江蘇恒(heng)順(shun)醋業股(gu)份有(you)限公(gong)司始創于1840年(nian)清道光年(nian)間。公(gong)司于1999年(nian)8月經股(gu)份制改造更(geng)為現(xian)名(ming),2001年(nian)2月在(zai)上(shang)(shang)海證券交易所成功上(shang)(shang)市(shi)。恒(heng)順(shun)源自佛家《華嚴經》:恒(heng)順(shun)眾生(sheng)(sheng);意為:永遠順(shun)隨眾生(sheng)(sheng)之善性所需。1840年(nian),丹徒人(ren)朱兆懷秉承“恒(heng)順(shun)眾生(sheng)(sheng)”經營(ying)理(li)念(nian)創立“朱恒(heng)順(shun)糟(zao)坊(fang)”,由此開啟“百年(nian)恒(heng)順(shun)”發展征程。
