無量壽經介紹 佛說無量壽經原文及譯文(四)

摘要:《無量壽經》全稱《佛說無量壽經》,亦稱《大阿彌陀經》(參閱漢譯版本),是凈土宗的基本經典之一,為“凈土五經一論”中的一經,凈土宗的大部分修行方法均可在該經中找到理論依據。經中介紹阿彌陀佛(無量壽佛)所發諸大愿(依版本不同而數量不一,最多為四十八愿),建立彌陀凈土接引十方世界眾生,以及彌陀凈土的大概樣貌,下面請看無量壽經第三十一至四十的原文及譯文。

【原文】其(qi)智宏深(shen),譬如(ru)(ru)巨海;菩(pu)提高廣,喻若須彌;自身(shen)威光,超于日月;其(qi)心(xin)潔白,猶(you)如(ru)(ru)雪山(shan);忍辱如(ru)(ru)地,一切平等(deng);清凈如(ru)(ru)水,洗諸(zhu)(zhu)塵垢(gou);熾盛如(ru)(ru)火,燒煩惱薪;不(bu)(bu)著如(ru)(ru)風,無諸(zhu)(zhu)障礙。法音(yin)雷震(zhen),覺未(wei)覺故;雨甘露(lu)法,潤眾生(sheng)(sheng)故;曠若虛空,大慈等(deng)故;如(ru)(ru)凈蓮華,離染(ran)污故;如(ru)(ru)尼(ni)拘樹,覆蔭大故;如(ru)(ru)金剛杵,破邪(xie)執故;如(ru)(ru)鐵(tie)圍山(shan),眾魔(mo)外道不(bu)(bu)能(neng)動故。其(qi)心(xin)正直,善巧決定;論法無厭,求法不(bu)(bu)倦;戒若琉(liu)璃(li),內(nei)外明(ming)(ming)潔;其(qi)所(suo)(suo)言說(shuo),令眾悅服(fu)。擊法鼓,建法幢,曜慧日,破癡暗。淳凈溫和,寂定明(ming)(ming)察。為大導師,調(diao)伏自他。引(yin)導群生(sheng)(sheng),舍(she)諸(zhu)(zhu)愛著。永離三垢(gou),游戲神通。因緣愿力,出生(sheng)(sheng)善根。摧伏一切魔(mo)軍,尊重奉(feng)事諸(zhu)(zhu)佛。為世明(ming)(ming)燈,最勝(sheng)福(fu)田,殊(shu)勝(sheng)吉祥(xiang),堪受供養。赫奕歡喜,雄(xiong)猛無畏。身(shen)色相好,功德(de)辯才(cai),具(ju)足莊嚴(yan),無與等(deng)者。常為諸(zhu)(zhu)佛所(suo)(suo)共稱贊。究竟菩(pu)薩(sa)諸(zhu)(zhu)波羅蜜,而(er)常安住不(bu)(bu)生(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)(bu)滅諸(zhu)(zhu)三摩地。行遍道場,遠二乘(cheng)境。阿難,我今略(lve)說(shuo)彼(bi)極樂(le)界,所(suo)(suo)生(sheng)(sheng)菩(pu)薩(sa),真(zhen)實功德(de),悉(xi)皆如(ru)(ru)是(shi)。若廣說(shuo)者,百千萬劫不(bu)(bu)能(neng)窮盡。

【譯文】極樂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)智慧(hui)宏大(da)深(shen)廣(guang),猶(you)(you)如(ru)大(da)海;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)菩(pu)(pu)提覺(jue)悟(wu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高廣(guang)宏大(da),有如(ru)妙高山;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)自(zi)身顯發的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)威嚴之光,超(chao)過(guo)了太(tai)陽和(he)月亮;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)心(xin)境的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)潔凈無(wu)(wu)垢(gou),又像那潔白的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)雪山;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)忍(ren)受侮辱的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精神,與那默默承(cheng)負一(yi)切(qie)(qie)重(zhong)荷的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)地一(yi)樣:大(da)地載物不(bu)分(fen)輕重(zhong),菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)度人(ren)也不(bu)分(fen)親疏;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清(qing)凈境界(jie),可與除塵(chen)洗(xi)垢(gou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清(qing)水(shui)相比(bi):清(qing)水(shui)溪流(liu)可洗(xi)世(shi)(shi)(shi)塵(chen),菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)清(qing)凈可洗(xi)心(xin)塵(chen);菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)智慧(hui)熾盛,如(ru)同火(huo)焰:智慧(hui)之火(huo)燒(shao)盡煩惱(nao)之薪柴;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)不(bu)執著的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)品性(xing)如(ru)同大(da)風:風拂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie),無(wu)(wu)所(suo)不(bu)到(dao),菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)行遍世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie),自(zi)由自(zi)在而(er)無(wu)(wu)所(suo)障礙;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)宣講傳布的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛法(fa)大(da)音,加同雷聲遠達,震(zhen)醒了世(shi)(shi)(shi)間癡(chi)迷而(er)未(wei)覺(jue)悟(wu)之人(ren);菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)教(jiao)法(fa)猶(you)(you)如(ru)甘(gan)露:甘(gan)露滋(zi)潤大(da)地萬物,佛法(fa)滋(zi)潤眾(zhong)生(sheng)心(xin)靈;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)平(ping)等(deng)慈悲(bei)猶(you)(you)如(ru)虛空:虛空廣(guang)大(da)無(wu)(wu)邊無(wu)(wu)際(ji),菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)慈悲(bei)也無(wu)(wu)邊無(wu)(wu)際(ji)蔭庇(bi)(bi)眾(zhong)生(sheng);菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)品格猶(you)(you)如(ru)白蓮(lian):蓮(lian)花不(bu)離污泥(ni)但又出污泥(ni)而(er)不(bu)染,菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)不(bu)舍眾(zhong)生(sheng),但身處濁世(shi)(shi)(shi)穢土(tu)而(er)仍然清(qing)凈;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)胸懷猶(you)(you)如(ru)尼(ni)枸樹:尼(ni)枸樹寬闊而(er)遮陽蔽日,菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)胸懷也能(neng)(neng)蔭庇(bi)(bi)眾(zhong)生(sheng);菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)銳利猶(you)(you)如(ru)金剛杵:金剛杵能(neng)(neng)摧毀一(yi)切(qie)(qie)鎧(kai)甲,菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)般若妙智也能(neng)(neng)退;切(qie)(qie)煩惱(nao)魔(mo)軍;菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)堅(jian)強(qiang)猶(you)(you)如(ru)鐵圍(wei)山:鐵圍(wei)山堅(jian)固不(bu)為(wei)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)所(suo)摧,菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)(sa)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)堅(jian)強(qiang),也不(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)魔(mo)外道所(suo)動(dong)搖(yao)。

極樂世界菩薩之心(xin),方廣平(ping)正;順(shun)遂機宜,巧行權便,講(jiang)論(lun)佛經從不生厭(yan),追求(qiu)佛法(fa)不知疲倦;持(chi)戒(jie)凈潔(jie),譬如琉璃清(qing)徹;心(xin)意行動,光明(ming)(ming)磊(lei)落,明(ming)(ming)鑒表里;菩薩們所(suo)說之法(fa),使大家心(xin)悅(yue)誠服;法(fa)音震響,猶(you)如擊鼓(gu);威德摧邪(xie),猶(you)如建法(fa)之幢(chuang);智慧照(zhao)迷(mi),猶(you)如燦爛太陽。破除(chu)無(wu)明(ming)(ming)造成(cheng)的(de)(de)癡惑,建成(cheng)無(wu)貪(tan)無(wu)求(qiu)的(de)(de)淳靜(jing)心(xin)境;其禪定智慧溫和,纖毫明(ming)(ming)察,能入(ru)實際之理(li)體。作為(wei)大導(dao)師(shi),調(diao)伏抑(yi)制(zhi)自己(ji)和他(ta)人(ren)的(de)(de)不安(an)之心(xin)。引導(dao)群生,舍離拋棄諸(zhu)多(duo)愛欲物著,永遠離開貪(tan)、瞋、癡三種污垢(gou),運任游戲于神通之中。

極樂世(shi)界的(de)(de)菩薩(sa)們(men)因為(wei)過去所修之善的(de)(de)因緣力(li),積累功德生出牢不(bu)可破的(de)(de)堅固善心(xin),摧毀和(he)降伏一切(qie)(qie)惡魔大(da)軍(jun)。尊重(zhong)待奉諸(zhu)佛;成(cheng)為(wei)照(zhao)耀世(shi)界的(de)(de)明(ming)燈(deng);得(de)世(shi)間眾生供養(yang),成(cheng)為(wei)世(shi)間眾生最好的(de)(de)福田。菩薩(sa)們(men)具有(you)文殊大(da)士那樣的(de)(de)智德,堪受一切(qie)(qie)有(you)情供養(yang)。他們(men)威光顯赫(he),神采奕奕,面貌(mao)和(he)悅(yue),內心(xin)歡喜,雄健勇猛,無畏(wei)無懼,其(qi)音(yin)容相貌(mao)非同一般,又(you)有(you)無量的(de)(de)功德和(he)無礙的(de)(de)雄辯才能莊嚴其(qi)身,如(ru)此種種,實在找不(bu)到能與之媲美的(de)(de)了。

“西方極樂世(shi)界的(de)菩薩們(men)時(shi)時(shi)得到(dao)諸佛的(de)共同稱贊,他們(men)探究完成(cheng)諸菩薩該修的(de)覺悟,而永遠處于(yu)不生不滅(mie)的(de)涅(nie)盤正定的(de)狀(zhuang)態,在一切道場(chang)中遍修所有(you)功(gong)行(xing),遠遠超離(li)聲聞(wen)、緣覺二乘的(de)境(jing)界。阿(a)難!我現在只是略略提一下,那(nei)極樂世(shi)界中菩薩們(men)的(de)真(zhen)實功(gong)德(de),大體上如我以上所說(shuo),但若要(yao)廣(guang)泛和詳細地介紹,即使說(shuo)上百千萬個時(shi)劫也(ye)難以說(shuo)完呢!”

壽(shou)樂無極第(di)三十二

【原文】佛告彌(mi)勒菩薩、諸天人等:無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量壽國(guo)(guo),聲聞菩薩,功德智慧,不(bu)可稱說。又其(qi)國(guo)(guo)土微妙安(an)樂,清(qing)凈(jing)若(ruo)此(ci)。何不(bu)力為善,念(nian)(nian)道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)。出(chu)入供養,觀(guan)經行道(dao)(dao)。喜樂久(jiu)習,才猛(meng)智慧。心不(bu)中(zhong)(zhong)回(hui),意無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)懈(xie)時。外(wai)若(ruo)遲緩(huan),內獨駛急。容容虛空(kong),適得其(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)。中(zhong)(zhong)表相應,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)嚴整。檢斂端直,身(shen)心潔凈(jing)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)愛貪,志愿安(an)定。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)增缺減,求道(dao)(dao)和正(zheng)。不(bu)誤傾邪,隨經約令(ling)。不(bu)敢蹉跌,若(ruo)于繩墨。咸為道(dao)(dao)慕(mu),曠無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)他(ta)念(nian)(nian)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)憂思,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)為。虛空(kong)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)立,淡安(an)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)欲。作(zuo)得善愿,盡(jin)心求索。含(han)哀(ai)慈愍,禮(li)義都(dou)合。苞羅表里,過度解脫。自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)保守(shou),真真潔白。志愿無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上,凈(jing)定安(an)樂。一(yi)旦開(kai)達(da)明徹,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)中(zhong)(zhong)自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)相,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)之(zhi)有(you)根本(ben),自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)光色參回(hui),轉(zhuan)變(bian)最勝。郁單成七寶,橫(heng)攬成萬物。光精(jing)明俱出(chu),善好殊無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)比(bi)。著于無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上下(xia),洞達(da)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)邊(bian)際(ji)。宜各勤(qin)精(jing)進,努力自(zi)(zi)求之(zhi)。必得超絕去,往(wang)生(sheng)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量清(qing)凈(jing)阿彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛國(guo)(guo)。橫(heng)截于五(wu)趣,惡道(dao)(dao)自(zi)(zi)閉塞。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)極(ji)之(zhi)勝道(dao)(dao),易往(wang)而無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)人。其(qi)國(guo)(guo)不(bu)逆違,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)(ran)所(suo)牽隨。捐志若(ruo)虛空(kong),勤(qin)行求道(dao)(dao)德。可得極(ji)長生(sheng),壽樂無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)極(ji)。何為著世事(shi),譊譊憂無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)常(chang)。

【譯文】釋加牟尼佛又(you)轉而對彌(mi)勒(le)菩薩和諸在(zai)座的(de)(de)天人等說道:“無量壽佛國中的(de)(de)聲聞(wen)、菩薩功(gong)德智慧無量,是沒有辦法表述得清的(de)(de)。還有,其國土如此(ci)微(wei)妙(miao),安樂和清凈,你們為什么不(bu)勉力行善(shan),又(you)以所積累的(de)(de)善(shan)功(gong)德回向凈土,自(zi)然生發往(wang)生凈土之念,由念引導(dao)而往(wang)生極樂世界呢(ni)?

“極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)的(de)菩(pu)薩、聲(sheng)聞等(deng)會眾(zhong),出入于(yu)(yu)(yu)十方世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)供養諸佛,閱讀藏(zang)經(jing),修(xiu)行佛事(shi),皆(jie)(jie)樂(le)(le)于(yu)(yu)(yu)長久(jiu)如(ru)(ru)(ru)此。他們(men)的(de)才能(neng)超(chao)(chao)世(shi)(shi)(shi),智(zhi)慧圓融(rong),心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)沒(mei)有(you)(you)退(tui)轉的(de)念(nian)(nian)頭(tou),意志(zhi)(zhi)沒(mei)有(you)(you)片刻懈怠放(fang)逸;外表(biao)(biao)看去安閑沉(chen)穩,內心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)卻急速地(di)精(jing)進(jin)不已。心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)同(tong)于(yu)(yu)(yu)虛(xu)(xu)空,沒(mei)有(you)(you)一物(wu)而又(you)能(neng)容下萬物(wu),沒(mei)有(you)(you)邊(bian)際而又(you)能(neng)建(jian)立凈(jing)(jing)土,非空非有(you)(you),適(shi)得不落兩(liang)邊(bian)的(de)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)道(dao)。聲(sheng)聞、菩(pu)薩們(men)適(shi)得中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)道(dao)之內心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin),顯示在表(biao)(biao)情(qing)上,表(biao)(biao)里相(xiang)映(ying)煥然(ran)成輝(hui),自(zi)(zi)然(ran)而又(you)嚴整;檢束(shu)身(shen)體的(de)姿態表(biao)(biao)情(qing),收斂(lian)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)思維意念(nian)(nian);外表(biao)(biao)端莊,內心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)正(zheng)(zheng)直,身(shen)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)潔凈(jing)(jing),沒(mei)有(you)(you)愛欲貪染(ran)(ran);他們(men)的(de)志(zhi)(zhi)向誓愿,堅定(ding)不移而無些(xie)微缺減;他們(men)所追求的(de)大(da)(da)道(dao),平和中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)正(zheng)(zheng),永不會誤入狹(xia)路以至(zhi)邪道(dao);他們(men)隨順(shun)經(jing)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)言和戒律,自(zi)(zi)覺接受約束(shu)規(gui)定(ding),不敢放(fang)逸而失(shi)足逾界(jie),有(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)木工操作遵(zun)循墨線,循規(gui)蹈矩;他們(men)的(de)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)所企慕,皆(jie)(jie)是正(zheng)(zheng)真(zhen)至(zhi)道(dao),沒(mei)有(you)(you)其他妄念(nian)(nian)雜(za)念(nian)(nian)拂亂(luan),沒(mei)有(you)(you)什么憂慮之思干擾(rao);他們(men)自(zi)(zi)然(ran)安住于(yu)(yu)(yu)無為法(fa)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)志(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)虛(xu)(xu)空無有(you)(you)一物(wu),淡泊安寧不染(ran)(ran)物(wu)欲;以此結成大(da)(da)愿,盡(jin)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)盡(jin)力(li)地(di)前去求索。再者,這些(xie)極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)的(de)會眾(zhong)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)懷慈悲哀憫(min),契(qi)合世(shi)(shi)(shi)間道(dao)德,融(rong)洽現象本質,自(zi)(zi)度度他,均(jun)得解脫生死。他們(men)任運自(zi)(zi)然(ran),保(bao)守(shou)本來善性潔白無染(ran)(ran),志(zhi)(zhi)向愿心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)甚為高(gao)尚,住于(yu)(yu)(yu)寂(ji)定(ding)而安然(ran)自(zi)(zi)適(shi),日積月累,便能(neng)在一旦之中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)毫不勉強地(di)契(qi)合自(zi)(zi)然(ran)實相(xiang),把握根本的(de)道(dao)理。這些(xie)聲(sheng)聞、菩(pu)薩之心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)如(ru)(ru)(ru)同(tong)神奇珍寶,自(zi)(zi)然(ran)之光和自(zi)(zi)然(ran)之色相(xiang)互滲(shen)入、回(hui)轉變化,超(chao)(chao)過十方的(de)眾(zhong)寶。北方大(da)(da)洲自(zi)(zi)然(ran)生出七寶,橫空中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)自(zi)(zi)然(ran)涌(yong)現出萬物(wu),光明(ming)、精(jing)妙、明(ming)凈(jing)(jing)齊顯并現,諸善眾(zhong)好(hao),無與倫比,皆(jie)(jie)由極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)會眾(zhong)的(de)凈(jing)(jing)心(xin)(xin)(xin)(xin)生出。他們(men)的(de)智(zhi)慧明(ming)證(zheng)理體無有(you)(you)高(gao)下,洞(dong)達事(shi)相(xiang)沒(mei)有(you)(you)邊(bian)際。”

釋迦(jia)牟尼佛(fo)介(jie)紹極樂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界人眾(zhong)的功德智(zhi)慧,又為喚(huan)醒法會(hui)大眾(zhong)說:“你們應(ying)各自(zi)(zi)精進(jin)(jin)勤修,努力自(zi)(zi)求真如本心,必得(de)超脫輪回,斷除(chu)生(sheng)(sheng)死,往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)到無(wu)量(liang)清凈的阿彌陀佛(fo)凈土(tu)(tu)。到那時,頓舍娑婆世(shi)(shi)(shi)界五道輪回,諸(zhu)多惡道之(zhi)門自(zi)(zi)然(ran)關閉;這(zhe)凈土(tu)(tu)法門是最勝(sheng)之(zhi)道,雖(sui)然(ran)易得(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng),可穢土(tu)(tu)修行(xing)的人卻很少(shao)。十(shi)方無(wu)窮(qiong)極的眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)得(de)益于佛(fo)國毫無(wu)逆違往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)的性(xing)質(另一(yi)解釋:西方凈土(tu)(tu)敞開大門,攝受接(jie)納十(shi)方一(yi)切(qie)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng),然(ran)而,娑婆眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)久(jiu)在(zai)煩(fan)惱纏縛之(zhi)中,貪戀世(shi)(shi)(shi)樂,不(bu)生(sheng)(sheng)厭(yan)離,陷于自(zi)(zi)身(shen)結構性(xing)的困境,焉得(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)?)。大家捐(juan)除(chu)煩(fan)惱,其志應(ying)如虛空(kong),凈無(wu)垢染,勤奮修行(xing),進(jin)(jin)道增德,便可以在(zai)凈土(tu)(tu)獲得(de)長(chang)生(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)老,和極樂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界人眾(zhong)一(yi)樣長(chang)壽安樂,生(sheng)(sheng)命無(wu)有(you)極限。既如此,為什(shen)么還要貪著世(shi)(shi)(shi)間俗(su)事俗(su)利,沒完(wan)沒了地憂慮(lv),為世(shi)(shi)(shi)間無(wu)常所折磨呢?”

勸諭(yu)策進第三十三

【原文】世人共爭不急之(zhi)(zhi)務(wu),于此(ci)劇惡(e)極苦(ku)之(zhi)(zhi)中,勤身營(ying)務(wu),以自給濟。尊卑(bei)、貧富、少長、男女,累念積慮,為心走(zou)使。無(wu)(wu)田憂(you)田,無(wu)(wu)宅憂(you)宅,眷屬(shu)財(cai)物(wu),有(you)無(wu)(wu)同憂(you)。有(you)一少一,思欲齊(qi)等,適小具有(you),又憂(you)非(fei)常。水火盜賊,怨(yuan)家債主,焚漂(piao)劫奪,消散磨(mo)滅(mie)。心慳意固,無(wu)(wu)能縱舍。

命終棄捐,莫誰隨者。貧富同然,憂苦萬(wan)端。

世(shi)間(jian)人民,父子兄(xiong)弟夫婦親屬(shu),當相(xiang)敬愛(ai),無相(xiang)憎(zeng)嫉。有無相(xiang)通(tong),無得貪惜。言色常和,莫相(xiang)違戾。或時心諍,有所恚怒。后(hou)世(shi)轉(zhuan)劇,至成大怨。世(shi)間(jian)之事,更相(xiang)患害,雖不臨(lin)時,應(ying)急(ji)想破。

人(ren)在愛欲之中,獨(du)生獨(du)死,獨(du)去獨(du)來(lai),苦樂自當,無(wu)有代者。善惡(e)變化(hua),追逐(zhu)所生,道路(lu)不同,會見無(wu)期。何不于強健時,努力修善,欲何待乎(hu)?

世人善惡(e)自不能見,吉(ji)兇禍福,競各作之。身愚神暗,轉受余(yu)教。顛倒相續,無常根本。蒙冥抵(di)突,不信經法。心無遠慮,各欲快意。迷于(yu)瞋恚,貪于(yu)財色。終不休止,哀哉(zai)可(ke)傷!先(xian)人不善,不識道德,無有(you)語者,殊無怪也。

死生之趣,善惡之道(dao)(dao),都(dou)不之信(xin),謂無(wu)有是。更相(xiang)瞻視,且自見之。或(huo)(huo)父哭子,或(huo)(huo)子哭父,兄弟夫婦,更相(xiang)哭泣(qi)。一死一生,迭相(xiang)顧戀。憂愛結縛,無(wu)有解時(shi)。思(si)想恩(en)好,不離情(qing)欲。不能深思(si)熟(shu)計,專精行道(dao)(dao)。年壽(shou)旋盡,無(wu)可奈(nai)何(he)。

惑道(dao)者眾,悟(wu)道(dao)者少。各懷殺毒,惡氣冥冥。為妄興事(shi),違逆天地。恣意罪極,頓奪其壽。下入(ru)惡道(dao),無有出期。

若曹當熟思計,遠離眾惡(e)。擇(ze)其善者(zhe),勤(qin)而行之。愛欲榮華,不(bu)可(ke)常保,皆當別離,無(wu)可(ke)樂(le)者(zhe)。當勤(qin)精(jing)進,生安樂(le)國。智慧明達,功(gong)德殊勝。勿得隨心所欲,虧負經戒,在人后也。

【譯文】“世(shi)(shi)間(jian)的人(ren)(ren)們都在計較那瑣細無益的世(shi)(shi)利俗(su)務,在此苦痛不(bu)(bu)堪的五惡世(shi)(shi)間(jian),辛勤勞作,經營生計,以求自給,于(yu)苦中(zhong)求快樂;世(shi)(shi)間(jian)蕓蕓眾生中(zhong),無論大人(ren)(ren)物(wu)或(huo)(huo)小(xiao)人(ren)(ren)物(wu),富人(ren)(ren)或(huo)(huo)窮人(ren)(ren),少(shao)年或(huo)(huo)老人(ren)(ren),男(nan)人(ren)(ren)或(huo)(huo)女人(ren)(ren),種(zhong)種(zhong)一切之人(ren)(ren),都因為貪(tan)欲(yu)之念(nian)長期累積(ji),處心(xin)積(ji)慮只(zhi)求一快,其實貪(tan)欲(yu)之心(xin)不(bu)(bu)過(guo)導致奔(ben)波(bo)勞碌。沒有田(tian)地的想要得(de)(de)田(tian)地,沒有房屋(wu)的想要得(de)(de)房屋(wu),沒有家(jia)(jia)眷、親屬、妻室兒女以及沒有財物(wu)、產業、珍寶、器物(wu)的,也都處心(xin)積(ji)慮,盤算鉆營,必欲(yu)據有而后心(xin)安。沒有的人(ren)(ren)有所憂(you)苦,已有的人(ren)(ren)也不(bu)(bu)得(de)(de)安逸。有一些(xie)財物(wu)反(fan)(fan)而欲(yu)海難填,希(xi)望(wang)再多(duo)得(de)(de)一星半點。有了一件(jian)的覺得(de)(de)一件(jian)太(tai)少(shao),有了兩(liang)件(jian)的又覺得(de)(de)兩(liang)件(jian)還少(shao),欲(yu)望(wang)和獲取,總(zong)是相(xiang)逐相(xiang)長,沒有止境。才達到小(xiao)有資產,旋(xuan)即擔(dan)心(xin)遭遇損(sun)失;害怕(pa)(pa)火(huo)災焚燒,害怕(pa)(pa)水災流漂,害怕(pa)(pa)盜賊(zei)偷竊,害怕(pa)(pa)土匪劫奪,害怕(pa)(pa)冤家(jia)(jia)仇殺,害怕(pa)(pa)債(zhai)主(zhu)催逼(bi)。憂(you)懼之中(zhong),清凈本心(xin)在此消(xiao)散(san)磨滅(mie)。慳吝之心(xin),反(fan)(fan)倒(dao)越來越頑固,煩惱纏(chan)縛,在泥坑中(zhong)越陷越深(shen)。

“世(shi)(shi)間(jian)一切人(ren)(ren)命終之時,不管你有多少(shao)眷(juan)屬,積存了多少(shao)財寶,全部要舍離拋棄。你所鐘愛的(de)物也罷(ba),人(ren)(ren)也罷(ba),都(dou)不會隨你去那另一世(shi)(shi)間(jian);即或去到另一世(shi)(shi)間(jian)也不能同你在一起。富(fu)人(ren)(ren)和窮人(ren)(ren),在此(ci)陰間(jian)地下(xia)也都(dou)平等無差,個(ge)中憂(you)苦,萬端無盡。

“世間的(de)人民——父(fu)子、兄弟、夫婦、親屬(shu),應(ying)(ying)當(dang)相(xiang)互(hu)(hu)尊(zun)敬友愛,不要(yao)(yao)相(xiang)互(hu)(hu)憎恨(hen)與(yu)嫉妒;應(ying)(ying)當(dang)互(hu)(hu)相(xiang)幫助救(jiu)護(hu),有(you)什(shen)么(me)財物要(yao)(yao)互(hu)(hu)相(xiang)周濟,不要(yao)(yao)貪圖吝惜;應(ying)(ying)當(dang)說話和(he)氣,和(he)顏悅色,互(hu)(hu)尊(zun)互(hu)(hu)敬,不要(yao)(yao)背逆斗狠;一時(shi)生(sheng)起爭(zheng)訟之心,心里不免嗔恚忿怒,惡意(yi)愈演愈烈(lie),最終結成(cheng)大恨(hen)深仇;世間若冤(yuan)冤(yuan)相(xiang)報(bao),更(geng)會結成(cheng)丈冤(yuan)大孽,兩家(jia)相(xiang)爭(zheng),雙方都招禍害(hai);即(ji)令(ling)有(you)時(shi)報(bao)應(ying)(ying)沒有(you)立(li)即(ji)顯現,還以為自己占了上風,但因(yin)果相(xiang)生(sheng),從來不爽,惡報(bao)只(zhi)是(shi)時(shi)間問題(ti)。眾生(sheng)應(ying)(ying)當(dang)想透這個(ge)道理而立(li)即(ji)破除恚恨(hen),棄(qi)惡向善。

“人(ren)沉(chen)溺(ni)在(zai)情愛貪欲之(zhi)中,獨身而來,孤(gu)獨而死,生(sheng)無人(ren)相隨(sui),死無人(ren)陪伴,苦樂之(zhi)果報,都是自作(zuo)自受,沒有(you)(you)誰能代替,也無人(ren)可以(yi)除免。善(shan)(shan)與惡(e)(e)的(de)循(xun)環果報千變萬(wan)化,追(zhui)從相隨(sui),直到來生(sheng)來世。雖是親眷家屬,善(shan)(shan)有(you)(you)善(shan)(shan)報,惡(e)(e)有(you)(you)惡(e)(e)報,善(shan)(shan)生(sheng)善(shan)(shan)趣,惡(e)(e)降惡(e)(e)道,若積(ji)業有(you)(you)差,生(sheng)處也就不(bu)(bu)同,到那時便無從會見,何不(bu)(bu)趁此強(qiang)健(jian)在(zai)世之(zhi)時,努力修行善(shan)(shan)道,還將等(deng)到什么(me)時候(hou)?

“世間之(zhi)人(ren)因(yin)為不(bu)能(neng)夠認識什(shen)么(me)(me)是(shi)善,什(shen)么(me)(me)是(shi)惡(e),各以(yi)自己的(de)愚(yu)癡,妄加(jia)分(fen)別猜(cai)測(ce)吉兇禍福,競(jing)相造(zao)作惡(e)業,身作愚(yu)行,頭腦(nao)中(zhong)一片黑暗(an),不(bu)信受(shou)經法,反而接受(shou)其(qi)他(ta)的(de)外道(dao)邪說。如是(shi)的(de)顛倒之(zhi)見,相續(xu)不(bu)絕,成(cheng)為生(sheng)死(si)無(wu)常輪(lun)回的(de)根本動(dong)力,這就像(xiang)蒙上眼睛什(shen)么(me)(me)也看(kan)不(bu)見,卻一味胡(hu)沖亂闖。不(bu)信受(shou)佛教經法,心便沒有遠慮,一心追求于(yu)現世之(zhi)樂;癡迷于(yu)瞋恚忿怒而不(bu)自覺,貪吝財物女色而以(yi)為欣然。肆無(wu)忌憚(dan),沒有終了(le)之(zhi)時,真正悲(bei)哀,實在可憐!上輩愚(yu)癡,不(bu)知佛道(dao),不(bu)懂道(dao)德(de),不(bu)對(dui)后(hou)輩進(jin)行教導,世代惡(e)業相襲,癡頑無(wu)知,世世作惡(e)受(shou)報(bao),就沒有什(shen)么(me)(me)可奇(qi)怪的(de)了(le)。

“世間之(zhi)(zhi)人,對生(sheng)死輪回于六道,前(qian)生(sheng)積(ji)善,下世得(de)善,前(qian)生(sheng)積(ji)惡(e),下世得(de)惡(e)的規(gui)律(lv),不能相信(xin)奉受,以(yi)為(wei)(wei)并沒(mei)有(you)因果報(bao)應。更有(you)甚者,看到別(bie)人死了袖手旁觀,無(wu)動于衷,殊不知生(sheng)死之(zhi)(zhi)事遲早必(bi)然要落到自(zi)己頭上。父子、兄弟、夫婦等親屬死別(bie)之(zhi)(zhi)時,相互哭泣。相愛(ai)的人生(sheng)離死別(bie),一次次地戀顧難分(fen),恩愛(ai)轉化(hua)為(wei)(wei)憂苦,如(ru)結繩自(zi)相束縛,哪(na)里還有(you)解脫的時候?思(si)想生(sheng)前(qian)的恩恩愛(ai)愛(ai),考慮(lv)親善友誼,無(wu)不是情欲所(suo)支配。不能深思(si)熟慮(lv)而專心精勤地修行佛道,人生(sheng)苦短(duan),年(nian)壽(shou)一期(qi),轉瞬(shun)即盡(jin),衰老(lao)來臨,則一籌莫展,徒感(gan)無(wu)可(ke)奈(nai)何!

“世間(jian)(jian)對(dui)佛(fo)法不理解而迷惑的人(ren)多,醒悟得道的人(ren)少,各(ge)人(ren)心懷殘傷他人(ren)的心念(nian),惡氣冥冥昏暗,如是造惡之(zhi)人(ren)由妄(wang)心興(xing)起各(ge)種事端,違(wei)背天命,不顧人(ren)意(yi),恣(zi)意(yi)作惡,惡貫滿(man)盈,頓時(shi)之(zhi)間(jian)(jian)便會奪去陽壽,下墮于地(di)獄、餓鬼、畜生惡道,永無出頭之(zhi)期。

“你們(men)應(ying)當(dang)深思熟慮(lv),遠(yuan)(yuan)遠(yuan)(yuan)脫離(li)各種惡業,選擇(ze)善事,勤(qin)苦地修行之。富(fu)貴榮(rong)華(hua)不可能長久保持,到時(shi)候(hou)都將離(li)你而去。富(fu)貴榮(rong)華(hua)其(qi)實(shi)也(ye)都是‘苦’,沒有什(shen)么可稱為‘樂’的。你們(men)應(ying)當(dang)勤(qin)奮精進,求生(sheng)(sheng)西(xi)(xi)方(fang)(fang)極(ji)樂世界(jie)。得生(sheng)(sheng)西(xi)(xi)方(fang)(fang)極(ji)樂世界(jie),則(ze)智慧明了通達,功德最大。千萬不要隨心所欲,虧負于經(jing)教戒行,落(luo)在他人之后(hou)。”

心得開明第三十四

【原文】彌(mi)(mi)勒白言:佛(fo)語教(jiao)戒,甚深(shen)甚善(shan)。皆蒙慈(ci)恩,解脫憂(you)苦(ku)(ku)。佛(fo)為(wei)法王,尊超群圣,光明徹(che)照,洞達無(wu)(wu)極(ji),普為(wei)一切(qie)天(tian)人之(zhi)(zhi)師。今得值佛(fo),復聞無(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)(shou)聲,靡(mi)不歡(huan)喜,心(xin)(xin)得開明。佛(fo)告(gao)彌(mi)(mi)勒:敬于(yu)佛(fo)者(zhe),是為(wei)大善(shan)。實當(dang)念佛(fo),截(jie)斷狐(hu)疑(yi)。拔諸愛欲,杜眾惡源(yuan)。游步三界(jie),無(wu)(wu)所(suo)罣礙。開示(shi)正道,度未度者(zhe)。若曹當(dang)知十方人民,永劫(jie)以(yi)來,輾轉(zhuan)五道,憂(you)苦(ku)(ku)不絕。生(sheng)(sheng)時苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),老(lao)亦苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),病(bing)極(ji)苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),死極(ji)苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)。惡臭不凈(jing),無(wu)(wu)可樂者(zhe)。宜(yi)自(zi)決斷,洗(xi)除心(xin)(xin)垢。言行(xing)忠信,表(biao)里相應。人能自(zi)度,轉(zhuan)相拯(zheng)濟。至心(xin)(xin)求愿,積(ji)累(lei)善(shan)本。雖一世精進勤苦(ku)(ku),須臾(yu)間耳(er)。后生(sheng)(sheng)無(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)(shou)國,快樂無(wu)(wu)極(ji)。永拔生(sheng)(sheng)死之(zhi)(zhi)本,無(wu)(wu)復苦(ku)(ku)惱之(zhi)(zhi)患。壽(shou)(shou)千萬劫(jie),自(zi)在隨意。宜(yi)各精進,求心(xin)(xin)所(suo)愿。無(wu)(wu)得疑(yi)悔,自(zi)為(wei)過(guo)咎,生(sheng)(sheng)彼邊地七寶(bao)城中,于(yu)五百(bai)歲受諸厄也。彌(mi)(mi)勒白言:受佛(fo)明誨,專精修學。如(ru)教(jiao)奉行(xing),不敢有疑(yi)。

【譯文】彌勒(le)菩薩(sa)于(yu)是說(shuo):“佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)說(shuo)了教人修善的法義,非(fei)常(chang)深(shen)刻非(fei)常(chang)善妙。我等會眾都蒙佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)慈悲之恩(en),得聞要津,以(yi)解脫于(yu)生死憂苦。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)為法王,超過諸天圣人而為至(zhi)尊,佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)所說(shuo)之法如(ru)同光明,澈照十(shi)方,洞達無(wu)窮。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)是所有(you)(you)有(you)(you)緣(yuan)眾生的導(dao)師(shi)。現在得以(yi)在這(zhe)里(li)見到(dao)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)并聽聞說(shuo)法,實在難得,更難得的是聽聞到(dao)有(you)(you)關無(wu)量(liang)壽佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的聲音,大家沒有(you)(you)一個不(bu)歡欣鼓舞的,我們的心因此得以(yi)澈悟而明了真(zhen)諦。”

釋迦牟(mou)尼佛告誨彌勒:“恭敬于佛的(de)(de)人,他是(shi)有(you)大善之人,應當(dang)實(shi)實(shi)際際地(di)念佛,截斷狐(hu)疑猜忌,拔(ba)除(chu)各(ge)種愛欲(yu),杜絕各(ge)種惡(e)意(yi)惡(e)念的(de)(de)源(yuan)頭,雖然(ran)奔(ben)走(zou)于三界世間穢土,卻無(wu)所(suo)牽掛,無(wu)所(suo)障礙,向(xiang)眾(zhong)生開示講演佛法正道(dao),度化還未得度化的(de)(de)有(you)情眾(zhong)生。你們(men)應當(dang)知(zhi)道(dao),十方世界的(de)(de)人民,從無(wu)比久遠以(yi)來(lai),反復輾轉、輪回于天、人、畜生、餓鬼和地(di)獄五道(dao),沉淪生死,憂苦(ku)(ku)不(bu)絕。誕生之時(shi)有(you)‘生苦(ku)(ku)’之痛,壽終之時(shi)有(you)‘死苦(ku)(ku)’之痛,身體臭惡(e)而不(bu)清(qing)凈(jing),沒有(you)什么(me)可稱為‘快樂’的(de)(de)。應自下決心,斷絕惡(e)因,洗濯(zhuo)心中(zhong)的(de)(de)污垢,如言而行,如行而言,表里如一,誠實(shi)無(wu)欺。

“洗除了(le)污垢而表里如一(yi)(yi)的(de)(de)人,能夠自(zi)行(xing)度脫,由自(zi)度轉(zhuan)而拯救濟度他人。一(yi)(yi)心求取(qu)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)西方極(ji)樂凈土的(de)(de)大(da)愿,稱名念佛,積(ji)累善(shan)本。雖一(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)一(yi)(yi)世(shi)精(jing)進(jin)修行(xing)十分(fen)勤苦(ku),但這一(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)之苦(ku),較之一(yi)(yi)個人的(de)(de)生(sheng)(sheng)生(sheng)(sheng)世(shi)世(shi),只猶如片刻(ke)之間。此(ci)生(sheng)(sheng)之勤苦(ku),使(shi)后世(shi)得(de)以往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)無(wu)量壽(shou)國,享受無(wu)窮無(wu)盡的(de)(de)快樂,拔除生(sheng)(sheng)死根本惡因(yin),遠離(li)苦(ku)病煩惱之患,壽(shou)命長(chang)達千萬時劫,自(zi)在(zai)神通(tong)而諸事隨心所(suo)欲。”

釋迦牟尼佛(fo)復喻眾(zhong)生:“你們應各自精進專(zhuan)修,把往(wang)生凈(jing)土的(de)(de)(de)愿望切實地(di)(di)變為行動。不(bu)要(yao)疑惑,不(bu)要(yao)中途反悔,以免(mian)錯過時機,造(zao)成錯誤罪行,以至往(wang)生時到(dao)了西方(fang)極樂凈(jing)土的(de)(de)(de)邊(bian)地(di)(di)之(zhi)國,在(zai)懷疑佛(fo)智的(de)(de)(de)眾(zhong)生聚(ju)集的(de)(de)(de)七寶獄中,于(yu)五百年的(de)(de)(de)時間內,不(bu)得(de)見(jian)佛(fo)、法、僧(seng)三寶,不(bu)得(de)聞諸(zhu)經(jing)佛(fo)法,受諸(zhu)不(bu)幸處罰(fa)。”

彌勒菩薩領(ling)受佛(fo)(fo)旨,乃向佛(fo)(fo)言:“今(jin)天我們承受了佛(fo)(fo)明白完備的教誨,我等當(dang)專一(yi)修行,精進學習,按(an)佛(fo)(fo)的教導誠心奉行,不(bu)敢生出半點疑惑。”

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)告彌勒:汝(ru)等(deng)(deng)能于此(ci)世(shi)(shi),端(duan)心(xin)(xin)正(zheng)意(yi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e),甚為(wei)大德。所(suo)(suo)以者(zhe)(zhe)何?十方世(shi)(shi)界,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)多(duo)惡(e)(e)少(shao),易(yi)可(ke)開化(hua)。唯此(ci)五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)世(shi)(shi)間,最為(wei)劇(ju)苦(ku)(ku)。我今(jin)于此(ci)作佛(fo)(fo),教(jiao)化(hua)群生(sheng)(sheng),令舍五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e),去五(wu)(wu)(wu)痛,離五(wu)(wu)(wu)燒,降(jiang)化(hua)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)意(yi),令持(chi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),獲其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)福德。何等(deng)(deng)為(wei)五(wu)(wu)(wu)?其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)一(yi)者(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)間諸眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)類,欲(yu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)。強(qiang)者(zhe)(zhe)伏弱,轉相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)克賊(zei),殘害(hai)(hai)(hai)殺(sha)傷,迭相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)吞啖,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),后受殃罰(fa)。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)窮乞、孤(gu)獨(du)、聾盲、喑啞、癡(chi)(chi)惡(e)(e)、尪狂,皆(jie)因前世(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信道(dao)德,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)尊(zun)貴、豪(hao)富、賢明(ming)(ming)、長(chang)者(zhe)(zhe)、智勇、才(cai)達,皆(jie)由宿世(shi)(shi)慈孝(xiao)(xiao),修(xiu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)積德所(suo)(suo)致。世(shi)(shi)間有(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)目前現(xian)事(shi),壽(shou)終(zhong)(zhong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后,入(ru)(ru)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)幽冥。轉生(sheng)(sheng)受身(shen)(shen)(shen),改形易(yi)道(dao)。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)泥(ni)犁、禽(qin)獸(shou)、蜎飛蠕動之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)屬。譬如(ru)世(shi)(shi)法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)牢(lao)獄,劇(ju)苦(ku)(ku)極刑(xing),魂神(shen)命(ming)精(jing),隨罪趣向。所(suo)(suo)受壽(shou)命(ming),或(huo)(huo)長(chang)或(huo)(huo)短,相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)從共(gong)生(sheng)(sheng),更相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)報償。殃惡(e)(e)未盡,終(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de)離。輾(zhan)轉其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),累劫(jie)(jie)難(nan)(nan)出。難(nan)(nan)得(de)解脫(tuo),痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)言(yan)(yan)。天地之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間,自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然有(you)(you)(you)(you)是(shi)。雖(sui)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)即時暴應,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)會當(dang)(dang)(dang)歸(gui)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)二者(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)間人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民(min)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順(shun)(shun)法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)度。奢(she)淫驕縱,任心(xin)(xin)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)恣(zi)。居上(shang)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming)(ming),在(zai)位不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)。陷人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)冤枉,損害(hai)(hai)(hai)忠良(liang)(liang)。心(xin)(xin)口(kou)各異,機偽多(duo)端(duan)。尊(zun)卑(bei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外,更相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)欺誑。瞋(chen)恚(hui)愚癡(chi)(chi),欲(yu)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)厚己,欲(yu)貪多(duo)有(you)(you)(you)(you)。利(li)害(hai)(hai)(hai)勝(sheng)負,結(jie)忿成仇。破家(jia)亡(wang)身(shen)(shen)(shen),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)顧前后。富有(you)(you)(you)(you)慳惜,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯施與(yu)。愛保貪重,心(xin)(xin)勞身(shen)(shen)(shen)苦(ku)(ku)。如(ru)是(shi)至(zhi)(zhi)竟,無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)一(yi)隨者(zhe)(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)禍(huo)福,追(zhui)命(ming)所(suo)(suo)生(sheng)(sheng)。或(huo)(huo)在(zai)樂處,或(huo)(huo)入(ru)(ru)苦(ku)(ku)毒。又(you)或(huo)(huo)見善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)憎(zeng)謗,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思慕(mu)及(ji)。常(chang)(chang)(chang)懷盜(dao)心(xin)(xin),悕望(wang)(wang)他利(li)。用(yong)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)供給,消散復取。神(shen)明(ming)(ming)克識,終(zhong)(zhong)入(ru)(ru)惡(e)(e)道(dao)。自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)三(san)途(tu)(tu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),累劫(jie)(jie)難(nan)(nan)出,痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)言(yan)(yan)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)三(san)者(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)間人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民(min)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)因寄生(sheng)(sheng),壽(shou)命(ming)幾何。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)良(liang)(liang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)。常(chang)(chang)(chang)懷邪(xie)惡(e)(e),常(chang)(chang)(chang)念淫欲(yu)。煩滿胸中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),邪(xie)態外逸。費損家(jia)財,事(shi)為(wei)非法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa)。所(suo)(suo)當(dang)(dang)(dang)求者(zhe)(zhe),而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯為(wei)。又(you)或(huo)(huo)交結(jie)聚(ju)會,興兵相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)伐。攻劫(jie)(jie)殺(sha)戮,強(qiang)奪迫(po)脅。歸(gui)給妻子,極身(shen)(shen)(shen)作樂。眾(zhong)共(gong)憎(zeng)厭,患而苦(ku)(ku)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。如(ru)是(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)(e),著于人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)鬼。神(shen)明(ming)(ming)記識,自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)入(ru)(ru)三(san)途(tu)(tu)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。累劫(jie)(jie)難(nan)(nan)出,痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)言(yan)(yan)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)四者(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)間人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民(min)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)念修(xiu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。兩(liang)舌、惡(e)(e)口(kou)、妄言(yan)(yan)、綺(qi)語(yu)。憎(zeng)嫉善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),敗(bai)壞賢明(ming)(ming)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)孝(xiao)(xiao)父母,輕慢師長(chang)。朋友無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)信,難(nan)(nan)得(de)誠實。尊(zun)貴自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)大,謂己有(you)(you)(you)(you)道(dao)。橫行(xing)(xing)威勢,侵易(yi)于人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。欲(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)畏敬,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)慚(can)懼。難(nan)(nan)可(ke)降(jiang)化(hua),常(chang)(chang)(chang)懷驕慢。賴其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)前世(shi)(shi),福德營護(hu)。今(jin)世(shi)(shi)為(wei)惡(e)(e),福德盡滅。壽(shou)命(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)盡,諸惡(e)(e)繞歸(gui)。又(you)其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)名(ming)籍(ji),記在(zai)神(shen)明(ming)(ming)。殃咎牽(qian)引,無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)從舍離。但(dan)得(de)前行(xing)(xing),入(ru)(ru)于火(huo)鑊。身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)摧碎(sui),神(shen)形苦(ku)(ku)極。當(dang)(dang)(dang)斯之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)時,悔復何及(ji)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)者(zhe)(zhe),世(shi)(shi)間人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民(min)徙(xi)倚懈怠。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯作善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),治(zhi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)修(xiu)業。父母教(jiao)誨,違戾(li)反逆。譬如(ru)怨家(jia),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)如(ru)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)子。負恩(en)違義(yi),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)報償。放恣(zi)游散,耽酒嗜美。魯扈抵突,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)識人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)情。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)義(yi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)禮,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)諫曉。六親(qin)眷屬,資用(yong)有(you)(you)(you)(you)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能憂念。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)惟父母之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)恩(en),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)存師友之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)義(yi)。意(yi)念身(shen)(shen)(shen)口(kou),曾無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)一(yi)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信諸佛(fo)(fo)經(jing)法(fa)(fa)(fa)(fa),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信生(sheng)(sheng)死善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)。欲(yu)害(hai)(hai)(hai)真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),斗亂僧眾(zhong)。愚癡(chi)(chi)蒙(meng)昧,自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)智慧。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知生(sheng)(sheng)所(suo)(suo)從來,死所(suo)(suo)趣向。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)仁不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順(shun)(shun),希望(wang)(wang)長(chang)生(sheng)(sheng)。慈心(xin)(xin)教(jiao)誨,而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯信。苦(ku)(ku)口(kou)與(yu)語(yu),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)益其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。心(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)閉塞,意(yi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開解。大命(ming)將終(zhong)(zhong),悔懼交至(zhi)(zhi)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)預修(xiu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),臨時乃悔。悔之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于后,將何及(ji)乎(hu)!天地之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間,五(wu)(wu)(wu)道(dao)分(fen)明(ming)(ming)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)報應,禍(huo)福相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)承。身(shen)(shen)(shen)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)當(dang)(dang)(dang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)誰(shui)(shui)代者(zhe)(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)(xing)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),從樂入(ru)(ru)樂,從明(ming)(ming)入(ru)(ru)明(ming)(ming)。惡(e)(e)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)(xing)惡(e)(e),從苦(ku)(ku)入(ru)(ru)苦(ku)(ku),從冥入(ru)(ru)冥。誰(shui)(shui)能知者(zhe)(zhe),獨(du)佛(fo)(fo)知耳。教(jiao)語(yu)開示,信行(xing)(xing)者(zhe)(zhe)少(shao)。生(sheng)(sheng)死不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)休,惡(e)(e)道(dao)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕。如(ru)是(shi)世(shi)(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),難(nan)(nan)可(ke)具盡。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)然三(san)途(tu)(tu),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。世(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)累劫(jie)(jie),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)出期。難(nan)(nan)得(de)解脫(tuo),痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)言(yan)(yan)。如(ru)是(shi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)、五(wu)(wu)(wu)痛、五(wu)(wu)(wu)燒,譬如(ru)大火(huo),焚燒人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)身(shen)(shen)(shen)。若能自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)于其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)一(yi)心(xin)(xin)制意(yi),端(duan)身(shen)(shen)(shen)正(zheng)念,言(yan)(yan)行(xing)(xing)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)副(fu),所(suo)(suo)作至(zhi)(zhi)誠,獨(du)作諸善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)。身(shen)(shen)(shen)獨(du)度脫(tuo),獲其(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)福德,可(ke)得(de)長(chang)壽(shou)泥(ni)洹之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)。是(shi)為(wei)五(wu)(wu)(wu)大善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)也(ye)。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼佛告訴(su)彌勒說:“你等(deng)能于此(ci)(ci)濁世(shi)之(zhi)中(zhong)正心誠意,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)種(zhong)種(zhong)惡(e)業,堪可稱為(wei)‘大(da)(da)德(de)(de)(de)’。為(wei)什(shen)么這(zhe)(zhe)樣說呢?十方諸(zhu)佛世(shi)界善(shan)(shan)(shan)多(duo)惡(e)少,容易(yi)接受(shou)(shou)開(kai)導教(jiao)化,唯(wei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)五(wu)惡(e)世(shi)間(jian),‘苦(ku)’最大(da)(da)最多(duo)。我現(xian)(xian)(xian)今在(zai)(zai)此(ci)(ci)作(zuo)佛,教(jiao)化群生(sheng),欲(yu)使他們(men)舍掉(diao)‘五(wu)惡(e)’,去(qu)脫(tuo)‘五(wu)痛’,離開(kai)‘五(wu)燒’,降伏化除他們(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)癡迷(mi)之(zhi)心,讓他們(men)守持(chi)‘五(wu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)’,使他們(men)獲得福德(de)(de)(de)。這(zhe)(zhe)‘五(wu)’是(shi)(shi)什(shen)么呢?其(qi)(qi)一(yi)(yi)者,世(shi)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)諸(zhu)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)類,想作(zuo)種(zhong)種(zhong)惡(e)事,強者降伏弱者,強者身后又有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)更強者降伏他,輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)相(xiang)制,殘害(hai)傷殺,大(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)吞食小的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),吞食者又被更大(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)吞。以(yi)暴凌善(shan)(shan)(shan),以(yi)強欺弱,完全不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)懂(dong)得相(xiang)互為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)。因(yin)(yin)為(wei)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)如此(ci)(ci)作(zuo)惡(e)而其(qi)(qi)來生(sheng)受(shou)(shou)到的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)(guo)(guo)報(bao)(bao)和(he)懲罰。所(suo)(suo)以(yi),這(zhe)(zhe)世(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)貧窮、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)乞丐,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)無(wu)父母,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)無(wu)兒女,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)聾,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)瞎(xia),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)啞,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)癡呆,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡(e)毒,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)殘廢(fei),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)瘋狂,這(zhe)(zhe)都是(shi)(shi)因(yin)(yin)為(wei)前(qian)(qian)世(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信道(dao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)積德(de)(de)(de),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan),所(suo)(suo)受(shou)(shou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)‘殃罰’。世(shi)間(jian)也有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人尊(zun)(zun)貴,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人豪富,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人賢明,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人受(shou)(shou)眾(zhong)(zhong)尊(zun)(zun)敬,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人智勇(yong)雙全,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人才能精(jing)深博大(da)(da)。這(zhe)(zhe)都是(shi)(shi)由于前(qian)(qian)世(shi)慈悲孝順等(deng)等(deng)修善(shan)(shan)(shan)積德(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)得的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)善(shan)(shan)(shan)報(bao)(bao)。現(xian)(xian)(xian)實世(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)可見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)(guo)(guo)報(bao)(bao)之(zhi)事,更有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)壽終之(zhi)后下到冥(ming)界后不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)果(guo)(guo)(guo)報(bao)(bao)之(zhi)事,在(zai)(zai)冥(ming)界轉(zhuan)(zhuan)生(sheng)投胎又受(shou)(shou)色身,改變(bian)了(le)原(yuan)來的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)形(xing)象,變(bian)豬(zhu)變(bian)狗,在(zai)(zai)五(wu)道(dao)中(zhong)淪陷于更低的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)位置。因(yin)(yin)此(ci)(ci),便有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)地獄、禽獸、飛蠅、爬蟲(chong)之(zhi)類。這(zhe)(zhe)就猶如以(yi)世(shi)間(jian)法律治罪(zui)(zui)犯,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)關在(zai)(zai)牢(lao)獄之(zhi)中(zhong),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)受(shou)(shou)到極刑(xing)痛苦(ku)。精(jing)靈魂魄與其(qi)(qi)人前(qian)(qian)生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)罪(zui)(zui)報(bao)(bao)相(xiang)隨(sui)(sui)相(xiang)從,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)管所(suo)(suo)得到的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)命(ming)或長或短,冤家債主相(xiang)追隨(sui)(sui)共(gong)生(sheng)一(yi)(yi)處,一(yi)(yi)定要將前(qian)(qian)世(shi)怨仇(chou)一(yi)(yi)一(yi)(yi)清算,以(yi)期報(bao)(bao)償。所(suo)(suo)犯罪(zui)(zui)行若沒有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)結清,便不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能夠分(fen)開(kai),如此(ci)(ci)輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)往(wang)復于其(qi)(qi)惡(e)道(dao)中(zhong),很多(duo)時(shi)(shi)劫(jie)也難得出離,絕少有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)機會(hui)獲得解(jie)脫(tuo),其(qi)(qi)痛苦(ku)難以(yi)言說。天地之(zhi)間(jian),因(yin)(yin)果(guo)(guo)(guo)相(xiang)因(yin)(yin),報(bao)(bao)應不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)爽,必應有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)如此(ci)(ci)狀。有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)時(shi)(shi)雖不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)即時(shi)(shi)報(bao)(bao)應,但善(shan)(shan)(shan)因(yin)(yin)善(shan)(shan)(shan)果(guo)(guo)(guo),惡(e)因(yin)(yin)惡(e)果(guo)(guo)(guo),時(shi)(shi)候一(yi)(yi)至,無(wu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)兌現(xian)(xian)(xian)。

“其二者(zhe),世間人(ren)(ren)民(min)不(bu)依法規軌則,奢(she)侈淫樂(le),驕橫放(fang)縱,放(fang)情縱欲。居(ju)上(shang)位(wei)的(de)(de)(de)官(guan)員貪(tan)贓枉法,誤國殃民(min),在位(wei)而不(bu)能正已之(zhi)身,誣陷使人(ren)(ren)冤枉,更陷害忠良,阿諛誹謗,心口不(bu)一(yi),投機取(qu)巧(qiao),詭詐虛偽。還(huan)不(bu)只是(shi)(shi)居(ju)上(shang)位(wei)的(de)(de)(de)官(guan)員如此,這(zhe)世間無論尊貴的(de)(de)(de)王公(gong)貴族,卑(bei)殘(can)的(de)(de)(de)奴仆(pu)馬弁,族中的(de)(de)(de)親眷家(jia)屬,外界的(de)(de)(de)平民(min)百(bai)姓,都是(shi)(shi)互相欺誑,瞋(chen)恚愚癡。人(ren)(ren)們(men)都想自己占便宜,損(sun)他人(ren)(ren)而利己。為了貪(tan)婪攫(jue)取(qu),占有(you)更多的(de)(de)(de)利益,不(bu)惜(xi)以利相侵,互相算計謀害,由(you)此結(jie)下(xia)忿惱(nao),由(you)結(jie)忿惱(nao)又升格(ge)為仇恨,甚至(zhi)家(jia)破人(ren)(ren)亡,不(bu)顧前因后(hou)果(guo)的(de)(de)(de)報(bao)應(ying)法則。富有(you)者(zhe),慳吝(lin)貪(tan)惜(xi),不(bu)肯施舍與人(ren)(ren)。愛欲頑固(gu),貪(tan)心深(shen)重(zhong),終生(sheng)身心勞苦,就(jiu)這(zhe)樣一(yi)直到死(si)。到了死(si)時,財物又帶不(bu)走,沒有(you)一(yi)樣能拿到陰間。善(shan)(shan)惡(e)禍福平生(sheng)之(zhi)業(ye),卻追隨(sui)其人(ren)(ren)靈魂而到往(wang)生(sheng)處,或者(zhe)三善(shan)(shan)道,或者(zhe)三惡(e)道,總之(zhi),決不(bu)會放(fang)棄此人(ren)(ren)。

“再有(you)(you),或有(you)(you)見人(ren)之(zhi)善,不是想著(zhu)如何(he)去學習他,敬慕他,而是憎惡誹謗他,胸中(zhong)常懷(huai)侵(qin)奪之(zhi)心,希望損人(ren)利己,將他人(ren)之(zhi)財物供(gong)自己取用(yong),揮霍完了,又重(zhong)去盜(dao)取。當然(ran)逃不出神(shen)明(ming)的眼(yan)界,終將其人(ren)打入惡道,自然(ran)有(you)(you)三途惡道的無量苦(ku)惱(nao)等著(zhu)他,其人(ren)輾轉于三惡道中(zhong),曠劫(jie)長時也難以得出,其痛(tong)苦(ku)不堪言說。

“其三者,世(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾(zhong),由于(yu)相(xiang)互之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)的業(ye)(ye)因導果(guo)而出生于(yu)世(shi),壽命(ming)能(neng)有(you)多(duo)長?不(bu)良(liang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人(ren),身心不(bu)正(zheng),常懷邪惡狠毒(du)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心,常沉溺于(yu)淫欲放(fang)蕩(dang),煩懣(men)填塞胸中,淫邪放(fang)蕩(dang)流露(lu)于(yu)外表(biao),所(suo)作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)事不(bu)但耗費(fei)損(sun)失(shi)家中產(chan)業(ye)(ye),更因這(zhe)些事情不(bu)合法度甚而至(zhi)于(yu)違犯法律招(zhao)來(lai)惡報。應當為之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)追求(qiu)、為之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)奮斗的,他們(men)不(bu)愿去追求(qiu)去奮斗。又(you)有(you)的人(ren)拉幫結伙,興(xing)起爭戰,互相(xiang)攻(gong)伐,侵掠殺戮,武力脅迫,公然搶奪。將(jiang)以(yi)此(ci)種種獸行搶奪來(lai)的財(cai)物拿(na)去取悅于(yu)妻妾強人(ren),縱情于(yu)聲色,不(bu)知疲倦地(di)尋歡作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)樂。世(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾(zhong)對(dui)此(ci)憎惡討厭,為此(ci)使之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)遭受災禍和無(wu)邊痛(tong)(tong)苦(ku)。這(zhe)些作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)惡之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人(ren),雖現(xian)人(ren)形,卻(que)顯鬼魅的惡毒(du)。那明(ming)(ming)察人(ren)世(shi)的神明(ming)(ming)白會給他們(men)記上(shang)這(zhe)筆帳,以(yi)他們(men)自己此(ci)生作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)惡之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)因,將(jiang)其在(zai)來(lai)世(shi)轉生之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)時變為餓鬼畜生,墮入三惡道(dao),受到那無(wu)邊無(wu)量無(wu)窮無(wu)盡的苦(ku)痛(tong)(tong)折(zhe)磨(mo),其人(ren)輾轉于(yu)三惡道(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中,很多(duo)時劫也不(bu)能(neng)出來(lai),其痛(tong)(tong)苦(ku)難以(yi)言說。

“其(qi)四者,世(shi)間的(de)(de)人(ren)民不(bu)掛(gua)念(nian)著修善(shan)的(de)(de)事,卻撥弄是非,言辭(ci)粗(cu)鄙,假話(hua)(hua)大(da)話(hua)(hua),阿(a)諛(yu)逢迎,憎恨(hen)嫉(ji)妒善(shan)人(ren)的(de)(de)才德(de),敗壞賢(xian)明之人(ren)的(de)(de)名聲;不(bu)孝(xiao)敬(jing)(jing)順(shun)遂父(fu)母,不(bu)尊重而慢(man)待老師,朋友間不(bu)守信譽,難得以誠相待;驕傲自(zi)大(da),炫耀自(zi)己有(you)道(dao)行,橫行霸道(dao),仗勢欺人(ren),想讓大(da)眾對己產生(sheng)敬(jing)(jing)畏;不(bu)知羞慚,不(bu)自(zi)戒慎(shen),不(bu)聽(ting)勸慰,不(bu)服教(jiao)化,其(qi)心常懷自(zi)大(da)傲慢(man),僅依(yi)靠(kao)其(qi)前(qian)生(sheng)前(qian)世(shi)所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)積累的(de)(de)那點(dian)福德(de)的(de)(de)佑護(hu),才未馬上(shang)受(shou)難;于(yu)今(jin)生(sheng)今(jin)世(shi)作惡(e)多端,前(qian)世(shi)辛(xin)勤修得的(de)(de)福德(de)終歸消耗殆(dai)盡(jin)。其(qi)人(ren)終了(le)之時(shi),他(ta)所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)作的(de)(de)各種惡(e)業(ye)擁著他(ta)的(de)(de)魂魄去到(dao)冥世(shi),他(ta)的(de)(de)惡(e)名和所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)作的(de)(de)惡(e)業(ye),都登記在(zai)神明的(de)(de)檔(dang)案(an)里,其(qi)人(ren)被(bei)自(zi)身生(sheng)前(qian)所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)作之災惡(e)罪過所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)牽引(yin),沒有(you)辦法(fa)得以脫身,只好跟著前(qian)去,進(jin)入到(dao)獄火湯鑊之中(zhong),身心被(bei)摧毀破碎,精(jing)神肉體痛苦不(bu)堪。到(dao)了(le)這個時(shi)候,后悔也來不(bu)及(ji)了(le)。

“其五者,世間的(de)人(ren)民不(bu)(bu)思努力(li),留(liu)連于松懈懶惰,不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)(ken)(ken)作(zuo)善舉好事,也不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)(ken)(ken)修(xiu)身養性,不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)敬業樂群。父(fu)(fu)母(mu)(mu)(mu)教(jiao)誨兒女(nv)(nv)(nv),兒女(nv)(nv)(nv)違背忤逆,就好像是(shi)冤家對(dui)頭。有(you)這樣的(de)兒女(nv)(nv)(nv)還不(bu)(bu)如沒(mei)有(you)。如此兒女(nv)(nv)(nv),辜負父(fu)(fu)母(mu)(mu)(mu)養育之(zhi)恩(en),違背孝(xiao)敬長(chang)輩的(de)世間禮儀,對(dui)父(fu)(fu)母(mu)(mu)(mu)的(de)恩(en)德全無(wu)一(yi)點報答(da)之(zhi)情。有(you)的(de)人(ren)放(fang)蕩自縱,游樂散漫,好酒貪杯(bei),嗜愛美味(wei),無(wu)知(zhi)無(wu)識,專橫跋扈,心(xin)(xin)無(wu)遠見,冥行妄作(zuo),不(bu)(bu)懂得人(ren)情世故(gu),不(bu)(bu)懂得仁(ren)義禮貌.對(dui)其規勸(quan)告(gao)誡也沒(mei)有(you)用。有(you)的(de)人(ren)對(dui)父(fu)(fu)母(mu)(mu)(mu)姊(zi)妹;親戚(qi)眷屬(shu)的(de)生(sheng)(sheng)活困(kun)難全然(ran)不(bu)(bu)顧,不(bu)(bu)考(kao)慮父(fu)(fu)母(mu)(mu)(mu)之(zhi)恩(en),不(bu)(bu)考(kao)慮老(lao)師朋(peng)友(you)情義,心(xin)(xin)常念惡(e),口常言惡(e),身常行惡(e),三業之(zhi)中(zhong)一(yi)無(wu)是(shi)處(chu),無(wu)善可言。不(bu)(bu)信仰諸佛的(de)經言法教(jiao),不(bu)(bu)相(xiang)信生(sheng)(sheng)死(si)因果,善惡(e)有(you)報。欲想殺害阿羅漢,離間僧(seng)眾使(shi)之(zhi)爭斗,蒙昧無(wu)知(zhi),反而(er)自以為聰明。不(bu)(bu)知(zhi)道(dao)生(sheng)(sheng)從何處(chu)而(er)來(lai),死(si)后又去到何方(fang),待人(ren)接物(wu),不(bu)(bu)知(zhi)仁(ren)愛和順,癡心(xin)(xin)妄想于長(chang)生(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)(bu)老(lao)。對(dui)慈悲之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)的(de)教(jiao)誨不(bu)(bu)肯(ken)(ken)(ken)相(xiang)信;對(dui)苦口婆心(xin)(xin)的(de)勸(quan)勉之(zhi)話;無(wu)動于衷。上述人(ren)等心(xin)(xin)中(zhong)因癡愚而(er)黑暗不(bu)(bu)明,對(dui)善意良言不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)開悟理(li)解。生(sheng)(sheng)命將要(yao)終了之(zhi)時(shi),后悔恐懼交相(xiang)產生(sheng)(sheng)。不(bu)(bu)預先修(xiu)善,死(si)到臨頭方(fang)生(sheng)(sheng)后悔,可為時(shi)已晚,再后悔也來(lai)不(bu)(bu)及了。

“在天地(di)中間,天、人(ren)(ren)、餓(e)鬼、畜生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)、地(di)獄五道生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死流轉,其(qi)善(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)因果報(bao)應不(bu)爽是(shi)明擺著的事(shi)。行(xing)善(shan)(shan)作惡(e)(e)各有(you)(you)報(bao)應相(xiang)(xiang)隨,禍受(shou)之于惡(e)(e),福受(shou)之于善(shan)(shan),是(shi)禍是(shi)福,均由其(qi)本人(ren)(ren)自己來(lai)承當,他人(ren)(ren)無可替(ti)代,善(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)行(xing)善(shan)(shan)事(shi),今(jin)世(shi)(shi)樂施好善(shan)(shan),來(lai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入(ru)富樂人(ren)(ren)家;今(jin)世(shi)(shi)勤修福慧(hui),來(lai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入(ru)賢達人(ren)(ren)家;惡(e)(e)人(ren)(ren)作惡(e)(e)事(shi),今(jin)世(shi)(shi)使人(ren)(ren)痛苦(ku),來(lai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入(ru)窮苦(ku)人(ren)(ren)家;今(jin)世(shi)(shi)癡(chi)愚,來(lai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)還入(ru)癡(chi)愚人(ren)(ren)家。這(zhe)(zhe)其(qi)中的道理有(you)(you)誰能知?唯獨只有(you)(you)佛能知能曉。佛說的教導人(ren)(ren)眾的方(fang)法,所開示(shi)的真實之相(xiang)(xiang),信(xin)受(shou)不(bu)移(yi)而依(yi)此篤行(xing)的人(ren)(ren)極少極少。所以(yi)世(shi)(shi)間生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死輪(lun)回永(yong)不(bu)停止,墮(duo)于三惡(e)(e)道之路的人(ren)(ren)眾不(bu)能斷絕。像這(zhe)(zhe)樣的世(shi)(shi)間凡夫俗子,難以(yi)全部都度脫完(wan)畢,所以(yi)才(cai)有(you)(you)三惡(e)(e)道無量苦(ku)惱,讓這(zhe)(zhe)樣的凡夫俗子輾轉于其(qi)中,生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)世(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi),曠劫而不(bu)能得(de)出,解(jie)脫生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死的希望無從感(gan)受(shou),痛苦(ku)難以(yi)言說。

“像(xiang)這樣(yang)的(de)五(wu)惡、五(wu)痛(tong)、五(wu)燒,猶如大火焚燒人身(shen),若(ruo)有人能(neng)在火燒之中,專一其心,制止(zhi)意(yi)業發生,端正其行為思想,言行一致,誠(cheng)(cheng)心誠(cheng)(cheng)意(yi),不(bu)管世間(jian)濁穢如何,獨(du)作善事,不(bu)作各(ge)種惡事,其人之身(shen)便獨(du)得度(du)脫,獲得他(ta)行善報(bao)應的(de)福德,可得以在無(wu)生無(wu)滅的(de)涅盤(pan)境界(jie)中長生。這就是(shi)五(wu)大善。”

【原文】佛告彌勒(le):吾語汝等,如是(shi)五惡(e)(e)、五痛、五燒,輾轉相生。敢有犯此,當(dang)(dang)歷(li)惡(e)(e)趣。或其(qi)今世(shi),先被病殃,死生不得(de),示眾見之。或于壽終,入三(san)惡(e)(e)道(dao)。愁痛酷毒,自(zi)(zi)(zi)相燋然。共其(qi)怨(yuan)家(jia),更相殺傷。從小微起,成(cheng)大困(kun)劇。皆由貪著財色,不肯施惠(hui)。各欲自(zi)(zi)(zi)快,無復(fu)曲直(zhi)。癡欲所迫,厚己爭利。富貴榮華,當(dang)(dang)時快意(yi)。不能忍辱,不務修善(shan)。威勢無幾,隨(sui)以磨滅。天道(dao)施張,自(zi)(zi)(zi)然糾舉,煢煢忪忪,當(dang)(dang)入其(qi)中。古(gu)今有是(shi),痛哉可傷!汝等得(de)佛經語,熟思(si)惟(wei)之。各自(zi)(zi)(zi)端守,終身(shen)不怠。尊圣(sheng)敬善(shan),仁慈(ci)博愛(ai)。當(dang)(dang)求度世(shi),拔斷生死眾惡(e)(e)之本。當(dang)(dang)離三(san)途(tu),憂怖(bu)苦痛之道(dao)。若曹(cao)作(zuo)善(shan),云何第(di)一(yi)?當(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)(zi)端心,當(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)(zi)端身(shen)。耳目口鼻,皆當(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)(zi)端。身(shen)心凈(jing)潔(jie),與善(shan)相應。勿隨(sui)嗜欲,不犯諸惡(e)(e)。言色當(dang)(dang)和,身(shen)行(xing)當(dang)(dang)專(zhuan)。動作(zuo)瞻視,安定徐為。作(zuo)事倉卒,敗悔在后(hou)。為之不諦,亡其(qi)功夫。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼佛對(dui)彌(mi)勒說:“我告訴了你們這個五(wu)惡(e)、五(wu)痛(tong)、五(wu)燒輾轉相(xiang)生(sheng)因果輪回的(de)(de)道(dao)理。若還有人(ren)(ren)(ren)敢(gan)于犯(fan)此五(wu)惡(e),必當遭到惡(e)果所(suo)報(bao),或(huo)者其人(ren)(ren)(ren)今世就得現報(bao),先被病(bing)惡(e)禍及,痛(tong)苦不堪(kan),求生(sheng)不得,求死不能,讓大(da)眾都(dou)得見這惡(e)行惡(e)報(bao)的(de)(de)下場。或(huo)者其人(ren)(ren)(ren)在(zai)壽終之后,墮入三惡(e)趣(qu)中,憂愁痛(tong)苦,酷(ku)刑荼毒(du),自業之火(huo),炙灼自身;與他在(zai)生(sheng)之世結的(de)(de)冤家對(dui)頭共處一地(di),互(hu)相(xiang)傷害殘殺,從很小的(de)(de)摩擦開(kai)始(shi),愈演愈烈(lie),最終釀成重災(zai)大(da)禍。

“上述兩種惡(e)報都(dou)是由(you)于生(sheng)之(zhi)世(shi)貪得無厭,積斂錢(qian)財(cai)(cai),無羞無恥,沉溺(ni)色(se)情,不肯以財(cai)(cai)物(wu)布施窮人,只(zhi)(zhi)求自(zi)己快(kuai)樂和欲(yu)望得到滿足(zu),不管所(suo)行之(zhi)事(shi)的(de)是非曲直(zhi)。由(you)癡欲(yu)貪婪之(zhi)心所(suo)迫使,損人利己,不擇手段與人爭利,爭得的(de)富貴榮華,只(zhi)(zhi)是一時(shi)的(de)快(kuai)意,不愿(yuan)忍辱修(xiu)習,不能修(xiu)善積德,威風權勢(shi)沒有幾天(tian)長久,隨即(ji)便磨滅殆盡。天(tian)理昭然,自(zi)會觀察審視(shi)到其人所(suo)為(wei)。其人自(zi)感罪行敗(bai)露,驚惶失措,將孤獨地墮入惡(e)道之(zhi)中。從古到今有不少這方(fang)面(mian)的(de)例子。痛心啊,真使人痛心!

“你們聽我說(shuo)了(le)這些法教,應(ying)(ying)對這其中道理深思熟慮,各自端守(shou)奉(feng)行教法,終身不要(yao)有片刻懈怠。尊重阿羅漢(han)等(deng)修(xiu)(xiu)行人,敬(jing)愛行善好施的(de)大(da)居士,仁義(yi)慈(ci)悲,博愛眾生,當(dang)(dang)求(qiu)濟度世間有情之道,拔(ba)除斷滅生死和各種惡的(de)根(gen)源(yuan)。如這樣作,則必將(jiang)脫離三惡道的(de)憂愁(chou)、恐怖、苦痛。你們作善事,首(shou)先得作什么?首(shou)先應(ying)(ying)當(dang)(dang)自行端正身心(xin),端正耳、目(mu)、口、鼻。身心(xin)潔凈,與(yu)善便可相照應(ying)(ying)。不要(yao)順逐嗜好欲望,不要(yao)造下諸種惡業,語(yu)言(yan)面容應(ying)(ying)當(dang)(dang)溫柔和藹,自身及(ji)行為(wei)應(ying)(ying)當(dang)(dang)專(zhuan)誠瑞正。一(yi)舉(ju)一(yi)動,一(yi)言(yan)一(yi)行,都(dou)應(ying)(ying)當(dang)(dang)安祥(xiang)沉靜,從容不迫(po)。作事倉卒慌(huang)忙,必將(jiang)失敗(bai)與(yu)后悔(hui),一(yi)招(zhao)不慎,便會喪失其修(xiu)(xiu)習了(le)許(xu)久的(de)功(gong)夫德行。”

如(ru)貧得寶第三十七

【原文】汝(ru)等(deng)(deng)廣(guang)植(zhi)德本,勿犯道禁(jin)。忍辱精(jing)進,慈心專一。齋戒清凈,一日一夜(ye),勝在(zai)無(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)國(guo)(guo)為(wei)(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)百歲。所(suo)(suo)以者何?彼佛(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)土,皆積德眾善(shan)(shan)(shan),無(wu)(wu)毫(hao)發之(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)。于此修善(shan)(shan)(shan),十日十夜(ye),勝于他(ta)(ta)方(fang)諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)中,為(wei)(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)千歲。所(suo)(suo)以者何?他(ta)(ta)方(fang)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo),福德自(zi)(zi)然(ran),無(wu)(wu)造惡(e)之(zhi)(zhi)地。唯此世(shi)間(jian),善(shan)(shan)(shan)少惡(e)多,飲苦食毒(du),未(wei)嘗(chang)寧(ning)息。吾哀汝(ru)等(deng)(deng),苦心誨(hui)(hui)喻(yu),授與經法。悉持(chi)思之(zhi)(zhi),悉奉(feng)行(xing)之(zhi)(zhi)。尊卑、男(nan)女、眷屬、朋友,轉(zhuan)相教語,自(zi)(zi)相約檢(jian)。和順(shun)義理(li),歡樂慈孝。所(suo)(suo)作如(ru)犯,則(ze)自(zi)(zi)悔過。去惡(e)就善(shan)(shan)(shan),朝聞夕改。奉(feng)持(chi)經戒,如(ru)貧(pin)得(de)寶。改往(wang)修來,洗(xi)心易(yi)行(xing)。自(zi)(zi)然(ran)感降,所(suo)(suo)愿輒得(de)。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)所(suo)(suo)行(xing)處,國(guo)(guo)邑丘聚,靡不(bu)蒙(meng)化(hua)。天下和順(shun),日月清明(ming)。風雨(yu)以時,災厲不(bu)起。國(guo)(guo)豐民(min)(min)安,兵戈無(wu)(wu)用。崇德興仁(ren),務修禮讓。國(guo)(guo)無(wu)(wu)盜賊,無(wu)(wu)有怨(yuan)枉。強不(bu)凌弱(ruo),各得(de)其所(suo)(suo)。我(wo)哀汝(ru)等(deng)(deng),甚于父母念子。我(wo)于此世(shi)作佛(fo)(fo)(fo),以善(shan)(shan)(shan)攻惡(e),拔生死之(zhi)(zhi)苦。令獲(huo)五德,升無(wu)(wu)為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)安。吾般泥(ni)洹,經道漸滅(mie)。人民(min)(min)諂偽,復為(wei)(wei)眾惡(e)。五燒(shao)五痛(tong),久(jiu)后轉(zhuan)劇。汝(ru)等(deng)(deng)轉(zhuan)相教誡,如(ru)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)經法,無(wu)(wu)得(de)犯也。彌(mi)勒菩薩,合掌(zhang)白言:世(shi)人惡(e)苦,如(ru)是如(ru)是。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)皆慈哀,悉度(du)脫之(zhi)(zhi)。受佛(fo)(fo)(fo)重誨(hui)(hui),不(bu)敢違失。

【譯文】你們應當廣修(xiu)六(liu)度,培植功德(de)(de)之(zhi)(zhi)本,不要違犯了戒禁紀律(lv)。一(yi)定要忍辱精進,用心專一(yi)。守齋(zhai)(zhai)持戒,務使身(shen)心清凈。若能在此穢土守齋(zhai)(zhai)持戒一(yi)天一(yi)夜(ye)(ye),所獲的(de)功德(de)(de)勝過在無量壽國(guo)里作(zuo)一(yi)百(bai)年的(de)善行義舉。為(wei)(wei)什(shen)么呢(ni)?那西方(fang)極樂世(shi)界都是各種福德(de)(de)善事(shi)積累而成(cheng),沒有哪怕是如毫毛頭發的(de)一(yi)絲(si)惡(e)念。在我(wo)們這(zhe)娑婆(po)世(shi)界修(xiu)善十(shi)天十(shi)夜(ye)(ye),勝過在其他(ta)諸佛(fo)國(guo)中修(xiu)善千年。為(wei)(wei)什(shen)么呢(ni)?其他(ta)的(de)佛(fo)國(guo)天然有佛(fo)德(de)(de),沒有造成(cheng)惡(e)業的(de)余(yu)地。不像我(wo)們這(zhe)世(shi)間(jian),善少惡(e)多,飲苦水,吃毒(du)食,終無休(xiu)止之(zhi)(zhi)期(qi)。

我為(wei)你們眾生悲哀,所(suo)(suo)以才(cai)苦(ku)口婆(po)心(xin)地加以教(jiao)(jiao)導,翻來復去(qu)的給出譬喻,一心(xin)要教(jiao)(jiao)給你們經法,令你們受(shou)持思(si)考,如(ru)教(jiao)(jiao)奉行(xing)。對達官顯貴(gui)和奴仆(pu)百姓,對男人和女人,對親戚眷屬,對朋友同事,轉(zhuan)述我教(jiao)(jiao)導的這些話,務必要自(zi)(zi)行(xing)檢(jian)查約束,使(shi)言行(xing)舉止合順于(yu)理義,歡喜(xi)安(an)樂于(yu)慈愛(ai)兒女、孝敬父母。所(suo)(suo)作所(suo)(suo)為(wei)如(ru)有(you)違犯經戒的地方(fang),則自(zi)(zi)行(xing)改(gai)過(guo)。離去(qu)惡而靠近善,早上知道了(le)正(zheng)(zheng)確的道理,下午就改(gai)正(zheng)(zheng)過(guo)來。奉持經戒,如(ru)同窮(qiong)人得到珍寶,改(gai)正(zheng)(zheng)以往的惡,修行(xing)未來的善,洗除心(xin)中的污(wu)垢,變易自(zi)(zi)己的行(xing)為(wei),自(zi)(zi)然(ran)感應到佛力加持,凡所(suo)(suo)求(qiu)愿,都(dou)能(neng)圓滿(man)。

佛所(suo)(suo)到之(zhi)處,大到國(guo)(guo)家,小(xiao)到鄉邑,凡眾生(sheng)聚(ju)居(ju)之(zhi)處,沒有一地不(bu)蒙受(shou)教化(hua),也(ye)沒有一處不(bu)呈現祥和太平(ping)。萬邦和睦,日(ri)月清明,風(feng)調雨(yu)順,災害不(bu)起,瘟疫不(bu)行;國(guo)(guo)家豐足,人(ren)民安樂;刀槍入庫(ku),尊崇道德(de);興施仁政(zheng),宣傳禮(li)讓;國(guo)(guo)無盜(dao)賊,世(shi)無怨枉;強者不(bu)欺凌(ling)弱者,人(ren)人(ren)都(dou)各(ge)得其所(suo)(suo)。

我(wo)憐憫你們(men)罪苦(ku)眾生(sheng)(sheng),勝過父母慈愛兒女。我(wo)在此五(wu)濁(zhuo)惡(e)世上(shang)作佛(fo)(fo);用善德來攻破惡(e)行。拔除(chu)有情生(sheng)(sheng)死之(zhi)苦(ku),使眾生(sheng)(sheng)獲得“五(wu)德”,升至無為(wei)無礙(ai)的(de)(de)(de)常樂心境。我(wo)圓寂(ji)后,經(jing)(jing)法佛(fo)(fo)道將逐(zhu)漸泯滅,那時候,人心諂邪狡詐,重新(xin)作惡(e),五(wu)燒五(wu)痛,越來越劇,你們(men)應(ying)當由我(wo)佛(fo)(fo)法的(de)(de)(de)弟子轉為(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)導世人的(de)(de)(de)老師,不(bu)(bu)倦(juan)地教(jiao)(jiao)誡眾生(sheng)(sheng),引導眾生(sheng)(sheng)。你們(men)記(ji)住,對(dui)于佛(fo)(fo)所留下的(de)(de)(de)經(jing)(jing)法,一(yi)定不(bu)(bu)要違犯。

彌(mi)勒菩薩合掌致謝禮,贊嘆(tan)道:世間(jian)人(ren)類的惡與苦,如佛所說這樣(yang)大、這樣(yang)深(shen),佛皆慈哀世間(jian)惡人(ren),不(bu)計其惡而全部度(du)脫。我等受佛深(shen)刻(ke)的教(jiao)誨,不(bu)敢(gan)違犯忘失。

禮佛現光第三十八

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)告阿(a)(a)(a)難(nan):若(ruo)曹欲(yu)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)無(wu)量(liang)清(qing)凈(jing)平等覺,及(ji)諸(zhu)菩(pu)薩(sa)、阿(a)(a)(a)羅漢等所(suo)居國土,應(ying)起西(xi)向(xiang),當日沒處,恭敬頂禮,稱念南無(wu)阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)。阿(a)(a)(a)難(nan)即從座(zuo)(zuo)起,面西(xi)合掌,頂禮白言(yan):我(wo)今愿見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)極樂世界(jie)(jie)(jie)阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),供(gong)養(yang)奉事,種諸(zhu)善根。頂禮之(zhi)間,忽見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),容顏廣大(da)(da)(da),色相(xiang)端嚴(yan)。如(ru)(ru)黃(huang)金(jin)山(shan)(shan),高(gao)出(chu)一(yi)切諸(zhu)世界(jie)(jie)(jie)上(shang)。又(you)聞十方世界(jie)(jie)(jie),諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)如(ru)(ru)來,稱揚贊嘆阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)種種功(gong)德(de)(de),無(wu)礙無(wu)斷。阿(a)(a)(a)難(nan)白言(yan):彼(bi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)凈(jing)剎得未(wei)曾(ceng)有(you)(you)(you),我(wo)亦愿樂生(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)(yu)彼(bi)土。世尊告言(yan):其(qi)中生(sheng)(sheng)者,已曾(ceng)親近無(wu)量(liang)諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),植眾德(de)(de)本。汝欲(yu)生(sheng)(sheng)彼(bi),應(ying)當一(yi)心歸依瞻仰。作是(shi)(shi)語(yu)時(shi),阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)即于(yu)(yu)掌中放無(wu)量(liang)光(guang),普(pu)照(zhao)一(yi)切諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)世界(jie)(jie)(jie)。時(shi)諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)國,皆(jie)(jie)悉(xi)明現(xian),如(ru)(ru)處一(yi)尋(xun)。以(yi)(yi)阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)殊勝光(guang)明,極清(qing)凈(jing)故(gu),于(yu)(yu)此(ci)(ci)世界(jie)(jie)(jie)所(suo)有(you)(you)(you)黑山(shan)(shan)、雪山(shan)(shan)、金(jin)剛、鐵圍大(da)(da)(da)小諸(zhu)山(shan)(shan),江(jiang)河叢(cong)林,天人宮殿,一(yi)切境(jing)界(jie)(jie)(jie),無(wu)不(bu)(bu)照(zhao)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。譬如(ru)(ru)日出(chu),明照(zhao)世間。乃至泥(ni)犁、溪谷,幽冥之(zhi)處,悉(xi)大(da)(da)(da)開(kai)辟,皆(jie)(jie)同(tong)一(yi)色。猶如(ru)(ru)劫(jie)水(shui)彌滿(man)世界(jie)(jie)(jie),其(qi)中萬(wan)物(wu),沉(chen)沒不(bu)(bu)現(xian),滉漾浩(hao)汗,唯見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)大(da)(da)(da)水(shui)。彼(bi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)光(guang)明,亦復(fu)如(ru)(ru)是(shi)(shi)。聲聞、菩(pu)薩(sa)一(yi)切光(guang)明,悉(xi)皆(jie)(jie)隱蔽,唯見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)光(guang),明耀顯赫(he)。此(ci)(ci)會(hui)四眾、天龍八部、人非人等,皆(jie)(jie)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)極樂世界(jie)(jie)(jie),種種莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)。阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),于(yu)(yu)彼(bi)高(gao)座(zuo)(zuo),威德(de)(de)巍巍,相(xiang)好光(guang)明,聲聞、菩(pu)薩(sa),圍繞恭敬。譬如(ru)(ru)須彌山(shan)(shan)王,出(chu)于(yu)(yu)海(hai)面。明現(xian)照(zhao)耀,清(qing)凈(jing)平正。無(wu)有(you)(you)(you)雜穢,及(ji)異形類。唯是(shi)(shi)眾寶莊(zhuang)嚴(yan),圣(sheng)賢共住。阿(a)(a)(a)難(nan)及(ji)諸(zhu)菩(pu)薩(sa)眾等,皆(jie)(jie)大(da)(da)(da)歡喜,踴(yong)躍作禮,以(yi)(yi)頭(tou)著地,稱念南無(wu)阿(a)(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)三藐三佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)陀(tuo)。諸(zhu)天人民(min)(min),以(yi)(yi)至蜎飛蠕動,睹斯(si)光(guang)者,所(suo)有(you)(you)(you)疾苦,莫(mo)不(bu)(bu)休止,一(yi)切憂惱,莫(mo)不(bu)(bu)解脫。悉(xi)皆(jie)(jie)慈心作善,歡喜快樂。鐘磬、琴(qin)瑟、箜(kong)篌樂器(qi),不(bu)(bu)鼓自然皆(jie)(jie)作五(wu)音(yin)。諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)國中,諸(zhu)天人民(min)(min),各持花香,來于(yu)(yu)虛空,散(san)作供(gong)養(yang)。爾時(shi)極樂世界(jie)(jie)(jie),過于(yu)(yu)西(xi)方百千俱胝那(nei)由他國,以(yi)(yi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)威力,如(ru)(ru)對目前,如(ru)(ru)凈(jing)天眼,觀一(yi)尋(xun)地。彼(bi)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)此(ci)(ci)土,亦復(fu)如(ru)(ru)是(shi)(shi)。悉(xi)睹娑(suo)婆世界(jie)(jie)(jie),釋迦如(ru)(ru)來,及(ji)比丘眾,圍繞說(shuo)法。

【譯文】釋(shi)加(jia)牟尼佛告誡阿(a)難說:“你(ni)們如果想見無量壽佛以及西(xi)方(fang)極樂世界諸菩薩、阿(a)羅(luo)漢(han)等所居住(zhu)的(de)凈土,應(ying)起(qi)立面(mian)向西(xi)方(fang),即對日落之處,恭敬地(di)行(xing)禮(li),稱念南無阿(a)彌(mi)陀佛。”

阿(a)(a)難即刻從座位上站起(qi)來,面(mian)向西方;合掌行禮(li)而發愿道:我現在愿見極(ji)樂世界的(de)阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo),供養伺奉阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo),并以(yi)此積(ji)累福(fu)德(de)。正行禮(li)之間(jian),忽見阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)。阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)臉面(mian)極(ji)其(qi)廣(guang)大,面(mian)容相貌端莊威嚴,如黃金的(de)山(shan),高高地(di)(di)出(chu)現在一切諸世界上空,又聽(ting)聞到十方世界的(de)諸佛(fo)如來,都在稱揚(yang)贊嘆阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)的(de)種(zhong)種(zhong)功德(de),天地(di)(di)之間(jian)無處(chu)不(bu)回(hui)響著這美好的(de)聲音(yin),久(jiu)久(jiu)不(bu)斷。”

阿(a)難稟白說:“今見西(xi)(xi)方(fang)極樂世(shi)界,得見所未(wei)見,聞所未(wei)聞的(de)奇跡,我也愿意(yi)高興地(di)往(wang)生(sheng)于(yu)那(nei)里(li)。”世(shi)尊告訴他說:“西(xi)(xi)方(fang)極樂世(shi)界的(de)往(wang)生(sheng)者,過去曾供養伺奉無量(liang)諸佛(fo),積累了(le)各種福德善(shan)根,你想往(wang)生(sheng)那(nei)里(li),就應當(dang)一(yi)心一(yi)意(yi)地(di)歸依和瞻仰(yang)阿(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)。”

說這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)話的(de)(de)時候,阿(a)(a)彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛(fo)即在(zai)手掌中(zhong)(zhong)放出(chu)無(wu)量的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang),普照(zhao)(zhao)一切(qie)諸(zhu)佛(fo)世(shi)界。這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)時候,諸(zhu)佛(fo)國皆全部顯(xian)現(xian)出(chu)來,只在(zai)咫尺之間。因為(wei)阿(a)(a)彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛(fo)無(wu)比的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)明(ming)極(ji)其清凈的(de)(de)緣故(gu),把這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)世(shi)界所有的(de)(de)黑山(shan)、雪山(shan)、金剛山(shan)、鐵圍山(shan)等大(da)大(da)小(xiao)小(xiao)的(de)(de)山(shan),把這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)世(shi)界所有的(de)(de)江河、叢林、天人宮殿等等一切(qie)境界,全都照(zhao)(zhao)現(xian)出(chu)來。譬如太陽升起(qi)在(zai)空中(zhong)(zhong),光(guang)(guang)明(ming)普照(zhao)(zhao)世(shi)間,乃至(zhi)照(zhao)(zhao)遍(bian)地獄(yu)、溪谷等幽(you)暗之處。這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)些(xie)幽(you)暗之處全都開明(ming)盡(jin)現(xian),世(shi)上一切(qie)事物(wu)無(wu)不顯(xian)出(chu)金色(se)光(guang)(guang)芒(mang)。猶如劫水彌(mi)漫于世(shi)界,其中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)萬(wan)物(wu)沉沒不現(xian),無(wu)邊無(wu)際唯見(jian)大(da)水。阿(a)(a)彌(mi)陀(tuo)佛(fo)的(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)明(ming)亦是這(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)樣。聲聞、菩薩的(de)(de)一切(qie)光(guang)(guang)明(ming),全都隱蔽不現(xian),惟見(jian)佛(fo)光(guang)(guang)明(ming)耀顯(xian)赫。

在(zai)(zai)此聚會的(de)四(si)眾弟子(zi),天龍八部、人非(fei)人等,都(dou)親眼(yan)看見(jian)了(le)極樂世界的(de)種(zhong)種(zhong)莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)之象(xiang)。阿(a)彌(mi)陀(tuo)(tuo)佛(fo)坐(zuo)在(zai)(zai)他(ta)的(de)高座上(shang),威(wei)嚴(yan)肅穆,功德(de)巍巍,瑞相光明,與天地(di)(di)齊。聲聞(wen)、菩(pu)薩弟子(zi)恭恭敬(jing)敬(jing)地(di)(di)圍(wei)繞在(zai)(zai)他(ta)身邊。譬如須彌(mi)山王(wang)升起于(yu)海(hai)面,光明照耀,清凈安穩(wen),沒(mei)有(you)雜染(ran)污穢,以及(ji)異(yi)形物類,只(zhi)有(you)各(ge)種(zhong)寶(bao)物莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)修飾,只(zhi)有(you)圣(sheng)人與賢者相居共住。阿(a)難(nan)及(ji)諸菩(pu)薩眾等皆心生大(da)歡喜(xi),歡呼雀躍,五體投地(di)(di)恭行大(da)禮(li),口中稱念南無阿(a)彌(mi)陀(tuo)(tuo)佛(fo)。

諸(zhu)天(tian)界人(ren)(ren)(ren)民,以(yi)(yi)至飛(fei)蠅爬蟲,凡見(jian)到阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)光(guang)明(ming)者,所有的(de)(de)(de)疾病痛(tong)苦(ku),莫(mo)不(bu)消(xiao)失,一(yi)切的(de)(de)(de)憂愁煩惱,無(wu)不(bu)解(jie)脫。人(ren)(ren)(ren)人(ren)(ren)(ren)都生發出慈善之(zhi)心(xin),人(ren)(ren)(ren)人(ren)(ren)(ren)都感到歡喜(xi)快(kuai)樂(le)。鐘磬琴瑟、箜篌樂(le)器,不(bu)鼓(gu)不(bu)彈不(bu)吹不(bu)奏便自(zi)然地發出音樂(le)。諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)國(guo)中諸(zhu)天(tian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)民各(ge)各(ge)手持鮮花、供(gong)香,來到虛(xu)空之(zhi)中散(san)下,以(yi)(yi)此(ci)供(gong)養佛(fo)(fo)世尊。那時,極樂(le)世界雖遠在(zai)西方百千(qian)俱胝那由他國(guo)度之(zhi)外,以(yi)(yi)佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)威力現出奇跡,如在(zai)眼前(qian)對面。又如同以(yi)(yi)天(tian)眼觀看咫尺(chi)以(yi)(yi)外的(de)(de)(de)地方,自(zi)然無(wu)不(bu)清(qing)(qing)(qing)晰(xi)明(ming)見(jian)。極樂(le)世界上的(de)(de)(de)圣(sheng)眾看娑(suo)婆(po)世界也同娑(suo)婆(po)世異眾生看他們(men)一(yi)樣清(qing)(qing)(qing)晰(xi)明(ming)白,他們(men)又都能(neng)看到娑(suo)婆(po)世界上的(de)(de)(de)釋(shi)迦牟尼佛(fo)(fo),以(yi)(yi)及(ji)眾比(bi)丘。眾比(bi)丘圍繞釋(shi)迦如來,正(zheng)在(zai)演說此(ci)《大乘無(wu)量(liang)壽莊嚴清(qing)(qing)(qing)凈平等覺經》。

慈氏述見第三十九

【原文】爾時佛(fo)告(gao)阿(a)難(nan)(nan),及(ji)慈(ci)氏菩(pu)薩:汝(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)極(ji)樂世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie),宮(gong)殿(dian)(dian)樓閣,泉池林樹(shu),具足微妙清凈莊嚴(yan)否(fou)?汝(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)欲界(jie)(jie)諸(zhu)天(tian),上至色究竟天(tian),雨諸(zhu)香華,遍佛(fo)剎(cha)否(fou)?阿(a)難(nan)(nan)對曰:唯然已見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。汝(ru)聞阿(a)彌陀佛(fo)大音宣布一(yi)切世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie),化(hua)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)否(fou)?阿(a)難(nan)(nan)對曰:唯然已聞。佛(fo)言:汝(ru)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)彼國(guo)凈行之眾(zhong)(zhong),游處(chu)虛空(kong),宮(gong)殿(dian)(dian)隨身,無所障礙,遍至十方供養諸(zhu)佛(fo)否(fou)?及(ji)見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)彼等念(nian)佛(fo)相續否(fou)?復有眾(zhong)(zhong)鳥(niao)住虛空(kong)界(jie)(jie),出種種音,皆是化(hua)作,汝(ru)悉見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)否(fou)?慈(ci)氏白言:如(ru)(ru)佛(fo)所說,一(yi)一(yi)皆見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。佛(fo)告(gao)彌勒(le)(le):彼國(guo)人(ren)民有胎(tai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,汝(ru)復見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)否(fou)?彌勒(le)(le)白言:世(shi)(shi)尊,我見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)極(ji)樂世(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)人(ren)住胎(tai)者,如(ru)(ru)夜(ye)摩天(tian),處(chu)于宮(gong)殿(dian)(dian)。又見(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),于蓮華內結(jie)跏(jia)趺(fu)坐,自(zi)然化(hua)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。何因緣故,彼國(guo)人(ren)民,有胎(tai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,有化(hua)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者?

【譯文】那(nei)時(shi)候,釋迦牟尼問阿(a)難以及慈氏(shi)菩薩道:“你(ni)們看(kan)見極樂世界(jie)的宮殿、樓閣、泉池、林樹(shu)是否(fou)十(shi)(shi)分(fen)微妙(miao)和清(qing)凈莊嚴?你(ni)們看(kan)見欲界(jie)諸天(tian),上至(zhi)色究竟天(tian),降香花(hua)之雨,那(nei)花(hua)遍散十(shi)(shi)方佛國(guo)凈土了嗎?”

阿(a)難回答說:“都(dou)看見(jian)了。”

釋迦牟尼佛又問(wen):“你們聽到(dao)阿彌陀佛以他宏(hong)大的聲音宣布,他將于一(yi)切(qie)世界來化度眾生了(le)嗎?”

阿難回答說(shuo):“都聽(ting)到了。”

釋迦牟尼佛(fo)又(you)說(shuo):“你(ni)們(men)(men)看(kan)(kan)(kan)見極樂(le)世界(jie)(jie)清凈修行的圣眾(zhong)遨(ao)游虛空之(zhi)中(zhong)了嗎?他們(men)(men)所居的宮殿隨在身后,他們(men)(men)飛到(dao)哪兒宮殿也跟到(dao)哪兒,竟然沒(mei)有任何障礙。你(ni)們(men)(men)看(kan)(kan)(kan)見他們(men)(men)如此這般地飛遍十方世界(jie)(jie)去供(gong)養諸佛(fo)了嗎?你(ni)們(men)(men)看(kan)(kan)(kan)到(dao)他們(men)(men)在不斷念佛(fo)嗎?各種(zhong)鳥在虛空中(zhong)啼叫,發出種(zhong)種(zhong)聲音,都(dou)是阿(a)彌(mi)陀佛(fo)的變化(hua)所為,你(ni)們(men)(men)全看(kan)(kan)(kan)出來了嗎?”

彌勒菩薩(sa)答道:“如(ru)佛所說,我(wo)們(men)都(dou)一一看(kan)見了。”

釋迦(jia)牟尼佛(fo)又向彌(mi)勒菩薩發問道:“西(xi)方極樂世界的(de)人民中(zhong)暫的(de)是胎生的(de),你(ni)看清楚了(le)嗎?”

彌勒菩薩回答說:“世(shi)尊,我看見極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)有胎生(sheng)的人,猶如夜(ye)摩天人在宮殿(dian)中(zhong)。又(you)還看見眾(zhong)生(sheng)于蓮花內結跏跌坐而自然化(hua)生(sheng)。但這是什么因緣造成西方極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)有胎生(sheng)者(zhe)和化(hua)生(sheng)者(zhe)兩種眾(zhong)生(sheng)的呢(ni)?”

邊地疑城(cheng)第四十

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)告慈氏:若(ruo)有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),以疑(yi)(yi)惑(huo)心(xin)修(xiu)諸功德(de),愿(yuan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼(bi)國。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)了佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可稱智(zhi)(zhi)、大(da)乘(cheng)廣智(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)(wu)(wu)等(deng)無(wu)(wu)(wu)倫最上(shang)勝智(zhi)(zhi),于(yu)(yu)(yu)此(ci)(ci)諸智(zhi)(zhi),疑(yi)(yi)惑(huo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信。猶(you)信罪(zui)福,修(xiu)習(xi)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)本(ben),愿(yuan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)其(qi)國。復有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),積集善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)根,希求佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、普(pu)遍智(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)(wu)(wu)等(deng)智(zhi)(zhi)、威德(de)廣大(da)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)。于(yu)(yu)(yu)自(zi)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)根,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)信。故(gu)(gu)(gu)于(yu)(yu)(yu)往生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)清凈佛(fo)(fo)國,意(yi)志猶(you)豫,無(wu)(wu)(wu)所專(zhuan)據。然(ran)猶(you)續念不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕。結其(qi)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)愿(yuan)為本(ben),續得(de)往生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。是諸人(ren)等(deng),以此(ci)(ci)因緣,雖生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼(bi)國,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)前至無(wu)(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)(shou)所。道止佛(fo)(fo)國界邊,七寶(bao)(bao)城中(zhong)(zhong)。佛(fo)(fo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)使爾,身(shen)(shen)行所作(zuo),心(xin)自(zi)趣向。亦有(you)寶(bao)(bao)池(chi)蓮華,自(zi)然(ran)受身(shen)(shen)。飲(yin)食快樂(le),如忉利天。于(yu)(yu)(yu)其(qi)城中(zhong)(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)得(de)出。所居舍(she)宅在地,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)隨(sui)意(yi)高大(da)。于(yu)(yu)(yu)五(wu)百歲,常(chang)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)佛(fo)(fo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)聞(wen)經法,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)菩薩聲聞(wen)圣眾(zhong)。其(qi)人(ren)智(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming),知經復少(shao)。心(xin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開(kai)解(jie),意(yi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)歡樂(le)。是故(gu)(gu)(gu)于(yu)(yu)(yu)彼(bi)謂之胎生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。若(ruo)有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),明(ming)信佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi),乃至勝智(zhi)(zhi),斷除(chu)疑(yi)(yi)惑(huo),信己(ji)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)根,作(zuo)諸功德(de),至心(xin)回向。皆于(yu)(yu)(yu)七寶(bao)(bao)華中(zhong)(zhong),自(zi)然(ran)化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),跏趺(fu)而坐。須臾(yu)之頃(qing),身(shen)(shen)相光明(ming),智(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)功德(de),如諸菩薩,具(ju)足成就。彌(mi)勒當知,彼(bi)化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者(zhe),智(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui)勝故(gu)(gu)(gu)。其(qi)胎生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者(zhe),五(wu)百歲中(zhong)(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)三寶(bao)(bao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知菩薩法式(shi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de)修(xiu)習(xi)功德(de),無(wu)(wu)(wu)因奉事無(wu)(wu)(wu)量壽(shou)(shou)佛(fo)(fo)。當知此(ci)(ci)人(ren),宿世(shi)之時,無(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)智(zhi)(zhi)慧(hui),疑(yi)(yi)惑(huo)所致(zhi)。

【譯文】釋迦牟(mou)尼佛告訴彌勒菩薩道:“比如有的(de)(de)(de)眾生(sheng)(sheng)用疑惑的(de)(de)(de)態度去修種(zhong)(zhong)種(zhong)(zhong)功德,愿往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)西(xi)方極樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie),他(ta)們(men)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)理(li)解佛智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)稱智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、大乘廣智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無等(deng)(deng)無倫最上(shang)勝智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)的(de)(de)(de)奧妙,對(dui)(dui)(dui)于(yu)這些佛智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)持(chi)懷疑而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)相信(xin)的(de)(de)(de)態度,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)過他(ta)們(men)還(huan)相信(xin)五(wu)逆十惡等(deng)(deng)重(zhong)罪以(yi)(yi)及五(wu)戒十善(shan)等(deng)(deng)福業(ye),能(neng)(neng)造成因果(guo)報應,因而(er)修習(xi)為善(shan)功德,愿往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)極樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie);還(huan)有的(de)(de)(de)眾生(sheng)(sheng),積(ji)累(lei)功德善(shan)根,希望求得佛智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、普遍(bian)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無等(deng)(deng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、威(wei)德廣大不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),但對(dui)(dui)(dui)自己的(de)(de)(de)善(shan)根卻不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)堅定信(xin)心(xin),因此,對(dui)(dui)(dui)于(yu)是否能(neng)(neng)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)西(xi)方極樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie),意志(zhi)猶豫而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)堅定,對(dui)(dui)(dui)于(yu)自修善(shan)根,尚不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)一心(xin)信(xin)奉,因而(er)對(dui)(dui)(dui)于(yu)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)佛國(guo)凈土,只是半信(xin)半疑,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)一心(xin)專念(nian)(nian),但他(ta)畢(bi)竟(jing)能(neng)(neng)夠繼續念(nian)(nian)佛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕,以(yi)(yi)念(nian)(nian)佛力結成其往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)極樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)的(de)(de)(de)善(shan)愿,以(yi)(yi)發愿力為依(yi)據(ju),仍得以(yi)(yi)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)西(xi)方極樂(le)世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)。

“上(shang)述二類人(ren)(ren),以他們(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)因(yin)緣雖得以往(wang)(wang)生西方(fang)極樂世界(jie),但(dan)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)到達無量壽佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)住(zhu)所。他們(men)往(wang)(wang)生的(de)(de)(de)(de)路只(zhi)到極樂世界(jie)邊界(jie)上(shang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)七(qi)寶(bao)城中(zhong),這(zhe)并不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)是阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)造成的(de)(de)(de)(de)。能(neng)(neng)否到達佛(fo)(fo)地(di)取(qu)決于(yu)他們(men)自(zi)(zi)身(shen)(shen)的(de)(de)(de)(de)行(xing)為(wei),取(qu)決于(yu)他們(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)內心(xin)取(qu)向。也有犯有疑(yi)惑的(de)(de)(de)(de)往(wang)(wang)生者(zhe)從寶(bao)池蓮花中(zhong)自(zi)(zi)然受身(shen)(shen),這(zhe)些往(wang)(wang)生到邊界(jie)疑(yi)城中(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)眾生,飲食(shi)方(fang)面(mian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)快樂有如(ru)忉利(li)天,但(dan)其在七(qi)寶(bao)城中(zhong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)得以外出(chu),只(zhi)能(neng)(neng)居住(zhu)在平地(di)住(zhu)宅(zhai)中(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)像其他極樂世界(jie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)圣(sheng)眾那樣(yang)隨意(yi)上(shang)升虛空(kong)。在五百年之中(zhong),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)見到阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)聽聞佛(fo)(fo)說經法,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)見到菩薩、聲聞圣(sheng)眾。這(zhe)些人(ren)(ren)雖有小智而(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明達,對(dui)于(yu)佛(fo)(fo)法經典又(you)知之不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)多,心(xin)靈不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得開解,精神(shen)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得歡(huan)樂,所以邊地(di)疑(yi)城中(zhong)稱這(zhe)些人(ren)(ren)為(wei)‘胎生’。
