世(shi)了(le)(le)(le),哪里比得上血氣(qi)旺盛的(de)(de)(de)時(shi)(shi)候(hou)?如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)說(shuo):大(da)王(wang)(wang),看你(ni)的(de)(de)(de)容(rong)(rong)顏(yan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)像是(shi)突(tu)然就(jiu)(jiu)變(bian)的(de)(de)(de)如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)此衰朽的(de)(de)(de)吧?波(bo)斯(si)(si)匿(ni)(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo):世(shi)尊,身(shen)(shen)軀(qu)的(de)(de)(de)變(bian)化隱約(yue)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)顯,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)確實(shi)(shi)感(gan)覺不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)到(dao),但是(shi)寒來(lai)暑(shu)去(qu),就(jiu)(jiu)到(dao)了(le)(le)(le)如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)今這(zhe)(zhe)個衰頹的(de)(de)(de)年(nian)(nian)齡了(le)(le)(le),這(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)什么呢(ni)?當(dang)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)歲時(shi)(shi),雖(sui)然仍(reng)(reng)舊是(shi)少壯年(nian)(nian)齡,但是(shi)已經(jing)比我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)十(shi)(shi)歲時(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)長了(le)(le)(le),到(dao)了(le)(le)(le)三十(shi)(shi)歲,又(you)比二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)歲時(shi)(shi)衰老,現(xian)在(zai)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)六十(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)歲了(le)(le)(le),返觀(guan)(guan)五十(shi)(shi)歲時(shi)(shi),覺得那(nei)時(shi)(shi)候(hou)仍(reng)(reng)然比現(xian)在(zai)強健(jian)的(de)(de)(de)多(duo)。世(shi)尊,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)看到(dao)身(shen)(shen)軀(qu)的(de)(de)(de)隱約(yue)變(bian)化,甚至(zhi)直到(dao)它的(de)(de)(de)毀(hui)(hui)損(sun)破(po)壞,這(zhe)(zhe)當(dang)中的(de)(de)(de)變(bian)化流易(yi)(yi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)過以十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)一限(xian)(xian)。如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)再(zai)仔細(xi)的(de)(de)(de)感(gan)知,那(nei)它的(de)(de)(de)變(bian)化時(shi)(shi)限(xian)(xian)豈止是(shi)十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)、二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian),實(shi)(shi)際(ji)是(shi)以年(nian)(nian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)限(xian)(xian)的(de)(de)(de),又(you)豈止是(shi)以年(nian)(nian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)一限(xian)(xian),簡(jian)直是(shi)月月在(zai)變(bian),日日在(zai)變(bian)的(de)(de)(de)。如(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)再(zai)沉(chen)觀(guan)(guan)細(xi)察,這(zhe)(zhe)變(bian)化簡(jian)直就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)瞬息之間的(de)(de)(de)事,就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)念(nian)念(nian)剎那(nei)之間的(de)(de)(de)事,沒有(you)任何停(ting)息的(de)(de)(de)時(shi)(shi)候(hou),所以,我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)知道我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)(de)身(shen)(shen)軀(qu)終歸要變(bian)易(yi)(yi)以至(zhi)于(yu)滅(mie)(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)(jue)。
【原文】佛言。大王。汝見變化。遷改不(bu)停。悟知汝滅(mie)(mie)。亦于(yu)滅(mie)(mie)時(shi)。知汝身中有不(bu)滅(mie)(mie)耶。
波(bo)斯匿王。合掌白(bai)佛。我(wo)實(shi)不知。
佛言。我(wo)今示汝(ru)不生滅性。大王。汝(ru)年(nian)幾時(shi)。見恒河水。
王言(yan)。我生三歲。慈(ci)母(mu)攜我。謁耆婆天(tian)。經過此流。爾時即知是恒河水。
佛言。大王(wang)。如汝所說。二十之(zhi)時(shi)衰于十歲。乃至六十。日月歲時(shi)。念念遷變。則汝三歲見此河時(shi)。至年十三。其(qi)水(shui)云何。
王言。如三(san)歲時。宛然無(wu)異。乃(nai)至于(yu)今。年六十(shi)二。亦無(wu)有異。
佛言。汝今自傷發白面皺。其面必定皺于童(tong)年。則汝今時(shi)。觀此恒河(he)。與昔童(tong)時(shi)。觀河(he)之見。有童(tong)耄否。
王言。否(fou)也。世(shi)尊。
佛言(yan)。大王。汝面雖(sui)皺(zhou)。而此(ci)見精。性未曾皺(zhou)。皺(zhou)者為變。不皺(zhou)非變。變者受滅。彼不變者。元無生(sheng)滅。云何(he)于中受汝生(sheng)死。而猶引(yin)彼末(mo)伽(jia)黎等。都言(yan)此(ci)身死后全滅。
王(wang)聞(wen)是言。信知身后(hou)。舍生(sheng)趣生(sheng)。與(yu)諸大眾。踴躍歡喜。得未曾有(you)。
【譯文】如(ru)來(lai)告訴波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang):你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)看(kan)到(dao)了(le)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)化(hua)(hua),這(zhe)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)化(hua)(hua)遷(qian)移流(liu)(liu)轉不(bu)曾停息,從而(er)(er)起啟發你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)知(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)自(zi)己(ji)終將(jiang)滅(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)。然而(er)(er),你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)可曾知(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)就(jiu)在你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)身(shen)軀正在遷(qian)謝變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)易之(zhi)時(shi)(shi)(shi),你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)身(shen)中還(huan)有(you)(you)(you)(you)不(bu)曾滅(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)東(dong)西嗎?波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang)合掌(zhang)對如(ru)來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):我實在不(bu)知(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。如(ru)來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):現(xian)在我就(jiu)告訴你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)不(bu)生(sheng)不(bu)滅(mie)(mie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)道(dao)(dao)(dao)理(li)。大(da)王(wang)(wang),你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)初見恒河(he)時(shi)(shi)(shi)是(shi)(shi)幾歲(sui)(sui)?波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):在我三(san)(san)歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi),母親帶我去(qu)拜謁長命天(tian)神耆婆天(tian),經(jing)過這(zhe)條河(he),那(nei)時(shi)(shi)(shi),我就(jiu)知(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)了(le)恒河(he)。如(ru)來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):大(da)王(wang)(wang),如(ru)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)所說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo),二十歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi)比(bi)十歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi)衰(shuai)老,如(ru)此直到(dao)六十歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi),你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)身(shen)體日(ri)日(ri)月(yue)月(yue)年年都在流(liu)(liu)化(hua)(hua)遷(qian)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian),那(nei)么,你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)三(san)(san)歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi)看(kan)到(dao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)恒河(he),到(dao)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)十三(san)(san)歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi),它的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)流(liu)(liu)水(shui)(shui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)化(hua)(hua)沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)?波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):恒河(he)水(shui)(shui)仍然如(ru)我三(san)(san)歲(sui)(sui)時(shi)(shi)(shi)所見,沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)什么變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)化(hua)(hua),直到(dao)如(ru)今我六十二歲(sui)(sui)了(le),也沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)什么變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)化(hua)(hua)。如(ru)來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):今天(tian)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)感(gan)嘆自(zi)己(ji)白發皺(zhou)皮,認(ren)為(wei)容顏必定比(bi)童(tong)年衰(shuai)老,那(nei)么,你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)現(xian)在對于恒河(he)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)認(ren)識和你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)童(tong)年時(shi)(shi)(shi)對于恒河(he)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)認(ren)識有(you)(you)(you)(you)沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)什么不(bu)同?波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)不(bu)同,世尊。如(ru)來(lai)又說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo):大(da)王(wang)(wang)啊,雖然你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)容顏衰(shuai)皺(zhou)了(le),但(dan)是(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)認(ren)知(zhi)觀見的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精微本性并沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)衰(shuai)皺(zhou)。衰(shuai)皺(zhou)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)遷(qian)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian),沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)衰(shuai)皺(zhou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)遷(qian)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)。遷(qian)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)事(shi)(shi)物(wu)會(hui)滅(mie)(mie)絕(jue)(jue),那(nei)沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)遷(qian)變(bian)(bian)(bian)(bian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)事(shi)(shi)物(wu),本來(lai)也就(jiu)沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)生(sheng)也沒(mei)(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)滅(mie)(mie)。如(ru)此來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo),為(wei)什么要把自(zi)己(ji)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)死(si)置(zhi)于那(nei)生(sheng)生(sheng)滅(mie)(mie)滅(mie)(mie)之(zhi)中,而(er)(er)且還(huan)要隨順那(nei)些道(dao)(dao)(dao)修(xiu)行者的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)妄言,認(ren)為(wei)這(zhe)身(shen)軀在死(si)后即一切(qie)絕(jue)(jue)滅(mie)(mie)了(le)呢?聽了(le)如(ru)來(lai)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)法(fa),波斯(si)(si)匿(ni)王(wang)(wang)確切(qie)知(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)身(shen)軀死(si)亡,并不(bu)是(shi)(shi)完全歸于寂(ji)滅(mie)(mie),而(er)(er)是(shi)(shi)舍棄了(le)現(xian)前的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)命,又走向(xiang)了(le)新的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)命,于是(shi)(shi),他與大(da)眾(zhong)獲得了(le)如(ru)此未曾有(you)(you)(you)(you)過的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)領悟而(er)(er)歡(huan)欣快樂。
【原文】這(zhe)(zhe)時候,阿難起座(zuo),合掌頂禮(li),長跪對(dui)如(ru)來說:世(shi)尊(zun),假(jia)如(ru)我(wo)(wo)的這(zhe)(zhe)個見聞之性(xing),確實(shi)是沒有生滅的,那么(me)(me),為(wei)什么(me)(me)世(shi)尊(zun)說我(wo)(wo)們這(zhe)(zhe)些人遺失了真性(xing),從而行(xing)為(wei)做(zuo)事都(dou)是顛倒的呢?祈愿如(ru)來恩賜慈悲關(guan)懷(huai),為(wei)我(wo)(wo)們洗滌世(shi)間的污垢。
【譯文】阿難(nan)即從座起。禮佛合掌。長(chang)跪白佛。世尊(zun)。若此見聞。必不(bu)生(sheng)滅。云何世尊(zun)。名我(wo)(wo)等(deng)輩。遺失真性。顛倒行事(shi)。愿興慈悲。洗我(wo)(wo)塵垢(gou)。
【原文】即時(shi)。如來垂金色臂。輪(lun)手下指。示(shi)阿難言(yan)。汝今見我母陀(tuo)羅(luo)手。為正為倒。
阿難言。世間眾生。以此為倒。而(er)我(wo)不知誰(shui)正誰(shui)倒。
佛告阿難。若世間(jian)人。以此(ci)為(wei)倒。即世間(jian)人。將何為(wei)正(zheng)。
阿難言(yan)。如來豎(shu)臂。兜羅綿手(shou)。上指于空。則名(ming)為(wei)正。
佛即豎臂(bei)。告阿難(nan)言。若此顛(dian)倒(dao)(dao)(dao)。首尾相換。諸世(shi)間(jian)人。一倍瞻視。則知汝(ru)(ru)身。與諸如來。清凈法身。比類發明。如來之身。名(ming)正遍知。汝(ru)(ru)等(deng)之身。號(hao)性(xing)顛(dian)倒(dao)(dao)(dao)。隨汝(ru)(ru)諦觀。汝(ru)(ru)身佛身。稱顛(dian)倒(dao)(dao)(dao)者(zhe)。名(ming)字何(he)處。號(hao)為顛(dian)倒(dao)(dao)(dao)。
【譯文】這時,只(zhi)見如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)垂下金色手(shou)(shou)臂,將(jiang)手(shou)(shou)指(zhi)向下指(zhi)示,然后問阿(a)難(nan)(nan):你(ni)(ni)(ni)現在看到(dao)了我的(de)母陀羅手(shou)(shou),是(shi)正(zheng)(zheng)還(huan)是(shi)倒(dao)?阿(a)難(nan)(nan)回答(da):在世間(jian)一切眾生(sheng)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)看,這是(shi)倒(dao)。但是(shi)我不知道哪是(shi)正(zheng)(zheng)哪是(shi)倒(dao)。如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)對阿(a)難(nan)(nan)說:如(ru)果世間(jian)眾生(sheng)以(yi)(yi)(yi)這樣子為倒(dao),那么(me)他們(men)(men)以(yi)(yi)(yi)什么(me)樣子為正(zheng)(zheng)呢(ni)?阿(a)難(nan)(nan)回答(da):如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)將(jiang)手(shou)(shou)臂豎(shu)直,將(jiang)兜(dou)羅綿(mian)手(shou)(shou)向上指(zhi)向天空(kong),這就(jiu)叫做正(zheng)(zheng)。如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)隨即豎(shu)直手(shou)(shou)臂,對阿(a)難(nan)(nan)說:假如(ru)這樣子為正(zheng)(zheng),那么(me)不過是(shi)與(yu)剛才的(de)樣子顛(dian)倒(dao)過來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai),上下交換而(er)已。你(ni)(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)仔細觀看,就(jiu)會知道你(ni)(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)的(de)身體,與(yu)各(ge)位如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)具備了戒(jie)、定、慧三大德大能的(de)清(qing)凈法身比較(jiao)起來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai),如(ru)來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)的(de)法身叫做正(zheng)(zheng)遍知,即真正(zheng)(zheng)覺知一切法,以(yi)(yi)(yi)及覺知的(de)圓(yuan)明(ming)不有分別。而(er)你(ni)(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)的(de)身體呢(ni),則叫做顛(dian)倒(dao),即以(yi)(yi)(yi)妄為本,以(yi)(yi)(yi)無常為常的(de)煩惱(nao)根本,你(ni)(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)再(zai)仔細觀想(xiang),你(ni)(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)本來(lai)(lai)(lai)(lai)清(qing)凈的(de)身軀,被稱(cheng)做顛(dian)倒(dao),這顛(dian)倒(dao)之處(chu)究竟在哪里(li)?又為什么(me)要被稱(cheng)作(zuo)顛(dian)倒(dao)?
【原文】于時(shi)。阿(a)難(nan)與諸大(da)(da)眾(zhong)。瞪瞢瞻佛(fo)。目精不瞬。不知身(shen)心(xin)。顛倒所(suo)(suo)在。佛(fo)興慈悲(bei)。哀愍阿(a)難(nan)。及諸大(da)(da)眾(zhong)。發海(hai)潮音。遍(bian)告同會。諸善男(nan)子。我(wo)常說言。色(se)(se)心(xin)諸緣(yuan)。及心(xin)所(suo)(suo)使(shi)。諸所(suo)(suo)緣(yuan)法。惟(wei)心(xin)所(suo)(suo)現。汝身(shen)汝心(xin)。皆是妙(miao)(miao)明(ming)(ming)真精妙(miao)(miao)心(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)所(suo)(suo)現物。云何汝等(deng)。遺(yi)失本妙(miao)(miao)。圓(yuan)妙(miao)(miao)明(ming)(ming)心(xin)。寶明(ming)(ming)妙(miao)(miao)性。認(ren)悟中(zhong)(zhong)迷(mi)。晦昧(mei)為空。空晦暗中(zhong)(zhong)。結暗為色(se)(se)。色(se)(se)雜妄想(xiang)。想(xiang)相(xiang)為身(shen)。聚緣(yuan)內(nei)(nei)搖(yao)。趣外奔逸。昏擾(rao)擾(rao)相(xiang)。以為心(xin)性。一迷(mi)為心(xin)。決定惑為色(se)(se)身(shen)之內(nei)(nei)。不知色(se)(se)身(shen)。外洎山河虛空大(da)(da)地。咸是妙(miao)(miao)明(ming)(ming)真心(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)物。譬如澄清百千大(da)(da)海(hai)。棄之。惟(wei)認(ren)一浮漚體。目為全潮。窮盡瀛渤。汝等(deng)即(ji)是迷(mi)中(zhong)(zhong)倍人。如我(wo)垂手。等(deng)無差別。如來(lai)說為可憐愍者。
【譯文】阿難與眾人一(yi)時目瞪(deng)口(kou)呆,他(ta)們(men)(men)看著如來,竟然(ran)不(bu)(bu)知自(zi)己(ji)身心(xin)(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)顛(dian)(dian)倒(dao)(dao)在那(nei)里(li)。如來恩賜(si)慈悲(bei),悲(bei)憐(lian)眾生,于(yu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)發出海潮音(yin),告示(shi)法會中(zhong)各位:我(wo)常(chang)說(shuo),認(ren)知外物(wu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)攀(pan)緣(yuan)在世(shi)間器物(wu)世(shi)界之(zhi)上,這(zhe)是(shi)(shi)(shi)由心(xin)(xin)(xin)來支使(shi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),而(er)(er)(er)這(zhe)因心(xin)(xin)(xin)所(suo)攀(pan)緣(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)世(shi)間種種形質(zhi)器物(wu),也(ye)只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)現示(shi)而(er)(er)(er)已。你(ni)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)身和心(xin)(xin)(xin),原(yuan)(yuan)本都(dou)(dou)是(shi)(shi)(shi)由圓明(ming)止(zhi)寂真智(zhi)慧(hui)心(xin)(xin)(xin)所(suo)現示(shi)出來的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。為(wei)什(shen)么說(shuo)你(ni)們(men)(men)遣失了原(yuan)(yuan)本屬于(yu)自(zi)己(ji)妙(miao)圓妙(miao)明(ming)心(xin)(xin)(xin),遺失了你(ni)們(men)(men)本來清(qing)凈無(wu)垢的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)妙(miao)明(ming)本體(ti)呢?這(zhe)是(shi)(shi)(shi)因為(wei)你(ni)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)認(ren)識(shi)有了迷(mi)惑(huo)。你(ni)們(men)(men)以(yi)(yi)(yi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)晦暗昏昧為(wei)空(kong),就(jiu)(jiu)在這(zhe)晦暗之(zhi)中(zhong),認(ren)識(shi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)聚(ju)集(ji)為(wei)色(se)質(zhi)器物(wu),這(zhe)易毀(hui)變礙的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)形質(zhi)世(shi)界則混(hun)雜了種種妄(wang)(wang)想顛(dian)(dian)倒(dao)(dao),種種妄(wang)(wang)想顛(dian)(dian)倒(dao)(dao)聚(ju)集(ji)在身內,從而(er)(er)(er),心(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)被種種色(se)塵(chen)緣(yuan)物(wu)搖蕩激動(dong)起來,于(yu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)就(jiu)(jiu)紛紛趨奔(ben)那(nei)易壞滯礙的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)形質(zhi)器物(wu)世(shi)界而(er)(er)(er)去,一(yi)派昏昧迷(mi)惑(huo),擾動(dong)不(bu)(bu)安(an)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)樣子。以(yi)(yi)(yi)如此昏昧不(bu)(bu)安(an)為(wei)本真心(xin)(xin)(xin)體(ti)那(nei)妙(miao)圓妙(miao)明(ming)心(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)已然(ran)迷(mi)失了。本心(xin)(xin)(xin)一(yi)旦迷(mi)失,就(jiu)(jiu)只(zhi)知道(dao)這(zhe)個(ge)心(xin)(xin)(xin)只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)種種塵(chen)緣(yuan)在易壞之(zhi)軀(qu)中(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)聚(ju)集(ji),哪(na)里(li)還知道(dao)這(zhe)個(ge)物(wu)質(zhi)之(zhi)軀(qu),以(yi)(yi)(yi)及那(nei)些山川、河流(liu)、天(tian)空(kong)、大地,也(ye)都(dou)(dou)是(shi)(shi)(shi)如此妙(miao)明(ming)本心(xin)(xin)(xin)所(suo)現示(shi)出來的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)事(shi)物(wu)呢?譬如那(nei)無(wu)邊(bian)無(wu)際的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大海本是(shi)(shi)(shi)澄(cheng)澈明(ming)靜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),可是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)們(men)(men)卻全然(ran)不(bu)(bu)知,反而(er)(er)(er)要以(yi)(yi)(yi)為(wei)那(nei)一(yi)小(xiao)塊臭水洼就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)整個(ge)大海,然(ran)后就(jiu)(jiu)依此而(er)(er)(er)說(shuo)這(zhe)大海全體(ti)都(dou)(dou)是(shi)(shi)(shi)腐(fu)臭的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。你(ni)們(men)(men)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)種迷(mi)上加(jia)迷(mi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人,與我(wo)把手顛(dian)(dian)倒(dao)(dao)交(jiao)換一(yi)樣,你(ni)們(men)(men)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)如此顛(dian)(dian)倒(dao)(dao)妄(wang)(wang)想的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人啊!
【原文】阿難承佛(fo)悲救(jiu)深誨。垂(chui)泣叉手。而白佛(fo)言。我雖(sui)承佛(fo)如是妙音。悟(wu)妙明心(xin)。元所圓(yuan)滿。常住心(xin)地。而我悟(wu)佛(fo)現說法音。現以緣(yuan)心(xin)。允所瞻仰。徒獲此心(xin)。未敢認為(wei)本元心(xin)地。愿(yuan)佛(fo)哀愍。宣示圓(yuan)音。拔我疑根。歸無上道。
【譯文】如(ru)(ru)來(lai)為這些可悲憐的(de)人說法以(yi)后,阿難(nan)領受到了如(ru)(ru)來(lai)的(de)慈悲救(jiu)度和深切的(de)教誨。他(ta)垂手哭(ku)泣起來(lai),并對如(ru)(ru)來(lai)說:我雖然(ran)領承了如(ru)(ru)來(lai)宣(xuan)示(shi)的(de)無(wu)上(shang)佛法,覺悟(wu)到妙(miao)明心本來(lai)即是(shi)圓滿不(bu)差別(bie),是(shi)常存(cun)的(de)心靈境界。然(ran)而,我卻是(shi)以(yi)攀緣之(zhi)(zhi)心去(qu)認知佛所現示(shi)的(de)無(wu)上(shang)法音,我只(zhi)(zhi)是(shi)觀瞻(zhan)仰視(shi),所以(yi),我聽聞佛法,也只(zhi)(zhi)是(shi)徒然(ran)獲取了這個(ge)心,并不(bu)敢以(yi)為我已覺悟(wu)到了本元的(de)那個(ge)妙(miao)明心。祈愿如(ru)(ru)來(lai)哀憐,為我們宣(xuan)示(shi)無(wu)上(shang)佛音,拔除我們迷(mi)昧的(de)根柢,引我們歸入無(wu)上(shang)智慧之(zhi)(zhi)路。
【原文】佛(fo)告(gao)阿難。汝等尚以(yi)緣(yuan)(yuan)心(xin)聽法。此法亦(yi)緣(yuan)(yuan)。非得法性。如人(ren)以(yi)手。指(zhi)(zhi)月示(shi)人(ren)。彼人(ren)因指(zhi)(zhi)。當(dang)應(ying)看月。若(ruo)復觀指(zhi)(zhi)。以(yi)為(wei)月體。此人(ren)豈惟(wei)亡(wang)失月輪。亦(yi)亡(wang)其指(zhi)(zhi)。何以(yi)故。以(yi)所(suo)標指(zhi)(zhi)。為(wei)明月故。豈惟(wei)亡(wang)指(zhi)(zhi)。亦(yi)復不識(shi)明之與(yu)暗(an)。何以(yi)故。即以(yi)指(zhi)(zhi)體。為(wei)月明性。明暗(an)二性。無所(suo)了故。汝亦(yi)如是。若(ruo)以(yi)分(fen)別(bie)(bie)我(wo)說法音(yin)。為(wei)汝心(xin)者。此心(xin)自應(ying)離(li)分(fen)別(bie)(bie)音(yin)。有分(fen)別(bie)(bie)性。譬如有客(ke)。寄(ji)宿旅亭(ting)(ting)(ting)。暫止便去。終(zhong)不常住。而掌亭(ting)(ting)(ting)人(ren)。都無所(suo)去。名為(wei)亭(ting)(ting)(ting)主。此亦(yi)如是。若(ruo)真汝心(xin)。則(ze)(ze)無所(suo)去。云何離(li)聲(sheng)。無分(fen)別(bie)(bie)性。斯則(ze)(ze)豈惟(wei)聲(sheng)分(fen)別(bie)(bie)心(xin)。分(fen)別(bie)(bie)我(wo)容(rong)。離(li)諸(zhu)色相。無分(fen)別(bie)(bie)性。如是乃至(zhi)分(fen)別(bie)(bie)都無。非色非空(kong)。拘舍離(li)等。昧為(wei)冥諦。離(li)諸(zhu)法緣(yuan)(yuan)。無分(fen)別(bie)(bie)性。則(ze)(ze)汝心(xin)性。各有所(suo)還。云何為(wei)主。
【譯文】如(ru)(ru)來(lai)告訴阿難:你們還只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)以(yi)攀緣之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)來(lai)聽(ting)我宣示(shi)佛法(fa),那(nei)(nei)么(me),我所(suo)說(shuo)法(fa)對于你們,仍然(ran)(ran)只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)緣物(wu)而已,你們并沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)獲得對于佛法(fa)真體(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)覺知。就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)像(xiang)有(you)(you)(you)人(ren)(ren)向(xiang)人(ren)(ren)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang),這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)人(ren)(ren)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)應當依(yi)著(zhu)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)去看月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang),如(ru)(ru)果只(zhi)以(yi)手(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)以(yi)為(wei)(wei)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang),那(nei)(nei)么(me)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)人(ren)(ren)不(bu)(bu)(bu)僅看不(bu)(bu)(bu)到(dao)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang),也(ye)看不(bu)(bu)(bu)到(dao)那(nei)(nei)手(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)了(le)(le)(le)。為(wei)(wei)什么(me)?因為(wei)(wei)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)人(ren)(ren)以(yi)指(zhi)(zhi)向(xiang)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)手(shou)為(wei)(wei)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang),這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)又不(bu)(bu)(bu)僅是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)看不(bu)(bu)(bu)到(dao)手(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi),這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)識別(bie)(bie)明(ming)(ming)(ming)和暗。為(wei)(wei)什么(me)?因為(wei)(wei)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)人(ren)(ren)以(yi)手(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)為(wei)(wei)月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)明(ming)(ming)(ming)亮(liang)(liang)性(xing)(xing)(xing)質(zhi)(zhi),雖(sui)然(ran)(ran)手(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)和月(yue)(yue)亮(liang)(liang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)明(ming)(ming)(ming)與暗是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)孑(jie)然(ran)(ran)分(fen)(fen)明(ming)(ming)(ming)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),可是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)人(ren)(ren)卻不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)了(le)(le)(le)解這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)些(xie)。你也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)樣。如(ru)(ru)果你以(yi)聽(ting)我說(shuo)法(fa)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)為(wei)(wei)你的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)本心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),那(nei)(nei)么(me)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)個心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)與我所(suo)說(shuo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)法(fa)音有(you)(you)(you)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)個心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)自此就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)有(you)(you)(you)了(le)(le)(le)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)性(xing)(xing)(xing)。譬(pi)如(ru)(ru)客人(ren)(ren)寄宿旅(lv)店,住了(le)(le)(le)又走(zou)了(le)(le)(le),不(bu)(bu)(bu)會(hui)常(chang)住不(bu)(bu)(bu)走(zou),可是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)旅(lv)店的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)主人(ren)(ren)卻不(bu)(bu)(bu)會(hui)走(zou),因為(wei)(wei)他是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)掌(zhang)持人(ren)(ren)。心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)樣,你的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)真實(shi)(shi)之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)地(di)(di)方可去,哪還說(shuo)什么(me),離(li)(li)(li)開了(le)(le)(le)聽(ting)說(shuo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)聲音這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)了(le)(le)(le)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)性(xing)(xing)(xing)?這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)哪里只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)聽(ting)到(dao)聲音使(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)個心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)生出分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)性(xing)(xing)(xing),就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)其它,比如(ru)(ru)能(neng)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)我的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)容顏的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),離(li)(li)(li)開了(le)(le)(le)所(suo)見容顏,也(ye)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)性(xing)(xing)(xing)。離(li)(li)(li)開一切(qie)形質(zhi)(zhi)世(shi)界(jie),就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)性(xing)(xing)(xing),心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie),那(nei)(nei)么(me)一切(qie)分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie)都沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)了(le)(le)(le),既沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)住在形質(zhi)(zhi)器物(wu)世(shi)界(jie),也(ye)不(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)住在空(kong)無所(suo)有(you)(you)(you)之(zhi)上。像(xiang)拘舍離(li)(li)(li)那(nei)(nei)些(xie)外道,并不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)明(ming)(ming)(ming)了(le)(le)(le)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)個真理。其實(shi)(shi)離(li)(li)(li)棄一切(qie)認(ren)知緣物(wu),心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)生分(fen)(fen)別(bie)(bie),而你的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)會(hui)返還到(dao)本來(lai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)地(di)(di)方,這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)時,你的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)就(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)主人(ren)(ren)了(le)(le)(le)。
【原文】阿難言。若(ruo)我心(xin)性。各有所還。則如(ru)來說。妙明元心(xin)。云何無還。惟垂哀愍。為我宣說。
【譯文】阿(a)難說:如(ru)(ru)果我(wo)的心(xin)各有返歸的地(di)方,那么如(ru)(ru)來宣說那妙明本心(xin)時,為(wei)什么又要講這本心(xin)原來是無所返還的呢(ni)?懇(ken)請(qing)如(ru)(ru)來為(wei)我(wo)宣說。
【原文】佛(fo)告(gao)阿(a)難。且汝(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)我。見(jian)(jian)精明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)元(yuan)。此(ci)見(jian)(jian)雖非(fei)妙(miao)精明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)心(xin)。如第二(er)月(yue)。非(fei)是月(yue)影。汝(ru)(ru)應諦(di)聽。今當示汝(ru)(ru)無所還(huan)(huan)(huan)地。阿(a)難。此(ci)大講堂。洞開東(dong)方。日(ri)(ri)(ri)輪升天。則(ze)(ze)有明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)耀。中夜黑月(yue)。云霧晦暝(ming)。則(ze)(ze)復(fu)(fu)昏暗。戶(hu)牖之(zhi)(zhi)隙。則(ze)(ze)復(fu)(fu)見(jian)(jian)通(tong)。墻宇之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)。則(ze)(ze)復(fu)(fu)觀(guan)壅。分別(bie)(bie)之(zhi)(zhi)處。則(ze)(ze)復(fu)(fu)見(jian)(jian)緣(yuan)。頑(wan)虛(xu)之(zhi)(zhi)中。遍是空性。郁孛之(zhi)(zhi)象(xiang)。則(ze)(ze)紆昏塵。澄(cheng)霽(ji)斂氛。又觀(guan)清凈。阿(a)難。汝(ru)(ru)咸看此(ci)諸變化(hua)相。吾(wu)今各還(huan)(huan)(huan)本所因處。云何本因。阿(a)難。此(ci)諸變化(hua)。明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)還(huan)(huan)(huan)日(ri)(ri)(ri)輪。何以故。無日(ri)(ri)(ri)不(bu)(bu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)因屬日(ri)(ri)(ri)。是故還(huan)(huan)(huan)日(ri)(ri)(ri)。暗還(huan)(huan)(huan)黑月(yue)。通(tong)還(huan)(huan)(huan)戶(hu)牖。壅還(huan)(huan)(huan)墻宇。緣(yuan)還(huan)(huan)(huan)分別(bie)(bie)。頑(wan)虛(xu)還(huan)(huan)(huan)空。郁孛還(huan)(huan)(huan)塵。清明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)還(huan)(huan)(huan)霽(ji)。則(ze)(ze)諸世間(jian)一切所有。不(bu)(bu)出斯類。汝(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)八種(zhong)見(jian)(jian)精明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)性。當欲(yu)誰還(huan)(huan)(huan)。何以故。若(ruo)還(huan)(huan)(huan)于明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。則(ze)(ze)不(bu)(bu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)時。無復(fu)(fu)見(jian)(jian)暗。雖明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)暗等。種(zhong)種(zhong)差別(bie)(bie)。見(jian)(jian)無差別(bie)(bie)。諸可還(huan)(huan)(huan)者。自然(ran)非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)。不(bu)(bu)汝(ru)(ru)還(huan)(huan)(huan)者。非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)而誰。則(ze)(ze)知汝(ru)(ru)心(xin)。本妙(miao)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)凈。汝(ru)(ru)自迷悶。喪本受(shou)輪。于生死中。常被漂溺。是故。如來名可憐愍。
【譯文】如來告訴阿(a)難:當(dang)你(ni)(ni)看(kan)我(wo)時(shi),你(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)觀(guan)(guan)見本(ben)(ben)(ben)身原來是精微明(ming)白(bai)的(de)(de),但是你(ni)(ni)這(zhe)(zhe)個(ge)觀(guan)(guan)見并不(bu)就(jiu)(jiu)是妙精明(ming)心(xin)(xin)本(ben)(ben)(ben)身,而是第二個(ge)月,但決不(bu)是月的(de)(de)影子。你(ni)(ni)仔細聽吧(ba)!我(wo)現(xian)在(zai)就(jiu)(jiu)為你(ni)(ni)宣示心(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)無(wu)所(suo)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)的(de)(de)境(jing)界。阿(a)難,這(zhe)(zhe)個(ge)大(da)講(jiang)堂門戶向著東方敞開,太(tai)陽(yang)升空(kong)(kong)時(shi),講(jiang)堂就(jiu)(jiu)明(ming)亮起來,夜(ye)間(jian)月昏(hun)無(wu)光(guang),云遮霧罩,講(jiang)堂就(jiu)(jiu)又昏(hun)暗(an)(an)起來,通(tong)過門窗間(jian)的(de)(de)縫隙可(ke)看(kan)出去,而對著墻(qiang)壁房屋則(ze)(ze)(ze)只(zhi)能(neng)看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)堵(du)塞(sai),但它(ta)們之(zhi)間(jian)的(de)(de)間(jian)隔分離處就(jiu)(jiu)可(ke)以看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)外物(wu)。虛空(kong)(kong)之(zhi)中(zhong)一無(wu)所(suo)有(you)(you),壅(yong)(yong)塞(sai)的(de)(de)大(da)地(di)(di)則(ze)(ze)(ze)一片渾(hun)(hun)沌,云氣澄斂時(shi)則(ze)(ze)(ze)一派晴(qing)明(ming)。阿(a)難,在(zai)這(zhe)(zhe)些變化事(shi)物(wu)之(zhi)中(zhong),光(guang)明(ming)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)太(tai)陽(yang)那(nei)里(li)(li)。為什么(me)呢(ni)?沒有(you)(you)太(tai)陽(yang)就(jiu)(jiu)沒有(you)(you)光(guang)明(ming),產生(sheng)光(guang)明(ming)的(de)(de)本(ben)(ben)(ben)因(yin)是太(tai)陽(yang),所(suo)以讓它(ta)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)那(nei)里(li)(li)。如此,則(ze)(ze)(ze)昏(hun)暗(an)(an)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)暗(an)(an)月,通(tong)明(ming)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)門窗,堵(du)塞(sai)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)墻(qiang)宇,緣(yuan)塵外物(wu)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)俗間(jian)隔分離性,空(kong)(kong)無(wu)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)虛空(kong)(kong),渾(hun)(hun)濁返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)壅(yong)(yong)塞(sai)大(da)地(di)(di),晴(qing)明(ming)當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)澄斂的(de)(de)云氣。世間(jian)一切事(shi)物(wu),都可(ke)以這(zhe)(zhe)樣(yang)一一返(fan)(fan)還(huan)。你(ni)(ni)所(suo)見這(zhe)(zhe)八種觀(guan)(guan)見,應當(dang)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)誰呢(ni)?為什么(me)這(zhe)(zhe)么(me)說?如果你(ni)(ni)將(jiang)觀(guan)(guan)見返(fan)(fan)還(huan)給(gei)光(guang)明(ming),那(nei)么(me)沒有(you)(you)光(guang)明(ming)時(shi),你(ni)(ni)就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)能(neng)看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)昏(hun)暗(an)(an),雖然像光(guang)明(ming)、昏(hun)暗(an)(an)這(zhe)(zhe)些事(shi)物(wu)有(you)(you)種種差別(bie),然而你(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)觀(guan)(guan)見本(ben)(ben)(ben)身并沒有(you)(you)差別(bie),它(ta)們所(suo)要返(fan)(fan)還(huan)的(de)(de)地(di)(di)方并不(bu)是你(ni)(ni)這(zhe)(zhe)里(li)(li)。不(bu)返(fan)(fan)還(huan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)你(ni)(ni)這(zhe)(zhe)里(li)(li)的(de)(de),不(bu)是你(ni)(ni)自己又是誰呢(ni)?這(zhe)(zhe)就(jiu)(jiu)知道了,你(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)本(ben)(ben)(ben)來是妙明(ming)清凈的(de)(de),只(zhi)因(yin)你(ni)(ni)自己迷(mi)失了,才喪失了本(ben)(ben)(ben)心(xin)(xin),從(cong)而淪(lun)入流(liu)轉,在(zai)那(nei)生(sheng)死煩惱(nao)之(zhi)中(zhong)漂泊沉溺(ni),所(suo)以如來叫你(ni)(ni)為可(ke)憐(lian)蟲。
【原文】阿難言。我雖識此見性無還。云何得知是(shi)我真性。
【譯文】阿難說:雖然我意識(shi)得到(dao)觀(guan)見本身本來就(jiu)不返還到(dao)什(shen)么地方,可是,怎么能(neng)夠知道這就(jiu)是我的真實本性呢?
【原文】佛(fo)告阿(a)(a)難(nan)。吾(wu)(wu)今問(wen)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。今汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)未得無漏(lou)清(qing)凈(jing)。承(cheng)佛(fo)神力。見(jian)(jian)(jian)于(yu)初禪。得無障礙。而阿(a)(a)那律(lv)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)閻浮提。如觀掌中(zhong)庵摩羅果。諸(zhu)菩薩等。見(jian)(jian)(jian)百千(qian)界。十方(fang)如來。窮盡(jin)微(wei)塵(chen)清(qing)凈(jing)國土。無所(suo)不(bu)(bu)矚(zhu)。眾生洞視。不(bu)(bu)過分寸。阿(a)(a)難(nan)。且吾(wu)(wu)與汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。觀四(si)天(tian)王所(suo)住宮殿。中(zhong)間遍覽水陸空行。雖有(you)(you)(you)昏(hun)明(ming)。種種形(xing)像。無非(fei)前塵(chen)。分別(bie)留礙。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)應于(yu)此。分別(bie)自他(ta)。今吾(wu)(wu)將汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)擇(ze)于(yu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)中(zhong)。誰(shui)是我(wo)體。誰(shui)為物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)象。阿(a)(a)難(nan)。極汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)源。從(cong)日月宮。是物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。至七金山(shan)。周遍諦觀。雖種種光。亦(yi)(yi)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。漸(jian)漸(jian)更觀。云騰(teng)鳥飛。風動(dong)塵(chen)起。樹木山(shan)川(chuan)。草芥(jie)人畜。咸物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。阿(a)(a)難(nan)。是諸(zhu)近遠諸(zhu)有(you)(you)(you)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)性(xing)(xing)(xing)。雖復差殊。同汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)精。清(qing)凈(jing)所(suo)矚(zhu)。則(ze)諸(zhu)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)類(lei)。自有(you)(you)(you)差別(bie)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)性(xing)(xing)(xing)無殊。此精妙明(ming)。誠汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)性(xing)(xing)(xing)。若(ruo)見(jian)(jian)(jian)是物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)。則(ze)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)亦(yi)(yi)可見(jian)(jian)(jian)吾(wu)(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。若(ruo)同見(jian)(jian)(jian)者。名為見(jian)(jian)(jian)吾(wu)(wu)。吾(wu)(wu)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)時(shi)(shi)。何(he)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)吾(wu)(wu)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)處。若(ruo)見(jian)(jian)(jian)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。自然非(fei)彼(bi)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)相。若(ruo)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)吾(wu)(wu)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)地。自然非(fei)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)。云何(he)非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。又則(ze)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)今見(jian)(jian)(jian)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)時(shi)(shi)。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)既(ji)見(jian)(jian)(jian)物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)。物(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)亦(yi)(yi)見(jian)(jian)(jian)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)。體性(xing)(xing)(xing)紛雜。則(ze)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)與我(wo)。并(bing)諸(zhu)世間。不(bu)(bu)成安立。阿(a)(a)難(nan)。若(ruo)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)時(shi)(shi)。是汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)非(fei)我(wo)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)性(xing)(xing)(xing)周遍。非(fei)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)而誰(shui)。云何(he)自疑(yi)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)之(zhi)(zhi)真性(xing)(xing)(xing)。性(xing)(xing)(xing)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)(ru)不(bu)(bu)真。取我(wo)求實。

(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)看(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)了(le)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)沒有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),這(zhe)個沒有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)自(zi)然就(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)會(hui)是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)沒有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。如(ru)(ru)果你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能看(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)沒有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),那(nei)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)也就(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)所(suo)(suo)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)物(wu)(wu)質的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)東西。這(zhe)時,難(nan)道觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)本身不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)真實(shi)本性(xing)?另外(wai),當你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)看(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)事(shi)物(wu)(wu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)時候(hou),同(tong)時物(wu)(wu)也看(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)了(le)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)。心體(ti)與物(wu)(wu)體(ti)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)樣(yang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)關系,兩(liang)體(ti)間關系雜亂混擾,那(nei)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)和我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)以(yi)及這(zhe)世間萬象就(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能夠(gou)井然安立了(le)。阿(a)(a)難(nan),當你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)去觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)時,這(zhe)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)。觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)本身遍(bian)(bian)布觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)對(dui)象,這(zhe)一(yi)(yi)切不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心體(ti)又是(shi)(shi)(shi)誰(shui)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)呢(ni)?為(wei)什(shen)么(me)要(yao)疑惑你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)自(zi)己的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)本真心性(xing)呢(ni)?這(zhe)恰恰是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)有(you)(you)真而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)以(yi)為(wei)真,是(shi)(shi)(shi)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)依持(chi)自(zi)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)執心來(lai)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)這(zhe)里(li)(li)(li)求取真實(shi)本性(xing)。
【原文】阿(a)難白佛言(yan)。世(shi)尊(zun)。若此見(jian)性。必我(wo)非(fei)余(yu)。我(wo)與(yu)如(ru)來。觀四天王(wang)勝藏寶(bao)殿。居日月宮(gong)。此見(jian)周圓。遍娑婆(po)國。退(tui)歸(gui)精舍。只見(jian)伽藍。清心戶堂。但瞻檐廡。世(shi)尊(zun)。此見(jian)如(ru)是。其(qi)體本(ben)來周遍一界。今在室(shi)中(zhong)。惟滿一室(shi)。為復此見(jian)縮大為小。為當(dang)墻宇夾(jia)令斷絕。我(wo)今不知斯義所(suo)在。愿(yuan)垂弘慈。為我(wo)敷演(yan)。
【譯文】阿難告訴如來:世尊,如果觀見真性在我(wo)這(zhe)(zhe)里(li)而不在其它地方,我(wo)和(he)如來一起觀看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)四天王的(de)勝藏寶殿(dian),看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)他所居住的(de)日月(yue)宮,這(zhe)(zhe)個(ge)觀見周遍(bian)盈布在四方廣(guang)遠的(de)娑婆(po)國。然后轉(zhuan)回(hui)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)只(zhi)園精(jing)舍(she)時,只(zhi)看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)這(zhe)(zhe)伽藍寶座,清(qing)靜堂(tang)屋(wu),只(zhi)看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)這(zhe)(zhe)房檐和(he)走廊而已。世尊,這(zhe)(zhe)個(ge)觀見本(ben)來是遍(bian)觀一切廣(guang)大精(jing)微世界的(de),為(wei)什么我(wo)進到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)室內,就只(zhi)能(neng)看(kan)到(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)這(zhe)(zhe)室內的(de)事物,是這(zhe)(zhe)觀見縮小(xiao)了(le)嗎?或(huo)者,是這(zhe)(zhe)觀見被墻壁房屋(wu)阻(zu)隔了(le)嗎?我(wo)真不知道這(zhe)(zhe)當中(zhong)的(de)道理,祈愿如來垂(chui)賜慈悲(bei),為(wei)我(wo)宣(xuan)說。
【原文】佛告阿難。一(yi)切世(shi)間。大小(xiao)內外。諸所事業(ye)。各(ge)屬前塵。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)應(ying)(ying)說(shuo)言見有舒縮。譬如(ru)方器(qi)。中見方空(kong)(kong)。吾復問汝。此方器(qi)中所見方空(kong)(kong)。為(wei)(wei)(wei)復定(ding)(ding)方。為(wei)(wei)(wei)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)定(ding)(ding)方。若定(ding)(ding)方者。別安圓器(qi)。空(kong)(kong)應(ying)(ying)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)圓。若不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)定(ding)(ding)者。在方器(qi)中。應(ying)(ying)無(wu)方空(kong)(kong)。汝言不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知斯(si)義所在。義性(xing)如(ru)是。云何為(wei)(wei)(wei)在。阿難。若復欲令入無(wu)方圓。但除器(qi)方。空(kong)(kong)體無(wu)方。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)應(ying)(ying)說(shuo)言。更(geng)除虛空(kong)(kong)方相所在。若如(ru)汝問。入室之(zhi)時。縮見令小(xiao)。仰觀日時。汝豈挽見齊于(yu)日面。若筑墻宇(yu)。能(neng)(neng)夾見斷。穿為(wei)(wei)(wei)小(xiao)竇。寧無(wu)竇跡(ji)。是義不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)然。一(yi)切眾(zhong)生。從無(wu)始(shi)來(lai)。迷(mi)己(ji)為(wei)(wei)(wei)物(wu)(wu)(wu)。失于(yu)本心。為(wei)(wei)(wei)物(wu)(wu)(wu)所轉。故于(yu)是中。觀大觀小(xiao)。若能(neng)(neng)轉物(wu)(wu)(wu)。則同如(ru)來(lai)。身心圓明。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)動道(dao)場。于(yu)一(yi)毛端(duan)。遍能(neng)(neng)含受(shou)十方國土。
【譯文】如(ru)(ru)來告訴阿(a)難(nan):世間(jian)(jian)一(yi)(yi)(yi)切(qie)事物,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)分(fen)大小(xiao)(xiao)、內(nei)外(wai)(wai),都是(shi)虛(xu)妄外(wai)(wai)塵境象現示在(zai)(zai)(zai)面前(qian),外(wai)(wai)塵事物有(you)(you)(you)大有(you)(you)(you)小(xiao)(xiao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)要說(shuo)是(shi)觀見(jian)本(ben)身有(you)(you)(you)大有(you)(you)(you)小(xiao)(xiao)。譬如(ru)(ru),拿一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)器(qi)皿來,看的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)到(dao)(dao)中間(jian)(jian)有(you)(you)(you)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)空(kong)(kong)(kong)間(jian)(jian)。我問你(ni)(ni),這(zhe)個(ge)(ge)(ge)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)器(qi)皿中的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)空(kong)(kong)(kong)間(jian)(jian),是(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)固(gu)定(ding)(ding)(ding)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)呢(ni),還是(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)固(gu)定(ding)(ding)(ding)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)?如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)是(shi)固(gu)定(ding)(ding)(ding)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing),那(nei)(nei)(nei)我拿一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)圓形(xing)(xing)器(qi)皿安置在(zai)(zai)(zai)它那(nei)(nei)(nei)里(li),那(nei)(nei)(nei)個(ge)(ge)(ge)圓形(xing)(xing)器(qi)皿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空(kong)(kong)(kong)間(jian)(jian)就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)應當(dang)(dang)是(shi)圓形(xing)(xing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)是(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)固(gu)定(ding)(ding)(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing),那(nei)(nei)(nei)么在(zai)(zai)(zai)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)器(qi)皿之中就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)應當(dang)(dang)有(you)(you)(you)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)空(kong)(kong)(kong)間(jian)(jian)。你(ni)(ni)說(shuo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知道道理(li)在(zai)(zai)(zai)那(nei)(nei)(nei)里(li),這(zhe)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)道理(li),怎么還能說(shuo)觀見(jian)有(you)(you)(you)大有(you)(you)(you)小(xiao)(xiao)呢(ni)?阿(a)難(nan),如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)想要進(jin)到(dao)(dao)無(wu)方(fang)(fang)無(wu)圓的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)狀態(tai),只要拆(chai)除器(qi)皿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)外(wai)(wai)形(xing)(xing),成為(wei)一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)無(wu)形(xing)(xing)無(wu)狀的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空(kong)(kong)(kong)體就(jiu)(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)了(le)(le),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)用說(shuo),在(zai)(zai)(zai)虛(xu)空(kong)(kong)(kong)之中更是(shi)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)方(fang)(fang)形(xing)(xing)這(zhe)個(ge)(ge)(ge)東西可(ke)以(yi)拆(chai)除的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)像你(ni)(ni)所(suo)問那(nei)(nei)(nei)樣(yang)(yang),在(zai)(zai)(zai)室內(nei)時,觀見(jian)就(jiu)(jiu)縮小(xiao)(xiao)了(le)(le),那(nei)(nei)(nei)么當(dang)(dang)你(ni)(ni)仰頭(tou)看太陽時,你(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)觀見(jian)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)就(jiu)(jiu)有(you)(you)(you)從你(ni)(ni)這(zhe)里(li)到(dao)(dao)太陽那(nei)(nei)(nei)兒那(nei)(nei)(nei)樣(yang)(yang)大嗎?如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)墻(qiang)壁房(fang)屋(wu)能夠(gou)(gou)阻(zu)(zu)斷觀見(jian),那(nei)(nei)(nei)么在(zai)(zai)(zai)墻(qiang)上(shang)穿上(shang)一(yi)(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)(ge)小(xiao)(xiao)孔,那(nei)(nei)(nei)觀見(jian)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)就(jiu)(jiu)連續起來而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)被阻(zu)(zu)斷?可(ke)是(shi),這(zhe)個(ge)(ge)(ge)被連續起來的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)觀見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)痕(hen)跡,又在(zai)(zai)(zai)哪里(li)呢(ni)?所(suo)以(yi),并無(wu)這(zhe)樣(yang)(yang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)道理(li)。一(yi)(yi)(yi)切(qie)眾生,從久遠的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)無(wu)始無(wu)源之中,就(jiu)(jiu)將自己(ji)迷失(shi)為(wei)物,將本(ben)真心(xin)性也(ye)迷失(shi)了(le)(le),從此被外(wai)(wai)物推動著輪轉(zhuan)流蕩,在(zai)(zai)(zai)這(zhe)當(dang)(dang)中一(yi)(yi)(yi)會(hui)兒觀看到(dao)(dao)大,一(yi)(yi)(yi)會(hui)兒觀看到(dao)(dao)小(xiao)(xiao)。如(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)能夠(gou)(gou)反過來,去(qu)轉(zhuan)動外(wai)(wai)物,那(nei)(nei)(nei)就(jiu)(jiu)會(hui)與(yu)如(ru)(ru)來一(yi)(yi)(yi)樣(yang)(yang),身心(xin)圓明無(wu)差別無(wu)滯(zhi)礙,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)動真際安穩清凈,離(li)開一(yi)(yi)(yi)切(qie)事物的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大小(xiao)(xiao)內(nei)外(wai)(wai)等等,能夠(gou)(gou)在(zai)(zai)(zai)一(yi)(yi)(yi)微(wei)細毛塵上(shang)面放(fang)置十方(fang)(fang)廣(guang)大國土。
【原文】阿難白(bai)佛(fo)言(yan)。世(shi)尊。若此見(jian)精。必我(wo)妙性(xing)。令此妙性(xing)。現(xian)在我(wo)前。見(jian)必我(wo)真。我(wo)今(jin)身(shen)(shen)心(xin)。復是何物。而今(jin)身(shen)(shen)心(xin)分別有實(shi)(shi)。彼見(jian)無別分辨我(wo)身(shen)(shen)。若實(shi)(shi)我(wo)心(xin)。令我(wo)今(jin)見(jian)。見(jian)性(xing)實(shi)(shi)我(wo)。而身(shen)(shen)非我(wo)。何殊如來(lai)先所難言(yan)。物能見(jian)我(wo)。惟垂大慈。開發未(wei)悟。
【譯文】阿難對如來說:世尊,像這(zhe)樣的(de)(de)精妙(miao)觀(guan)見(jian),一定就是(shi)(shi)我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)妙(miao)明本性。現(xian)在(zai)這(zhe)妙(miao)明本性現(xian)示(shi)在(zai)我(wo)(wo)面前,這(zhe)精妙(miao)觀(guan)見(jian)就是(shi)(shi)我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)真(zhen)實本體。那么,我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)身心,又是(shi)(shi)什(shen)么東(dong)西呢?現(xian)在(zai),我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)身心是(shi)(shi)分別的(de)(de),各有實體,而那精明觀(guan)見(jian)卻是(shi)(shi)圓明無礙的(de)(de),又不(bu)分別我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)身心。如果我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)心是(shi)(shi)一個(ge)實體,讓我(wo)(wo)去看它,那么我(wo)(wo)就成了一個(ge)觀(guan)見(jian),從而我(wo)(wo)就不(bu)是(shi)(shi)我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)身體,這(zhe)與如來前面對我(wo)(wo)所說,當我(wo)(wo)看物(wu)時,物(wu)也在(zai)看我(wo)(wo),有什(shen)么不(bu)同(tong)呢?懇請如來啟發我(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)迷疑不(bu)悟(wu)。
【原文】佛(fo)告阿難(nan)。今(jin)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)所言。見(jian)(jian)在(zai)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)前(qian)(qian)。是(shi)(shi)義非(fei)實(shi)。若實(shi)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)前(qian)(qian)。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)實(shi)見(jian)(jian)者(zhe)。則此(ci)見(jian)(jian)精(jing)(jing)。既(ji)有(you)方所。非(fei)無指示。且(qie)今(jin)與汝(ru)(ru)(ru)。坐祇陀林。遍(bian)觀林渠。及與殿堂。上至(zhi)日月。前(qian)(qian)對恒(heng)河。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)今(jin)于(yu)我獅子座前(qian)(qian)。舉(ju)手(shou)指陳(chen)。是(shi)(shi)種種相。陰者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)林。明者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)日。礙者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)壁(bi)。通者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)空。如是(shi)(shi)乃(nai)至(zhi)草樹(shu)纖毫。大(da)小雖殊。但可有(you)形(xing)。無不指著。若必有(you)見(jian)(jian)。現(xian)在(zai)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)前(qian)(qian)。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)應(ying)以手(shou)確實(shi)指陳(chen)。何(he)(he)者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)見(jian)(jian)。阿難(nan)。當(dang)知(zhi)若空是(shi)(shi)見(jian)(jian)。既(ji)已(yi)成見(jian)(jian)。何(he)(he)者(zhe)是(shi)(shi)空。若物是(shi)(shi)見(jian)(jian)。既(ji)已(yi)是(shi)(shi)見(jian)(jian)。何(he)(he)者(zhe)為(wei)物。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)可微(wei)細披剝萬象。析出精(jing)(jing)明凈妙見(jian)(jian)元(yuan)。指陳(chen)示我。同彼諸物。分(fen)明無惑。
【譯文】如(ru)來(lai)告訴阿難(nan):你(ni)(ni)(ni)說(shuo)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)就(jiu)在(zai)(zai)你(ni)(ni)(ni)的(de)(de)面(mian)(mian)前,這并不(bu)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)說(shuo)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)本身是(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)個實體。如(ru)果(guo)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)作為一(yi)(yi)個實體在(zai)(zai)你(ni)(ni)(ni)面(mian)(mian)前,你(ni)(ni)(ni)確實看(kan)到了,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)這精妙觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)雖然有(you)所(suo)居處的(de)(de)地(di)(di)方,卻并沒有(you)把(ba)這地(di)(di)方指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)出(chu)來(lai)。現(xian)在(zai)(zai),我與(yu)你(ni)(ni)(ni)坐在(zai)(zai)只陀園里,看(kan)那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)四(si)處是(shi)(shi)樹林(lin)溪流和宮殿(dian)講堂(tang),上可(ke)見(jian)(jian)日(ri)月,前可(ke)見(jian)(jian)恒河,你(ni)(ni)(ni)正坐在(zai)(zai)我的(de)(de)座前,用手指(zhi)(zhi)點著,表示(shi)著。這一(yi)(yi)切事(shi)(shi)物(wu)(wu),那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)昏暗(an)的(de)(de)樹林(lin),那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)明亮的(de)(de)是(shi)(shi)太陽,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)阻隔的(de)(de)是(shi)(shi)墻壁,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)空(kong)闊的(de)(de)是(shi)(shi)天空(kong),如(ru)此(ci)這般,以(yi)至(zhi)于草木(mu)纖毫之物(wu)(wu),雖然有(you)大有(you)小(xiao),但(dan)是(shi)(shi)它(ta)們(men)都有(you)形有(you)貌(mao),都可(ke)以(yi)指(zhi)(zhi)陳出(chu)來(lai)。如(ru)果(guo)精神觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)一(yi)(yi)定就(jiu)現(xian)示(shi)在(zai)(zai)面(mian)(mian)前,你(ni)(ni)(ni)就(jiu)應當能用手把(ba)它(ta)指(zhi)(zhi)陳出(chu)來(lai),指(zhi)(zhi)出(chu)哪樣(yang)東西就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)個觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)。阿難(nan)啊!你(ni)(ni)(ni)應當知道,如(ru)果(guo)空(kong)無就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian),既(ji)然觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)已(yi)經(jing)現(xian)在(zai)(zai)眼前,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)么(me)(me)什么(me)(me)又(you)是(shi)(shi)空(kong)無呢?如(ru)果(guo)事(shi)(shi)物(wu)(wu)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian),既(ji)然觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)巳經(jing)現(xian)示(shi)出(chu)來(lai),那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)么(me)(me)什么(me)(me)又(you)是(shi)(shi)事(shi)(shi)物(wu)(wu)呢?你(ni)(ni)(ni)可(ke)以(yi)仔細剖析萬事(shi)(shi)萬物(wu)(wu),將那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)精明觀(guan)(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)本體指(zhi)(zhi)示(shi)出(chu)來(lai)讓(rang)我看(kan)看(kan),看(kan)它(ta)是(shi)(shi)否同種種事(shi)(shi)物(wu)(wu)一(yi)(yi)樣(yang),可(ke)以(yi)分辨(bian)清(qing)楚(chu)。
【原文】阿難言。我今于此重閣講堂。遠(yuan)洎恒河。上(shang)觀日月(yue)。舉手所指(zhi)(zhi)。縱目(mu)所觀。指(zhi)(zhi)皆(jie)是物。無是見者。世(shi)尊。如(ru)佛(fo)所說。況我有漏初學聲聞(wen)。乃至菩薩(sa)。亦(yi)不能于萬物象前。剖出(chu)精(jing)見。離(li)一切物。別有自性。
【譯文】阿(a)難說(shuo):我現(xian)在坐在講堂(tang)上,往遠可(ke)以看見(jian)恒河,往上可(ke)以看見(jian)日月(yue),用手所指示的和以眼所看見(jian)的,都(dou)是(shi)事物(wu),并不(bu)是(shi)觀(guan)見(jian)。世尊(zun),正(zheng)如佛所說(shuo),我還(huan)只是(shi)一個研學(xue)很淺的修行者,即使是(shi)菩薩的智慧,也不(bu)能(neng)從(cong)萬(wan)物(wu)萬(wan)象之中將精明觀(guan)見(jian)剖解出來,使其能(neng)離開一切物(wu)象,獨立(li)而另有自己的體(ti)性。

阿難(nan)言。我實遍見此祇陀(tuo)林。不知(zhi)是中(zhong)(zhong)。何(he)(he)者(zhe)非見。何(he)(he)以故。若樹(shu)非見。云(yun)(yun)(yun)何(he)(he)見樹(shu)。若樹(shu)即見。復云(yun)(yun)(yun)何(he)(he)樹(shu)。如是乃至若空非見。云(yun)(yun)(yun)何(he)(he)為空。若空即見。復云(yun)(yun)(yun)何(he)(he)空。我又思惟。是萬(wan)象中(zhong)(zhong)。微細發明。無非見者(zhe)。
【譯文】如(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)說(shuo):的確如(ru)(ru)(ru)此。如(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)又(you)對阿(a)難說(shuo):如(ru)(ru)(ru)你(ni)所說(shuo),并沒(mei)有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見的自(zi)體,能(neng)夠從(cong)(cong)物(wu)(wu)(wu)象中(zhong)剖離出來(lai),另(ling)有(you)(you)自(zi)身(shen)本性。但是(shi)(shi)(shi),你(ni)所指(zhi)陳(chen)的這(zhe)(zhe)些物(wu)(wu)(wu)象之中(zhong),也(ye)并沒(mei)有(you)(you)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見。我告訴你(ni),你(ni)與(yu)如(ru)(ru)(ru)來(lai)同(tong)坐(zuo)在只陀(tuo)(tuo)林(lin)里,再看(kan)(kan)這(zhe)(zhe)些林(lin)園和日月等等不(bu)同(tong)的物(wu)(wu)(wu)象,肯定你(ni)不(bu)能(neng)從(cong)(cong)這(zhe)(zhe)當中(zhong)指(zhi)示(shi)出有(you)(you)精明(ming)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見,那(nei)么(me)(me)(me),你(ni)能(neng)夠從(cong)(cong)這(zhe)(zhe)些物(wu)(wu)(wu)象之中(zhong),指(zhi)示(shi)出哪些不(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見呢(ni)?阿(a)難回答:我看(kan)(kan)遍了只陀(tuo)(tuo)林(lin),仍(reng)然(ran)不(bu)能(neng)知(zhi)道這(zhe)(zhe)當中(zhong)哪些事物(wu)(wu)(wu)不(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見。為什(shen)(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)呢(ni)?如(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)樹沒(mei)有(you)(you)被看(kan)(kan)見,為什(shen)(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)又(you)說(shuo)看(kan)(kan)見了樹?如(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)樹就是(shi)(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見本身(shen),那(nei)么(me)(me)(me)什(shen)(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)才是(shi)(shi)(shi)樹?這(zhe)(zhe)樣說(shuo)來(lai),如(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)空(kong)無(wu)(wu)不(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見,又(you)說(shuo)什(shen)(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)看(kan)(kan)見了空(kong)無(wu)(wu)?如(ru)(ru)(ru)果(guo)(guo)空(kong)無(wu)(wu)就是(shi)(shi)(shi)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見,那(nei)么(me)(me)(me)什(shen)(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)又(you)是(shi)(shi)(shi)空(kong)無(wu)(wu)呢(ni)?我又(you)想到,仔細(xi)剖析辨明(ming)這(zhe)(zhe)些萬(wan)物(wu)(wu)(wu)萬(wan)象,它們無(wu)(wu)一(yi)處不(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)些精明(ming)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見本身(shen)。

于(yu)是大(da)眾。非(fei)無學(xue)者。聞佛(fo)此言。茫然不(bu)知是義(yi)終始。一時惶(huang)悚(song)。失其所守。如(ru)來知其魂慮變懾。心生憐(lian)愍(min)。安慰阿難(nan)。及諸(zhu)大(da)眾。諸(zhu)善男子(zi)。無上法王。是真(zhen)實(shi)語(yu)。如(ru)所如(ru)說。不(bu)誑(kuang)不(bu)妄。非(fei)末伽(jia)黎。四(si)種不(bu)死矯亂論議。汝(ru)諦思惟。無忝哀慕(mu)。
【譯文】如(ru)來(lai)說:確實(shi)如(ru)此。在(zai)(zai)座聽法的大(da)眾(zhong)(zhong),許(xu)多是初(chu)學修習者,聽到如(ru)來(lai)這(zhe)樣(yang)說,都茫然不(bu)知此話道理(li)何在(zai)(zai)了,一時之(zhi)間皆惶惑起來(lai),失卻了素常所奉的修習之(zhi)道。如(ru)來(lai)知曉他們的心思(si)正焦慮不(bu)安,于是生出憐憫(min)來(lai),他安慰(wei)阿難(nan)和(he)大(da)眾(zhong)(zhong)們說:聰明智慧的人們啊!我之(zhi)所說真實(shi)不(bu)虛,本(ben)來(lai)如(ru)此,沒有(you)假話也沒有(you)狂(kuang)言,不(bu)是像末(mo)伽(jia)黎議論(lun)四種(zhong)不(bu)死的那種(zhong)胡說亂議。你們去(qu)沉思(si)諦觀吧,不(bu)要再哀怨憂慮了。
【原文】是(shi)(shi)(shi)時。文殊師利法王子(zi)。愍諸(zhu)四眾(zhong)。在大(da)(da)眾(zhong)中。即(ji)從座起。頂禮(li)佛(fo)足。合掌恭敬。而白佛(fo)言。世尊(zun)。此諸(zhu)大(da)(da)眾(zhong)。不悟如來(lai)發(fa)明(ming)二種精見色(se)空。是(shi)(shi)(shi)非(fei)(fei)是(shi)(shi)(shi)義。世尊(zun)。若(ruo)此前緣。色(se)空等象。若(ruo)是(shi)(shi)(shi)見者。應(ying)(ying)有(you)所指。若(ruo)非(fei)(fei)見者。應(ying)(ying)無(wu)所矚(zhu)。而今不知是(shi)(shi)(shi)義所歸。故有(you)驚(jing)怖。非(fei)(fei)是(shi)(shi)(shi)疇昔善根輕(qing)鮮。惟愿如來(lai)。大(da)(da)慈(ci)發(fa)明(ming)。此諸(zhu)物(wu)象。與此見精。元是(shi)(shi)(shi)何物(wu)。于(yu)其中間。無(wu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)非(fei)(fei)是(shi)(shi)(shi)。
【譯文】這時候,文殊師利菩(pu)薩哀憫會中(zhong)大眾,就(jiu)從座上站起,頂禮如(ru)來(lai)(lai),合掌恭敬(jing),對(dui)如(ru)來(lai)(lai)說:世尊,大眾們沒有悟解到如(ru)來(lai)(lai)所說這兩(liang)種精(jing)明觀(guan)(guan)見(jian)皆是(shi)色塵空(kong)性,其(qi)道理在于,是(shi)即(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi),不(bu)(bu)是(shi)即(ji)是(shi)的(de)(de)(de)辨證(zheng)之中(zhong)。世尊,如(ru)果(guo)(guo)這些形(xing)質器(qi)物以(yi)(yi)及一(yi)切空(kong)性,都是(shi)物象,那么(me),如(ru)果(guo)(guo)看(kan)見(jian)了,就(jiu)應(ying)當有可以(yi)(yi)指(zhi)出的(de)(de)(de)對(dui)象,如(ru)果(guo)(guo)沒有看(kan)見(jian),就(jiu)應(ying)當沒有那些所可看(kan)見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)切。大眾不(bu)(bu)知道這個(ge)道理的(de)(de)(de)含(han)義,所以(yi)(yi)驚慌無措(cuo),并不(bu)(bu)是(shi)他們的(de)(de)(de)智慧(hui)根器(qi)浮淺不(bu)(bu)深。懇請如(ru)來(lai)(lai)發(fa)慈悲(bei)心,引導(dao)大眾明了,這些種種物象和這個(ge)精(jing)明觀(guan)(guan)見(jian)本(ben)來(lai)(lai)究竟是(shi)什么(me)東西?為什么(me)在這中(zhong)間(jian),沒有是(shi),也沒有不(bu)(bu)是(shi)?
【原文】佛告文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)。及諸大眾。十方如(ru)來(lai)。及大菩薩。于其(qi)自住(zhu)三摩(mo)地中。見與見緣。并所想相。如(ru)虛(xu)空(kong)花(hua)。本(ben)無所有(you)。此見及緣。元是(shi)菩提妙凈明體。云何(he)于中有(you)是(shi)非是(shi)。文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)。吾今(jin)問汝。如(ru)汝文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)。更(geng)有(you)文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)。是(shi)文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)者。為(wei)無文(wen)殊(shu)(shu)。
【譯文】如(ru)來告訴文殊(shu)(shu)師利和大眾:諸天十方如(ru)來和大菩薩(sa)們(men),在他(ta)們(men)所住的正等(deng)正覺境(jing)界里,一(yi)切觀見與觀見所緣(yuan)之對象(xiang)以(yi)及(ji)一(yi)切所思所想(xiang),都像那空無之花,是(shi)(shi)本(ben)來就無花的實體。觀見以(yi)及(ji)觀見所緣(yuan)的對象(xiang),本(ben)來就是(shi)(shi)那妙明清凈無上智慧的本(ben)體,還(huan)說什么既(ji)是(shi)(shi)又不是(shi)(shi)呢(ni)?文殊(shu)(shu)啊!我問你(ni),你(ni)是(shi)(shi)文殊(shu)(shu),是(shi)(shi)否還(huan)有(you)另一(yi)個文殊(shu)(shu)?這是(shi)(shi)文殊(shu)(shu)呢(ni),或者不是(shi)(shi)文殊(shu)(shu)?
【原文】如是(shi)。世尊。我真文(wen)(wen)殊(shu)。無是(shi)文(wen)(wen)殊(shu)。何以故(gu)。若有是(shi)者(zhe)。則二(er)文(wen)(wen)殊(shu)。然我今日。非無文(wen)(wen)殊(shu)。于(yu)中(zhong)實無是(shi)非二(er)相。
【譯文】文(wen)殊(shu)說:是這(zhe)樣,世(shi)尊(zun)。我是文(wen)殊(shu),卻不能說是文(wen)殊(shu)。為什么呢?如果因(yin)為我是文(wen)殊(shu),我才是文(wen)殊(shu),那就會有(you)一個非文(wen)殊(shu),我才不是文(wen)殊(shu),如此,就有(you)了(le)二(er)個文(wen)殊(shu),而(er)我現在(zai)自(zi)然就是文(wen)殊(shu),沒(mei)有(you)非文(wen)殊(shu),這(zhe)當(dang)中(zhong)實在(zai)沒(mei)有(you)是和(he)非的區別二(er)相。
【原文】佛言。此見(jian)妙明(ming)。與(yu)諸(zhu)空塵。亦復如(ru)是(shi)(shi)。本是(shi)(shi)妙明(ming)。無(wu)上菩(pu)提凈圓真(zhen)(zhen)心。妄為(wei)色空。及(ji)與(yu)聞見(jian)。如(ru)第(di)二月(yue)。誰(shui)為(wei)是(shi)(shi)月(yue)。又誰(shui)非月(yue)。文殊。但一月(yue)真(zhen)(zhen)。中(zhong)間自無(wu)是(shi)(shi)月(yue)非月(yue)。是(shi)(shi)以汝今(jin)觀見(jian)與(yu)塵。種(zhong)種(zhong)發明(ming)。名為(wei)妄想(xiang)。不(bu)能(neng)于中(zhong)出是(shi)(shi)非是(shi)(shi)。由是(shi)(shi)精(jing)真(zhen)(zhen)妙覺(jue)明(ming)性。故能(neng)令汝出指非指。
【譯文】如(ru)來說(shuo),這(zhe)個無上妙(miao)明的(de)(de)觀(guan)見,與那(nei)些(xie)種種空(kong)幻器物(wu)六塵境(jing)象(xiang)原來也是(shi)(shi)一樣的(de)(de),本(ben)(ben)來都是(shi)(shi)妙(miao)明無上智慧的(de)(de)本(ben)(ben)真(zhen)心(xin)體(ti),一切妄念(nian)生,而成為那(nei)色空(kong)等等境(jing)象(xiang),以及能(neng)見能(neng)聞種種知覺,這(zhe)就像那(nei)二個月亮(liang),哪個是(shi)(shi)月,哪個又是(shi)(shi)非(fei)(fei)月呢?文殊啊!只有(you)一個真(zhen)正的(de)(de)月,這(zhe)中間沒(mei)有(you)什么(me)是(shi)(shi)月和(he)非(fei)(fei)月的(de)(de)問(wen)題。你觀(guan)見的(de)(de)那(nei)些(xie)種種攀(pan)緣于(yu)形質世界的(de)(de)所聞所見的(de)(de)事物(wu),叫做妄想,從(cong)這(zhe)當中不會有(you)既是(shi)(shi)又不是(shi)(shi)的(de)(de)辨證。由于(yu)如(ru)此精明妙(miao)覺的(de)(de)真(zhen)性,你才能(neng)既指(zhi)示對象(xiang)又沒(mei)有(you)指(zhi)示對象(xiang)。
【原文】阿難白佛言。世尊(zun)(zun)。誠如法王所(suo)說。覺(jue)緣(yuan)(yuan)遍十方界。湛(zhan)然常(chang)住。性非(fei)(fei)生(sheng)滅。與先(xian)梵(fan)志。娑毗(pi)迦羅。所(suo)談冥(ming)諦。及投(tou)灰(hui)等(deng)。諸外道種。說有(you)真我。遍滿(man)十方。有(you)何差(cha)別(bie)。世尊(zun)(zun)亦曾于楞伽(jia)山。為大慧(hui)等(deng)。敷演斯義。彼外道等(deng)。常(chang)說自然。我說因緣(yuan)(yuan)。非(fei)(fei)彼境界。我今觀此覺(jue)性自然。非(fei)(fei)生(sheng)非(fei)(fei)滅。遠離一切虛妄(wang)顛倒。似非(fei)(fei)因緣(yuan)(yuan)。與彼自然。云何開示。不(bu)入群(qun)邪。獲真實心(xin)。妙覺(jue)明性。
【譯文】阿難(nan)對如來說(shuo):世尊啊!正如菩(pu)薩所(suo)說(shuo),精明妙(miao)覺(jue)緣(yuan)(yuan)于十方世界而自(zi)在常住,沒(mei)有(you)生也沒(mei)有(you)滅,這(zhe)與(yu)婆羅門外道(dao)修(xiu)行者(zhe)(zhe)娑毗迦(jia)羅所(suo)說(shuo)的(de)昏昧道(dao)理,以及那些種(zhong)種(zhong)苦行修(xiu)者(zhe)(zhe)所(suo)說(shuo)十方世界滿布真(zhen)我的(de)道(dao)理,有(you)什么不同呢(ni)?世尊也曾在楞伽(jia)山為諸菩(pu)薩宣說(shuo)過這(zhe)樣的(de)道(dao)理。那些外道(dao)修(xiu)習者(zhe)(zhe)常常說(shuo)什么事(shi)物自(zi)在自(zi)為,我們卻說(shuo)事(shi)物有(you)因(yin)(yin)緣(yuan)(yuan)而生,不是他們那等說(shuo)法。現在,我看這(zhe)個妙(miao)覺(jue)本(ben)性(xing)就是自(zi)在自(zi)為的(de),其不生不滅,遠離一切(qie)虛妄(wang)顛倒(dao),好像(xiang)并不是有(you)因(yin)(yin)有(you)緣(yuan)(yuan)而生,好像(xiang)也不是自(zi)在自(zi)為的(de)。怎(zen)樣開啟,才(cai)使(shi)我們不致于陷入他們的(de)邪見(jian),而能夠(gou)獲(huo)致本(ben)真(zhen)心性(xing),獲(huo)得(de)妙(miao)明覺(jue)知的(de)本(ben)性(xing)呢(ni)?
【原文】佛(fo)告阿難。我今如是(shi)開示方便。真實告汝。汝猶未悟(wu)。惑(huo)為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)然。阿難。若必自(zi)(zi)然。自(zi)(zi)須甄明有自(zi)(zi)然體。汝且觀此(ci)妙明見中(zhong)。以何為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。此(ci)見為(wei)(wei)復以明為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。以暗為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。以空(kong)為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。以塞為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。阿難。若明為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)。應不見暗。若復以空(kong)為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)體者。應不見塞。如是(shi)乃(nai)至(zhi)諸(zhu)暗等相。以為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)者。則于明時。見性斷滅。云何見明。
【譯文】如來告(gao)訴(su)(su)阿(a)難:我為(wei)你開(kai)啟(qi)了方便法門,把真實告(gao)訴(su)(su)你,你卻仍然沒(mei)有(you)悟解(jie),還(huan)被(bei)什么(me)(me)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)的(de)說法迷惑。阿(a)難,如果(guo)確定有(you)那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei),那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)你應當(dang)辨明(ming)(ming)得到,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)以(yi)什么(me)(me)為(wei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)己(ji)的(de)體性?可是,你看(kan)這(zhe)妙明(ming)(ming)覺(jue)(jue)(jue)見(jian)(jian)(jian)之中(zhong),那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)的(de)東西在(zai)(zai)哪里(li)?這(zhe)個妙明(ming)(ming)覺(jue)(jue)(jue)見(jian)(jian)(jian)是以(yi)明(ming)(ming)亮(liang)為(wei)其自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)?或是以(yi)昏(hun)暗為(wei)其自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)?以(yi)空(kong)無為(wei)其自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)?還(huan)是以(yi)堵(du)塞為(wei)其自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)?阿(a)難啊!如果(guo)以(yi)明(ming)(ming)亮(liang)為(wei)妙明(ming)(ming)覺(jue)(jue)(jue)見(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)本體,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)么(me)(me)就(jiu)應當(dang)看(kan)不到昏(hun)暗,如果(guo)以(yi)空(kong)無為(wei)妙明(ming)(ming)覺(jue)(jue)(jue)見(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)本體,就(jiu)應看(kan)不到堵(du)塞。如果(guo)以(yi)此而將那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)些沒(mei)有(you)被(bei)看(kan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)東西,認為(wei)就(jiu)是妙明(ming)(ming)覺(jue)(jue)(jue)見(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)(zai)本體,那(nei)(nei)(nei)(nei)在(zai)(zai)所見(jian)(jian)(jian)之物(wu)中(zhong),觀見(jian)(jian)(jian)本身也(ye)就(jiu)滅絕不存了,還(huan)說什么(me)(me)觀見(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)精微(wei)圓明(ming)(ming)呢?
【原文】阿難言(yan)。必此妙(miao)見。性非(fei)自然(ran)。我今發(fa)明是因緣性。心猶未明。咨詢(xun)如來(lai)。是義云何。合因緣性。
【譯文】阿難說(shuo)(shuo):這個妙明覺見的本體不是(shi)自在(zai)自為的,現在(zai)我以為,它是(shi)由(you)因緣(yuan)而(er)生而(er)存的,我還沒有弄(nong)明白,請(qing)問如(ru)來,怎樣說(shuo)(shuo)明是(shi)由(you)因緣(yuan)而(er)生的?
【原文】佛言。汝(ru)言因緣(yuan)。吾復問汝(ru)。汝(ru)今同(tong)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)性現前。此(ci)見(jian)(jian)(jian)為復因明(ming)(ming)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。因暗(an)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。因空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。因塞有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。阿(a)(a)難。若(ruo)因明(ming)(ming)有(you)(you)(you)。應(ying)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)暗(an)。如(ru)因暗(an)有(you)(you)(you)。應(ying)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)明(ming)(ming)。如(ru)是(shi)乃(nai)至(zhi)因空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)因塞。同(tong)于明(ming)(ming)暗(an)。復次。阿(a)(a)難。此(ci)見(jian)(jian)(jian)又復緣(yuan)明(ming)(ming)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。緣(yuan)暗(an)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。緣(yuan)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。緣(yuan)塞有(you)(you)(you)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。阿(a)(a)難。若(ruo)緣(yuan)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)有(you)(you)(you)。應(ying)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)塞。若(ruo)緣(yuan)塞有(you)(you)(you)。應(ying)不(bu)(bu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。如(ru)是(shi)乃(nai)至(zhi)緣(yuan)明(ming)(ming)緣(yuan)暗(an)。同(tong)于空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)塞。當知如(ru)是(shi)精覺妙(miao)明(ming)(ming)。非(fei)因非(fei)緣(yuan)。亦非(fei)自(zi)然。非(fei)不(bu)(bu)自(zi)然。無(wu)非(fei)不(bu)(bu)非(fei)。無(wu)是(shi)非(fei)是(shi)。離一(yi)切相(xiang)(xiang)。即一(yi)切法(fa)。汝(ru)今云(yun)何于中措心。以(yi)諸世間戲論名(ming)相(xiang)(xiang)。而得分別。如(ru)以(yi)手掌。撮摩(mo)虛空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。只益(yi)自(zi)勞。虛空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)云(yun)何隨(sui)汝(ru)執捉。

【原文】阿難白(bai)佛言(yan)。世(shi)尊(zun)。必(bi)妙覺性。非因非緣(yuan)。世(shi)尊(zun)。云何常與比丘(qiu)。宣說見(jian)性具(ju)四種緣(yuan)。所謂(wei)。因空因明(ming)。因心因眼。是義云何。
【譯文】阿難對(dui)(dui)如來說(shuo):妙明覺見(jian)既不(bu)是從(cong)因(yin)(yin)(yin)而生(sheng),也不(bu)是由(you)緣而生(sheng),為什么(me)(me)世尊常(chang)(chang)常(chang)(chang)對(dui)(dui)比丘們宣(xuan)說(shuo),這個(ge)覺見(jian)具備了四種(zhong)緣,說(shuo)是因(yin)(yin)(yin)空(kong)、因(yin)(yin)(yin)明、因(yin)(yin)(yin)心(xin)、因(yin)(yin)(yin)眼而生(sheng)?為什么(me)(me)要這樣說(shuo)呢?
【原文】佛言。阿(a)難(nan)。我說世間諸因(yin)緣相。非第一義。阿(a)難(nan)。吾(wu)復問汝。諸世間人(ren)。說我能見(jian)(jian)。云何(he)名(ming)見(jian)(jian)。云何(he)不(bu)見(jian)(jian)。阿(a)難(nan)言。世人(ren)因(yin)于日月燈(deng)光(guang)。見(jian)(jian)種(zhong)種(zhong)相。名(ming)之(zhi)為見(jian)(jian)。若復無此三種(zhong)光(guang)明。則(ze)不(bu)能見(jian)(jian)。
【譯文】如來說(shuo):我所宣說(shuo)的(de)(de)那些,只(zhi)是(shi)世間法(fa)當(dang)中(zhong)的(de)(de)因緣的(de)(de)相(xiang)狀(zhuang),不是(shi)從根(gen)本上來說(shuo)的(de)(de),并不是(shi)佛法(fa)第一義諦。阿(a)難,我再問你,人們(men)說(shuo)我能(neng)夠觀(guan)見,那么,怎樣才是(shi)觀(guan)見?怎樣是(shi)不見?阿(a)難回答:世人因為(wei)有(you)了日、月(yue)、燈(deng)(deng)的(de)(de)光(guang),就(jiu)看(kan)見了日、月(yue)、燈(deng)(deng)光(guang)的(de)(de)相(xiang)狀(zhuang),這就(jiu)是(shi)觀(guan)見,如果沒(mei)有(you)日、月(yue)、燈(deng)(deng)的(de)(de)光(guang),就(jiu)不能(neng)夠看(kan)見。

【原文】爾時。世(shi)(shi)尊憐愍阿(a)(a)難(nan)。及諸大眾(zhong)。將(jiang)欲敷演大陀羅尼。諸三摩(mo)(mo)提。妙(miao)修(xiu)行路。告阿(a)(a)難(nan)言。汝雖強記。但益(yi)多聞。于奢摩(mo)(mo)他。微密觀照。心猶未了(le)。汝今(jin)諦聽。吾(wu)今(jin)為汝分別(bie)開示。亦令(ling)將(jiang)來。諸有漏者(zhe)。獲菩提果。阿(a)(a)難(nan)。一切(qie)眾(zhong)生。輪回世(shi)(shi)間(jian)。由二(er)顛倒分別(bie)見妄(wang)。當處(chu)發生。當業輪轉。云何二(er)見。一者(zhe)。眾(zhong)生別(bie)業妄(wang)見。二(er)者(zhe)。眾(zhong)生同分妄(wang)見。
【譯文】這(zhe)時(shi),如來哀憫阿難和眾(zhong)人(ren),就準備演示無(wu)上神咒,示顯種(zhong)種(zhong)正(zheng)(zheng)等正(zheng)(zheng)定智慧,指示那(nei)無(wu)上修行(xing)的道路。如來告訴阿難:雖(sui)然(ran)你博聞強(qiang)記,但是,這(zhe)只能增廣你的聞見(jian)(jian)(jian),對于(yu)正(zheng)(zheng)等正(zheng)(zheng)覺的禪定以及極微細的種(zhong)種(zhong)密(mi)觀(guan)靜照(zhao)等,你仍然(ran)未能了悟(wu)。你仔(zi)細聽罷,現在我來為(wei)你演示,同時(shi)也(ye)讓(rang)那(nei)些諸多煩(fan)惱而不能拔脫的人(ren)們獲致那(nei)無(wu)上果位(wei)。阿難,一切眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)都在生(sheng)(sheng)死煩(fan)惱輪(lun)回(hui)流(liu)轉,皆由二(er)種(zhong)顛倒分(fen)別的妄(wang)見(jian)(jian)(jian),時(shi)時(shi)處處生(sheng)(sheng)出(chu),隨身隨心流(liu)轉于(yu)輪(lun)回(hui)之中所致。而二(er)種(zhong)妄(wang)見(jian)(jian)(jian)是什么?其一是眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)的別業妄(wang)見(jian)(jian)(jian),其二(er)是眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)的同分(fen)妄(wang)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。
【原文】云(yun)何名(ming)為(wei)(wei)別(bie)業妄見。阿難。如世間人(ren)。目有(you)赤眚。夜(ye)見燈(deng)(deng)光(guang)。別(bie)有(you)圓(yuan)影(ying)。五色(se)(se)重疊(die)。于(yu)意云(yun)何。此夜(ye)燈(deng)(deng)明所(suo)現圓(yuan)光(guang)。為(wei)(wei)是燈(deng)(deng)色(se)(se)。為(wei)(wei)當(dang)見色(se)(se)。阿難。此若燈(deng)(deng)色(se)(se)。則非眚人(ren)何不同見。而(er)此圓(yuan)影(ying)。惟眚之(zhi)觀(guan)(guan)。若是見色(se)(se)。見已成(cheng)(cheng)色(se)(se)。則彼(bi)眚人(ren)見圓(yuan)影(ying)者。名(ming)為(wei)(wei)何等。復(fu)次。阿難。若此圓(yuan)影(ying)離燈(deng)(deng)別(bie)有(you)。則合傍觀(guan)(guan)屏帳幾(ji)筵。有(you)圓(yuan)影(ying)出。離見別(bie)有(you)。應(ying)非眼矚(zhu)。云(yun)何眚人(ren)目見圓(yuan)影(ying)。是故。當(dang)知色(se)(se)實(shi)在燈(deng)(deng)。見病為(wei)(wei)影(ying)。影(ying)見俱(ju)眚。見眚非病。終(zhong)不應(ying)言是燈(deng)(deng)是見。于(yu)是中(zhong)有(you)非燈(deng)(deng)非見。如第(di)二月。非體非影(ying)。何以故。第(di)二之(zhi)觀(guan)(guan)。捏所(suo)成(cheng)(cheng)故。諸有(you)智者。不應(ying)說言。此捏根(gen)元。是形(xing)非形(xing)。離見非見。此亦如是。目眚所(suo)成(cheng)(cheng)。今欲名(ming)誰是燈(deng)(deng)是見。何況分別(bie)非燈(deng)(deng)非見。

deng)(deng)(deng)和非見(jian)(jian)(jian)有(you)(you)(you)什(shen)(shen)么(me)(me)(me)不(bu)同呢(ni)(ni)?
【原文】云何名為同(tong)(tong)分(fen)妄見(jian)。阿難。此(ci)閻浮提。除大(da)海水。中(zhong)(zhong)間平陸。有三千洲(zhou)。正中(zhong)(zhong)大(da)洲(zhou)。東(dong)西括量。大(da)國(guo)凡有二(er)千三百(bai)。其(qi)余小洲(zhou)在諸(zhu)海中(zhong)(zhong)。其(qi)間或有三兩百(bai)國(guo)。或一(yi)或二(er)。至于三十(shi)四十(shi)五十(shi)。阿難。若復(fu)此(ci)中(zhong)(zhong)。有一(yi)小洲(zhou)。只(zhi)有兩國(guo)。惟一(yi)國(guo)人。同(tong)(tong)感惡(e)緣(yuan)。則(ze)彼(bi)小洲(zhou)。當土眾(zhong)生。睹(du)諸(zhu)一(yi)切不(bu)(bu)祥境(jing)界。或見(jian)二(er)日。或見(jian)兩月。其(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)乃至暈(yun)蝕佩玦。彗(hui)孛飛流。負耳虹(hong)霓。種(zhong)種(zhong)惡(e)相。但此(ci)國(guo)見(jian)。彼(bi)國(guo)眾(zhong)生。本所不(bu)(bu)見(jian)。亦復(fu)不(bu)(bu)聞(wen)。
【譯文】什么(me)叫(jiao)做同分妄見(jian)(jian)?阿(a)難,我們居(ju)住的閻浮提洲(zhou)(zhou),除了大海水之外,陸(lu)地上有(you)三(san)千之數的小(xiao)洲(zhou)(zhou),正中(zhong)間有(you)一(yi)大洲(zhou)(zhou),其(qi)地域(yu)中(zhong)有(you)二(er)千三(san)百(bai)個(ge)(ge)大國(guo),其(qi)它的小(xiao)洲(zhou)(zhou)散布在(zai)各個(ge)(ge)海域(yu),它們當(dang)中(zhong)有(you)的有(you)二(er)、三(san)百(bai)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia),有(you)的只(zhi)有(you)一(yi)、二(er)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)或(huo)(huo)者四、五十個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)。阿(a)難,如果這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)當(dang)中(zhong)有(you)一(yi)個(ge)(ge)小(xiao)洲(zhou)(zhou),其(qi)域(yu)只(zhi)有(you)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)。其(qi)中(zhong)一(yi)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)的人民,共同感受(shou)到(dao)惡緣(yuan),那么(me)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)個(ge)(ge)小(xiao)洲(zhou)(zhou)所(suo)(suo)有(you)眾生,都(dou)會看(kan)(kan)到(dao)一(yi)切(qie)不祥的景像,也許(xu)看(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)(ge)太陽,或(huo)(huo)者看(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)(ge)月亮(liang),甚(shen)至看(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)日(ri)食月暈(yun),或(huo)(huo)者是(shi)慧星飛逝,或(huo)(huo)許(xu)是(shi)彩(cai)虹當(dang)空這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)些種種惡相。但是(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)一(yi)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)人民所(suo)(suo)看(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)的,本(ben)來(lai)是(shi)另一(yi)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家(jia)(jia)人民沒有(you)看(kan)(kan)見(jian)(jian)的,和沒有(you)聽見(jian)(jian)的。

見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)燈光圓(yuan)影(ying)(ying),是(shi)由于翳(yi)(yi)膜(mo)阻(zu)滯(zhi)所(suo)致,那(nei)(nei)些人(ren)(ren)民(min)同時所(suo)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)不(bu)祥景像(xiang),則(ze)是(shi)群體的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宿業惡瘴(zhang)所(suo)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),是(shi)久遠即有的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)缺陷(xian)所(suo)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu)來(lai)(lai)。閻浮(fu)提洲的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)三千洲土,以(yi)及(ji)(ji)四大海,娑(suo)婆世(shi)(shi)界,十(shi)方世(shi)(shi)間(jian)世(shi)(shi)界和(he)所(suo)有眾生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),本(ben)(ben)來(lai)(lai)都具備妙(miao)明(ming)覺(jue)(jue)知(zhi)無煩惱心,只(zhi)因(yin)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)聞(wen)、認知(zhi)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu)虛妄(wang),就(jiu)(jiu)在這(zhe)(zhe)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)聞(wen)認知(zhi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)顛倒景像(xiang)中妄(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)妄(wang)死,如(ru)果(guo)(guo)能夠(gou)遠離這(zhe)(zhe)些見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)聞(wen)攀緣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)景像(xiang),以(yi)及(ji)(ji)妄(wang)念生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)發的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)景像(xiang),則(ze)能夠(gou)滅盡種種生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死本(ben)(ben)因(yin),圓(yuan)滿成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)滅的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)智慧真(zhen)(zhen)(zhen)性,成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)就(jiu)(jiu)妙(miao)明(ming)本(ben)(ben)心,從而(er)(er)能令本(ben)(ben)真(zhen)(zhen)(zhen)妙(miao)覺(jue)(jue)常住不(bu)損。
【原文】阿難。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)雖先悟(wu)本(ben)覺妙(miao)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。性非(fei)因緣(yuan)。非(fei)自然性。而猶(you)未明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)如是覺元。非(fei)和合(he)(he)生。及(ji)不和合(he)(he)。阿難。吾今(jin)(jin)(jin)復以(yi)前(qian)塵問汝(ru)(ru)(ru)。汝(ru)(ru)(ru)今(jin)(jin)(jin)猶(you)以(yi)。一切世間(jian)。妄(wang)想和合(he)(he)。諸(zhu)因緣(yuan)性。而自疑惑(huo)。證菩提心和合(he)(he)起者(zhe)(zhe)。則汝(ru)(ru)(ru)今(jin)(jin)(jin)者(zhe)(zhe)妙(miao)凈見(jian)(jian)(jian)精(jing)。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)和。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)和。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)通和。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)塞(sai)和。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)和者(zhe)(zhe)。且(qie)汝(ru)(ru)(ru)觀明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。當(dang)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)現前(qian)。何(he)(he)處(chu)(chu)雜見(jian)(jian)(jian)。見(jian)(jian)(jian)相可(ke)辨(bian)。雜何(he)(he)形像。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)非(fei)見(jian)(jian)(jian)者(zhe)(zhe)。云(yun)何(he)(he)見(jian)(jian)(jian)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)即(ji)見(jian)(jian)(jian)者(zhe)(zhe)。云(yun)何(he)(he)見(jian)(jian)(jian)見(jian)(jian)(jian)。必(bi)見(jian)(jian)(jian)圓滿。何(he)(he)處(chu)(chu)和明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)圓滿。不合(he)(he)見(jian)(jian)(jian)和。見(jian)(jian)(jian)必(bi)異明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。雜則失彼(bi)性明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)名字。雜失明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)性。和明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)非(fei)義。彼(bi)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)與(yu)(yu)通。及(ji)諸(zhu)群塞(sai)。亦復如是。復次。阿難。又汝(ru)(ru)(ru)今(jin)(jin)(jin)者(zhe)(zhe)妙(miao)凈見(jian)(jian)(jian)精(jing)。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)合(he)(he)。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)合(he)(he)。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)通合(he)(he)。為(wei)與(yu)(yu)塞(sai)合(he)(he)。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)合(he)(he)者(zhe)(zhe)。至于暗(an)(an)(an)(an)時。明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)相已滅。此見(jian)(jian)(jian)即(ji)不與(yu)(yu)諸(zhu)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)合(he)(he)。云(yun)何(he)(he)見(jian)(jian)(jian)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)。若(ruo)(ruo)(ruo)見(jian)(jian)(jian)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)時。不與(yu)(yu)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)合(he)(he)。與(yu)(yu)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)合(he)(he)者(zhe)(zhe)。應非(fei)見(jian)(jian)(jian)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。既不見(jian)(jian)(jian)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)。云(yun)何(he)(he)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)合(he)(he)。了(le)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)非(fei)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)。彼(bi)暗(an)(an)(an)(an)與(yu)(yu)通。及(ji)諸(zhu)群塞(sai)。亦復如是。

【原文】阿(a)難白佛(fo)言。世尊(zun)。如我思惟。此妙覺元。與(yu)諸緣塵(chen)。及(ji)心念慮。非和合(he)耶。

【原文】阿難。汝(ru)猶未明一切浮塵(chen)。諸幻化(hua)相(xiang)。當處出生。隨處滅盡。幻妄稱相(xiang)。其性真(zhen)為妙覺明體(ti)。如(ru)是乃至五陰六入(ru)。從十(shi)二處。至十(shi)八(ba)界。因緣和合(he)。虛妄有生。因緣別離。虛妄名(ming)滅。殊不能知。生滅去來(lai)。本如(ru)來(lai)藏(zang)。常住妙明。不動周圓。妙真(zhen)如(ru)性。性真(zhen)常中(zhong)。求(qiu)于去來(lai)。迷悟死(si)生。了無(wu)所得。
【譯文】阿難(nan)啊!你仍然沒有(you)明(ming)悟到,世(shi)間一切(qie)浮(fu)物,一切(qie)幻化(hua)物象(xiang),它們(men)在(zai)哪里出現,隨即就在(zai)哪里滅(mie)(mie)盡。幻象(xiang)妄念只(zhi)是外相,它們(men)的(de)(de)本(ben)性(xing)(xing)原來都(dou)(dou)是妙覺清(qing)凈本(ben)體。像五蘊、六入、十二處(chu)、十八(ba)界,所(suo)有(you)的(de)(de)因緣和合(he),虛妄事(shi)物,因緣離合(he),虛妄滅(mie)(mie)絕等等,都(dou)(dou)不(bu)知一切(qie)的(de)(de)生(sheng)起滅(mie)(mie)去(qu)(qu),原來都(dou)(dou)是如來藏,都(dou)(dou)是常(chang)住圓明(ming)妙覺之中,都(dou)(dou)是如來真如自性(xing)(xing)。要在(zai)這(zhe)如來真性(xing)(xing)常(chang)住不(bu)動(dong)之中,尋求生(sheng)死(si)、去(qu)(qu)來、迷(mi)悟、生(sheng)滅(mie)(mie)等等,是永遠(yuan)不(bu)可(ke)能得到的(de)(de)。
【原文】阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)。云(yun)(yun)何五陰(yin)。本如來(lai)藏(zang)。妙真如性(xing)。阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)。譬如有(you)人。以清凈目(mu)(mu)(mu)。觀晴明空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。惟一精虛。迥無(wu)所(suo)有(you)。其人無(wu)故(gu)。不(bu)動目(mu)(mu)(mu)睛。瞪(deng)以發勞。則于虛空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。別(bie)見(jian)(jian)狂(kuang)花(hua)(hua)。復有(you)一切狂(kuang)亂非(fei)(fei)(fei)相。色陰(yin)當(dang)知。亦(yi)復如是(shi)。阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)。是(shi)諸狂(kuang)花(hua)(hua)。非(fei)(fei)(fei)從(cong)(cong)(cong)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)來(lai)。非(fei)(fei)(fei)從(cong)(cong)(cong)目(mu)(mu)(mu)出(chu)。如是(shi)。阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)。若空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)來(lai)者。既(ji)從(cong)(cong)(cong)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)來(lai)。還從(cong)(cong)(cong)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)入。若有(you)出(chu)入。即(ji)(ji)非(fei)(fei)(fei)虛空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)若非(fei)(fei)(fei)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。自不(bu)容其花(hua)(hua)相起滅(mie)。如阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)體。不(bu)容阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan)(nan)。若目(mu)(mu)(mu)出(chu)者。既(ji)從(cong)(cong)(cong)目(mu)(mu)(mu)出(chu)。還從(cong)(cong)(cong)目(mu)(mu)(mu)入。即(ji)(ji)此(ci)花(hua)(hua)性(xing)從(cong)(cong)(cong)目(mu)(mu)(mu)出(chu)故(gu)。當(dang)合有(you)見(jian)(jian)。若有(you)見(jian)(jian)者。去既(ji)花(hua)(hua)空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。旋合見(jian)(jian)眼。若無(wu)見(jian)(jian)者。出(chu)既(ji)翳空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。旋當(dang)翳眼。又見(jian)(jian)花(hua)(hua)時(shi)。目(mu)(mu)(mu)應(ying)無(wu)翳。云(yun)(yun)何晴空(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)(kong)。號清明眼。是(shi)故(gu)。當(dang)知色陰(yin)虛妄(wang)。本非(fei)(fei)(fei)因(yin)緣。非(fei)(fei)(fei)自然性(xing)。
【譯文】阿(a)難(nan),為什么(me)說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)五蘊(yun)原來都是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)如來自性妙明(ming)(ming)真如呢?阿(a)難(nan)啊!譬如有(you)(you)人(ren)用澄(cheng)明(ming)(ming)之眼觀看晴明(ming)(ming)的(de)天(tian)空(kong)(kong)(kong),只看到那(nei)(nei)晴空(kong)(kong)(kong)虛(xu)(xu)廓,并沒有(you)(you)其(qi)他任何東(dong)西,這(zhe)(zhe)時(shi)(shi)那(nei)(nei)人(ren)不(bu)(bu)會(hui)徒然去(qu)轉動眼睛(jing)。等到瞪視已久,眼有(you)(you)煩勞(lao)時(shi)(shi),眼才有(you)(you)所動作,于是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)就(jiu)(jiu)會(hui)在(zai)虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong)(kong)之中(zhong)(zhong)看到搖動的(de)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua),隨即就(jiu)(jiu)會(hui)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu)種種搖蕩(dang)狂(kuang)亂(luan)的(de)妄(wang)(wang)相。色蘊(yun)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)(zhe)樣(yang)產(chan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)。阿(a)難(nan),這(zhe)(zhe)種種搖蕩(dang)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua),既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)(cong)虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong)(kong)之中(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu),也(ye)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)(cong)眼睛(jing)產(chan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu)來的(de)。阿(a)難(nan),如果(guo)(guo)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)(cong)虛(xu)(xu)廓的(de)空(kong)(kong)(kong)中(zhong)(zhong)產(chan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),就(jiu)(jiu)應(ying)當(dang)既(ji)能(neng)出(chu)來,又能(neng)進去(qu),但(dan)(dan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),有(you)(you)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)的(de)出(chu)來進去(qu),天(tian)空(kong)(kong)(kong)就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)會(hui)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)虛(xu)(xu)廓的(de),如果(guo)(guo)天(tian)空(kong)(kong)(kong)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong)(kong),自然也(ye)就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)會(hui)有(you)(you)虛(xu)(xu)妄(wang)(wang)的(de)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)在(zai)那(nei)(nei)里生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)起(qi)滅(mie)去(qu),這(zhe)(zhe)就(jiu)(jiu)好比已有(you)(you)的(de)阿(a)難(nan)軀體不(bu)(bu)會(hui)再容載另一個阿(a)難(nan)一樣(yang)。如果(guo)(guo)這(zhe)(zhe)些光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)從(cong)(cong)(cong)眼睛(jing)產(chan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)出(chu)來,就(jiu)(jiu)應(ying)當(dang)既(ji)能(neng)出(chu)來,又能(neng)進去(qu)。由于光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)從(cong)(cong)(cong)眼睛(jing)里產(chan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),就(jiu)(jiu)應(ying)當(dang)能(neng)夠被看見(jian)。如果(guo)(guo)有(you)(you)能(neng)看見(jian)的(de)東(dong)西,這(zhe)(zhe)東(dong)西被除去(qu)時(shi)(shi),那(nei)(nei)光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)就(jiu)(jiu)應(ying)當(dang)不(bu)(bu)在(zai),隨即就(jiu)(jiu)只看得到眼睛(jing)。如果(guo)(guo)眼睛(jing)沒有(you)(you)可以看到的(de)東(dong)西,那(nei)(nei)這(zhe)(zhe)眼睛(jing)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)長(chang)翳(yi)膜,但(dan)(dan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),當(dang)眼睛(jing)又看到光(guang)(guang)華(hua)(hua)時(shi)(shi),說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)明(ming)(ming)這(zhe)(zhe)眼睛(jing)應(ying)當(dang)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)沒有(you)(you)長(chang)有(you)(you)翳(yi)膜的(de)。如此說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)來,還說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)什么(me)晴明(ming)(ming)虛(xu)(xu)廓的(de)天(tian)空(kong)(kong)(kong),說(shuo)(shuo)(shuo)什么(me)清明(ming)(ming)無礙的(de)眼睛(jing)呢?所以,色蘊(yun)只是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)虛(xu)(xu)妄(wang)(wang),既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)因緣(yuan)和(he)合(he)而生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),也(ye)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)自在(zai)自為。
【原文】阿(a)難。譬如有人(ren)。手足宴(yan)安(an)。百骸調適。忽如忘生(sheng)。性(xing)無違順。其人(ren)無故(gu)(gu)。以二手掌。于空相(xiang)摩。于二手中。妄生(sheng)澀滑冷熱(re)諸(zhu)相(xiang)。受陰當知(zhi)(zhi)。亦(yi)復如是。阿(a)難。是諸(zhu)幻(huan)觸。不從空來。不從掌出(chu)。如是。阿(a)難。若空來者。既能觸掌。何不觸身(shen)。不應(ying)虛空。選(xuan)擇來觸。若從掌出(chu)。應(ying)非(fei)待合(he)(he)。又掌出(chu)故(gu)(gu)。合(he)(he)則(ze)掌知(zhi)(zhi)。離即觸入(ru)。臂腕骨髓。應(ying)亦(yi)覺知(zhi)(zhi)入(ru)時蹤(zong)跡。必有覺心。知(zhi)(zhi)出(chu)知(zhi)(zhi)入(ru)。自(zi)有一物(wu)。身(shen)中往(wang)來。何待合(he)(he)知(zhi)(zhi)。要(yao)名為觸。是故(gu)(gu)。當知(zhi)(zhi)受陰虛妄。本(ben)非(fei)因緣。非(fei)自(zi)然(ran)性(xing)。
【譯文】阿難,譬如(ru)有個(ge)人,其手(shou)足安好,身(shen)體(ti)調(diao)適(shi),一副安樂(le)長生(sheng)的(de)樣子,沒(mei)有不(bu)(bu)順適(shi)的(de)地方,這個(ge)人無因(yin)無由用兩只(zhi)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)相互摩(mo)(mo)擦,兩只(zhi)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)無端就生(sheng)出澀、滑、冷、熱等(deng)(deng)(deng)感(gan)受(shou)(shou)(shou)。受(shou)(shou)(shou)蘊也是(shi)(shi)這樣。阿難啊!這種(zhong)種(zhong)虛妄觸(chu)(chu)(chu)受(shou)(shou)(shou),既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)從(cong)空無中(zhong)(zhong)產(chan)生(sheng),也不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)從(cong)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)中(zhong)(zhong)產(chan)生(sheng)。阿難,如(ru)果(guo)是(shi)(shi)從(cong)空無中(zhong)(zhong)產(chan)生(sheng),既(ji)然(ran)它(ta)(ta)能觸(chu)(chu)(chu)摸到(dao)(dao)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang),為(wei)(wei)(wei)什么就不(bu)(bu)能觸(chu)(chu)(chu)摸到(dao)(dao)身(shen)體(ti),虛空之觸(chu)(chu)(chu)并不(bu)(bu)會去選擇其所要(yao)觸(chu)(chu)(chu)摸的(de)地方。如(ru)果(guo)是(shi)(shi)從(cong)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)中(zhong)(zhong)產(chan)生(sheng),用不(bu)(bu)著兩只(zhi)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)的(de)摩(mo)(mo)擦,自然(ran)就在(zai)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)上。如(ru)果(guo)仍然(ran)是(shi)(shi)從(cong)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)上產(chan)生(sheng),那么,當(dang)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)去觸(chu)(chu)(chu)摸到(dao)(dao)它(ta)(ta)時(shi)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)就能感(gan)受(shou)(shou)(shou)到(dao)(dao)它(ta)(ta),手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)離開后,它(ta)(ta)就應當(dang)重歸于手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang),那么,它(ta)(ta)應當(dang)也能進入(ru)種(zhong)種(zhong)能夠(gou)觸(chu)(chu)(chu)受(shou)(shou)(shou)的(de)地方,譬如(ru)像(xiang)手(shou)腕、手(shou)臂、骨(gu)骼(ge)、神經(jing)等(deng)(deng)(deng)地方,都應當(dang)能夠(gou)感(gan)受(shou)(shou)(shou)到(dao)(dao)它(ta)(ta)產(chan)生(sheng)的(de)痕(hen)跡。如(ru)果(guo)這當(dang)中(zhong)(zhong)一定有能覺知(zhi)的(de)心(xin),覺知(zhi)到(dao)(dao)觸(chu)(chu)(chu)受(shou)(shou)(shou)的(de)產(chan)生(sheng)和(he)進入(ru),那就應當(dang)有一個(ge)東西在(zai)身(shen)體(ti)中(zhong)(zhong)往來(lai),為(wei)(wei)(wei)什么非要(yao)等(deng)(deng)(deng)到(dao)(dao)手(shou)掌(zhang)(zhang)(zhang)的(de)應合(he)觸(chu)(chu)(chu)摸才(cai)有觸(chu)(chu)(chu)受(shou)(shou)(shou)呢?所以,應當(dang)知(zhi)道,受(shou)(shou)(shou)蘊亦是(shi)(shi)虛妄,既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)因(yin)緣和(he)合(he)而生(sheng),也不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)自在(zai)自為(wei)(wei)(wei)。

【譯文】阿(a)(a)難(nan),譬如有(you)人說(shuo)(shuo)到(dao)梅(mei)(mei)子時,口(kou)中(zhong)就(jiu)會(hui)(hui)淌出(chu)(chu)口(kou)水(shui)(shui),有(you)人想(xiang)到(dao)站(zhan)在(zai)(zai)懸崖(ya)邊上,腳底就(jiu)會(hui)(hui)抽(chou)蓄緊張,想(xiang)蘊也是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這種情(qing)形(xing)。阿(a)(a)難(nan),說(shuo)(shuo)梅(mei)(mei)子時口(kou)中(zhong)生(sheng)出(chu)(chu)酸(suan)(suan)味,既不是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)梅(mei)(mei)子這里生(sheng)出(chu)(chu)來(lai),也不是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)口(kou)里生(sheng)出(chu)(chu)來(lai)。阿(a)(a)難(nan),如果(guo)講梅(mei)(mei)子生(sheng)出(chu)(chu)酸(suan)(suan)味是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)梅(mei)(mei)子里生(sheng)出(chu)(chu),那(nei)么(me),這個梅(mei)(mei)子自己(ji)就(jiu)會(hui)(hui)去說(shuo)(shuo),何(he)(he)須要人去說(shuo)(shuo)?如果(guo)酸(suan)(suan)味從(cong)口(kou)里生(sheng)出(chu)(chu)來(lai),口(kou)自己(ji)應(ying)當嘗得(de)到(dao),何(he)(he)必(bi)要用耳朵(duo)去聽(ting)?如果(guo)只是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)耳朵(duo)聽(ting)到(dao)的(de),那(nei)口(kou)水(shui)(shui)為(wei)什么(me)不從(cong)耳朵(duo)里淌出(chu)(chu)來(lai)呢?心里想(xiang)像站(zhan)在(zai)(zai)懸崖(ya)邊上的(de)情(qing)形(xing),與(yu)口(kou)說(shuo)(shuo)梅(mei)(mei)子時的(de)情(qing)形(xing),其道理(li)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)樣的(de)。所以,應(ying)當知道,想(xiang)蘊也是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)虛妄,既不是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)因緣和合(he)而生(sheng),也不是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)自在(zai)(zai)自為(wei)。

【譯文】阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan),譬(pi)如(ru)(ru)激流(liu)(liu)(liu)波(bo)浪前(qian)沖后涌,前(qian)浪后浪相繼相續,不(bu)(bu)相逾越,行(xing)蘊(yun)也(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)這(zhe)樣(yang)的(de)情(qing)形。阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan),水流(liu)(liu)(liu)的(de)狀態,既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)空(kong)無中產生(sheng),也(ye)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)水自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)里產生(sheng),它(ta)既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)水的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)本性,也(ye)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)能(neng)夠離開空(kong)無和水自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)的(de)。那么(me)(me),阿(a)(a)難(nan)(nan),如(ru)(ru)果它(ta)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)空(kong)無中產生(sheng),十(shi)方世界無涯無際(ji)的(de)虛空(kong)里,就(jiu)(jiu)會涌流(liu)(liu)(liu)著漫無涯際(ji)的(de)水流(liu)(liu)(liu),十(shi)方世界自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)就(jiu)(jiu)會被淹沒(mei)。如(ru)(ru)果它(ta)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)從(cong)(cong)水自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)里產生(sheng)出(chu)來,那這(zhe)些激流(liu)(liu)(liu)的(de)本性就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)會是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)水,而(er)(er)有(you)(you)它(ta)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)己的(de)相狀,現(xian)在(zai)就(jiu)(jiu)應該能(neng)夠現(xian)示出(chu)來。如(ru)(ru)果它(ta)就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)水的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)本性,那么(me)(me),當(dang)水平靜澄清時(shi),這(zhe)水就(jiu)(jiu)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)水的(de)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)。如(ru)(ru)果它(ta)又是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)離開空(kong)無和水自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)而(er)(er)存在(zai)的(de),那么(me)(me),空(kong)無自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)之(zhi)外并不(bu)(bu)另(ling)有(you)(you)東西,水自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)之(zhi)外也(ye)沒(mei)有(you)(you)流(liu)(liu)(liu)水,除(chu)此而(er)(er)外還有(you)(you)什么(me)(me)激流(liu)(liu)(liu)呢?所以,應當(dang)知道,行(xing)蘊(yun)亦是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)虛妄,既(ji)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)因緣和合而(er)(er)生(sheng),也(ye)不(bu)(bu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)。
【原文】阿難。譬(pi)如有人取頻伽(jia)瓶(ping)(ping)。塞(sai)其兩孔。滿中擎空(kong)。千里(li)遠行(xing)。用餉(xiang)他國。識陰當知。亦復(fu)如是(shi)(shi)。阿難。如是(shi)(shi)虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)。非彼方來。非此(ci)方入。如是(shi)(shi)。阿難。若(ruo)(ruo)彼方來。則本瓶(ping)(ping)中既貯空(kong)去。于本瓶(ping)(ping)地。應少(shao)虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)。若(ruo)(ruo)此(ci)方入。開孔倒瓶(ping)(ping)。應見空(kong)出。是(shi)(shi)故。當知識陰虛(xu)(xu)妄。本非因緣。非自然性。
【譯文】阿難,譬(pi)如有人拿(na)頻伽(jia)瓶(ping),將(jiang)瓶(ping)子的(de)(de)兩個(ge)(ge)孔塞住,瓶(ping)中(zhong)蓄(xu)滿了虛(xu)(xu)空,然后擎瓶(ping)到千里之外,去(qu)贈予另一(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)國(guo)家。識蘊的(de)(de)情形也(ye)是這(zhe)樣。阿難,瓶(ping)子里的(de)(de)虛(xu)(xu)空既不(bu)是從(cong)另一(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)地(di)(di)方(fang)(fang)帶(dai)來(lai)(lai),也(ye)不(bu)是從(cong)這(zhe)個(ge)(ge)地(di)(di)方(fang)(fang)盛進(jin)去(qu)。阿難,如果它是從(cong)另一(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)地(di)(di)方(fang)(fang)帶(dai)來(lai)(lai)的(de)(de),那么,瓶(ping)子本(ben)來(lai)(lai)就蓄(xu)滿了虛(xu)(xu)空去(qu)另一(yi)(yi)個(ge)(ge)地(di)(di)方(fang)(fang)的(de)(de),瓶(ping)子原(yuan)來(lai)(lai)所(suo)(suo)在的(de)(de)這(zhe)個(ge)(ge)地(di)(di)方(fang)(fang)就應當少(shao)了一(yi)(yi)些虛(xu)(xu)空才對。如果它是從(cong)瓶(ping)子原(yuan)地(di)(di)盛進(jin)去(qu)的(de)(de),那么,打(da)開瓶(ping)子,就應當能夠倒出(chu)虛(xu)(xu)空來(lai)(lai)。所(suo)(suo)以,應當知(zhi)道,識蘊也(ye)是虛(xu)(xu)妄,既不(bu)是因緣(yuan)和合而生(sheng),也(ye)不(bu)是自在自為。
