慢(man)行交(jiao)通(tong)是(shi)相對(dui)于快速(su)機(ji)動(dong)(dong)化交(jiao)通(tong)方式而言的,也(ye)(ye)稱為非機(ji)動(dong)(dong)交(jiao)通(tong),它既包(bao)(bao)括人力車(che)(che)、自行車(che)(che)等(deng)非機(ji)動(dong)(dong)交(jiao)通(tong)工具(ju),也(ye)(ye)包(bao)(bao)括電動(dong)(dong)自行車(che)(che)這類雖有動(dong)(dong)力裝(zhuang)置驅動(dong)(dong),但(dan)設計(ji)最(zui)高時(shi)速(su)、空(kong)車(che)(che)質量、外形(xing)尺寸符合有關國家標準的慢(man)速(su)交(jiao)通(tong)工具(ju)。
近年(nian)來,全(quan)國(guo)各大城(cheng)市(shi)(shi)紛紛加快建設慢行(xing)交(jiao)通系統(tong)。“十四五”期間,北(bei)京將五環以(yi)(yi)內路(lu)面(mian)寬度12米及以(yi)(yi)上(shang)道(dao)路(lu)全(quan)部(bu)(bu)施(shi)劃自行(xing)車(che)道(dao),打造長(chang)約400公里(li)(li)的慢行(xing)系統(tong),中心(xin)城(cheng)區(qu)慢行(xing)交(jiao)通出行(xing)比(bi)例(li)達47.8%;深圳計劃每(mei)年(nian)建成(cheng)不少于300公里(li)(li)的非機動(dong)車(che)道(dao),慢行(xing)交(jiao)通比(bi)例(li)也由2016年(nian)的58%提升至62%;重慶提出“山城(cheng)步道(dao)總里(li)(li)程2200公里(li)(li)、自行(xing)車(che)道(dao)450公里(li)(li)”的目標……除(chu)上(shang)述典型城(cheng)市(shi)(shi)以(yi)(yi)外,部(bu)(bu)分中小城(cheng)市(shi)(shi)慢行(xing)交(jiao)通比(bi)例(li)高(gao)達70%以(yi)(yi)上(shang)。
