無(wu)錫(xi)自古就是魚米(mi)之鄉,物(wu)產豐富(fu),美(mei)食琳瑯滿目。梅(mei)(mei)貢(gong)(gong)餅(bing)(bing)是江蘇無(wu)錫(xi)于(yu)1932年創制的,梅(mei)(mei)貢(gong)(gong)餅(bing)(bing)在(zai)吊爐(lu)餅(bing)(bing)的基(ji)礎(chu)上進行了改進和創新,餡心則接近蘇式月(yue)餅(bing)(bing)的口(kou)感(gan)(gan),由三(san)(san)鳳(feng)(feng)橋(qiao)慎(shen)余肉(rou)莊(zhuang)首(shou)創。不同于(yu)月(yue)餅(bing)(bing)的甜(tian)膩口(kou)感(gan)(gan),梅(mei)(mei)貢(gong)(gong)餅(bing)(bing)的餡心較(jiao)為(wei)油重(zhong),但不失口(kou)感(gan)(gan)的鮮美(mei)。此外,梅(mei)(mei)貢(gong)(gong)餅(bing)(bing)的價格相對較(jiao)低(di),因(yin)此備受顧客歡迎,一般人(ren)也將其(qi)當作月(yue)餅(bing)(bing)購買,俗稱為(wei)三(san)(san)鳳(feng)(feng)橋(qiao)月(yue)餅(bing)(bing)。然而,這引起了茶食業主(zhu)的抗議,為(wei)避(bi)免(mian)糾紛,慎(shen)余肉(rou)莊(zhuang)將其(qi)更名為(wei)梅(mei)(mei)貢(gong)(gong)餅(bing)(bing)。
